Food was so yummy, probably best pho I've had! I like that they take your order when you walk in so service is pretty quick. All the staff is super welcoming, friendly and attentive. Also love that it's family owned :)

Wow! This spot is really a hidden gem. I came by on a weekday afternoon for an early dinner. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. You order at the counter and your food is brought to you by the employees, which is nice. Service was prompt and my food came out quickly. I got a bowl of pho and a Thai tea. The Thai tea was super creamy and refreshing, but the real star of the show is the pho. They load it up with a TON of meat and the broth is flavorful but light. The veggies taste super fresh and the noodles were a good texture, not too chewy. They also put a lot more pepper in the soup than expected, which helps to enhance the other flavors! I will say that the entrance can be hard to find, as it is on the Pioneer side of the building and does not face the parking lot. I'll definitely be back!

We were craving some Vietnamese food so I looked up some spots in Woodland. This place is located in the corner facing Pioneer Road, maps were definitely inaccurate! Most of the tables were taken but we were grateful to find a booth to sit in. I want to first mention that the Vietnamese Coffee was so good! My Vietnamese boyfriend said it tasted like how his mom makes it at home. We tried their spring rolls, banh mi, and pho. The spring rolls mostly had cabbage in it with shrimp which was alright but I probably wouldn't order again, I did like the sauce though! The banh mi was also okay, on the dry side but plenty of meat inside! As for the pho we got number one and I'd rate it a 7/10 overall with the size, broth flavor, and the noodles. I did like that they were generous with the meat toppings! Will satisfy your cravings! 4/5 because we waited about 25 minutes to get our bowl of pho :(

I ordered a extra noodle pho #1 w/ a squirt soda and it was amazing. The broth was very flavorful. Hidden gem. Lots of protein for the #1. I miss the old mom and pop pho places like this! It should be a place you go to! It's quality noodle and quality meat balls. I need this business to stay so please go and support this flavorful pho! Owner was nice and served us as well!

Not bad for being the first pho establishment in Woodland. The Thai iced tea was just okay. It was overly sweet for my liking. I ordered the combination pho. The broth was flavorful and seasoned nicely. I love that the soup was hot unlike other establishments where it is warm. I assumed the combination consisted of tripe, which is an essential ingredient. I was mildly disappointed, although the brisket made up for it. I love the brisket as it was really tender. I will dine in again during my lunch break to satisfy my pho craving.

Food was surprisingly tasty. We both ordered pho dac biet, and were pleasantly surprised at how much meat they put in the bowl compared to other pho restaurants in the area, especially considering the $14 price tag. The meatballs were particularly flavorful; usually I find them rubbery and not very tasteful. I just wish they gave options for different sized bowls like other pho restaurants, as I was still hungry afterwards - the bowls feel like a "small" size at other restaurants.

Enjoyed the pho and tea from this spot. Staff was friendly and food was delightful. Costs were reasonable. They gave pretty good setup for to-go orders and it worked out well for the extra soup I got to take home for the family. Location is in the corner and requires you parking behind and walking around. My housemate took us to this place, and it really hit the spot! I ordered the #7 pho with steak & brisket, as you can see in the photo, the steak comes slightly rare, which is exactly how it should be. That way, it finishes cooking in the hot broth, keeping it tender rather than tough or overcooked. The broth was super flavorful and rich doesn't taste like those instant bases some places use. You can tell it was made low and slow with real bones and aromatics. Clean, balanced, and not overly salty. If you're looking for legit pho with quality cuts and good broth, this is definitely the place.

What a find..... not an easy find!!! On my way to Vacaville from Paradise and needed to charge my car. While car was charging I started looking for places to eat. Go a craving for Pho and a his place was a 3 minute ride away. Once charge was done plugged address into GPS and was on my way. GPS brought me into a parking lot that had a nail salon, pizza place, yoga studio but no Pho Namdo. Turned around and slowly drove the store fronts again. No Pho Namdo. Thought it may have been closed and yelp hadn't been updated. Defeated I left the parking lot through a different exit, ending up behind the stores I had just drove by. Lo and behold there it was on the corner facing the street and not the parking lot. Worth the time it took me to find it. Order at the counter, take your number and have a seat. The staff is friendly and the food outstanding. The Pho broth may have been some of the best I've ever had.

