The yelp-ers here were right... excellent pho-gasmic experience!! Here's the story: my friend and I wanted to play catch up but we both live hella far from each other. So we decided to meet up halfway in Vacaville, which honestly doesn't have much other than shopping at the outlets and a lot of fast food places. While scavenging for restaurants to eat, I realized how little options the city has outside of the chains... but then I stumbled upon this place, and my stomach was hungry for some pho! As others have said, the pho here is REALLY good! The restaurant is very spacious and has some interesting decor. They accept cards here, but still have an ATM available if you want to withdraw some. My friend and I were seated right away and our waiter offered us lemon iced-water and even hot tea (a definite plus). The prices here are cheap! The X-Large pho combo that is usually listed as #1 with all the different meats was only $6.75... very nice price! I ordered just that. My friend ordered a smaller bowl of pho that she said was also really good. We ordered some fried egg rolls, which were delicious (you get 4 of them; cut into twos). The total ended up being around $18 for the both of us, which is really cheap for a nice hot bowl of pho and some egg rolls. When we first walked into the restaurant, we were hit with the stuffy pho-scented air. It wasn't like a pleasant kind of aroma, more of a heavy, old smell. I guess they don't have AC or some kind of ventilation system, as every time the door opened it would feel good to have some fresh air come in. The pork chops over rice plate was okay. It came with some vegetables (lettuce, cucumber) and pickled carrots and daikon. The pork chop was decent, it had enough flavor and some parts were more tender than others. The rice was pretty dry and hard. The vegetables and pickled veggies were good. The broth that came with the order smelled so bad when it was brought to us. My mom and I ordered fresh spring rolls to share as an appetizer and then we both had pho. I ordered mine without the meat and had a very plain bowl of noodles - you'd think by now places like this would offer shrimp pho... Anyway, the flavor of the pho was delicious but the ambiance of the place was a bit off. Wow, the words I want to use to describe this sorry excuse of a restaurant haven't even been invented yet. Walked in on a what was supposed a nice Monday afternoon turned into the exact opposite. Walked in a man who was looked like he was in the middle of his lunch to abruptly say "here or to go?" Confused, I said, hello, I am looking to dine in today, do you have space for 2 customers? He then proceeded to point his finger in just the left direction of the restaurant which I am assuming it means open seating? After we sat, we waited for what seemed like an eternity, the owner then returned and swiftly and what appeared to be semi aggressively taking our order. The food was at most mediocre, even got charged for extra lime which I have never heard of before. The problem was upon the register, the owner charged extra without an explanation, upon questioning his charges, he blamed inflation and I pointed out on the menu it did not reflect that. In what appeared to be a moment of rage he began throwing a fit, throwing menus off the table after he was proven incorrect that the menu did not reflect his added-on charges. Very immature owner, childish actions, on top of not being able to admit when he's wrong even the proof is slapped in his face. I would recommend driving down a mile and getting sonics. I have just moved to the area and was looking for a new Vietnamese restaurant to go to. I've ordered a few times here and was content. But recently, they have been messing up my last 3 orders. One time they forgot to include the fresh herbs and vegetables that usually come with any pho soup. Last time I've ordered, I decided to use DoorDash and ordered a soup w thinly sliced beef and tendons with a side of their house made chili oil. When My order was delivered I found out it was missing the tendon AND chili oil. Also orders a medium and received what appears as small. The food was ok. The server was extremely unwelcoming and passive aggressively racist towards us while taking our order. We also came in an hour and thirty before closing and were immediately and repeatedly reminded of closing time throughout the duration of our meal. A different woman who brought the pho to our table carried it with her thumb in the broth. The server messed up a handful of things and returned with more passive aggressive comments. Hands down the best pho restaurant ever! We have the same business chain in Fairfield but Vacaville location is so much better! The gentleman that works there at the register also helped us with our order. He was very sweet and friendly. We ordered the small bowls of #13, #23, and 4 orders of #A3 (fresh spring rolls). Yes! 4 orders of their Fresh Spring Rolls. They're thee best and very fresh. It was made fresh, not pre-rolled and their peanut sauce is perfect! As for the pho bowls, they were absolutely delicious! The broth was outstanding and everything with it was superb! Their serving sizes for the soups are pretty huge, therefore the small size bowl; but even the small size we had to take it to go. On top of that, the gentleman who was serving us, always topped our water and made sure that everything was going well unlike the one in Fairfield. And it's convenient they have a atm machine inside by the restaurant in the event you needed cash however they do accept cards. Nem nuong cuon rolls- the nem was crispy and it just went to well with everything and the sauce was delicious. We loved it so much we ate it so quick! Hieu tieu dai- it was delicious with so much flavoring, I was impressed! Loved it and craving for some more as I'm writing this yelp. Pho Lee Hoat Phat is a hidden gem for UC Davis students! This restaurant is probably the best and //closest// Pho place near UC Davis that I'll make the sacrifice in driving if I don't want to go to Sac. I've only gotten their usual pho orders, but it's pretty much a standard pho shop! They execute their orders quickly and their flavoring is much like the Pho places I've had back in the Bay area. If I'm feeling extra adventurous, I usually order their smoothies, either Avocado or Durian, which always pairs up great with the hot noodle soups. The restaurant is tucked away in an empty parking lot and is easy to miss when driving down the street. The cool thing about the plaza where Pho Lee Hoa Phat is located is that there is also a medium-sized Asian grocery market right across from it, where I always end up wandering around inside to get rid of the my post-pho coma. read more

I absolutely love this pho place, however it's been hit and miss lately. The new floor they put in is absolutely disgusting. Cringe worthy disgusting. You would never know they got new flooring. They are not cleaning this place like they should, which makes me concerned about the food and kitchen. The food is good, however the A8 peanut sauce was weird the other day. The bean sprouts are looking brown and not so fresh a lot more then usual, and are saturated in water. If you order To-go they put the meat in a baggie then on top of the noodle and it leaks blood all over your noodles. I hate that! They raised prices and have now cut corners and not cared as much. Please clean this place and care as much as others do. Also, I have seen staff members go from the kitchen to the bathroom with a glove on and come out with it on. Ummm- You just went to the bathroom. Remove the glove, wash your hands and return to work and get a new glove! Also don't ever use the oil based tomato dish on the table. This my favorite viet restaurant in town mainly because a few of their bobas are made from real fruit and not powder (coconut, jackfruit and maybe more) and they have a lot of variety that's always consistent. A lot of their rice plates comes with a variety of items that you can choose from. My favorite is the fried shrimp pate (also comes as an appetizer) which is not available at a lot of other viet restaurants. If you order the spring rolls they come pretty quick. I also like that this restaurant give you little size water cups since sometimes we don't finish it and it's a waste of water. They leave the dishes and trash on the table until the last minute and they absolutely have to clean it for the next group. The service was mediocre -- after the brought us our food, they never checked back with us. But, they were very friendly and personable. Despite my negativity, my pho was delicious. It was scortching hot (just the way I like it) and it definitely hit the spot. I have had better eggrolls but they sufficed for the time being. My husband and I repeated it to the server and when they finally handed it which was 45 mins after we ordered it. They still screwed up the order and still charged for two drinks that had plenty of ice. It may be very petty to others but the owner responded rudely and said he can't do that. Each order of coconut juice needs a full cup of ice. He crushes the ice in his blender. How hard is that? My husband said just ignore it. I ignored that they forgot our order for the drinks.
