Living in Gilroy I struggle to find a good Pho and Chinese place, thankfully this place was on Door Dash so we tried them out. SO good! When we feel under the weather I always crave Pho. We ordered egg rolls, pot stickers, Garlic noodles with filet & each got Pho (I got the rare steak and he got won ton and chicken) - it was ALL really good. The only thing was the filet was super rare, could have been a smidge more cooked. I had to heat up my daughter's to cook it a little more. Overall, great food and we'll try it again! read more

The pho broth was very ginger-y, there was hardly any of the raw beef in the raw beef pho, and ordered veggie pho without the ham and tofu and was given it anyway so many things couldn't be eaten. The take out order was not packaged well and just in general hard to eat-mostly broth and completely stuck together brick like overcooked noodles-one single thin sliced carrot and one single half mushroom with a few slices of cabbage and a large stick of some inedible herb. This is my 3rd time ordering from here. The 1st time we had shaken beef and it was great. The next 2 times we ordered pho. The portions were small when we ordered the soup the 1st time so I decided to order a large the 2nd time. The portions were not bigger. The noodles were the same amount and I honestly think I got less meat this time. The meat was also spoiled. Bright yellow, shiny, and had an unpleasant odor. The serving of onion/cilantro garnish was pathetic and the basil was wilting. I called to tell them about the meat and after a few moments listening to them yell at each other in the background, they offered to deliver more meat. I decided it wasn't worth it to me and hung up because I was annoyed at this point. They also didn't do a contactless delivery which was very disappointing. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I had lunch here on Monday around 1pm and found a cockroach in my soup. I let the lady know and she apologized and brought me a new bowl. I didn't want to stay but my 4 year old insisted that we eat ( she didn't know about the cockroach). The lady took the bowl away before I was able to snap a photo . I told her that I would like to speak with a manager regarding this as this is disgusting. The guy at the register avoided me the entire time so I went up there to pay the bill and discuss with him . He was very confrontational and said it's not a big deal, there's cockroaches everywhere and they will call a terminator to take care of it. The lady told him to take care of my bill but he said no, she's reporting us. I paid and left. I called the city to file a complaint immediately. Gina, the city inspector went out yesterday and confirmed they there are cockroaches in the facility. I was told they were closed a week in September for the same issue. Because she didn't see any live cockroaches running around (only in the traps) she had to let them stay open. She did advise the owner if they see even one running around, they need to shut down immediately. Gross! Don't come here unless you want to get sick. Also, the owner told the inspector that I received a gift card for the incident. I was NEVER offered one and have NO plans on returning to this cockroach infested restaurant. read more

Maybe this place got 4 stars from the local people who may not be very familiar with the Vietnamese dishes. If you already enjoyed the authentic Vietnamese cuisine in San Jose or in Bolsa (Southern Cal) then you would rate it lower. First, cleanliness. The chopsticks are greasy. Then we had to ask for a new teacup because one of them still had dirty spots on the ream. We ordered a pho #3 and a veggie bun bo hue. The broth in the pho is bland, lacks spice. Not much meat. As for the veggie bun hue, there is no taste of lemon grass which is the main spice in the broth. It also lacks chili pepper in the broth as well. Sadly to say that it's not bun hue. In Vietnamese soup dishes, the broth is the most important. Well, this restaurant fails in both dishes. Not sure if I would come back. read more

I went in with one other person for lunch on a Saturday and this place was packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait to be seated though. I ordered BBQ pork sandwich to go and ate a shrimp rice plate and boba there. (about $25 after tax and tip). The customer service is not the best because my friend tried three times to get water but the server just looked at her and walked away. The food does come out pretty quickly here though and it's cheaper than other Vietnamese places in the area. Overall I would say try this place since the food is pretty good but I probably wouldn't say it's my go to place because of the customer service. read more

