French Style Beef Steak with Hot Pot Rice

Yumm!! I saw pics on Yelp of the bo luc lac over crispy chow mein so has to try it out. It's in the order of a plaza and right on the street so easy to find. Big parking lot so lots of parking. We came on a sat afternoon but surprisingly it was not busy. We came during off hours so possibly that's why it wasn't busy. Got seated right away. There are 2 locations so not sure how the otter location is. I ordered the bo luc lac with crispy noodles and it was so good!! It comes with a complimentary tea. My bf really like it too that we ended up eating all of it there. I also ordered the bo luc lac with crispy rice To-go for the next day, which was also really good. It goes really well with their sauce.

Our family "go to" for noodles... mostly the "BBQ pork wonton noodles" and "chow fun (dry)! So good

Ordered a soup noodle to go. There was barely anyone there at 8 p.m. on a Sunday so there should be no rush. After finishing the bowl did I see this piece of rusty metal at the bottom. Not sure what it is a part of, but this should not have happened. Highly disappointed in this restaurant as I've never had this situation happen before, ever. Won't be coming back, and everyone should be wary.

    Dac Biet Beef Noodle

I got here a little before lunch on a Saturday, the parking lot is huge but was full. I came for the beef noodles Dac Biet it a house special. The service was very accommodating and helpful so the little bit of language barrier was comfortable. The dish took no more than 10 min. I guess since I was at that time one of the only ones in there, however it started filling up as I was eating. The Dac Biet was really good the meat super tender with bean sprouts and green onions a very tasty dish, I highly recommend. This was a nice little discovery amongst so many restaurants in this area. I will come back just for the free Vietnamese ice tea.

    Salmon with Fried Rice

My boss brought me here after I gave her a ride to an appointment. We got the salmon with hot pot rice. The salmon was perfectly fried and the hot pot rice was crispy and delicious as well. It came with two dipping sauces. A thicker gravy like sauce and then a spicy soy sauce like sauce. I ate every single bite!!!!! You get a free order of nuoc mat which is an artichoke and pandan tea which is delicious!

My go to dishes are: Com ca Salmon Pho ap chao Mi Luc Dinh Ky I've been going here for years and it's hasn't changed one bit. Good comfort Vietnamese food. They give free nouc mat, a cold sweet chrysanthemum tea, which is really refreshing.

my uncle brought me & my boyfriend to try pho for the first time. after paying my uncle went to use the restroom and me and my boyfriend decided to wait outside. while waiting outside one of the lady who sat us down came outside and asked why we didn't tip and if we plan on leaving one. I told her we didn't pay how my uncle paid for us but I don't carry cash, she went back inside to ask the person who charged my uncle if we left a tip and because of the situation my boyfriend and I felt super uncomfortable and ended up going to the car to wait for my uncle. their behavior was unacceptable and definitely ruin our experience! we definitely won't be coming back!

Yelpers, and Public, please inspect your food at all times before consumption at Luc Dinh Ky Restaurant. I repeat "Please inspect your food at all times before consumption at Luc Dinh Ky Restaurant. Found hair on First and Second Bowl of Pho Soup, plus two Forks and a Spoon in it. My family and I are Mexican, and love Pho Soup. We been going to a different Vietnamese restaurant for years and on Friday November 15, 2024 we decided to try Luc Dinh Ky Restaurant for the first time. We walked into Luc Dinh Ky Restaurant at around 8:30 pm, and we waited for directions from staff as to where to sit. So the waitress pointed out a table but her demeanor was not pleasant. We sat and after that everything was really unexpected. My family and I felt very unwelcomed here, the environment here was not pleasant at all. So the waiter came to our table like if he was in a rush placed the menus and left. He came back minutes after to take our order, and as we were almost done ordering I said "and to Drink we want Sprite and.." he interrupted me by saying Free and another word in Vietnamese and left me talking. The waiter came back with some iced tea that I didn't order and left again. Came back for the third time with our Pho and placed it on the table in a rush and left. As I was about to eat the soup I found a long hair on my Pho Soup. So I turned and he was standing few feet away, and politely called him and showed him the hair on the soup and asked him to please correct the mistake. So he took the bowl of soup to the kitchen and comes back with a bowl of soup and placed on the table and left. So for the second time I stirred the bowl of soup and the hair was still there. I called him for the second time showed him again, and politely told him that I was not going to eat that and to take that back. He ignored me left the bowl of soup on the table. During this time he never apologized for anything. It took about 5 minutes for a women to come to our table and apologize, offered another bowl of soup at no cost, so I explained to her that by that time my family and I were already disgusted. So we paid for all the food we ordered minus the bowl of soup. We are not going back to Luc Dinh Ky Restaurant ever again! It was terrible! We suspect that this is more of a race/discrimination situation. They wanted to make sure we don't go back there ever again and they got what they wanted. Please don't be deceived by the good reviews!

    Love this place!

Lots of parking. Food comes out fast and always hot! They always treat us like family. We've been coming here for 10+ years and don't plan to stop coming anytime soon!

I ordered the house special soup yellow noodle and the chicken soup rice noodle. The meats they gave us looked dried and old. I would not recommend this place since there are many options in the area. Plenty of parking in the lot. They do take credit card but will charge a fee.

The pork patties were my favorite, and although there were plenty of the grilled pork, many of them were pieces with a lot of fat. That was my only gripe about it. Now about the hu tieu, which came with all the delicious bbq pork, shrimp, shredded chicken, fried garlic and onions, lightly dressed in an oh so delicious sauce. For me, the sauce was actually the star. Mix everything together and get yourself one delicious bite, filled with so much flavor. The accompanying broth on the side was great as well, with hints of dried shrimp reminiscent of a really good HK wonton noodle soup broth. Highly recommend this place!!

It comes served piping HOT so be careful! We also had the bun cha ha noi which is a very traditional Northern Vietnamese Nanoi dish. It has grilled pork patties and pork belly in a sweet savory fish sauce served with fresh herbs and cold rice vermicelli. You pretty much eat it by wrapping it with the lettuce or dip your noodles into the sauce. Very authentic and delicious without being overly heavy. There isn't much service here since they seem to be super short staffed but they do have delicious authentic Northern Vietnamese food so we absolutely will be back again!

Mama Hieu's started out during COVID and was a small business that was selling plates from the house and due to all of their success, opened up two brick and mortar locations! The box came with 7 wings and two scoops of rice and your choice of sauce. We got the Mama Sauce, which was a mayo like sauce. We didn't know what the Andy's Special flavor tasted like, but the workers explained that the flavor is similar to Vietnamese style crab (cua rang). So like oyster sauce, garlic, fish sauce like flavor; sticky. It was hella good!!! No need to dip in the side sauce either. Their fried chicken comes in many unique flavors like salted egg yolk and fish sauce. We weren't really feeling the garlic noodles; come here for the fried chicken box with rice instead!
