It was our first time at Pho House when we stopped in for dinner. They're located in a strip mall which shares parking with Saigon Market. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we entered on Friday night, which was surprising. When we drove by another Vietnamese restaurant less than a block away, there was a line out the door. I ordered the House Special vermicelli bowl. It had a variety of toppings which I enjoyed. My husband ordered the char broiled pork plate with rice. The pork didn't seem char broiled and was more pan fried without any char. Same with the pork on my bowl. The server was nice. There's a lot of competition with newer Vietnamese restaurants in the South Bay. Glad we got to try this one.

I ordered take out via Doordash. Their price from Doordash is the same as in store so this is the best. It was super convenient to pick up. When I came, the food was ready, and packaged. The packaging is normal, and tight. They double bagged the soup in case of spills. They used a tall, thin cup that perfectly snuggles in my car cup holder, preventing it from tipping over during my driving. The soup was hot and flavorful. There were 3 pcs of short ribs. One of the pcs didn't have enough meat so I would say this is equivalent to 2 pcs in other restaurants whose short ribs are bigger. The staff was nice and friendly when I came to pick up. Overall, the $14.99, I like the price very much. My take out comes with utentils, hoisin, and srirachi. The parking here is huge and ample. Overall I would come back for pho.

Food 8.9/10: pho was delicious and the pork was good. They gave me the wrong item for the egg noodle but that is okay because I got to try something new. Service: 10/10: very attentive and kind. Ambiance: nice and clean. Parking: somewhat busy for a 1:00 pm.

There's nothing quite like a comforting bowl of pho and while there are lots of options in the South Bay, few of them stand out like Pho House. I like simple so I typically go with the beef (#2), and iced coffee. Service is always fast and friendly. The couple who are usually there running the place are super sweet. The restaurant itself is clean with indoor and outdoor seating. It's located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. Definitely give this place a try for good pho!

I live in Venice, and have been searching for a great pho spot. Pho House is worth the drive, and we have made it multiple times. My friend always orders the pho combo, and I get the #10 vermicelli bowl. I could honestly eat here nearly every day. If you are in the area, or even if you aren't you should stop by. The staff is awesome, and I love their ice tea and you get free refills. Pho House rule!

My husband and I came here for a casual dinner on a Friday night around 6 pm. Pho House is located in a strip mall in Lawndale, where they have several other Vietnamese businesses and some Peruvian eateries. We were seated immediately when we came in. There were a couple of other diners inside but the restaurant wasn't too busy. I ordered the pho dac biet and my husband had the house special vermicelli. Although they specialize in pho, they still have a good variety of different dishes on the menu including vermicelli and rice dishes. We both enjoyed our food and it was also incredibly cheap. Service was good. The ambiance here is very casual, so it would be a good spot for a quick meal. This place is not far from where we live so we plan to come back whenever we're craving Vietnamese.

It's a great place to eat some good pho even though it's a heat wave right now I had some lol they have fans inside so it wasn't too hot but the pho was delicious I got the beef pho with some Thai tea and both were delicious service is good too staff is nice and prices are good you get a big ol bowl of pho and it has lots of seating too if you wanna eat with friends

We came here on New Year's Day. After being seated, we noticed that there weren't many people working but the place was busy so we were prepared to stay and wait, understanding that they have many orders to fulfill. The service was the best they could do at the time which I appreciate. The food however, was subpar. I read the reviews and brought my parents here since our first choice was closed and had decent expectations which were not met. The noodle dish we ordered came out soggy and mushy with half the noodles cold and half of it warm. It was comparable to badly microwaved leftovers. The pho was okay, with hard noodles and broth lacking flavor. The spring rolls were decent but I wish there was a little more flavor as well. Although reasonable for service to take long as it's a somewhat busy holiday, the food was very disappointing ):

A little mom and pop-type Vietnamese spot tucked away in a small strip mall off of Hawthorne. I came early in the day for a late breakfast. The people were super friendly, smiling and so accommodating. I ordered the Bun Dac Biet (House Special Vermicelli Noodles) which included grilled shrimp, charbroiled pork, egg rolls, bean curd shrimp cake. The beauty about vietnamese food is that it's healthy, light and refreshing, and Pho House made it just right. The meats were all great, but the lettuce, cucumbers, pickled daikon and carrots all tasted so fresh. Major props on the attention to detail with the peanuts and fried shallots (some places would just skimp or neglect these altogether). I also ordered a hot vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It wasn't the best coffee as there were a few milk curdles (?) after I mixed it, so had to fish those out before drinking it. Otherwise it was okay. All in all, a friendly little vietnamese restaurant with a solid menu of offerings and good food.

