Food was so yummy, probably best pho I've had! I like that they take your order when you walk in so service is pretty quick. All the staff is super welcoming, friendly and attentive. Also love that it's family owned :)

Wow! This spot is really a hidden gem. I came by on a weekday afternoon for an early dinner. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. You order at the counter and your food is brought to you by the employees, which is nice. Service was prompt and my food came out quickly. I got a bowl of pho and a Thai tea. The Thai tea was super creamy and refreshing, but the real star of the show is the pho. They load it up with a TON of meat and the broth is flavorful but light. The veggies taste super fresh and the noodles were a good texture, not too chewy. They also put a lot more pepper in the soup than expected, which helps to enhance the other flavors! I will say that the entrance can be hard to find, as it is on the Pioneer side of the building and does not face the parking lot. I'll definitely be back!

We were craving some Vietnamese food so I looked up some spots in Woodland. This place is located in the corner facing Pioneer Road, maps were definitely inaccurate! Most of the tables were taken but we were grateful to find a booth to sit in. I want to first mention that the Vietnamese Coffee was so good! My Vietnamese boyfriend said it tasted like how his mom makes it at home. We tried their spring rolls, banh mi, and pho. The spring rolls mostly had cabbage in it with shrimp which was alright but I probably wouldn't order again, I did like the sauce though! The banh mi was also okay, on the dry side but plenty of meat inside! As for the pho we got number one and I'd rate it a 7/10 overall with the size, broth flavor, and the noodles. I did like that they were generous with the meat toppings! Will satisfy your cravings! 4/5 because we waited about 25 minutes to get our bowl of pho :(

I ordered a extra noodle pho #1 w/ a squirt soda and it was amazing. The broth was very flavorful. Hidden gem. Lots of protein for the #1. I miss the old mom and pop pho places like this! It should be a place you go to! It's quality noodle and quality meat balls. I need this business to stay so please go and support this flavorful pho! Owner was nice and served us as well!

Not bad for being the first pho establishment in Woodland. The Thai iced tea was just okay. It was overly sweet for my liking. I ordered the combination pho. The broth was flavorful and seasoned nicely. I love that the soup was hot unlike other establishments where it is warm. I assumed the combination consisted of tripe, which is an essential ingredient. I was mildly disappointed, although the brisket made up for it. I love the brisket as it was really tender. I will dine in again during my lunch break to satisfy my pho craving.

Food was surprisingly tasty. We both ordered pho dac biet, and were pleasantly surprised at how much meat they put in the bowl compared to other pho restaurants in the area, especially considering the $14 price tag. The meatballs were particularly flavorful; usually I find them rubbery and not very tasteful. I just wish they gave options for different sized bowls like other pho restaurants, as I was still hungry afterwards - the bowls feel like a "small" size at other restaurants.

Enjoyed the pho and tea from this spot. Staff was friendly and food was delightful. Costs were reasonable. They gave pretty good setup for to-go orders and it worked out well for the extra soup I got to take home for the family. Location is in the corner and requires you parking behind and walking around. My housemate took us to this place, and it really hit the spot! I ordered the #7 pho with steak & brisket, as you can see in the photo, the steak comes slightly rare, which is exactly how it should be. That way, it finishes cooking in the hot broth, keeping it tender rather than tough or overcooked. The broth was super flavorful and rich doesn't taste like those instant bases some places use. You can tell it was made low and slow with real bones and aromatics. Clean, balanced, and not overly salty. If you're looking for legit pho with quality cuts and good broth, this is definitely the place.

What a find..... not an easy find!!! On my way to Vacaville from Paradise and needed to charge my car. While car was charging I started looking for places to eat. Go a craving for Pho and a his place was a 3 minute ride away. Once charge was done plugged address into GPS and was on my way. GPS brought me into a parking lot that had a nail salon, pizza place, yoga studio but no Pho Namdo. Turned around and slowly drove the store fronts again. No Pho Namdo. Thought it may have been closed and yelp hadn't been updated. Defeated I left the parking lot through a different exit, ending up behind the stores I had just drove by. Lo and behold there it was on the corner facing the street and not the parking lot. Worth the time it took me to find it. Order at the counter, take your number and have a seat. The staff is friendly and the food outstanding. The Pho broth may have been some of the best I've ever had.

