Right now it's 9:33pm 05/11/21 just came from Your restaurant and we just checked our to go and i ordered #61 stir fried beef with rice instead of vermicelli but it's not here (I had order other food but #61 is not here). This used to be my family's go to spot. First, no one sat us for 5 minutes.. we were just waiting. Second, we sat down and no one took our order for another 15-20 minutes, we couldn't even find someone to take our order. Next we ordered and the food came out REALLY late which was unusual. An auntie brought food out we asked what it was and she just ignored us. Finally the food was sooooo bad. We got the spare ribs (smelled nasty like old pork.. poorly cared for and probably gonna get sick), the pho was sooooo bad average. Soups flavor was bland and I couldn't feed my child. All the employees feel like they are there against their will. I rarely leave low ratings but this place CAN be better. Pho deserves to be better than this garbage. So bad. I have been getting Pho from this restaurant for many years. I stopped by today for a take out order or Pho. I asked if I could have a few extra packets of Sriracha sauce and Hoisin. The gentleman said there was already one of each in there. I said I like it spicy and he threw one packet of Sriracha on the counter and walked away. To the surprise of many, I am not a "Pho" gal. However I do indulge in other Vietnamese dishes. When I get a chance, I come here for the Bun Bo Hue soup (spicy noodle soup). I really enjoyed the way they make it here. It reminds me of my mom's version, which is tasty and healthy. I also order the five color dessert. It's a nostalgic dessert that's does not contain any beans. Overall, I love coming here because it's close to home and is satisfies the craving for a good home cooked Vietnamese meal. read more

The broth was executed very well which is 85% of the pho experience, spring pork roll were OK, the grill marks were almost fake, not sure how they prepare the pork there. I have tried the pho with egg noodles instead of rice noodles and I liked it better because the noodles were not all soggy before you finished the meal. Ordered Pho Ha for takeout during the pandemic. The food was ready on time and it was a smooth pick-up process. Pho Tai Chin ($8.95): Everything was packaged neatly and portion size was good. Decent amount of meat. I would highly suggest asking for the noodles uncooked since its very sticky when pre-cooked. I like to boil my broth at home so the soup is extra extra hot and tastes just like eating in the restaurant. Broth isn't out of this world but its decent enough to be a returning customer. Wanted Pho to go. I was told that I couldn't order a small bowl to go. Only large. What? $15 seems overpriced for what I got. The Pho was just ok not great. I also ordered shrimp spring rolls. Don't bother because it's mostly lettuce. Not very good at all. The restaurant was clean. I would like to give the service a good score but the girl that took my order had to repeat everything 2 or 3 times because she was wearing a mask and I couldn't hear her or understand her. This will be my first bad review. I don't normally leave bad reviews because I encourage businesses to stay open. Been here a few times and unfortunately, this will be my last with the entitled servers. I understand the language barrier but obviously they spoke in perfect English. The ladies here seemed compelled to work. Also when I went to paid them with cash, they don't want my old bills. They asked that I give them new crisp bills. I told them in America as long as it's legit, you can take a ripped, burnt and crumbled bills to the bank and they'll give you brand new bills as long as all of the serial numbers are there. They refused, and are inflexible to do so but again, they preferred cash. What the heck?! She has the audacity to say that the owner doesn't except old or ripped bills. Unheard of ... How can I start this review without being rude? I had been wanting to try this Pho restaurant for a while (like over 2 years) So when my daughters couldn't agree where to go... We ended up here. Cute decoration, clean looking, lots of tables. We were quickly seated. We already knew our order so we wasted no time fiddling with the menus! Pho Ga and Shrimp Spring Rolls! The soup needs some seasoning, a dash of salt, a pinch of pepper.... something! I ordered the small size and that was pretty big. Also the chicken pieces weren't very appealing to me! It's just my personal preference not to have little fatty pieces on my chicken! I like white breast meat nothing else. :\ The spring rolls were also big but again just nothing exciting about them! This place has good pho for the price. I got a heaping large bowl of pho for about $12. It's really filling and you can share it with someone because it's so much food. The pho came out within minutes. It didn't come out as hot as I would've liked. I thought the meat quality was pretty good and the broth was also fragrant. I would come here again. My bf had the steak and rice dish and charbroiled pork rolls. Everything was okay it wasn't the best. There's not much I can say about this plain. Pho was plain, their appetizers were also plain. Service kinda sucks. We always had to get their attention for them to serve us or notice us. When we we're done eating I had to get up my seat and go to the front to pay. I never thought this place was sexiest until my last visit. I used to stop by this place on my way home from work to pick up dinner. The food was decent, so when my sister was in town (she wanted Vietnamese food), my husband and I brought her here. For some reason, the waiter was very sexist and rude to my sister and me. For example, my husband asked for an extra bowl and they brought it to him right away. When my sister and I asked for an extra plate, he decided to make his rounds checking with every single table and "forgot" to get us a plate. When he came back around, my husband asked for a plate, and he brought it right away. I know it's just a plate, but the vibe just wasn't right here. When he dropped off the check, he told my husband "no rush", but he watched our table like a hawk. As soon as I put the card down on the check, he came to our table right away, and would not leave until we selected a tip right in front of him; mind you, he looked at my husband when he knew I put the card down. As soon as my husband signaled me, he turned to me, surprised, to compete the transaction. DIRTY, FILTHY, DISGUSTING restaurant I've ever been in! You would think out of all the restaurants in Brea, this one would be as nice as the others. DO NOT EAT HERE! We didn't even finish our pho. The longer we sat there the more disgusting things we noticed. And the other reviews where they mentioned that the staff ate in the middle of the restaurant were correct. After they served us all four men came out of the kitchen and ate in the middle of the restaurant. They were the loudest people in there. It was hard not to notice. The 2 women behind the register barely gave you the time of day. I really wish I had taken pics. We were in such a hurry to get out of there. AND they are wayyyy over priced!
