My wife and I came in on a cold, foggy Saturday evening looking for something warm to eat and Pho Lee Hoa Phat did not disappoint. I got the #1 Special Combo Pho Soup and my wife got #26 Seafood w/ Egg Noodle Soup. Both were nice and hot which helped warm our chilled bodies. Decor and service is pretty on par with most Vietnamese restaurants. They have good food overall, I do like the broth at another Vietnamese restaurant in Fairfield better.

THIS IS THE ONLY RECENT REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ TO DECIDE IF YOU SHOULD EAT HERE OR NOT. 1. Easy to find / Plenty Parking / Clean restaurant 2. Easy menu 3. ** FAST ** And when I say fast: Sat down in seconds. (Plenty seats, busy, not a problem). Got our order taken in seconds. (Ordered spring roll appetizer) - took 3 mins before it came. (Ordered Large Pho + Vermicelli noodle beef plate) - 6 mins. + They do not waste time and will get your food. 4. AMAZING TASTE! My girlfriend does not usually finish a medium size pho but she finished this large one. Result: 10/10 , this made our date night feel complete and satisfied. Definitely will come back here again.

This place is really good!! Seemed very authentic. Looked for a pho place for family dinner and this was a perfect spot. Flavors were definitely there, food was tasty & fast service. I'd come back :)

The pho ga here was perfection! The broth was well balanced and not too salty. The chicken also tasted fresh! I ordered a side of vinegar onions and the tanginess of them paired perfectly with the pho. My partner ordered the beef pho and the broth was good. However the cinammon and sweet flavor were a bit overpowering for me. I much preferred the chicken pho. I will definitely come back here!

From the first bite, I could tell this place was different. The bread had that perfect crisp on the outside while still being soft inside, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything came together really well. You can tell they actually care about the quality of the food here. I've tried quite a few banh mi spots around the area, and this is easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The flavors were balanced, the portions were great, and the sandwich didn't feel thrown together like a lot of places do nowadays. It hit the spot without trying too hard. What I also appreciated was how simple and authentic everything felt. No gimmicks -- just really good food done right. If you're anywhere around Fairfield or Vacaville and craving a good banh mi, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. Glad to finally have a go-to spot in the area.

My compatriot got the grilled pork and egg roll bun. Both of the banh mi were ok. Needed more flavor or better spread since it just didn't cut it. Was just bland otherwise on both fronts. Also, extras added? Missing for both so probably wouldn't get delivery again if I can't customize. The fried chicken was good and cooked well. Good seasoning and crunch. Still a miss in my opinion overall.

(I also paid using the online services, but I did see someone paying in person.) I was drawn to Bazar Eatery when I saw they had Laksa; I ordered the Seafood Laksa. Ever since I had it in Singapore, I've been hoping to find somewhere that serves this soup. It was nice to find somewhere that serves it, but it doesn't compare to the flavor of the laksa I had in Singapore. (Maybe it's a different variant of the dish, but I preferred the more coconut heavy broth flavor that I had over there.) I still enjoyed this dish overall though. I also tried the Hainanese Chicken. It really wasn't anything amazing, but this could be due to the dish being served with regular, white rice; they had run out of turmeric rice for the day. I also had the kumquat sparkling drink. The menu notes it's sour, but I didn't think it was overly so. It was still more sweet than sour in my opinion. I enjoyed the drink, and it tasted like they used real fruit rather than artificial syrups. I think the portions are a bit small, particularly in the case of the Hainanese Chicken, but it's nice that they served complimentary shrimp chips. Service came off as genuinely welcoming/friendly, even if we weren't checked on after the food came out.

We frequent the Vietnamese restaurant, but never really think about going to Tom Yum Goong until today. We were originally going to Pho Lee Hoa Phat for dinner, but when we walked up I asked my son if he want to eat Thai instead which he and my wife decided they wanted to eat instead of Vietnamese. Ambiance (3.5/5 stars): first impressions when we walked in is that it is dark and needed more lighting. After sitting down, I noticed that one side of the restaurant was full of random antique items. I overheard someone asking them about the antiques and the owner said that her husband buys the antiques at estate sales, etc and that they are open to offers to purchase them. There are some Thai decor in the restaurant. Older 70's/80's music was playing in the background so it didn't feel like being in a Thai Restaurant especially with all the American antiques on one side of the restaurant. There are a handful of tables (seating for 4 people), but they do have room for larger parties. Food (4.5/5 stars): We really enjoyed our food. They had great flavors. The portion size was not big, but the price also reflected the smaller portion size compared to other Thai restaurants in town. Dishes: - Mango Salad: nice chunks of mango, mixed with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onions, mint, cilantro, carrots, cashews, shrimp and the chef's special mango sauce. It was a nice refreshing dish and was once of our favorite dishes that we ordered today. - Super Pad Thai w/ Chicken: flavorful, authentic Pad Thai flavors - Moo Yang (B.B.Q. Pork): nice tasting grilled pork with sweet chili dipping sauce - Pad Ka Prow (Pad Basil - Beef): nice flavor, had a lot of green beans (not usually in Pad Ka Prow), but I liked the flavors. I always welcome extra veggies. Service (4/5 stars): The waitress/owner was very nice and was pretty attentive overall. She was the only one waiting tables and with take out orders as well as helping some in the kitchen. She came by a few times to check on us and refill our waters. It was a slow night for dinner (~7pm, Friday), only one other table eating and 2 take out orders while we were there, so not sure how the service would have been if they were busy. Food came out relatively quick. Tom Yum Goong is a kind of hidden in Vacaville. They have great tasting food and would be much busier at a better location. They do have smaller portion sizes, but prices do reflect that. Between Vacaville and Fairfield, I feel Vacaville's Thai restaurants are much tastier than any in Fairfield and Tom Yum Goong is no exception. If you are craving some good Thai food, give them a try. You might even find a piece of antique that you may want to purchase.

Crispy chicken fried rice - 10/10, chicken was juicy and super crispy, paired with two different sauces (1) some sort of creamy mayo aioli (2) sweet chili sauce; i personally preferred the sweet chili sauce.
