We came here awhile back and today and really enjoyed our meal: 1) bun bo hue - husband really liked this and will be coming back to order this again 2) combination beef pho x 2 - flavors are great, good portion size 3) sizzling steak with egg, bread and pate - kiddo liked this and I enjoyed the pate! 4) Vietnamese ube coffee - decent and potent 5) Imperial rolls - only comes with 2 pieces and it's crispy and nice but expensive 6) short rib soup - don't think I'll get this again as short rib was a bit too chewy for my liking

Great service (shout out to Vi! - thanks for the suggestions and being so nice and sweet)! Great food! Really nice layout and decor. Iced soybean milk and fresh lemonade were refreshing and nostalgic. Pork eggroll - crunchy, packed with flavor, served with tons of fresh herbs and lettuce and great dipping sauce. Brisket pho - rich broth with the perfect amount of noodles and brisket. Very good. Vietnamese sizzling steak - filet is tender and pairs so well when you take a piece of bread, smear the pate, some egg, pork ham, it's a lovely bite. The fries are a nice touch. Vietnamese short rib beef stew - great flavor, loved the meat on the bone, but the broth was too runny and needs to be a little thicker like a stew and not a soup. Three color dessert is refreshing and good. The complimentary pandan waffles they give for dessert is amazing! Sooooo chewy, coconutty, yummy, goooood. Had to buy some to go! This place is cute and good and I'll definitely be back,

Pho Ha Noi is easily one of my favorite pho spots in Orange County. The broth was rich, flavorful, and tasted like it had been simmering for hours, while the beef was incredibly tender. We also tried several of their other entrees, and everything was packed with flavor. The grilled dishes were a pleasant surprise and definitely worth ordering alongside the pho. Another bonus is their happy hour specials, including buy one cocktail and get the second for just 50 cents, which makes the experience even better. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese food in OC.

This is officially in my rotation for pho spots in OC! Super generous portions for the price point and you are getting the best deal with the 1 pound short rib pho. Service is also lovely, I appreciate the bar seating area + tables for large parties. Definitely recommend the pandan waffle at the end of your meal!

Yummmmm! Pho Hanoi in FV is a pretty huge restaurant, so the past few times I've gone there hadn't been a wait at all. Parking lot is also huge so easy to find a spot! Grabbed the combination pho, and I was really impressed with both the quantity and quality of protein. The beef was plentiful, and the cuts of meat were soooo tender! I also love that they include meatballs in their combo pho, I feel like that's pretty hard to come by for SoCal pho! Their broth is a bit on the lighter side; not as fatty and rich as other places, but can definitely be seen as a plus depending on your tastes. Their drinks here are also delicious! The sugar cane juice is fresh and undiluted, and the salted iced coffee had the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and bitter. Prices are a bit higher, but it definitely reflects in the quality and portions!

The restaurant itself is really big with plenty of seating, so there was no wait when we came. We ordered the egg rolls, pho, bun bo hue, and a Vietnamese coffee. I'm pretty sure they forgot our egg rolls because they took quite a while to come out. When they finally arrived, the filling felt really mushy and just wasn't my favorite texture-wise. The pho and bun bo hue were both a bit disappointing for me because the broths lacked depth. The bun bo hue especially did not taste quite right to me. The soup felt watery with a slightly sour flavor rather than the rich, spicy broth I usually expect. I ordered the bun bo hue with short rib and instead of an actual short rib with bone, it came as one giant aggressive piece of meat. To be fair, it was a lot of meat so portion-wise it was probably worth the money, but I had to ask for scissors just to cut through it. The meat in the pho also didn't feel like the best quality. The Vietnamese coffee was also mostly ice, so it felt like there wasn't much actual coffee in the drink. Service was another downside. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, but it was surprisingly hard to get ahold of anyone when we needed something. When we left, we noticed several workers gathered near the front entrance while the dining area still needed attention. Overall, the portions were generous but the flavors and service just didn't really do it for me.

Really nice spot that opened recently. Easy parking and spacious clean place. I'll say that the portions are WAY bigger. Large portions of protein so you feel like you're getting what you pay for. It's like two cups of rice with the stew!! And half the pork dish we got was pork. So good. They even came out with pandan waffles as a free dessert. Very sweet of them! The mango smoothie was a bit artificial tasting but overall - YUM

4.5 stars I had Pho Ha Noi bookmarked for some time, apparently it is well known from San Jose and this is their first SoCal location. The restaurant was large with beautiful interior decor, and service was friendly. I appreciated the complimentary pandan waffles that they gave to each table too. The menu has some more unique dishes and the beef pho includes quality beef meat plus a tender beef short rib option. I only wish they had a pho option with tripe, my favorite cut. The Northern style pho had a tasty broth and came as a large portion bowl. You have three options of noodles, fresh (wide), regular (thinner and chewier), or egg noodles. The accompaniments included the typical herbs plus bean sprouts (blanched), jalapeños, and sliced lemon (not lime today), as well as hoisin + sriracha dipping sauces. We ordered two pho to try and a side of tendon. Prices were between $15-20 per bowl. The cups, chopsticks, spoons, and utensil tray all matched (same gray material) which was a nice touch. We finished with the Healthy Drink (grass jelly with basil seed) and Tri Color Dessert, both of which were refreshing. Solid Vietnamese restaurant and a great addition to Fountain Valley!