This place is so good! You do not need to add anything in your Pho but just the chili oil. Their meat & noodle portions are perfect. They are not cheap with their meet. Price is affordable and service was fast.

This is my absolute favorite pho spot in the Woodland/Davis area and I am so happy to support this amazing little mom & pop shop. I have already been to Pho Namdo quite a few times and every single time their pho is a hug in a bowl. This is the kind of pho that feels so homey and the kind of pho that I aspire to make (if I ever do try my hand at it). You can tell the amount of love that is poured into every single bowl. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but follow the mouth-watering smell of boiling broth and look for a tiny sign pointing to a tinted door, and you have arrived at Pho Namdo. I like that you order before you take a seat, and their prices are very reasonable. There is only one size but there is always plenty of meat in your bowl. There are plenty of options to choose from for your meat combos and several appetizers and drinks. Both the Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee are delicious. The herbs are fresh and I like to ask for extra limes to go with my bowl. The chili oil is spicy, so definitely add that if you enjoy adding spice to your pho! Service is always fast and attentive, and there is self-serve ice water at the soda machine. While the restaurant is small, it is cozy and because it is tucked away in the corner of the strip mall, it is a pretty quiet ambiance for you to enjoy your steaming, comforting bowl. I have already brought my husband and introduced some of my friends to Pho Namdo and they have all liked it immensely. Pho Namdo is easily in my top rotation of pho places to visit and I am looking forward to eating there again in 2025 (next year is already only a few days away, crazy)!

The chicken pho is really good, i usually don't like getting meats in my pho at other pho restaurants but the chicken here is good, the thai tea is also how i like my thai tea, sweet, but it might be too sweet for people who dont like sweet drinks. The shrimp spring rolls are also so good with the sauce it's served with!

Hidden gem in woodland tbh. Fire pho I never have anything to complain about. I've been there many time and the service is always amicable. Their Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee is so good, better than most tea/coffee shops tbh. The ambiance is nice, small, and clean.

Working in Woodland and had a hankering for Pho but didn't have time to make the drive to Davis. Pleasantly surprised to find a pho place that rivals some of the best pho I've had (including my mom's!) Clean broth. Good serving size with nice noodle to beef ratio. Service was pretty good but be warned, they get busy during lunch time so it'll slow down a bit and seating may be difficult. Otherwise clean, quiet restaurant. Support local business :) read more

TLDR: i love this place! i was excited to see a new pho place in woodland and it tastes authentic and good. service was super friendly, portions are extremely generous, and prices are reasonable (especially for the portion size!!). i definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good pho in woodland, i like this better than the pho restaurants in davis. food: 5/5 i ordered the #2 with extra meat, which came in its own broth in a small separate bowl. the broth tasted nice and authentic, and the meat quality is good! the bowl came with a lot of meat and noodles on its own, i didn't need to order extra meat LOL. service: 5/5 we walked in and were instantly greeted by who I'm assuming was one of the owners, and he was extremely friendly. we placed our order at the front and got to sit wherever we wanted. the food did take a little while to prepare but it wasn't an unreasonable wait, and the food felt worth it. ambiance: 5/5 it was a hot afternoon and we went in at 3pm so there were only a few other people in there with us. the restaurant is clean and chill, and utensils, sriracha, and hoisin sauce were provided at the tables. the friendliness of the owners really set a good vibe from the start! read more

I've heard about Pho Namdo from a few different people now. It did not disappoint. The menu is simple with about 12 different dishes to choose from. I got the shrimp and my boyfriend got the #10. The broths were great. Not sure the spices and extra toppings they added but it added a yummy flavor. We also got a side of the dumplings. The dipping sauce was different than other dipping sauces I've had. Highly recommended trying Pho Namdo. So excited to finally have a Pho spot in Woodland. read more