The food was amazing and service was great, the food came fast and was satisfying, I will come here more often..

First time here great service but I did find a hair in my food! I was so dissatisfied.

Hello I am the nine year old kid with that orange jacket, I've been going to this restaurant for a few months now I really like the food especially the charbroiled pork with rice. This restaurant deserves more customers then it's getting right now every time I go there there is only one other person there but the food is very good so if your reading this review please try the restaurant I highly recommend it. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants! My husband I go here often. I like the affordable prices, prompt service, and the TV. Although the TV is small and old, if you ask nicely, they'd change the channel for you. The owner is Korean and she always gives me extra onions and kimchi. read more

Every once in a while me and a few friends would come here and have some of their amazing pho. They took my here for my first time and oh my god it was so good. The waitresses are soooo nice and have great timing and want to make sure you love your food. Best pho ive ever had and amazing prices. They also would give us a few slices of watermelon when wed finish eating and i thought that was pretty cool. Ill always love this place and i suggest to anyone that wants some great pho for a great price. read more

I've been coming here off and on for the last 5 years. The food is always fresh and tasty. I always order Thai iced tea with my meal. It is a must! I've had the chicken, veg and beef Pho. All of it is delicious and healthy. I recently tried the spring rolls, and wow are they really good with the peanut sauce. Today will be my 5th time coming this week and I am very much looking forward to it. read more

I had the Pho Tai, and it was very good. The broth was flavorful, and there was plenty of bean sprouts for the 4 of us. The service was quick for lunch, and we were able to eat and get back to work in just over an hour. There was plenty of parking in the lot. read more

My favorite Pho place because of the service and the food. Forget about the bad reviews on this one folks. Just stop by anytime and you will see how popular it is. Everytime we go that place is hoppin with people and no wonder. Despite all the customers they move quick in there. You won't wait long to get your food. The owner, John, is always there with a smile. He is super friendly and will get to know you after just a few visits. He is ultra on-the-ball about everything from clearing a table for you to making sure you are served properly. The Pho is great and I am a fan of this meal so I have tried many. I do not stray now that I found this place. The broth is flavorful and the noodles, just the right texture. They have young coconuts there you should try. They pop a straw in there and you can drink the fresh coconut water and then spoon out the meat if you like after for a little healthy dessert. You should give it a try read more

i've had my share of pho for the past 10 years. i was eating authentic pho with my vietnamese roommate before it became popular and all over k-town, j-town, whatever town. i like the pho house. what is there not to like? price is right, soup is not too greasy, not too salty, always chewy noodles, and people are nice. may be i'm a softy for a mom and pop restaurant, where their kids help out after school and weekends, but the food and the service has never disappointed me. and if you want some extra meat, order some korean bbq. how can you go wrong? korean bbq and some hot pho on a freakin cold night! read more

Just came back from Mexico and was really craving pho! Pho House was near by and we decided to stop in. Everything here is great! The broth is very flavourful and the beef ribs tastes really good. Bowl Thai is the original location, and their other two locations, Sweet Rice and Bowl Thai Grill, are just a couple blocks away. Order first at the counter, then you're given a cup for self-serve water. The self serve station also has napkins and utensils. Then, it's free seating and the food is brought to you, freshly made to order and pretty quickly, I might add. I had the Tom Yumm Soup with chicken (default is medium spicy). It was a huge serving in very large bowl. It came with a bowl of white rice. The flavors were rich and aromatic, a great mixture of beach mushrooms, lemongrass, lime, and chili. But it's still my favorite bowl of pho in the South Bay (so far). Disclaimer, I've only ever gotten their pho and nothing else. Their water tastes like they sourced it from a stainless steel bowl. Their silverware needs a wipe down before eating. But their pho is one we come back to. Maybe it's the water and the silverware that help build the flavor. Whatever the recipe is, I'm not asking for it. I don't wanna know. Don't tell me. See you next time. That's it.