Pho Ha Noi now lives where The Recess Room used to be. They dining space is gorgeous and has ample amount of seating with a private back room. Our server, Hien helped us when we came for Mother's day. She was patient and brought our food out right when they came out. All the dishes were nice and hot. The bo luc lac had great flavor, eggrolls had a beautiful fry, pho had tai that was tenderized (great for kids). The pho bowls had an option of thick rice noodles or regular banh pho which is unheard of. I ordered the bo ne and was blown away. The filet was cooked to perfection, medium rare. It came with a side of banh mi and fries. My kids picked at the fries so it was a win. They have a bar side here and an incredible deal of drinks if you're here during promo hour. Buy one cocktail, get 1 for 50 cent! Overall, it was a great experience. Pho broth is good and I can see why there's a hype for this place.

I passed by this place a few times and noticed it's a pretty new pho restaurant, quite big and nice, located in the FV area. So I decided to come in and try it. Inside, the space is spacious and feels very clean. The dining area is roomy and comfortable. I ordered the bánh mì chảo and also tried their pho. The bánh mì chảo came with fries on the side, which I thought was a nice little touch and kind of different in a good way. The pho had a non greasy broth and tender meats, but I found the flavor a little bit bland for my taste. My server was a young girl named Vy  funny enough, her name is the same as mine. She was very friendly, sweet, and attentive, really taking care of everything in a natural way. The overall staff here felt warm and welcoming. I also noticed the menu has a lot of drink options, including cocktails, which is a nice variety. There was also plenty of parking when I came !

    Pho Combination with fresh noodles.

I came here tonight with my family for dinner 6/20/26. I saw an instagram story for this place and was impressed. Like previous reviews before the place is spacious and I did see a sign 132 person limit. When we were seated and offered water my mother got a cup with lipstick on it. The server was apologetic and returned with a clean cup. She would later give our table a free waffle dessert as part of their apology. The waffle was delicious. I ordered the number 1 Pho Combination with fresh noodles. My mom got the Chicken Pho, while my stepdad got the beef stew and baguette. Sister in law got the number 2 Pho with rare steak and fresh noodles. Overall everyone agree their food was just ok. And my mom decided that she won't return since the food didn't stand out. If I do come back it would be to try their other dishes than Pho. Service was reactive instead of proactive. After the food was delivered the service disappeared. My mom had to flag down a server to get our bill. I didn't get a water refill until the very end of my meal. I don't know if it was busy or new people were getting trained but the lack of consistent service was annoying. And is a factor in my review.

Put in an order to bring home to celebrate my aunts birthday who is currently ill. We ordered: 2 phos, 2 BBH, Bo luc lac, 2 eggroll appetizers. We didn't realize until we got home that they did not give us any noodles for our pho. It wasn't worth the gas money to drive back so we didn't go. But our pho was incomplete without the noodles. Truthfully all of the dishes were just okay, decent but nothing that blew us away. The BBH just had 2 pieces of cha and a huge block of meat. I think the block of meat was supposed to make up for the other meats missing from normal BBH. The bo luc lac wasn't very good to me but possibly because it was dry from sitting there during the car ride home. Overall it could've been better if it was eaten there for ultimate freshness but it wasn't an option for our family at the time.

I was craving pho and finally was able to try this place on my way home from doing some errands around the area. I walk in and was greeted immediately and sat down immediately. The first thing you'll definitely notice about the restaurant is how spacious and vibrant the inside is. They have a really big bar top too and the place serves alcohol as well which you don't often see at pho places. I browsed through the menu and opted to order the combination pho as well as the eggrolls. My waiter Ian also recommended trying the flat noodles which I opted for. The pho took less than 5 minutes to come out while the eggrolls took about 10. The portion size for the pho is great for one person. Definitely enough meat as well when ordering the combination. How did it taste though? I have to say I'm 50/50 about the broth here. It was very light and delicate and dare I say refreshing... but the taste itself was very bland to me. Cant say anything bad about the meats though! The rib meat especially was tender and delicious while the brisket cuts were fatty and tender as well! The eggrolls came out after the pho and holy they were huge! Crunchy and delicious especially goes well with the sauce served with it. I would say never eggroll portions this huge at a pho restaurant. Service was awesome as I was approached by my original waiter, Ian (yooo same name), and others to fill up my water and asked how the food tastes. Altogether without tip I paid around $27 for both dishes which is on the premium side compared to other pho places. Overall though, what I paid for in terms of the portion size is definitely worth it! I would say though, you would need to try the broth and decide whether you'll like it or not and honestly sitting here typing this review out... I'm still 50/50 about it. Service definitely bumped my score up though. Try this place out! See if it can knockout your go to pho places!

