I haven't been here in a while and so approaching the restaurant midweek after normal lunch and before normal dinner hours , I didn't expect it to be busy and it wasn't. They did have a happy hour going on from 3 to 6 from which I ordered a couple appetizers. I got the potstickers, fresh tofu spring rolls,grilled corn and for my main i got chicken pho. The appetizers got to me REALLY quickly. Like a suspicious amount of time but who cares let's eat. Potstickers came out piping hot so that was great and I read it pretty high because they taste awesome especially with the hot sauce and the dipping sauce they provide. This fresh spring rolls extremely below average. I understand there's a difference between Vietnamese and Thai but the ones I have at Thai restaurants are just packed with so much color and different veggies versus this one was just a noodle and one flimsy piece of tofu. Corn i got Vietnamese style which was unique and taste, but I enjoyed it. It was a little bit on the oily side. Then came the issue and till this day, I'm confused on how they treated this matter so nonchalantly, but I go to get my pho and well there's a surprise. A little dead fly in my broth. I'm so glad I am prompted to look at my free prior to just digging in and I immediately told the server in which he very quickly and nonchalantly took it back and didn't offer me an option on if I would like the same thing on the refund and just brought me out a new one...... nice i guess? But I would've preferred to just get a refund because seeing that really killed the overall experience. Ordered Togo since I was in Vegas for 1 night. Plain chicken soup was very salty, steamed chicken was ok, ginger sauce for the chicken could use some improvement and the red rice was good. Thai tea was also ok. I may be a hard critique but I'm from LA and have been blessed with amazing food quality. The majority of my group had the vermicelli and more than half of us know what real Vietnamese food is and this was not it. The ones that aren't familiar with it said it was good so I'll give this place an extra star . The noodles were overcooked so it seemed slimy. Missing the basic vegetables and egg rolls don't automatically come with it like the actual Vietnamese restaurants would have the. The meats were tough to chew. When eating out, I prefer to not use my fingers to pull meat apart to be able to actually chew it in front of others. The spring rolls were missing basic ingredients as well and I wouldn't think that when it's pretty much double the price here. Would I come here again? Unfortunately, no. Waited a long time to finally get our food. When our pho arrived, the broth was tasteless. The waitress asked if we wanted chili oil but she never came back with our chili oil nor checked on us. She did not refill our water. One thing she did right was brought our bill at the end. This place lack customer service! Pho Kim Long satisfies my pho cravings every time. This is my usual go-to pho spot whenever I am in Vegas. I got the rare steak and brisket pho. Both meats were good and the broth was deep yet clean. I will say, the soup is a bit seasoned/salty so we didn't really need to dress our pho with that much hoisin sauce or sriracha. The large order was the perfect amount for two. First time at any Pho Kim Long and I was not disappointed! Pricing was a little high but not unexpected, and portions were decent sized. We started with the Thai tea and a strawberry lemonade, and both were delightful. Then we had the crab Rangoon and the spring rolls, and both were 10/10. My partner had the cold vermicelli salad with chicken and shrimp, and it was amazing. I had an egg fried noodle dish with gravy, which I hadn't had before and it was kind of weird but delicious nonetheless. The restaurant was clean and bright and quiet with a beautiful ambiance, and our server was quick and helpful and attentive, and someone came around to keep our waters full at all times. Your looking for my opinion... so here it is ( Pass on this one and find another one in the area ) Second attempt.....still not impressed, maybe skip this one if you're going for the food. Parking is kind of a pain. You have to park behind Element Hotel or somewhere else in the outdoor mall, and walk over. Ambiance was - fine, Service was - fine .... but overall, it just fell short. First, I don't like drinking from plastic cups for anything. I think it's cheap and disrespectful to the consumer... and they serve their patrons with plastic water glasses. That was my first red flag and should have known better the first time I came here. The Second as the Tea. I ordered tea and it was presented as a hot cup of water in a cafe style white mug, ... with the tea bag in the packaging. Do better Pho Kim Long... this is a VERY easy fix and is not ok by normal standards when trying to portray a high quality experience. I didn't have a great food experience or service experience the first time - so I figured I would hold off on my review until I gave them a fair shot. I'm glad I did so I could confidently post this review. The flavors and quality of the dishes are just not there. The flavors fell short in EVERY dish. Very Short. There was no layering or complexity that you would expect from a Pho type of restaurant... just one note all the way through. I think this place could really be something if they did a revamp of seasoning and did a flavor development with the post popular dishes...just saying. I like tendon but there was more tendon than other cuts of beef in there. The broth could've been a little more flavorful but it was still tasty. I recently visited Pho King Long and was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in. The place is shockingly gorgeous- color-changing bar, outdoor seating, plenty of TVs, and a really inviting atmosphere. Honestly, we chose this spot over Yard House because the smell from outside was absolutely