When it comes to Pho, it's literally all about the broth. Most Pho that I've consumed in San Jose taste generally the same, good but always the same. This locations broth is step above and is not to be slept on. Always quick and ready and all other Pho accoutrements are fresh and good. When we walked into the restaurant, I knew we picked the right place. The dining area was near capacity and there was a large party in the second dining area/banquet room. We were seated quickly and served in a timely manner! Our waiter Paul, was great! He was obviously very busy but took the time to explain a few items on the menu and even make a recommendation. Even though the place was crowded we were served promptly and our food arrived without delay. We both ordered an appetizer and a pho dish. After the first bite of our appetizer I knew why the restaurant was crowded. The pho was good as well & came with a dish of shared accoutrements. Ugh, huge mistake eating indoors when it was briefly allowed. They really tried their best to adhere to the safety guidelines during covid by hanging up plexi glass to separate the indoor tables and providing wrapped up utensils, but the owner himself does not seem to be taking the process that seriously. Firstly, he allows customers to walk-in without masks and secondly, he showed up to work without a mask himself. It took him a good 15 minutes to "settle in" to work and then finally decided to pull his mask out and put it on when a customer walked up to pay. If you're eating outdoors, I think you'll be fine. However, just knowing the way they operate internally really made me lose my appetite. Especially the fact that they allow customers to walk freely throughout the restaurant without masks, while other customers are eating is just a big NO. I took the risk of dining in, but it was a mistake and I definitely will not be returning here, especially during this time. I was hoping this place Would be the one. Anyway, on first encounter service was good. But our order to long and all came out at different times and 2 orders were messed up. OK, I though. We're a big group, so they were excused. Well next encounter they completely forgot my order, so the people I was with were halfway through before we had to flag someone down who started to stammer off quickly, yell Something in Vietnamese to the back- they obviously Forgot. Next encounter, and last again, my order came out after reminding them and everyone was halfway done ( I ordered a vermicelli salad btw in case you were thinking it was a complicated order). An appetizer was completely wrong. And one of the pho soups we ordered was the wrong one. So I have to say, we've been around, and we know our pho, we know our meats, we know what we ordered. The pho we ordered and wanted included tripe and tendon, no rare steak. Well this one had rare steak, but no tendon nor tripe. I'm not sure if this guy is the owner but he was pleasantly Irritating. When we had pointed out this was the wrong pho and didn't have tripe nor tendon and had the rare steak.. he asked us to flip through the pho. Umm... seriously?! Like why would you even do that. Just exchange the bowl, flip through it in the back if you want. Who the heck would lie about missing innards. We were all appalled. Maybe if this guy quit talking to everyone else around him and actually looked at us when we ordered he would get our order right. Come here every time I'm in the area. Very good pho. Had an order of the summer rolls and the pho tai which is rare steak. Soup came out before rolls but that's ok cause I know they'd be fresh. Soup was very flavorful and full of meat. Rolls were very good. I judge pho places on 2 things, summer rolls and broth, and this place delivers on both. Highly recommend. Inside is pretty wild, lots to look at. Service was good and quick. Place was pretty busy but no wait. Reasonably priced. Been here quite a few times. Funny, never came when we lived in MH..lol. My boys ortho is in MH so we are there at least once a month. When we have a craving for a banh mi and don't wanna drive to SJ this is out go to. Today we knew we wanted pho and some other stuff. This place is located in the same shopping center as the Dollar Tree. Shopping center is a little dated compared to the revamp Morgan Hills downtown has received in the last handful of years. It does NOT however take away from the hospitality and quality of food this place serves up. You are immediately greeted. Each table is now strategically separated from each other to adhere to social distancing rules. They also offer patio seating now if you want. So much to choose from on their menu. I chose their charbroiled pork chop and rice plate, which also comes with a salad. My eldest chose a vegetarian vermicelli bowl, filled with noods, strips of tofu, plenty of veggies and sliced eggroll. My youngest son chose a meatball pho and had the white noodles substituted with yellow. For our appetizer we ordered vegetarian egg rolls, each serving is 4. My eldest also ordered an iced Thai Tea with boba and the youngest a honey dew with boba. All came out in a decent amount of time. My pork chop well seasoned and charred you could taste that yummy lemongrass. My son's vegetarian bowl was large and filling. My other son's soup was just as delicious. The broth was so rich and comforting. Both boys were very happy with their meals. We ordered 2 pork banh mi's to go and I also ordered an avocado smoothie with boba to go. All that food and I paid $91. Not bad for the amount of food served and taken home. We will always come back! read more

We stopped in Morgan Hill for lunch on our way to Monterey, and were searching for vegan options that weren't Tahoe priced. This looked like it fit the bill, so we decided to check it out. They were quite busy but we were immediately seated and checked on as soon as we were ready. Drinks came out extremely fast and our server Paul was fantastic. We got the passion fruit tea w/boba, a Thai Tea w/ boba made vegan, and a Taro Shake. They were super flexible and made our drinks vegan as well as making it more swallowable for our elderly companion. Again Paul was fabulous and super helpful with getting this all done. The food came out quite quick especially considering how busy they were. We all ordered the vegetarian pho which was also vegan, and it was delicious with fabulous portions. Quick and friendly service and the best pho I've had since moving to this area from Southern California! We were going to go to simmering pho but they decided to close in the middle of the day. ROACHES !!! We used to absolutely love coming here for the spring rolls and pho, but now we will NEVER go back. This Saturday while eating dinner here, we saw a cockroach crawling on the wall, it was so disgusting! We ordered 2 orders of spring rolls and not only did we get them after our entrées, they were double wrapped so we couldn't see that they were old spring rolls. The rice paper inside was so hard and dry we couldn't even bite into them. I told one of the usual men workers and he just said he would tell the manager to see what they could do about it.