Good atmosphere, good service, great food! Came here on a Thursday 6:30PM and our server Kristin was great and attentive. We ordered appetizers: (1) pork belly skewer + (1) sausage skewer. Kinda steep price for 1 skewer but each were very well cooked and flavored. The drinks were super yummy. We ordered the Guava Calpico & the Lychee Margarita. The lychee was lined with Li Hung Mui which was delish! Guava was refreshing and milky. Food: Chasu Tom Kha Ramen: a little spicy but the broth had amazing flavor, chasu was tender & filling. Original Gyu-Tonkatsu Ramen: We had the option to sub meat for egg, shrimp or tofu with no additional charge. We chose the egg because their eggs are soooo yummy & perfectly gummy. Curry Tonkatsu Ramen: a little spicy but always a good choice. Katsu wasn't crispy but had good flavor and mixed well with the ramen. Beef Belly Udon: so much beef & flavor was so good. Udon was tender & plentiful. Came with tempura flakes on the side.

Unfortunately, the filet mignon yakitori was tough (we couldn't chew through it & had to spit it out ) and overcooked. Our server was quick to offer a replacement and unfortunately the 2nd time was still a bust, which at that point seemed more like an issue with the meat they had rather than the cooking itself, so not much they couldve done. Thankfully, the manager (i believe, he was dressed differently than the servers) was kind enough to take it off our bill. Our server also offered a dessert on the house to make up for our experience! We got the black sesame coconut ice cream with sago and it was sooooo good. Of all the noodle dishes, my favorite was the chashu tom kha ramen. holy moly, the flavors were incredible. And for $17?! In this economy?! Can't be beat. The drinks were all great too! Well balanced, refreshing, and unique twist of flavors. Can't wait to go back!

The atmosphere within was calm and comforting, familiar in a way that soothed the soul. In a world filled with noisy feasting halls and chaotic marketplaces, this establishment stood as a peaceful sanctuary where one might rest and enjoy a most noble meal. The serving folk were nothing short of extraordinary. Attentive without hovering, quick of wit, and brimming with personality, they carried themselves with the sort of genuine hospitality that cannot be taught by any guild or academy. Every interaction felt sincere and full of heart. Now, let us speak of the pan-fried gyoza, for I fear words alone may fail to capture its greatness. [Missing noodles, expensive ramen, bad customer service, and no reason to come back.]…read more I visited this restaurant to place a to-go order and picked up my food during a late lunch around 1:40 p.m. I ordered two items, including a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. When I got back to work in Santa Ana and opened my bag around 2:30 p.m., my ramen had NO NOODLES. It was literally just broth and toppings. I called the restaurant expecting a simple apology and a reasonable solution. Instead, the manager would not even speak to me directly and chose to communicate through a waiter the entire time, which made the situation even more frustrating. We went back and forth multiple times with the waiter acting as the middleman. First, they told me I could come back and pick up the missing noodles. That was not realistic. I was already back at work, and it takes me about 25 minutes to get from Fountain Valley to Santa Ana. Driving all the way back for a side of noodles made no sense. So I asked for what seemed like the easiest and most reasonable solution: a complimentary bowl of ramen on my next visit. Instead, I was told no, but they could give me "extra noodles" next time. Extra noodles next time? What exactly was that supposed to do for me when I was sitting there hungry with no actual ramen to eat that day? Then the manager, again through the waiter, said she would personally drive noodles to my job. I even told them that did not make sense because by the time she got there, it would be around 4:30 p.m. At that point, my lunch break would be long over, the ramen would be cold, and all of it would be a waste of my time, her time, restaurant resources, and gas. But I agreed, because at that point it was obvious they really did not want to simply offer me a free bowl of ramen on my next visit. And to be clear, I was not asking for some huge free meal. I was asking to be compensated for the ramen I already paid good money for and did not even receive correctly. For how expensive ramen is, that should not have been a difficult ask. About 10 minutes later, the waiter called back and said the manager would give me a free bowl of ramen next time I came in, which was the exact solution I had suggested from the start. I can only assume she realized how far the drive was and how unnecessary and impractical that solution would have been. Mistakes happen. Forgetting the noodles was one thing. But the way this was handled was unnecessarily difficult, inconvenient, and honestly kind of absurd. I did not ask for a refund. I was looking for an apology and some common-sense customer service. Instead, I got a lot of back-and-forth and a manager who would not even speak to me directly. Kudos to the waiter for doing their best to mediate the situation. Even they thought the situation could of been handled differently by the manager. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to others based on how this situation was handled.
