I visited Pho Now today, and it's clean and organized restaurant. The staff were friendly, and I ordered the #1 Special. The broth was flavorful, and the meats were nicely trimmed. They have a great variety of dishes to choose from! The only minor downside was that the serving of bean sprouts was a bit small amount. Overall, it's one of the better bowls of pho I've tried recently. I will definitely be back!

Tried this place for the first time with my family and found it pretty average overall. Bún thịt tôm nướng: 3.5/5 - Decent but nothing special. Sizzling cơm tấm: Basic and disappointing since they used regular rice instead of broken rice. The hot plate also caused oil to splatter everywhere. I didn't really like having bell peppers on my com tam, it was an interesting take. Nem spring rolls: 3.5/5 - Good, but I've had better. Service was good, but I wasn't impressed enough to come back.

We happen to be the area looking for a spot to eat at after doing errands. I have been wanting to try one of the newer Pho restaurants in South San Jose, Pho Now. We arrived on a late Saturday afternoon for lunch recently. Pho Now is located in a nice large plaza off Capitol Expressway. Lucky grocery store and the popular Cha Cha Sushi is located in the same shopping plaza as well. Parking is accessible in the large parking lot out front. The Vietnamese restaurant has nice modern cultural decor. Colorful fun Asian characters and some Japanese art are present in the front and counter area. It is spacious and clean with plenty of tables for dine in. We ordered 2 shrimp and pork vermicelli and 1 kids bowl with beef balls. Everyone enjoyed their delicious food. Our vermicelli bowls were huge and looked appetizing. The shrimp was juicy while the pork was unfortunately chewy. Noodles were tasty. My son said his kids bowl was yummy and the beef balls were scrumptious. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Pho Now. The staff were nice and accommodating. There was a robot server that brought over cups of water to us which I thought was a nice touch. The price point was in the higher side for Vietnamese food in the area but the dishes are large proportions. The vibe was family friendly and bustling. We hope to be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Solid pho spot in an unassuming strip mall. We were close by and craving some noodles so did a quick yelp review to see what was close by. We thought about going to the east side but we were feeling hungry and decided to give this spot a try. Service was prompt with a cute little robot whose only job was to bring drinks. Pho Now has been on my must try list for a while now. Since I had some pho the other day, I got a vermicelli bowl. I got the combo because I wanted to try the egg rolls. This was a good size portion and everything was fresh. The shrimp were huge! I enjoyed the fun vibe of this restaurant and I had great customer service. Looking forward to going back soon to order a bowl of pho.

I had a great experience at Pho Now. I ordered the brisket and beef ball pho along with the fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious, and the dipping sauce was outstanding it really elevated the dish. The pho was excellent, especially with the fresh noodles, which paired perfectly with the flavorful broth. The brisket and beef balls were tender and cooked well. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!

AMAZING PHO SPOT!!! If this is your first time at Pho Now, be prepared to be WOWed like I was. Enormous portions (size Large pho lives up to its name) and super yummy and fresh ingredients. I opted for the "wok-fried filet mignon" pho and it was as unique as it sounds. Small pieces of wok-seared garlic and filet swam all over the steaming hot and flavorful broth. I've never had anything like it. Easy 5/5 stars for Pho Now. Parking was a breeze (same parking lot as ChaCha Sushi, Tastea, and Lucky supermarket). Service was excellent and friendly. Shoutout to our server, Trang, who made excellent recommendations!! No time to wait...go to Pho Now...NOW!!!!

Went with my sister and my bestie a few times when this place opened. This style of pho was a bit different than others but I wouldn't say it was less tasty. It was still pretty good. I really like the convenience since it's walking distance from where I live.

We were seated and greeted right away upon entering the restaurant. They have an extensive menu. We ordered the Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Over Rice On A Sizzling Platter and the Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Rolls With Vermicelli. The waitress gave us a complimentary appetizer. It consisted of Egg Rolls and a Fresh Shrimp Roll. The Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Over Rice On A Sizzling Platter was still sizzling when it got to our table. The Grilled Pork on both entrees were tender and flavorful. The Grilled Shrimp wasn't overcooked. The Egg Rolls were crispy and crunchy on the outside. The prices were fairly reasonable and they were generous with the portions. We were surprised with the free appetizer. We will definitely be back to try their Pho.

