After a long day in the sun, this was definitely what I needed. I got the pho dac biet and I couldn't even finish it because it was so much food! Our server, Hannah, was such a sweetheart too. She was super attentive, friendly, and overall such a kind soul! I would recommend this place to anyone, whether or not you have a craving for pho or not! Side note: THEY GIVE FREE PANDAN WAFFLE AT THE END :D

    Short ribs pho

Just had lunch here today. The short version: good food okay service. Was told there were some specials. Their beef stew, the short ribs pho, and a fish dish that wasn't on the menu. Met up with my friend Mary to have lunch. The pho with the fresh noodles is good. I wouldn't say the flavors are deep and rich but definitely really good and didn't taste any msg. Did wish there were more basil and lime as well as noodles. We also ordered the charbroiled pork. It was 5 stars! Perfectly charbroiled and crunchyness for the peanuts. I would say service here is a little scattered. We couldn't get water in their tea cups but then we were poured water within 5 minutes apart. Our waitress also couldn't find our bill and we ended up paying the bill for the table next to ours. (It was couple dollars cheaper) But all in all, I would definitely come back. It was slightly busy here for lunch and their food was delish. Parking in shared lots.

Bone in short rib pho, crab rolls, extra noodles

We came around 8:30 on a Saturday night. The place was still pretty busy but we got a booth right away. Inside was clean and cozy. Bathrooms were clean. The service was quick and very friendly. We ordered the 1lb short rib pho, extra side of noodles, and the crab rolls. The sauce for the crab rolls had a little bit of kick to it. It was delicious! The crab rolls were excellent! I couldn't take too much crab but the texture and crispness and flavor was savory and delicious. The pho flavor was probably the best broth I've ever had. The noodles were abundant, we probably didn't need the extra side of noodles. Overall, was really great experience and service. I can't wait to come back when I'm in the area again.

This restaurant serves pretty good and authentic viet food. Service was somewhat quick and receptive to feedback. I will say the restroom needs a lot more upkeep. The stall doors have a giant gap (and it's also where you sit) so you can make eye contact with the person waiting in line. Also, there was a mystery mark (honestly it looked reddish-brown ) so scary to accidentally touch. Lots of parking as it's in a plaza.

This pho spot has both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the rare steak pho and chicken wings. The service was a bit slow and took awhile for the food to come out. The pho broth was good, it tasted clean and the portion was filling. The chicken wings was pretty salty. I would come back for the pho again and try other items on menu.

Pretty good! I tried their pho and i thought it was good. I like that they offer the choice between the fresh noodle and regular pho noodle. I like my pho with fresh noodle. The broth was light and comforting. The slices of beef were generous and tender, yet they still had some texture to it, in a good way though. The crab eggrolls were nice as well. The outside is crispy and the filling inside had a nice umami flavor to it. The staff were attentive and friendly. The ambience inside is just fine.

I usually don't go for pho but this place is amazing. I love the rare flap meat they use and the soup is the perfect amount of flavor for me. I always go for a side of crispy sticky rice because it's a great balance of texture and flavored well with the scallion and fried onion. The egg rolls are great as well and the pandan waffle has the most perfect, chewy and pillowy texture. They also have a bogo 50 cents cocktails from 8-9pm, and their cocktails are delicious! The service is super great too, very attentive and really quick.

Love this place the EGG ROLLS were unexpectedly amazing. They were pretty big and I couldn't believe how crispy and flavorful they were. The FRIES in the sizzling steak were some of the crispiest I have had ! Even after they cooled down throughout the meal. They held their crunch! Worth a try. Love trying new things at this place it doesn't seem to disappoint. Our server was great and the value for the portions is just amazing.

Stopped by Pho Ha Noi for dinner and got seated right away, which was nice. We ordered the grilled pork vermicelli with an egg roll, and we also got the oxtail pho. The pho broth had really good flavor, but it wasn't served hot enough. The oxtail in the pho was pretty tough, could have been cooked a little longer. The grilled pork tasted good too, but it came out cold, and the egg roll was just okay. The restaurant also had a strong cleaning product smell that reminded me of Fabuloso, which wasn't the best while trying to eat. Service started off fine, but after our food came out, our server never checked back in. We had empty water cups and never got a refill or even a quick "how's everything?" check. Prices were on the high side for pho, and the restrooms were about a 6/10. Overall, the food has potential, especially the flavorful broth, but between the food not being hot and the lack of follow-up service, it wasn't the experience I was hoping for. I'd give them another try.

Came here for the special deal and dinner with the fam! The wait was not that long near closing, but it took around 10 minutes for a family of 5. The moment you arrive, the exterior and interior were picture worthy. So don't forget to take pictures! We ordered 4 items (only 2 dishes were on sale tho): Bo Kho Com & Banh Mi (4.5/5): This dish was on promo and was rich in flavor. Thankful for the servers letting us choose what we can eat it with. For example, banh mi, mi, com, etc. The only downside to this dish is that it had a thick layer of oil on top. We had to scoop it out to reduce our heartburn symptoms LOL. Bun Bo Xao (4/5): My mom ate this dish, and the fish sauce was watered down for her. Everything else was perfect; it just needed a saltier fish sauce. Pho Tai (4.5/5): Nothing wrong here. Got 2 orders of this and it was devoured quickly! Not bad for pho bo. Servers were nice and helpful. When we needed more water, they were there to refill it for us. Just note that for parties of 5 or more, a 15% service charge will be added!

