I can't say enough great things about Sebastian and this restaurant. I work in Cupertino and make it a point to come here at least once a week--sometimes up to three times a week. Even though I live farther down the Peninsula, I gladly make the 30-minute drive because the food and service are consistently outstanding. On my most recent visit, Sebastian truly went above and beyond. He was acting as the host, waiter, and cook all at the same time, yet he never missed a beat. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm welcome, a genuine smile, and exceptional professionalism. He made sure every customer who came through the door felt acknowledged and cared for, offering water, answering menu questions, and providing thoughtful recommendations. What impressed me most was watching him seamlessly move between the dining area and the kitchen while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent service. His work ethic is remarkable, and he carries himself with the leadership, communication skills, and dedication of a manager. Be aware / False advertisement - must have changed ownership since this place had been remodeled since I came here 2 years ago. Menu also looks different: I ordered the Hot and Sour seafood noodle, the description says that it comes with (shrimp, salmon, squid, and pineapple). Two years ago, they gave me real shrimp, salmon pieces, real squids and real pineapple chunks. This time, it came with squid balls, and no pineapple chunks. When I asked the waitress, she said that they never gave out real squids or real pineapple chunks, but rather, squid balls, and pineapple juice for the broth?!?!? That's a lie!!! I love the fresh cut basil mint in the Pho. My son loves getting their meat combo and I always get the vegetarian broth because I have stupid food allergies. Sadly, I'm allergic to mono sodium glucide/MSG and their meat broth has MSG in it but, I can have their vegetarian broth which is made differently, and still has the same delicious flavor Without me throwing up. Lol. Every time, my son and I have gone to this Cupertino location we are always seated right away and the service is fast and friendly! They have a fairly big open area for seating that is all indoors, but pretty spacious considering it's a Pho house and they have three different TVs playing some sort of local channels as well as some sports. They always seem very clean and pick up the dishes as soon as you leave. I remember before the pandemic they had macaroon ice creams, which I wish they would bring back, but I know it's hard to have new updated things specially post pandemic. Don't be fooled by their hours listed on here. They claim to close at 9pm, they turn off their open sign at 9pm, but in reality, they stop accepting dine in at 8:45pm so they actually partially close at 8:45pm. They hate customers, they don't want your business after 8:45pm unless its to-go. What kind of poor business mentality is this. Even a party of 1 looking to dine in just for some food and then leave IS STILL A CUSTOMER that you shouldn't be turning away. It was another rainy cold day on our vacation here so we wanted to have some soup for lunch. We decided to get some pho. We yelped searched a place and found Pho Hoa Noodle Soup. They have pretty decent reviews so we decided to check it out, The interior decor of the restaurant was nice but I did notice that many of the tables still had dirty dishes on it. Just an observation, it didn't really matter because we were doing take out anyway. I got the meatball pho and I wanted the children's meat and meatball pho but they said that they can't do children's meals for takeout. So I had to order her a regular size. My husband got number 21 which was the brisket and meatballs. We also got spring rolls. The menu isn't labeled as spring rolls. It's called "fried roll". I asked the lady several times if the fried roll was a spring roll. She didn't really understand but she finally understood and answered me after repeating myself a few times. The price listed on the menu is for one spring roll. I think it was like $2.00 something. There were three of us so I ordered one for each of us. Then we take it home to eat. It was nothing special. The broth was okay nothing really spectacular. And the meatballs weren't all that great either. The size of the take out containers were also kind of small. It kind of looked like kids size take out containers. The spring rolls too, I was disappointed. Back home when we order spring rolls, we get huge pieces of lettuce to wrap the rolls in. Today we got some small itty bitty pieces of lettuce, definitely not big enough to put in my spring roll. One thing my daughter looks forward to is the cucumber that usually comes with the spring roll. There was none in the spring roll dish. The beef stew soup looked heavier than the regular pho broth, but it paired amazingly well with the noodles. I got 4-5 big chunks of beef. Pho Hoa is a great place to get some comfort pho. Throughout High School, I found myself craving Pho Hoa on rough days. I love how simple the Pho is here, and how welcoming the service is. I am not vegetarian, but for some reason, I enjoy Pho Hoa's Vegetarian Pho (9/10). Something about it is comforting and makes me feel healthy and satisfied. I've tried the Chicken Pho (6/10) in the past but found that the meat was too dry for me. I've also tried the Chicken Vermicelli (9/10), which was amazing, but a huge portion size, so only get it if you are really hungry! The pho always comes out quickly.