Came here in a Friday night and it's legit. Lively, busy, clean with great service and food. They even have a robot that helps deliver food and drinks to your table. I got the vermicelli and my wife got the pho. Both were so delicious and had big portions. The veggies were fresh and they had all the sauces you need to enhance your dish the way you like it. Just had the beef ribs with the garlic noodles and let me tell you the beef ribs were legit and they gave your plenty. It was marinated just right, I've been going into this plaza so often and I decided to eat here. The service was quick and fast, food came out quick and water was delivered by a robot that had a display. The decor is really nice and open. Very clean inside and bright. There are a lot of TVs showing different types of food of Vietnam which is cool may help you decided what to eat. I'll have to try the other items next time. read more

Pho Now has been one of my top places to try ever since they opened. I was easily influenced by seeing a video on Tik Tok and knew I had to come and taste it for myself. The restaurant is bigger than I expected and had a lot of seating area available. It has a more modern look and feel to it than most Viet places do. We really liked how they have TV's playing with different food shows from different countries. The service here was really good. Everyone was super friendly and always willing to help. We ordered the egg roll plate as well as their pho. The egg rolls were not your typical egg roll. It has a rice paper shell but is super yummy and should definitely be eaten with the lettuce and mint that comes with it. I also usually do not like pho but the broth it great and filled with flavor. Also, if you come here you need to try their passionfruit drink. It is so good and I crave it everyday. The crunchy pieces of passionfruit seed are great. The only thing I didn't really care for here was the spring roll. I think it was filled with too many veggies and usually I prefer them to be less filled and skinnier. The peanut sauce was really good though! Overall, I would definitely return. Service was great and very fast. Food came out in less than ten minutes! read more

Little robot served waters right away! So cool and cute . The restaurant is clean and stocked with all the necessary sauces for any dish. Food and drinks were also served quickly so I would definitely come back when I need a quick meal. Love how they already have forks and chopsticks on the table, a lot of places don't have that. Decent pho spot! Lots of seating, casual restaurant with kind staff. I enjoyed the pho but the wait was wayyyy longer than expected after I ordered. Pho usually comes out fast. We waited about 25 minutes. The bun thit nuong was pretty good, large portion, grilled shrimp and pork was very tasty. Eggroll filling on the other hand wasn't that good. Usually there's some woodear mushroom & vermicelli but it was pure meat with not much flavor. Would return if wait improves. The rice plates looked good. Maybe it was busy? It was the night of Dec 23rd so didn't expect it to be. read more

Came here for their happy hour (4-5pm) $9.99 pho dac biet with my parents. It only comes in the size of small but it is honestly not too bad for that price. Theres a robot that goes around delivering drinks which was very entertaining to see. We did notice the wait for our pho was little longer than expected, I'd say around 15-20 minutes for it to come out. The pho itself wasn't really screaming flavor in my honest opinion, it felt like it was lacking a ton of umami. For 10 bucks for a bowl, it's honestly a great deal! Theres service was very spot on with the waiter always coming by and refilling our waters regularly. Overall, it's not a bad place to get pho but I do wish there were some more flavor in the broth. I would definitely check out their promotion if you ever wanted to try this place out. read more

We visited pho now which was known for their large bowls. The servers were quick and attentive while also refilling our drinks and asking if we needed anything. The egg rolls were crispy and not too salty like other locations. Definitely try the egg rolls if you visit. The main course was the pho which was double what we normally see. The portion was unbelievable and the broth is light while avoiding that heavy greasy top that normally forms. Worth trying again! read more