Food: I shared a Phở and Thịt Sườn Bò with my sister. Personally, I thought the broth was a bit saltier than other places. We both thought that the meat could've been improved. The short ribs were tender, but a little tough. We were also expecting Tai, but the meat looked like Tái Bằm. Otherwise, they were generous with meat and noodles portions. Service: Good service, no complains! Ambiance: We came on a Friday night and there was a 10-15 min wait. There's also a bar here, with TVs and music playing.

Delicious northern style pho with really high quality beef from Harris Ranch. This FV location is huge, so there hasn't been a wait the couple times we've gone and is a great place for family dinners or larger parties. Everything, even their non-pho dishes, are all such great quality and tasty. Not to mention the portions are quite large! Right now, the restaurant is still fairly new so they've been offering different off menu dishes like bún xào sả (lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl) that is so good, packed with fresh greens, and texturally satisfying with crunch from peanuts, crisps from the greens, and tender beef. Bonus: the coconut waffle is bomb.com!!! They gave us some complimentary and oh my gooosh I would so pay for it. Crispy, airy, and perfect amount of chewy. Would recommend!

We came here awhile back and today and really enjoyed our meal: 1) bun bo hue - husband really liked this and will be coming back to order this again 2) combination beef pho x 2 - flavors are great, good portion size 3) sizzling steak with egg, bread and pate - kiddo liked this and I enjoyed the pate! 4) Vietnamese ube coffee - decent and potent 5) Imperial rolls - only comes with 2 pieces and it's crispy and nice but expensive 6) short rib soup - don't think I'll get this again as short rib was a bit too chewy for my liking

Viland Coffee is an upscaled, comfortable, modern bright and clean cafe with tables, seats inside and outside. It's not big, I would say it's similar to a size of most local Starbucks. Service is very friendly. You order at counter and they will call your name when the order is done. So I try young coconut blended coffee with half dozen beignets (you can order 6 or 12 only). My young coconut blended coffee is very smooth. Nice touch of dry coconut on top of cream. It's not super strong coffee or super strong coconut juice, so it's nice combination where they adjusted it perfectly. The beignets are just so good, soft, with good texture and kind of like a donut. I can probably eat 12 easily. It's got powdered sugar on top. It can get busy here, so come here during off peak time is highly recommended! Bakeries alone is worth your time here in my opinion!

I do find the espresso to be way too strong and more importantly that the flavor is so artificial (including strawberry, ube, etc). I was also quite annoyed once trying to place an order on the sight while it kept crashing; I called in and was second-guessed or interrogated before my order was taken. As I'd lie about the site crashing; oh how ridiculous! But for what it's worth, it's definitely adequate coffee that will get the job done and get you your coffee fix if you're really craving some. It's a small cramped space and not so unique in terms of design or vibe. Quite uncomfortable.

Not very strong on the coconut or mango taste. The toasted coconut on top was nice though. We ordered the banh xeo tacos, hu tieu (dry), rice porridge with fried donut, and spring rolls. The hu tieu was decent. The noodles could have used more seasoning. The broth on the side was delicious though. I liked the toppings. My son loved slurping the noodles. Same with the rice porridge, though it had more flavor than the hu tieu. The donut in there was pretty good too. The spring rolls were basic. I did like how the carrots inside were pickled and added a bit of tang. The banh xeo tacos were interesting. Nice and crispy. I didn't anticipate all of the mushrooms, but it was good. Definitely needed the sauce. Interesting place to try!

If you like authentic Vietnamese fare, with large portions and at a reasonable price, this venue is a must visit. PROS: - I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants in the OC. I've found that the ones with good meals at cheaper prices tend to be a bit worn down and gritty. But this place has an upscale atmosphere and very positive local vibe, (Vietnamese of many generations and financial standing) and STILL has delicious food, with good portions, at reasonable prices - THE SIGNATURE BANH UOT RICE PAPER PLATES !!! If you come here, you HAVE to order this !!! Nuff said ... - Management went heavy on hiring staff. Hue Ky Mi Gia - Food and Service Appear to Be Declining…read more My wife and I decided to try Hue Ky Mi Gia. The restaurant is located in a busy plaza, and the parking lot is shared with several other businesses, so finding a parking space can be difficult. Location and Parking -- 2/5 The location is convenient, but parking can be challenging because many businesses share the same parking lot. Atmosphere and Comfort -- 2/5 The air-conditioning was weak, and the front door remained open, so the restaurant felt warmer than expected. Service -- 3/5 The service was only okay. The waiters were not especially friendly or welcoming. Food -- 2/5 I ordered the mì vịt tiềm. As everyone can see from my picture, my bowl came with only one small piece of bok choy. In comparison, pictures posted by other customers show the same dish served with several pieces of fresh vegetables. The noodles were okay but much too oily. The broth served on the side was not hot enough, and the duck was dry and tough instead of tender. The pickled vegetables were also too sour. Restaurants can change over time. Based on the difference between my meal and the meals shown in other customers' pictures, the portions and food quality appear to be inconsistent and declining. Cleanliness -- 2/5 The dining area was acceptable, but the restroom needed more attention and cleaning. Overall -- 2/5 Stars Overall, our experience was below average. Hue Ky Mi Gia may be worth trying once if you want something different, but the food, service, comfort, and cleanliness all need improvement.
