My family and I were at T&T Supermarket to check out their new market. However, the line was incredibly long. My daughter was hungry, so we decided to eat pho at this restaurant which is nearby. They have various appetizers too like takoyaki, shrimp tempura, and Taiwanese popcorn chicken. I'm all for the variety. Popcorn chicken comes with a generous amount of basil but missing the signature spice for popcorn chicken. My 2 year old loves it so I guess that's a win. We are excited to try the new pho place opened up recently so near to us. Came for an early dinner a couple of days ago and had a good experience. The place is clean with high ceiling, ordering was easy with the ipad and the two young staff were friendly and provided good services. We ordered a combo pho, a meat ball + rare steak pho and one order of crispy egg rolls to share. Food delivered within minutes after ordering. Both of the pho orders came hot with good amount of protein which we liked, they could be a little more generous with the condiments. One thing I noticed with my sensitive taste buds was the slight sour note in the broth instead of slightly sweet taste in most of the other pho eateries. The egg rolls were fried crispy which we enjoyed but a little oily. Over all it was a decent experience especially considering the good service and convenience location. read more

This place was a 10/10! The pho was incredibly flavorful, and they were very generous with the toppings, which made it even better. The service is a little different since you order through a tablet, so there isn't much interaction with the staff. However, every time they brought out our food, they made sure to ask if we needed anything else, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel well taken care of. The restaurant itself is very clean and well kept, the environment is nice. The drinks were just as impressive. The strawberry slush was packed with flavor, and I also got a lychee peach tea with a jasmine tea base (not pictured), which was absolutely delicious. It was refreshing and had the perfect amount of flavor. We also ordered a Thai tea, and it was one of the best I've had. We were looking for some Vietnamese food, and Pho Kitchen had 4+ stars so we decided to give it a try. Service/Ambiance 4 stars: It has a casual strip mall restaurant nice ambiance, and it was very clean (they use Lysol disinfectant to wipe the tables). We were seated quickly, and the service was immediate and friendly. We ordered our food from a tablet, but they also provided a physical menu, which was appreciated, and our order was delivered promptly. Food 3 stars: was good, but not great. There are ~100 food items and ~50+ beverages on the menu, which are WAY too items many to prepare all of them well. - Taiwanese Basil Popcorn Chicken was very well seasoned and the crispy fried basil was a nice touch, but the breading was so "crispy" it cut the roof of my mouth and the chicken itself was very chewy. - Bbq Pork Vermicelli Salad had lots of fresh veggies, and the bbq pork was very tasty, but the vermicelli noodles themselves were pretty thick and served really warm. Bbq Chicken and Shrimp Vermicelli Salad had the same fresh veggies and warm noodles, the bbq chicken was tasty, but there were only 2 shrimp (mentioned in another review, and there are other photos of this dish with 2 shrimp). All 3 of looked at him like deers in the headlight, ummm we have no idea how to order with one of those and we are not about to learn how either "lol" he was very kind and told us that he would come back when we were ready and order for us. I ordered the barbecue pork and fried eggroll vermicelli with extra fish sauce, wifey and my friend ordered the Korean barbecue steak. The vermicelli came in a nice stainless steel bowl and was very very good, the barbecue pork had a wonderful grilled flavor and the egg rolls were light and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I asked for extra fish sauce and they gave me plenty (so good) I love that umami flavor ;-) Both my wifey and my friend loved the barbecue steak, I tried some of my wife's steak and must say the flavor was wonderful. I'm not sure why they weren't busy, maybe it's because they're still kind of new in the area. Honestly this place is really really good and they give you plenty of food too. My only complaint is that they offer you a free drink if you give them a 5 star review. I feel that that will lead to misleading reviews just so a person can get a free drink. So because of that I am giving them 4 stars, NOTE I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM 5 STARS. But I'm just letting them know that some people can't be bought even when I was actually going to give you a 5 star review. We randomly came across Pho Kitchen on Yelp and decided to give it a try after reading a couple reviews. We visited on a Friday evening, a little after 5pm and the place wasn't too packed yet, but a lot more people began coming in around 5:30-5:45pm. What was ordered: + seafood combination with fresh noodles - I enjoy fresh noodles (these were an additional $1 charge) but the noodles were cooked a bit too soft. The seafood combination is meant to be a chicken broth but I think with all the seafood in it, the chicken soup lost its flavor. They gave a good amount of imitation crab, shrimp and fish balls so that was a plus. + braised short rib noodle soup - I enjoyed the broth more in this dish and it came with two ribs that were cooked well and fell off the bone fairly easily. I'd recommend this one if you're planning to visit. + popcorn chicken - reminded me a lot of what you'd get at a Quickly's, the breading was alright and it came with a sweet and sour sauce. They were generous with the basil! The restaurant itself is clean and the staff members are polite. We noticed that Yelp is showing a "No tipping" policy, but that wasn't the case. When you go to the register to pay, there is an option to tip so that was a little strange. Overall, a decent place with your general Bay Area pho pricing. read more

Came here as a big family group and I would say that service was excellent because they accommodated to all of the different needs that we had in their various things that came up like getting small bowls for kids or adding extra onions or adding extra appetizers. So we ordered a lot like a couple bowls of pho and two spring rolls and two egg rolls and I ordered the free range chicken for for $16-$18 per bowl. This was on the medium price range but the quality that you get and the type of food was just really well done. I will say that the one dish that was shining that everyone loved was the crispy eggrolls that was not given in the traditional sense of lettuce wraps, but they gave you a sweet-and-sour sauce and they were fried to perfection. I want to rave about my free range chicken because it was not those regular chunks of chicken meat that were tough, but it was thin, sliced white meat chicken that matched really well with a thick broth that was chicken based and really taste flavorful with the onions. The ambience overall is pretty modern and clean. I would say overall this was a great spot that I would come again. read more

This is a pho spot with a host of other Vietnamese appetizers, salads, sandwiches, desserts and plates. **AMBIANCE: small place but interiors are well done. They went for an industrial look with gray bare cement style walls, lighting etc. ***FOOD: they have some interesting menu options that I previously did not see in Vietnamese restaurants like fried potstickers and hotdogs. We got- Chicken fried potstickers:4.5/5: definitely a guilty pleasure but I had to try it. The decadent potstickers were topped with some chilli oil/sauce. The inside was still soft and outside was sufficiently crispy. Thankfully they didn't over fry the potstickers and make the wrap tough. Chicken vermicelli plate with rolls: 4/5: the chicken had a delicious flavor and was perfectly cooked. The veggies and vermicelli were fresh. Easily one of the better plates of vermicelli I had in a long time. We got it with the rolls though. I highly doubt they were homemade rolls, they seemed like the generic store bought variety and were very greasy. I didn't try the pho but will definitely be back for that! read more