This place is so good! You do not need to add anything in your Pho but just the chili oil. Their meat & noodle portions are perfect. They are not cheap with their meet. Price is affordable and service was fast.

This is my absolute favorite pho spot in the Woodland/Davis area and I am so happy to support this amazing little mom & pop shop. I have already been to Pho Namdo quite a few times and every single time their pho is a hug in a bowl. This is the kind of pho that feels so homey and the kind of pho that I aspire to make (if I ever do try my hand at it). You can tell the amount of love that is poured into every single bowl. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but follow the mouth-watering smell of boiling broth and look for a tiny sign pointing to a tinted door, and you have arrived at Pho Namdo. I like that you order before you take a seat, and their prices are very reasonable. There is only one size but there is always plenty of meat in your bowl. There are plenty of options to choose from for your meat combos and several appetizers and drinks. Both the Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee are delicious. The herbs are fresh and I like to ask for extra limes to go with my bowl. The chili oil is spicy, so definitely add that if you enjoy adding spice to your pho! Service is always fast and attentive, and there is self-serve ice water at the soda machine. While the restaurant is small, it is cozy and because it is tucked away in the corner of the strip mall, it is a pretty quiet ambiance for you to enjoy your steaming, comforting bowl. I have already brought my husband and introduced some of my friends to Pho Namdo and they have all liked it immensely. Pho Namdo is easily in my top rotation of pho places to visit and I am looking forward to eating there again in 2025 (next year is already only a few days away, crazy)!

The chicken pho is really good, i usually don't like getting meats in my pho at other pho restaurants but the chicken here is good, the thai tea is also how i like my thai tea, sweet, but it might be too sweet for people who dont like sweet drinks. The shrimp spring rolls are also so good with the sauce it's served with!

Hidden gem in woodland tbh. Fire pho I never have anything to complain about. I've been there many time and the service is always amicable. Their Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee is so good, better than most tea/coffee shops tbh. The ambiance is nice, small, and clean.

I only tried the chicken small pho. It was really good! Service was quick and friendly. The owners work there and are present when we were there. They were friendly. It's hard to find because the entrance is in the side of the plaza and so you can't see the restaurant from the front of the plaza. You have to park behind the plaza and you'll see the entrance. The owner said they're planning to put up signs. read more

Quality chicken pho, spring rolls were stuffed full of everything! Their food was so well done, I'm glad we finally have a pho spot especially a gooooood pho spot! The inside seating is smaller but well situated for community! We sat and chatted with a sweet little lady who was just beside us! It's nice when the general crowd is kind! Yay community! Pho Nando is our go-to spot -- we come here once or twice a week because it's just that good! I usually get #15 (noodles + broth) or #14 (with shrimp), and both are always delicious. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are cooked perfectly every time. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It does get a little crowded sometimes, but honestly, that just shows how much people love this place. We always leave happy and satisfied. Highly recommend! read more

Missing items. We had place an order for pick up of x2 #13 x2 #8 x2 extra noodles x2 Pork spring rolls (each order comes with 2 full rolls fyi) so a total of 4 rolls should be present Long story short, I was shorted on an order of spring rolls as each order comes in a pair of rolls. Their defense was that I only paid for a single order anyways, (even though the cashier repeated my exact orders to me over the phone, and in person at time of pick up) no accountability taken on their part which is very disappointing. Instead, one of the employees suggested I drive back down there to re-place the order which at this point Is more than inconvenience. Please train your employees better to follow up and double check orders before handing them off to customers read more

I ordered a Pho Dac Biet, and for 14 dollars, the price and taste is really unbeatable. The pho tasted amazing and I loved that it wasn't overly greasy or overly msged/salted. The service was quick, and their drinks were amazing as well! I got a thai iced tea while my boyfriend got a vietnamese coffee and both tasted great. We were hanging out in Woodland and the child said she wanted Vietnamese food, so off to Yelp I went. Found Pho Nambo after driving aimlessly in the Bel Air parking lot. Turns out it's on the back corner off Pioneer and Branigan. They make pho and there were 2 types of appetizers on the menu. Their pho broth has got to be the cleanest tasting broth we've had, and we frequently eat pho. Great flavor, the steak was nice and tender and the pho ga chicken was also good. The springroll was good, abd I really enjoyed their peanut sauce. The kid loved the bbq pork bao. The owners and stafff were very nice and the whole establishment was very clean as well! read more

