    Bonchon

Soft tofu soup here was great and love the stone pots for rice that crisp the rice nicely. We got the soup and bulgogi combo which was perfect for 2 people. Parking is pretty easy in the strip mall and they have lots of options for tofu soup. The bonchon was solid and they refilled it when we asked. Plenty of seating and the robot delivery is a kitschy touch

Favorite tofu soup place! Way better than BCD in my opinion and the flavor is sooo good!

We had lunch before 11:20 on Sat. I found only one table taken by 4 people. Thank God! Quiet, not busy yet before lunch time. My hubby and I ordered very spicy Kalbi tofu, mild beef tofu. The hot rice pot was just perfect, so chewy, steamy, flavorful. I loved it. Tofu was really tasty. All the side dishes which were kimchi, cucumber kimchi, bean sprouts, mini anchovy w peanuts, fish cakes, and potato salad were so good. We really enjoyed the tofu w soju drink but 2 servers looked so overwhelmed, didn't care about us. I wanted to ask them a refill of some kimchi, bean sprouts but hard to ask them to refill some side dishes. They have been using robot service for delivering the side dishes to the tables. Not enough to serve the hot foods, charge the bills, refill the side dishes. I wish the owner realizes how busy the restaurant is on Sat. Two servers can't cover the big dining area. So many customers are in a line for the large group of party, family lunch, and so many to go orders and etc. Finally, we finished our lunch and asked our server to pay but it took so much time to pay the bill. She took orders from other tables, took care of other customers...ummm...insane. Two server were not enough to serve all the customers. I barely paid the bill w reward points thank to our old server we've known for years. She is a great server, so sweet all the time. To be honest, looked so busy after 12. They need to hire more people to seeve many customers during lunch time on weekend. The most important things for me to choose the restaurant are the service, quality, and how consistent the taste is.

Came in to Kaju soft tofu for dinner with my girlfriend on a Saturday night. Small restaurant in a crowded strip mall, parking was tight but we found a spot. The waiting area was crowded and we were 10th on the waiting list. Our wait time was around 40 minutes, plenty of time to peruse the menu and decide on our orders. Once we were seated we were able to order from the iPad on our table. I went with the combo having spicy pork bulgogi and the pork tofu bowl. My girlfriend ordered the combo with galbi and seafood tofu. The food came out in stone bowls which kept everything hot. We also ordered an egg each for the tofu bowls and cracked our raw eggs into the bowls for a poached egg. The food comes out via a robotic server that brings the food to the table. Everything tasted great and we enjoyed our dinners. There was plenty of food and we both left stuffed. We will definitely return.

We love Kaju Tofu all the time for chewy hot rice pot, called ddukppaki rice pot, real Tofu broth, and side dishes. We had early lunch before 12. We know they open at 11. We had mild beef tofu, my wife's very spicy kalbi tofu. Everything was great like always, fresh side dishes including kimchi, the flavorful tofu, and our fave fresh cooked hot rice pot. It was so quiet when we got there but was packed, so busy around 12. My wife barely asked our server to refill some side dishes. We finished most of side dishes, tofu except rice. We decided to take some leftover rice and asked the server but it took a lot longer to pay the bill, having to go box for rice, and final receipt. I understand Saturday lunch time is a lot busier, packed but they have a problem for serving. I saw only two server and one person to clean the tables. I wish at least one more or two to cover the big dining area on weekend. My wife waited for a while to pay the bill, getting the receipt. She said, let's leave ASAP from here. I can't wait anymore. Too busy... Well, they have the service robot to bring some side dishes to the table. However, it is not OK to take orders, bring the hot foods to the tables, refill the side dishes, and pay the bills, bring to go boxes, and etc. It shouldn't be replaced by robot. We always concerned about the good service, good quality, and consistent taste to come back to the restaurants. I found a new order tablet on the table but I think this was not enough to cover all the services. It saves time using tablets and simple service robot not like the real person. Hope the owner realizes how busy the restaurant is and how important the service is especially on Mother's day weekend.

Sumptuous and delicious authentic Korean food, friendly service from staff and delivery robot, comfortable and clean facilities. It's supposed to be a Tofu place, but our host who brought us there did not let us offer Tofu soup, and we all still liked it a lot. 4 big dishes for 5 hungry people and we still had leftovers. Everything we had was excellent: seafood pancake (we ordered it extra crispy) was a hit, I personally loved the beef rib soup, Galbi (aka Kalbi) was humongous (tasty, sweet, and tender), wrapped pork belly was delightful. We were surprised by a gentle delivery robot, came to us quietly with all the appetizers. We had to offload them ourselves but it was a lot of fun.