divine, and I'm glad we did. I ordered the, vermicelli, and it was incredibly flavorful. We also tried the, BBQ spring rolls, which were so delicious that I'd come back just for those. For drinks, the Thai Tea was perfectly made--sweet, creamy, and refreshing. The only disappointment was the lychee mocktail, which didn't quite match the quality of the food. Our service overall was great and fast, but I think the servers might need just a bit more training when it comes to making mocktails. One thing I was really hoping for was mango sticky rice (I know it's Thai, but a lot of Vietnamese restaurants offer it!). Unfortunately, dessert options were limited to mostly cake-based choices like cheesecake, which doesn't work well for us gluten-sensitive folks. Even so, this place is cozy, modern, and surprisingly great for studying if you want something other than café food. We definitely plan to come back. I arrived around noon on a Monday and there was no wait for a table. It's nice and upscale inside was unexpected but in a good way. Service was attentive and courteous. I ordered the crab and shrimp tapioca noodle soup. It was such a delight! The broth was delicious and had some body. The shrimp were cooked just right. The crab meat disappeared into the broth when I mixed it but I didn't mind. The noodles were thick and had a nice bounce. Oh God, I came here five years ago and it was a terrible experience. Today I decided to give this place another chance and I wish they had proved me wrong. This place is just as bad as I remembered. My siblings and I showed up at 3 PM for lunch. For how nice the location is, this restaurant is a terrible addition to Town Square. Sorry, not sorry. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our order and bring us water. Not once did someone check in on us and ask about our dining experience. Attached is a photo of 3/4 of a meatball that they tried to charge us four dollars for. The noodles were overdone, the portions are very small, the bean sprouts look like they had been sitting out for hours, the limes are dry, the utensils felt dirty, shall I go on? This place has been my favorite pho spot in Vegas for a long time. This location is newer and located in Town square while the OG spot which is 24/7 is located in Chinatown. The indoor dining was nice but smaller than their other location. We came after the lunch rush so even with a big group we were seated right away. You can order anything off the menu and I can guarantee you it will be good. All of their appetizers are delicious but my favorites are the salt & pepper chicken wings or pork chop. Their pho is the perfect hangover cure. I get mine with brisket and tendon. The prices are affordable & you won't be disappointed. read more

My friend and I had came here for dinner one night after volunteering because her husband wanted to check out a shop nearby. This location is located on the northwest corner of Town Square, across from Yardhouse. Unlike the Chinatown location thats open from 8:00 AM - 2:30 AM, this one is open from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Upon entering, this location is WAY nicer than the Chinatown location. There is a decent sized glass-walled wine storage by the entrance and a large backlit counter bar area that takes maybe 1/3 of the restaurants space. Despite that, the restaurant was SURPRISINGLY empty. With 2 other parties present when we arrived but soon had left by the time we got our food. While my friend and I had both ordered BUN BO HUE (Spicy Beef? Noodle Soup), her husband got a PHO TAI (rare steak). Unsure why is everyone changing the BUN BO HUE to only beef. It's supposed to be beef and pork. Sad there wasn't pig feet. Flavor of the broth was a bit plain as well. They DO give you a side of chili paste which was nice. Service was ok. I use to go to Pho Kim Long in Chinatown (Spring Mountain) often so I was very excited to see they opened up a new location in Townsquare. The girls and I were craving pho for our girls night dinner and chose this location since the Chinatown's parking is always madness. First off- the ambience was such a better vibe for a girls dinner compared to the 1st location. They have a full bar and it's definitely a more modern style. We came for Happy Hour on a Friday night and they were surprising slow - the rush started to come in after 6pm (once happy hour ended). Happy Hour is everyday from 3PM-6PM & 9pm-Closing. The service was great - our server was Mann and he made sure to constantly check on us and made sure to take care of us if we needed anything. As for the food- I will say the Pho was not their best dish (hence why I removed 1 star) but everything else we ordered was delicious. We started off with the Salt + Pepper Chicken Wings and Cream Cheese Rangoons. We loved the chicken wings so much we placed an order for to-go - I will say, the to-go order was not as good as when it freshly came out at dine-in. Now for the pho, I ordered the rare steak + brisket pho (large) - the portion size was good but the broth lacked a bit of flavor IMO. The pho was missing something and just did not taste the same as the Chinatown location from what I remembered so maybe they just had an off day but I'd be willing to come back and try it again. I'm gonna start off by saying we ordered through grubhub. I got the roasted cornish hen & seasoned rice.. Honestly, I didn't know what I was expecting but it wasn't whatever this taste is-- nothing. it came with the usual sweet vinegar sauce and in my opinion, it just doesn't belong together. It's to the point i'm disappointed, I lost my appetite (also my mistake for thinking it was gonna be crispy fried when it literally says right there-- roasted lol) I know sometimes the food quality varies depending on location, so I'd say with this one that's probably the case? I hope? cus I've tried Chinatown location both dine in and through delivery, and it's good.