Gave this spot a try late at night and it hit the spot. Between four people, we shared an appetizer and two entrees which was the perfect amount of food. Though the menu is limited, everything is very delicious. We built our own custom pho and ordered a sizzling plate for the table. The pho broth was not too heavy and came with a generous portion of noodles. The sizzling plate didn't come with as much protein as we would have liked but was still enjoyable. Went in with my girls for a quick late afternoon meal. Not too many people anyways so the food came quick but how rude are the staff!! Like how dare I bother them with question on the menu when its just pho! ... seems they were irritated at a simple question of what size kid size pho is... but also how dare I ask for togo.. when after I realize my 8-month-old baby has needs diaper change. What a shame of new place to treat customer like that. BUT TO TOP IT OFF, they FRAUDULANTLY CHARGED MY BILL TWICE on different cards! Once I swiped the transaction didn't go through. I swiped again but the girl who was "helping me with payment" was so rude I felt rushed to give her another card to try which it did also go through. So TWO bills at 90 DOLLARS EACH for pho and spring rolls. I asked if they would cancel the other one, she said NO and said because it won't go through. I worked at restaurants enough to know that at the end of night, as staff closes the sales they have to match the ticket to kitchen to bills. If something don't match its the staff's responsibility to inform the card company to void the transaction. This case, they did not do it on purpose or by neglect. And ultimately this reflects poorly on the ethics of the staff and the owner by extension. Because a month go by I get the credit card bills for both of my card, BOTH CHARGES went through. So go here if.. 1. You wanted to be treated like crap for asking questions. 2. Eat your meal and dont ask for anything to go leftovers. 3. Get charged twice for a same meal. read more

Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. I'm here at Phở Now, right off W Capitol Expy this Friday Afternoon. I like the name, it's catchy. Get it? Phở Now. I think I've done all sorts of Phở, in all different styles. But something I haven't had enough of is, this Wok-Seared Beef Filet Mignon Steak Phở, and I got it in a Large today. Wok-Seared or Xào Lăn, is a great way to Seal in all the flavor, and juices. It's Phở, but more Garlicky, and fragrant. And I got fresh Noodles, or Bánh Tươi this time again. It arrived scorching Hot, the Broth is very flavorful, deep, the Cut of Beef is High-quality, I can use a bit more slices, but other than that everything was really good. And I can't forget about, the Cup of Calamansi Iced tea, so refreshing. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.9-4.3 stars, this could be a 4.3 stars on a good day, I want to give it a 4.3 stars, but I'm also going to give this 4.2/4.3 stars out of 5 stars. I'm on my way to pho PaPa and I saw this restaurant on Capital expressway. I thought I should try this one even though I've never heard of it. I ordered pho ribs, but the ribs were so chewy, I couldn't eat them. They need to cook at least a few more hrs to soften and tender! The broth was ok, nothing special, just ok. Restaurant looks nice and clean. The service was ok... I won't come back. There are many better options for pho in San Jose! read more

There aren't many Pho places in South San Jose that I enjoy, but Pho Now is an exception! I love the colorful and modern vibes and decor and they offer Pho, Vermicelli Bowls, and Sizzling Rice Plates. The Beef Pho is super tasty. The fresh noodles held together very well and didn't fall apart. The quality of the tender beef is on par with other pho spots in the area, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting. They also serve a special Wok-Seared Beef Pho that is different from other Pho spots and I love the good char smoke flavor from the wok and the beef was super tender! The one dish I've tried and didn't enjoy or recommend is the Chicken Pho. The two times I tried, the chicken is super tough! I'd stick to the Beef Pho. read more

I had Pho Special an my wife had Bun Thit Nuong . The food is ok but both of us felt they too sweet which would effect the proper flavors of each kind of food . The prices are higher than other restaurants in San Jose. The male waiter was excellent. It's nice that there is a pho place in this area, however, with so many Vietnamese places around that aren't far of a drive, Pho Now probably won't be my go to place. The flavor/quality, price, and portion wasn't anything special. We came late on a weekend night and it was quite busy. Service was a bit slow and the food took awhile. They had a robot to serve drinks. We ordered egg rolls, pho dac biet, and a grilled pork, shrimp, and egg sizzling rice plate. All the dishes were just okay. This place replaced a previous pho place that was here .... Service was just ok. Friendly but nothing to rave about. I had their pho combo aka pho Đặc biết. The flavor had a very subtle taste. It smelled like pho but it felt like it was lacking something. I live across the street so I guess if it was I was feeling lazy to drive far I could walk over, however my roommate said, we were better off buying the filet mignon at lucky's and then adding it to the instant pho.... We've been to Pho Now several times and it's become one of those easy family spots we all agree on. The pho is flavorful, clean, and comforting without being too heavy. They normally close on Wednesday. But today I was feeling eating a hot warm bowl of pho so I decided to look around on yelp and to my surprise they were open. I called to confirm and indeed they were open. I came and they were welcoming and I asked why they want to open on Wednesday. They say it's because they want to serve their community and to customers that want to come on Wednesdays as well. I recommend coming to this restaurant.
