The online ordering is untrustworthy. I placed my order online through yelp, as that is what they have advertised. I paid online and we went to pick up. When we went up to grab our order, the first cashier was extremely rude. I told him I had a pickup, gave him my name and he immediately told me I was lying. I tried to show him my order on my phone and he refused to look at it and literally walked away to the back. My order was $50, so I wanted my food or a refund. A nicer person came out next, but he still started off blaming me, insinuating that I was lying again. This time I pulled my bank statement up, which luckily said the name of the restaurant, and he finally realized he was in the wrong. Turned out the restaurant turned off the online ordering system early, so they never even checked if my order had come in. We watched him turn the iPad on and lo and behold, there was my name and order on the screen. The second person to help did his best to recover the situation. He upsized our portions and offered us some free Tai Tea. After that, I decided a bad review wasn't warranted after all since the second cashier had good customer service and deescalation skills. When we got home and opened the food, my mind changed again. After being called a liar and nearly being scammed out of $50, when we went home to eat this food, it was uncooked. The broth was cold for both soups. Not warm, cold. My boyfriend got the beef noodle soup and all the beef was raw. After spending $50 on a meal that we nearly did not get, we had to go home and cook it all ourselves. The only reason I wanted pho was because I was sick with the flu. Pickup was a lot easier than making a meal at home in my state. Worst pho experience I have ever encountered. I will never come back to this place, which makes me sad, because I was curious how the dine-in atmosphere would be. I am no longer curious and will be sure to explicitly state this place as a definite no, when my friends ask me for pho recommendations. If you're looking for some delicious, warm and cooked food, with good vibes, skip this place. It's not at all worth the cost or public humiliation. read more

I keep hearing about how good this place is so it's time to give it a try. My family from out of state enjoyed the meal but I find it a bit better than average pho, not very good. The price of the pho is fine but the drinks including milk tea are ridiculously overpriced - like $7-8 bucks!!! Ways too expensive. Also, the pho didn't have a lot of meat and more of the noodles. I've reviewed this place before, and I believe I've already given it 5 stars. A good chunk of my family members go here for their $6 bowl of tendon and broth. Haha! They are in their 80s and still think they can consume their collagen through this bowl and wake up looking younger. I must say, they look pretty good for their age. I'm sure it's an Asian thing. I'm just their driver. When I drive them, I eat for free! So of course I love it here. I always get the pork bowl with the egg rolls and noodles. That's a winner. read more

My favorite location is the HB one but my parents regularly get take out from this location. Parking is super easy in the giant strip mall where it's located, next to 85 degree bakery. I have gotten take out while waiting for my drink order at 85 degree. Service is okay but I still prefer the hb location more. Food is uniform I think across all pho lovers locations but to me the customer service is the added touch that differentiates the experience for me. This is my second spot compared to the pho lovers on bolsa, which has the least favorite option for parking because it is too congested down that way. read more

I'm not sure why this place is rated so low, because it's an overall great spot for solid pho. It's located in a popular strip mall with plenty of parking, which makes it super accessible. The pho is delicious, and their other dishes are just as good--especially the vegetarian stir-fries and spring rolls. What really stood out to me was the peanut sauce. It's one of the best I've had: super aromatic and well balanced. Most places just mix hoisin sauce with peanut butter, but this one seems to add garlic oil, which gives it such a rich depth of flavor. I'm definitely taking inspiration from that sauce for my own cooking moving forward. read more
