The reason for the 3 stars is I dint like what I ordered. It was beef and egg rolls with noodles. The noodles was dry, but they gave me a sauce on the side in which I dont know if that has to be mixed in the noodles or it has to be the sauce for eggrolls. This is my go to place when I'm working and need pho fast! The prices are good, the flavor is good, and the service is good. Maybe I caught them on an off day. Pho broth was bland and so light that I wondered if it was chicken broth. Generous with lime wedges but only one sprig of basil. My takeout order lacked the little condiment container of hoisin and sriracha that other places include. Beef was fresh, but I think I'll try some other pho places in the area next. read more

My husband and I enjoy visiting and eating at Pho Nhat. The owner/cook often takes time to talk to us and over the 5 years or so that I've been eating at Pho Nhat, we have developed a friendly relationship. We often jump in for Thai iced tea, Vietnamese spring rolls, vegeggie Pho,and lemon grass chicken. Very tasty, very fast. read more

I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars. I go to school and work in Tempe. However, I live off-campus on the west side of Phoenix. I usually go to Da Vang or Pho Thanh. I was really excited when I found out there was a Vietnamese restaurant so close to campus. The minute I discovered it, I bought a bowl and some spring rolls. The pho, while I ate it, was mediocre at best. The broth tasted like ramen, and the meat was way too bloody. I enjoy pho with the raw meat that cooks up in the soup, but this meat seemed inconsumable. About an hour after eating the pho, I started to have terrible stomach pains, and I felt nauseous. It didn't help that their lemonade tasted like onions. I had to leave work early that afternoon because of the pains I felt after eating that meal. I would suggest to drive out to Chandler or Mesa if you want quality Pho on that side of town. This place is definitely not for me! read more

Honestly, Pho Nhat is just alright. Convenient enough with its location to satisfy an itch (or more appropriately, a craving) but neither the best, nor the best bang for your buck in the valley for that matter. Would I come back? Possibly. Would I prefer to make the effort into Mesa for something better? Definitely. read more

Very rude and unprofessional owner, I came in for an order through Postmates a delivery service app that Postmates customer service called to place the order over the phone. I come to the restaurant and the owner says he is refusing to make the food for the customer because he hates the "you guys" mind you I am just a sub contractor and also a business owner myself so I politely asked what his bad experience was so that I could communicate it to Corperate and he said I don't have to explain to you I hate you guys get out of here so I said "sir please I'm not trying to be rude I'm a business owner myself I'm glad your speaking up I just want to know so it doesn't occur with other restaurants" he said get out of my restaurant and walked out from behind the counter and touched my shoulder as his 2 children where standing right there. The unprofessionalism of the owner is a complete turn off! Furthermore, Postmates increases many small business owners like him by 10-15% statistically, why anyone would turn down money is beyond me! read more

This was by far the best Pho I've ever had, egrolls were nice and crispy and the noodles were so soft and overall was soo delicious !!! This was my first time coming here and I highlighy recommend this place because I had the best experience and it blew me away and I'm sure it'll do the same for other people. Has the best Pho in the valley have been to many but they do not compare at all to this place. The people are super friendly nice and food comes to you fast. We used to come all the time but now that my honey has left asu we don't get to go as often as I would like but we try as much as possible. Never. Again. My husband and I decided to try this place because we were in the area and wanted hot pho on a cold night. My pho was terrible. The broth tasted like it was ramen noodle broth, which if you've had good pho, you know should never be the case. And then, to make the experience even worst, a cockroach started to crawl on our table and almost into our food. The server, who I believe is also the owner, came to check on what was wrong, and when we told her there was a cockroach, her suggestion was we move to another table. But at that point, we had already lost our appetites. We paid and left. The server/owner apologized again as we were leaving, but I was surprised she didn't comp our meal being that we didn't really eat. If you want pho, I suggest you go somewhere else where there is some attempt in making it taste authentic. As for the cockroach, well...I know Vietnamese restaurants are kind of notorious for being dirty so that should be your call if it's a deal breaker. read more

WOW! this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Tempe! From Rancho Cucamonga, California went here a month ago to visit my family, carving for some Pho and ran into Pho Nhat. I have to say best pho I have ever had. I tried many Pho in my hometown Pho Ha, Pho Nguyen....it didn't come up to my standard. But Pho Nhat the soup truly tasted fresh and like its been boiled with real chicken and beef, not fake broth like other restaurants. Went here for lunch and it extremely crowded. Have to wait a while, but it was worth the wait because the service and the food was so fast in my surprise. I ordered rare beef pho, my husband ordered lemon grass chicken rice, and a coffee & thai tea.OMG! The food is extremely delicious and fresh. It is beyond so good. We filled up quickly the first time. My husband and I came back 2nd day after having few pretzels at Mesa Mall. WOW! The food tasted even better than the 1st day. I had pho again and my husband had BBQ pork Vermacelli...we looked at ourselves after the 1st bite, I couldn't believe it ITS SO GOOD! WOW! OMG! I went here when I had the flu because I needed take out. I ordered it before I left the house late and took much longer than I had anticipated to get there. I got there and they were super friendly, and the food was still piping hot! I got the chicken pho and it was delicious. My only complaint is that they should use white meat in it rather than dark meat, but it was still yummy. I'll be coming back again! read more

This place is so good that I just about have to go their every week. The soup is great, especially the chicken with rice noodles. Cold weather is coming and if you have a cold, get that soup! I was served a dirty brown bowl that smell like dirty sour water and the meat was rotten. Before the pho tie hit my table it smell really horrible and there was no way I would eat it nor pay for it. R these owners nuts to think I would eat such a disgusting soup. It was insulting and it was served with a huge dirty fork sticking inside the pho. If you value your life, do not eat there. The health department needs to expect this place and shut it down, never mind giving them a warning. What is it with the Vietnamese restaurant that set up their restaurant and give up and making the food properly that represents the true culture and ethnicity. You never see this in California nor back East. Because there is a shortage of ethnicity of Vietnamese culture, there should be a higher standard to do better. Maybe the owner thinks that those naive college students' and local residents don't know any better or just that the owners just gave up on giving their best to the customers. read more

The service is so quaint. I love the fact that the place is family run. The portions of the homestyle food where plentiful and my thai tea was delicious. To top it off the owners toddler of a daughter brought us our menus because her Mom was in the kitchen when we first came in. The place is not much to look at but I doubt they can afford to remodel with the cheap prices they offer their delicious food at. read more

What can I say about this place? Best Pho in town by far. I have been in this place to eat lots of time. The owner told me that I am one of the few that has eat at least every dish on their menus. She, the owner, is pretty smart, she pretty much knows what you want when you walk into the restaurant. But she told me I am one of the few exception because I tends to get a different things when I am in there. I often eat at Pho Nhat 3 or 4 times a week because it is that good. They just don't serve Pho alone, they also have "bun" rice dishes and specialties. My favorite dishes over there is the Lemon grass chicken and the Nhat House Fried rice. Their Pho is extremely good too. If you want to eat Pho, Bun, or Rice this is the place for you. Also, their Thai Ice tea is the best!!! Don't believe me, come and try it out for yourself. read more

I love this place! Family owned and operated. My boyfriend and I have been enjoying the simple menu for four or five years now, long enough to literally watch the owners daughters grow up. Great service and food . Definate local hole in the wall. Being honest the atmosphere is pretty ghetto but if you want 5 star go else were.