Good authentic pho. Southern style. I love the design of the shelves display multiple stack of bowls, which is similar to the pho store in Vietnam. First time I see a Pho restaurant that keep the authentic design and having good recipe. I forgot to take the picture of the food but pho #1 on the menu with everything is decent! We'll be back. If you are not looking you might miss this great mom and pop operation. Food is fresh, made to order and always good tasty. If you like hole in the wall spots and supporting local look no where else. I have been many times and will continue to come back. A little bit about the spot as it can be hard to find. It actually on the corner of Branigan Ave and Pioneer in the same shopping center as Bel Air. I find parking on the back side off of Branigan to be the closet parking. When busy seating can be limited for bigger groups but there are enough chairs. The place is clean but lacks character but once you get past that and get your food you won't regret it. Lastly, leave your preconceived notions about Bay Area Pho at the door as they are a dime a dozen in the bay and just enjoy quality food in an area where this mom and pop are bringing their family recipes to locals, travelers and adventurous people like you. read more

This place is on the back side of the Quest Diagnostics building--you'll want to park upfront and walk around to the back. The pho here is absolutely delicious and really hits the spot! The Thai tea and spring rolls are super fresh and made right in front of you. The servers are so sweet, and I believe it's a family-owned restaurant. You can really tell that the folks working there love what they do. It's clean, cozy, and clearly well cared for. I stumbled upon this spot by accident today, but I definitely plan to come back and try it again! Please stop by and give them a try, I'm sure they would appreciate local support! So glad to see that there is a Pho place here in Woodland and close to my work is even more dangerous. The broth was great. As many Pho eaters, it's the broth that makes the difference! They only serve one size, though I like to consider myself a little person, it's ok, bc I can take the leftovers home for dinner. Service was pretty good. It was a bit warm in there, however what to expect when you are having Pho on a summer day. This place is a GEM!! It's a little hard to find because there aren't any signs, but it's located on the shopping center by Bel Air in Woodland. When you walk in, you have to order your first then you can sit. The staff is super friendly. I ordered the number 5... it had the beef flank, fatty meat (which I love), and another slice of beef (sorry I forgot lol). This was hands down the best pho I've ever had!! As you can tell, my date and I both devoured our meals. Yes, it's that good!! We also ordered the Thai tea, it had the perfect ratio of sweetness!!! Pretty decent pho in Vacaville. Broth was good. They heat up the dry noodles by soaking it in their broth. I think because they are fairly new and still working out the kinks, the food kind of took a while to come out. The only thing I found a little weird was the texture of the noodles after it sits in the bowl for a bit. They give you your usual fresh herbs and bean sprouts as a side. Good amount of seating. It wasn't that busy when we went on a weekend. For the woodland people who don't want to travel into Davis or Sac for pho, this is a great addition. I would come back for pho if I'm in the area. read more

Finally Woodland has Pho!!! This restaurant is found in East Woodland close to Costco. The restaurant is very clean and has a very home-y ambiance. The pho broth is very traditional and flavorful according to my Vietnamese husband. The cooks were also so kind and humble. We definitely will be back soon. read more

The pho is amazing. Was too hungry, but you can tell it was great!!!! The broth is so flavorful. It was clear and you can choose your choice of meats. I did not need to add any condiments as the broth and noddles can stand on its on. I did add some on the side to deep my meat. I have have try pho all over but this place is worth it. They only have a small menu of pho, spring rolls, and drinks, but over all very positive experience. read more

My family and I went there 3 times until we had a carry out one time. The pho was loaded with MSG, I got extremely sick ended up in emergency. If you want business to grow in woodland, you need to cut down the MSG. Honestly, food isn't bad overall, but it needs to cut down MSG so people don't get sick. read more

Viet to Viet, this pho legit. Got the meatball pho, nice broth flavor, meatball not fatty and overall 10/10. My table and I kept talking bout how this is the best pho we've had in a long time especially for it to have been in woodland. Gotta be the go to for pho now especially since we got our food bout 5 mins after ordering too. The thai tea is good too ! read more

