I've lived in Martinez for 2 years and saw a Pho place a mile or two away from home. My sister told me about it and I had to check it out. I ordered food to go. It was packaged perfect, the broth separate from the noodles and the fixings that you put in on the top. The temperature was perfect. I didn't order ahead and it only took a few minutes. They have appetizers, Beef & Chicken Noodle Soups, Beef Stew, Rice Plates, Rice Vermicelli and Vietnamese Sandwiches. Smoothies too. Excellent service and fantastic food. I'll be back.

Wow... wow wow wow. This place is absolutely delicious. I was craving Pho on this cold, rainy day so we decided to come to Pho May. We ordered the chicken pho, the beef pho, the banh mi, and the thai tea.. I'm absolutely stuffed. I couldn't stop eating. The banh mi was so good, the meat was cooked to perfection with no fatty parts. It was vinegary, and the baguette was toasted so perfectly. I added some things into my chicken pho and it was perfect. I finished all the noodles and I normally get full super quickly. I couldn't stop drinking the broth and eating the sandwich. The thai tea was also so good, I wish we got another one to go but I was nervous I wouldn't be able to sleep from the caffeine haha. I cannot wait to come back to this place. Definitely a family owned, small business. They had their kids around which I truly didn't mind. This place is a must try.

Really delicious Pho. Beef broth was not greasy as it has been at other Pho establishments. Ordered the Brisket, Beef Ball, and Flank Pho. Flavor was all there, adding lime at the end with just noodles adds even more flavor. Prices are very reasonable. I also like that there's one size of Pho, and not 3 different sizes. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food came out very quickly. Definitely going to come back here when im in the Martinez area.

I've been waiting for this to reopen and was so happy to see it open yesterday. Called in an order for pickup and the lady was super friendly on the phone and in person, too. This is the second pho place I've tried in Martinez (the first one closed last year and theirs was really basic, good but very minimal sides if any) so I liked this place a lot. They know how to make pho really well and it reminds me of the same quality abd style two old favorite pho places when I lived in Alameda/S.L. - Pho & Baguette on Central in Alameda (I think they've closed too) and Saigan II on Marina Blvd in San Leandro (An all-time fav). Yesterday I ordered and tried the pho Tai (rare steak) and Thai tea - both very good & I'll be back "pho" sure =) the inside was perfect to me..warm, friendly, homey, non-presumptuous. Like a diner-feel where you feel comfortable and welcome. I loved how they had Tom & Jerry playing on the TV, too.

Gimme a Beet 13 Da Treat 11…read more Today's special, buy any drink, get a freeway elixir. I'm beating a cold right now. I know Juice House has the right remedies for me. I love their juices. They're natural and each ingredient is intentional in keeping the body healthy. What I love about their service are the friendly staff and juice samples. Today, I got the Da Treat-- my sister's favorite. For my cold, I got Gimme A Beet-- beet, celery, carrot, turmeric, ginger, lemon. I asked Hayden, who's welcoming and easy to talk to, to recommend the best juice to fight a cold. She said anything with turmeric and ginger. I sampled Gimme A Beet. It was sweet with the right amount of kick, which will come out of nowhere. Thank you, ginger. For the free elixir, I chose Peace Up. I could have brought it home or have the shot there. I chose to have it there. Lowkey regret it though because its kicked effed me up for a bit. I had to sip that baby slowly. I asked for water after I finished it. This was worth it. All my mucus from my nose started loosening up. It did its job. This is a cute spot. It's meant to buy and go. There's a bench inside to wait or chill for a bit.

I definitely need to try the others but will definitely come get the Kale drink next time. As for the Honest wave coffee, it was good but also kind of flat. I tried mixing in some other creamers or so to make it better! They have a variety of milk flavors as well that I would try! This place is fairly small with no indoor seating so plan accordingly:) Ps. I love the glass bottles!

My husband arrived around 8:10 AM, after the store's posted opening time of 8:00 AM, only to find the business completely closed with no communication whatsoever. No call. No email. No cancellation notice. Nothing. What followed was somehow worse. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and left several voicemails that were never returned. I also emailed both the location and corporate customer service and received no response. Corporate didn't answer their phones either. All of this over a $35 order that the business happily charged for but never fulfilled. Today, I went into the store in person to ask for a refund and was met with attitude and defensiveness from the manager instead of accountability or even a simple apology. I was told they "do answer their phones" despite my multiple unanswered calls and voicemails. I was then told they could not issue a refund because it had been "more than two days," even though the delay was entirely caused by their complete lack of response and failure to handle the issue. The store being unexpectedly closed is frustrating enough. Ignoring customers afterward and then treating them poorly when they ask for their money back is unacceptable. I'm still waiting to hear from the "other manager" or "boss" who is supposedly able to process my refund. Who apparently already had my information but was "too busy" to respond to me sooner. Give me a break. At this point, it's not even about the $35. It's about the complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service.

I assume it's true because their cup sizing has changed which I'm sadly disappointed. It's more open space/spacious and I had to create a new rewards account. Drink menu names changed slightly on kiosk and on the wall. They don't have that tacky shelf with plush, stuff, Knick knacks, for sale anymore. Drink still good, I don't think recipe has changed. I heard, then seen it for myself, the instagram post and stories shared by friends, of people dancing and partying at the shop late nights after hours. Then when I went in, also still had the sign up that said they did dance concert or hosted DJ nights at the shop. But Im also assuming it was under the old management and they must've got caught something doing something illegal or something they weren't suppose to be doing. The minus one star is for the cup sizing. Bring it back! Main reason why I love coming here, a good price for big cup size. Now it's like every other boba shop. Which is fine, but I won't go out of my way to come get boba here like I used to.

This was my first time visiting them again since the ownership change so it's been a minute. What I see here now is just depressing, not just because the place was empty, but it's now devoid of anything that felt like a spot someone would want to hangout at. No music, when I got in there was one person waiting for their food and nobody was even at the front counter for minutes before somebody finally came out from the back. Ordering is just through the kiosk now, which isn't a bad thing. The part that was really rough was the reason why I even came here; the boba. I got a regular milk tea which now they only have a single size. I miss the extra large size they used to have, but oh well. The next issue comes with how much the boba actually costs. They may have gotten rid of the extra large cup sizes, but they're still charging the almost the same amount for it in a much smaller cup. What a deal, right? And we get to the actual drink. When the person making the drink after receiving your order finishes within a minute of making it, it's never a good sign. Why is that? Well, they had premade jug of milk tea ready to pour out for your tasting pleasure. When you have a premade jug of milk tea, it's never a good sign. While I've had them at other places that have done this before, and it's ranged from bad to mediocre, the one here at Milk Tea Lab, now, was in a word, rancid. It was incredibly gross with absolutely no redeeming qualities to it. I generally try not to be so harsh, but this was really not it and I couldn't even finish the boba because of how bad the milk tea was. It's sad to see how big of a dropoff this spot has become compared to what it used to be. This isn't like when they first opened where there were only 2-3 boba spots right next to them. Now there's at least a handful of options within a few minutes away, and dozens of spots within a mile or two, and this is what they're pushing out? It's a shame but this Milk Tea Lab which was their starter store is no longer a place I would ever go back to for boba. It's time is now past with this new ownership.

Literally to the last bite delicious. We all love the fries and Brussels sprouts. The frickles were also super tasty (loved the onions in there) but I wish there were a little more zucchini in there, and maybe a little thicker too. The shakes were legit. The coffee shake had a surprisingly bold coffee flavor. Delicious! The vanilla was also awesome. Overall this was one of the best spots we have been to in a while. We all left wanting to come back.