Pho Namdo honestly has the best pho in the Yolo county area. The topping and noodle portions are massive, you get side toppings, and it only costs $14 a bowl. You pay before you sit down which also eliminates the hassle of paying the check when you're done eating. I've been here many times already and would highly recommend as a regular lunch spot or hangover meal. read more

The food is great, however we went in and waited easily 45 mins as a table behind got fed before us. They actually FORGOT or lost our order. So they took a great length to make it for us after we told them they forgot about it. I mean... read the room. You see our tag on the table. You took our money and never asked or said sorry when you fed people whom ordered after us! Then the cash register guy is chef microwaving Bao Buns and not washing his hands as he goes back and forth taking food to tables, clearing tables and handling the cash register. Then the owner guy is clearing tables, grabbing tips, dirty bowls and then goes into the kitchen grabbing noodles in the bin to fresh bowls of pho and NOT washing his hands either. The only one not touching everything was the lady and she wore gloves. WASH YOUR HANDS PLEASE!! We all are watching you! read more

Was craving pho and just happened to be in the area. Good reviews on Google so I decided to try it and it was DELICIOUS! The broth is clear and tasted divine! The spring rolls were full and so refreshing and the peanut sauce was so good! The Thai tea was perfect! The staff was really nice and the food came out fairly quickly. A couple of things to improve on is adding signage to the outside of the building so you know where the place is and lower the volume of the music a tad as well as the fans. The food was absolutely spectacular and I will definitely be going here when I'm in the area again! read more

Enjoyed lunch here today with a friend. I had the Shrimp Pho and it was incredible! No need to add anything to it, the depth of flavor was amazing. The ingredients were really fresh tasting and the bowl included lots of huge shrimp with a healthy portion of noodles. The place was quite busy but comfortable and the background music very relaxing. Our pho was SO yummy!! The broth was so delicious & flavorful- definitely the best I've tasted in a while. The gentleman who took our order was very kind & the woman in the kitchen had a very sweet, kind demeanor. The other guy was helpful as well! I would say our only downside was that there was no AC inside, so it was a little toasty while eating our pho during the summertime. Great food, service & the inside was clean. Thank you! read more

My Niece has been telling me over and over to try Pho and I did a little research and found this gem very close to where I live. We both went there for lunch yesterday and the place was packed. I ordered the chicken pho and she ordered the beef pho. The restaurant is small, but do let that deter you. The food took about 15 minutes to 20 minutes to get to our table and boy was it worth the wait. My niece was amazed by the presentation and flavor of her order and could not believe this gem of a restaurant was in Woodland and was so close to where I live, Keep in mind this was my first time ever trying Pho, but I was very happy with the chicken but I felt it need a little bit more flavor. I put some Hoisin sauce in the dish and that was what it was needed for me. What an amazing meal we had and so worth it coming here. We both look forward to trying the other variety on the menu when she visits again from Portland. Please support this family owned restaurant and give pho a try you will not be disappointed. We both got the Pho Hanoi (#14, comes with wok fried ribeye and garlic) with the fresh noodles upgrade which was a $1.50 surcharge but so worth it. Came out to about $44 total. The broth was good, didnt taste diluted, and different than the pork broths I've been used to from other pho restaurants. The meat was fully cooked, flavorful, and both of ours had a decent amount of meat. The fresh noodles were great and light, it didnt feel like I was forcing myself to eat noodles I didnt like. Standard garnishes (jalapeños, limes, sprouts) though they start you off with a small amount of make sure to ask for more if you run low. They also have pickled white onions as a garnish!!!! SO GOOD!! As you can see from the pic, I finished mine which is rare for me. I usually leave a lot of broth or a lot of noodles left over, not this time! Note, this place only serves pho as entrees so plan accordingly if anyone in your group is expecting banh mis or doesn't want something hot, soupy, and delicious. Their phos are beef broth based. I've been to a few pho joints in the Davis/Sacramento area and I would easily put this is in my top 3.

I specifically requested no onions, but the bowl arrived full of them, and even after it was sent back, they were still present, which was disappointing.