If you're going to spend that much, go somewhere else where the food actually has flavor and is worth your money.

The kiosk also helped me discover items I didn't notice on the menu board, like the mushroom burger and chili cheese fries, which ended up being great choices. The dining area is on the smaller side with just a few tables, but when we went it wasn't busy at all, so there was plenty of seating. When I spotted that they had Pumpkin Spice drinks, I knew I needed to try it. I'm a big pumpkin spice girl and won't pass up a PSL drink when I see one. One can get the Pumpkin Spice, hot, iced or iced blended. I got my drink ice blended with regular milk. A small came out to about a little over $6.71 I was slightly surprised since the menu showed a small about a $1 less than that but then I saw that whipped cream was extra. Hmm I'm not a big whipped cream fan and honestly would've skipped it if I knew it was extra. Inspite of the initial sticker shock with slightly higher price, I ended up enjoying my drink. It has a really good pumpkin flavor. It was cool and quite refreshing. It also had a bit of a caffeine kick. The Pumpkin Spice was good and I've got my eye on their Cookie Butter and Fruity Pebbles for a future indulgence.

I had just told them that I was very picky about pho, especially recently. A lot of my go-to spots have been disappointing lately so I was craving a good bowl of pho - one that really hits the spot and Oh My Pho did just that. The moment we pulled into the parking lot I was like, "I have a good feeling about this place." I walked in and was immediately greeted with a deep aromatic smell of pho in the air. All 3 of us ordered their Pho Combination which has it all: Sliced brisket, sliced eye round, tripe, tendon, meatballs. We also ordered their shaken beef rice platter to share. Before digging into my bowl, I took a long deep smell of the broth as if I was taking the fattest bong rip known to mankind. It only got better from there though because the broth tasted as good as it smelled. Incredibly flavorful. All the flavors were balanced -- salty, sweet, umami. The noodles were cooked almost perfect (I like my noodles very al dente), but the doneness was definitely the kind that would suit everyone's preference. The shaken beef was delicious too. The meat was very tender and they mixed fries in which isn't typical/common, but it was really good! The rice was made perfectly too, at least to my preference. Only (minor) complaints were my bowl not being hot enough which is funny because I like my food cold, but certain things need to be piping hot like noodle soup. Also there wasn't very much meat in the shaken beef dish. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. I'm pretty far from OMP, but will definitely come back again soon with my friends since they're regulars here!

After my 1st review, I did eventually decide to visit this place again. This is after I expanded my palate a bit more and tried a few more Pho places. I'm sad to say that my opinion of this restaurant did not improve. The base of the soup is very bland in comparison to all other Pho places I've gone to. While the price is cheap and the service is good, I can't get past the bland taste. And lets face it... taste is arguably the most important aspect of any food. Being someone who supports local businesses, I'd still recommend anyone to give this place at least one try. Just don't expect to be impressed by the taste. There is better to be had out there... much better. read more

I ordered pho, which came in a big portion with perfectly cooked noodles and a flavorful broth. The spring rolls were also tasty, and the rice was done just right. However, the service was quite slow, and there were flies buzzing around, which was a bit off-putting. The restaurant could really benefit from some improvements to the environment and faster service. Being Viet from San Jose, having lived in OC for a while, and parents who had a Viet restaurant, I can be pretty picky about my Viet food. I've tried most of the pho places in the South Bay now and can confidently say that this place has the best pho ga. The nem nuong and coffee are on point too. Haven't tried the other menu items yet, but based on the quality of what I had, it's legit enough that I would feel comfortable bringing my family members here vs having to chauffeur them all the way to Little Saigon. read more