Came here for family gathering dinner for Korean tofu soup. They have touch screen for guests to order food. We ordered the seafood tofu soup, chicken bulgogi and fried pancake and grilled fish. I recommend the fried pancake because it is pretty big portion and it is delicious. There is no steam egg on the menu, and no salad potato. This restaurant charges 18% gratuity for party of 5 or more, so beware of this rule.

Soft tofu soup and cold noodles are my son's favorite foods. So we decide to go to Kaju Soft Tofu place as I heard good things about their soups and noodles. They have a robot delivering food and it's so cool!! We didn't have to wait that long to be seated and most of our food was brought over by a robot. All the hot stone items were brought over by the staff as that could be dangerous to pick up and handle via robot. All the banchan were free refills, my favorite was the anchovies. The spicy cold noodles was yummy, I really liked that it was light and refreshing with the vingear and freah veggies added. The spicy beef and veggies soup was delicious. The veggies, especially the mushrooms was so good. The beef short ribs soup was light and was full of flavor. The short ribs were super tender and paired with the noodles was perfect. The tofu was spicy and just to my liking, I ordered my tofu at very spicy. The service was great and the food was excellent.

Cold noodles and BOSSAM - COMBO

Good food, often busy. I've been here a few times and I can say from personal experience that there is never a shortage of customers. It doesn't matter what day or time you go, just expect it to be busy, but of course even busier on nights and weekends, especially around holidays. The food here is always good and it's consistent. Definitely a strong contender with a well known restaurant with 3 letters (the 3 that come after letter A). The tofu soup has a good, strong base. The bossam is delicious and cooked to perfection. The cold noodles are absolutely delicious and very plentiful - you get a lot of food for how much you pay for. Expect this to be as loud and busy as a typical tofu soup restaurant. It's typically noisy and they usually have music (kpop) playing in the speakers too. Overall, great place and will come back again. Be mindful of the parking lot - it's shared with a plaza and can get busy quick. I've come here a few times where I've had to park on the street because of limited parking in the lot.

    GALBI Tofu Soup 갈비순두부 $17.99
    Clara C.

Kaju Soft Tofu still has my favorite soontofu ever: galbi soft tofu. The crazy thing is soontofu costs $17.99 per bowl! This includes the rice bowl that comes in the stone pot. Add water to it after you remove the rice. Take it home to drink. This also includes the side dishes, like kimchi cabbage, kimchi radish, bean sprouts, etc. You order on the tablet at your table. When you need to check out, there is an option on the tablet too. I don't feel the five stars is deserving because the service was unfortunately lacking. The tablet has options to ask for water or get the check, but there is no button to get to-go containers or more napkins. It was hard to flag down someone, and it took them even longer to get what we asked for. Free parking in the private lot No WiFi Bathroom available in the back Credit card/Apple Pay accepted

This is a must stop for us when in town. Food is consistently good! A modified table service that's basically self service. Not too extensive of a menu, ordering on the iPad available on your table is quite easy. It works even for requesting more napkins, utensils, etc. I actually find this efficient as you don't need to flag down a server for assistance. Your food is delivered by this robotic thingy. Occasionally, a server would come by for bonchon refills. Although this place is a fairly big restaurant, it gets packed. This place can be quite busy, the yelp waitlist helps! Another satisfying meal...check!

Good food and great experience. I came with my sisters and we all tried something different from the menu. I had the galbi tofu soup. My sisters had the bibimbap and the galbi with cold noodle. The ban chan sides were all delicious and the waitress generously topped us off. It was also cool to see the robot delivering our food. We came early at 5:00pm and it was easy parking. Great service. Please come and create your own adventure.

    Hot Stone White Rice

Down here for college visit, found this spot because I wanted tofu soup. Greeted and seated by friendly staff. Easy ordering via tablet connected on the table. Food is brought out by both staff and cute electronic robot kitty. Seafood pancake was ginormous and had a nice crispy crunch, loaded with seafood. Dishes are served with hot stone white rice. Who doesn't love the crispy rice on the bottom of the stone? The Galbi was perfectly flavored and cooked. My family and I all enjoyed this local spot and will be back if in the area.

Is the broth a veggie broth? Asking for a vegetarian friend 😊

Yes, you can definitely request a veggie broth instead of the original beef bone broth!

Do you get side dishes (ban chan) for take out orders?

I ordered the mushroom tofu soup for take-out and it came with the sides :)

Are you still serving shikhye? Love that stuff!

    Yes we do! 🤗

How is the baby plain tofu?

Never tried it, medium spicy is not spicy enough. LOL

    Do they use msg?

I don't know if y'all read the research, but MSG isn't bad.

The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday.
