My husband and I used to eat here often, one of our to go places since we lived in Frisco but today, I was disappointed on my door dash order. I ordered a banh xeo. My dasher handed me my order and the food was exposed. The dasher even gave me the weird look, saying that the restaurant told him to have the box opened. This was concerning to me. My friend suggested going to this place because when dining in the area previously, she said the pho smelled so good from outside. First time getting the iced thai tea, it's longhorn orange, I was a little surprised but it tasted fantastic. I'll get the iced thai tea each time I come here now it's so refreshing. Service is average, you get your food fast but most of the staff don't check on you until you're ready to pay. We have been very cognizant of where we go in the time of Covid. With the past week's snow and ice stress, we needed the comfort of Pho Mac as soon as it was possible for us to leave. We ordered via their website. They have several options: Regular Take-Out, Curbside Pickup, or Delivery (within a range). Unfortunately, we are nowhere near their delivery zone. So curbside it was! On their site you get to choose what time slot you want, either ASAP or in the future, and add your car's description. Once you arrive in your time slot, simply call them to let them know and they'll bring it out. Simple as that! Now we've ordered curbside from a lot of places and sometimes it doesn't go very smoothly, but this went off without a hitch. We ordered our usual, plus a few extras. I wanted to try their tofu egg rolls but also ordered our usual pork egg rolls. Normally these aren't items that travel well because fried. I was concerned, especially the distance we had to drive, but they were still piping hot and crispy! We both also ordered white meat chicken pho. Large containers of broth come with a separate container with the chicken and noodles. Grab a big bowl and dump! They gave us a large portion or extra fixings such as basil, limes, bean sprouts, cilantro, and various sauces. Everything was still nice and warm. Overall, highly recommended still. I got the beef pho option and love that it includes 3 types of beef you can include. I got the brisket, fatty brisket, and meatballs. All really good meat. The broth was what made it though. My son lives in McKinney and in his opinion this is the best spot on that side of town. It's ok but I've definitely had better pho. Now I will say the staff is great which in my books is a plus.