The soup is delicious, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the meat is soft. I would definitely recommend this place and return again myself! Note: The inside of the restaurant is small, the tables are small, and inside is on the warm side. Shout out to Stacey who reminded me that this place was finally open. I took a chance on this place after I was craving Pho when I was at the airport. The place is a bit hidden. Behind the shopping center with the front door facing the street. Glad woodland has a pho! This place is on the corner/behind the business Quest. We got lost per the directions on maps. Plenty of parking. This restaurant is order first and then self seat. Small menu but overall was tasty. I got the brisket steak pho and Bao buns - pork. I thought the Bao buns were the ones that looked like the taco kind but these were actually like circle Bao buns either way not too bad. I asked for no noodles but my soup still came with it - no biggy end up giving to my husband. Water is self serve. Would come again! read more

I went from a thin top to a medium weight sweater. We arrived in Davis I grabbed my jacket to pair with my sweater. Today was a day spent exploring Davis to see the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts (CCACA). What a great Conference. We come each year for this Conference and explore Davis every time we are here. After exploring the first building of the show it was coming on time to eat. We looked around the current shopping center and my husband didn't see anything he was craving. He said we'll go more into town and look for a noodle place. He said he remembered one from our last visit, down one of the alleys. Walking up the street we saw a couple of advertisements. A sandwich board was on the sidewalk for Davis Noodle CIty, the exact place we were looking for. The little Noodle Shop in the alley. We weaved through the other businesses, past the dumpling restaurant, past the outdoor seating and to the front door of the Davis Noodle City Restaurant. The out door seating looked really welcoming, but it was chilly out so we opted for eating inside with the other table that was occupied. There were 3 parties eating outside when we arrived. When we walked inside we were greeted and told to take any table. We choose a table in the corner. The menus were under the glass table top, keeping it clean and easy to read. Each place setting had its own copy of the menu. After looking at the menu, remembering what was offered on the sandwich board in front, and cross referencing it with Yelp Reviews we started ordering. We opted for the Five Spice Beef Noodles, and I asked if that was a good option and she said it was their top seller. The Yelp Reviews were only ok for that dish, but I took our chances. The second dish we ordered was the Dan Dan Noodles She tried to upscale us to the one with vegetables, but that dish was a cold dish so we when for the standard Dan Dan Noodles. Both dishes came out quickly. The Dan Dan noodles were not spicy as I anticipated, which was good, I wasn't really looking for spicy. I liked the flavor and realized that if you mixed it up there is a sauce on the bottom that is really tasty. Dan Dan Noodles ($8.25 a steal) is a solid dish and I highly reccomend it. It's a great bowlful of noodles. If you are hopping for other ingredients you are out of luck, it's 100% noodles with a sprinkling of peanuts on top and a sauce on the bottom. The Five Spice Beef Noodle Soup ($12.75)was as described in the reviews. It comes with American Broccoli and carrots. The beef is so good it melts in your mouth. The broth is minimal and lacked flavor. I'd think that it's advertised as Five Spice that it would have more flavor. I don't reccomend it if you are looking for a strong flavor. If you are looking for great meat, that melts in your mouth, but is also a little fatty then you have the perfect dish. Both dishes came with fresh noodles, none of those dried and rehydrated noodles that some places serve. The noodles on both dishes were different and pleasant. I highly reccomend their fresh noodles. Customer service was good. She came to check up on us and was pleasant. Parking is street parking. And they have a bathroom on site that is clean and well stocked.

The meat was fully cooked, flavorful, and both of ours had a decent amount of meat. The fresh noodles were great and light, it didnt feel like I was forcing myself to eat noodles I didnt like. Standard garnishes (jalapeños, limes, sprouts) though they start you off with a small amount of make sure to ask for more if you run low. They also have pickled white onions as a garnish!!!! SO GOOD!! As you can see from the pic, I finished mine which is rare for me. I usually leave a lot of broth or a lot of noodles left over, not this time! Note, this place only serves pho as entrees so plan accordingly if anyone in your group is expecting banh mis or doesn't want something hot, soupy, and delicious. Their phos are beef broth based. I've been to a few pho joints in the Davis/Sacramento area and I would easily put this is in my top 3.

I specifically requested no onions, but the bowl arrived full of them, and even after it was sent back, they were still present, which was disappointing.
