Craving some stir fried chow fun and pho soup so after some research of the area found this little joint. Located in a strip plaza there is ample parking. Came after the lunch hour so there were no patrons. Lucky for me! Ordered a small brisket pho and chicken chow fun. The pho was pretty good but what I really enjoyed was the chow fun. The vegetables were not limp or soggy but crunchy. I didn't finish it and even when I took it home to reheat the vegetables were still crunchy. The noodles were a bit mushy but chewy enough. The amount of seasoning was good but the dish was a bit oily as expected for a stir fried dish. Fortunately the pho broth helped it go down. Aahhh... I got the pho mazing togo and it was so good. The broth is so flavorful and looks clear. My only iffy thought is how much msg they put into it, but the taste is great, all of the spices were woven into the broth well. The meat was soft and fell off the bone when you tore at it, also very flavorful. Only thing about food was the bean spouts they gave us looked aged tho, they were browned/yellowish, but the crunchy texture was still a bit there. The restaurant is kind of small and looks like any classic pho place, no modern decor. Service was good, cashier/waitress was fluent in English and nice. Would 100% come back for pho here. Haven't tried the other things, but pho is exceptional. read more

I am so happy to have found a new Vietnamese restaurant! My mom and I stopped in for a quick lunch and we were blown away! The service was above and beyond and I forgot to ask what the servers name was, she was amazing! She was efficient, knowledgeable, funny and also very detailed. My mom doesn't really like any of the toppings in her Pho (basil, bean sprouts, etc) so she asked her to not bring them/waste them. She thanked us because they try hard to reduce food waste, she explained that they use herbs from their own garden so they definitely don't want to waste them! She also let us know that they compost all discarded food items. Both of those things we would have never known if she didn't tell us and we loved it! We got the Rare Beef Pho and the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi. Pho meat was so tender and huge! The broth was flavorful and rich. My mom also loved that they give you little scissors . The Pork Bahn Mi was so good! The bread was crusty in the outside but soft in the middle, so easy to eat. Meat was tender and the bbq sauce/marinade was amazing! Veggies were cold and crisp. Found my new favorite Pho spot!! It was so good I went back twice in the same week! I tried their Pho combo soup and the broth is delicious and so flavorful! You get a good amount of noodles/meat . Always love cute lil mom & pop shops, and Pho Mazing is no exception!! Not the best pho I've ever had per se (if you want the best of the best, you'll have to head down to Garden Grove area), but it is still really good--probably one of the bests in the Brea/Fullerton area! The service is wonderful, too. My husband and I are always greeted warmly by the same lady (I think she might be the owner?), and she's so quick to bring waters to our table and see if we have any questions/check if we're ready to order. I wish I could love it more. I love the sassy yelp mom and her comments about the food/what people say but it just wasn't for me. My friend and I got the vermicelli now and the #1 and the food was.. okay. The pork belly vermicelli was good and had a lot of flavor. Some of the meat was just fat slices but some people dig that so we weren't complaining. My pho was interesting. The meat was good but the broth had an interesting smell to it that wasn't too pleasant. I couldn't drink the soup as it was too salty. I left most of the meal and only ate the back ribs. Was craving some Bun Bo Hue and didn't wanna drive the extra 30 minutes so I stopped by here to relinquish my craving. The restaurant is located in the same plaza as Taco Bell. Waitress was super SUPER sweet and saw her deal with a lot. The clientele that comes here are quite interesting to say the least. One table literally got up and said they were gonna leave and she dealt with it nicely, and another interesting duo that most likely came from the bar gave her quite a run for her money. She handled both those situations nicely. Food... the bun Ho hue (spicy beef vermicelli soup) was definitely Americanized and not your traditional bowl. Flavor was ok but definitely lacking the depth from the traditional shrimp paste and lemon grass flavors you'd get else where. Soup only came with sprouts and Thai basil which is NOT the traditional veggie assortment that comes with Bun Bo Hue, BUT we are in Yorba Linda and not Little Saigon. Clientele is gonna be different from there. Overall, ok. I also got a side of oxtail which usually accompanies pho, and that was absolutely great! The broth was excellent. You can taste all the cinnamon and other spices they had took the time to envelope into the broth!! If I were to ever come back, I would get the pho! Besides that nooo Bun Bo Hue for me! read more

Linh is great and we love the inviting nature this establishment brings. We always leave happy and full...we can't go anywhere else! In the menu, I chose the pho special that came with beef ribs. I had pho with the rib elsewhere but I want to see how it tastes. When the pho came out, I added the vegetables, but it was missing go gai. That's okay. Maybe only pho in Bolsa has these veggies. I immediately tasted the broth. It was great. I am sure it contained MSG but who cares? I want something good and it didn't disappointed. The pho noodles were good and there were plenty of meat. However, the rib was a bit chewy. There are plenty of great pho spots in garden grove, Westminster, LA, but if we're talking fullerton/ placentia/ yorba Linda area, this place takes the cake. I normally order the combo pho with egg rolls. Trust me, do not skip out on the egg rolls.
