I visited Pho Now today, and it's clean and organized restaurant. The staff were friendly, and I ordered the #1 Special. The broth was flavorful, and the meats were nicely trimmed. They have a great variety of dishes to choose from! The only minor downside was that the serving of bean sprouts was a bit small amount. Overall, it's one of the better bowls of pho I've tried recently. I will definitely be back!

Tried this place for the first time with my family and found it pretty average overall. Bún thịt tôm nướng: 3.5/5 - Decent but nothing special. Sizzling cơm tấm: Basic and disappointing since they used regular rice instead of broken rice. The hot plate also caused oil to splatter everywhere. I didn't really like having bell peppers on my com tam, it was an interesting take. Nem spring rolls: 3.5/5 - Good, but I've had better. Service was good, but I wasn't impressed enough to come back.

We happen to be the area looking for a spot to eat at after doing errands. I have been wanting to try one of the newer Pho restaurants in South San Jose, Pho Now. We arrived on a late Saturday afternoon for lunch recently. Pho Now is located in a nice large plaza off Capitol Expressway. Lucky grocery store and the popular Cha Cha Sushi is located in the same shopping plaza as well. Parking is accessible in the large parking lot out front. The Vietnamese restaurant has nice modern cultural decor. Colorful fun Asian characters and some Japanese art are present in the front and counter area. It is spacious and clean with plenty of tables for dine in. We ordered 2 shrimp and pork vermicelli and 1 kids bowl with beef balls. Everyone enjoyed their delicious food. Our vermicelli bowls were huge and looked appetizing. The shrimp was juicy while the pork was unfortunately chewy. Noodles were tasty. My son said his kids bowl was yummy and the beef balls were scrumptious. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Pho Now. The staff were nice and accommodating. There was a robot server that brought over cups of water to us which I thought was a nice touch. The price point was in the higher side for Vietnamese food in the area but the dishes are large proportions. The vibe was family friendly and bustling. We hope to be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Solid pho spot in an unassuming strip mall. We were close by and craving some noodles so did a quick yelp review to see what was close by. We thought about going to the east side but we were feeling hungry and decided to give this spot a try. Service was prompt with a cute little robot whose only job was to bring drinks. Pho Now has been on my must try list for a while now. Since I had some pho the other day, I got a vermicelli bowl. I got the combo because I wanted to try the egg rolls. This was a good size portion and everything was fresh. The shrimp were huge! I enjoyed the fun vibe of this restaurant and I had great customer service. Looking forward to going back soon to order a bowl of pho.

I had a great experience at Pho Now. I ordered the brisket and beef ball pho along with the fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious, and the dipping sauce was outstanding it really elevated the dish. The pho was excellent, especially with the fresh noodles, which paired perfectly with the flavorful broth. The brisket and beef balls were tender and cooked well. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!

AMAZING PHO SPOT!!! If this is your first time at Pho Now, be prepared to be WOWed like I was. Enormous portions (size Large pho lives up to its name) and super yummy and fresh ingredients. I opted for the "wok-fried filet mignon" pho and it was as unique as it sounds. Small pieces of wok-seared garlic and filet swam all over the steaming hot and flavorful broth. I've never had anything like it. Easy 5/5 stars for Pho Now. Parking was a breeze (same parking lot as ChaCha Sushi, Tastea, and Lucky supermarket). Service was excellent and friendly. Shoutout to our server, Trang, who made excellent recommendations!! No time to wait...go to Pho Now...NOW!!!!

Went with my sister and my bestie a few times when this place opened. This style of pho was a bit different than others but I wouldn't say it was less tasty. It was still pretty good. I really like the convenience since it's walking distance from where I live.

We were seated and greeted right away upon entering the restaurant. They have an extensive menu. We ordered the Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Over Rice On A Sizzling Platter and the Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Rolls With Vermicelli. The waitress gave us a complimentary appetizer. It consisted of Egg Rolls and a Fresh Shrimp Roll. The Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Over Rice On A Sizzling Platter was still sizzling when it got to our table. The Grilled Pork on both entrees were tender and flavorful. The Grilled Shrimp wasn't overcooked. The Egg Rolls were crispy and crunchy on the outside. The prices were fairly reasonable and they were generous with the portions. We were surprised with the free appetizer. We will definitely be back to try their Pho.

We stopped by Pho Now for lunch today, and while it didn't entirely hit the spot, I see so much potential! The fresh shrimp spring rolls were absolutely delightful - a wonderful start! The shrimp sizzling plate showed promise, but the veggies could use a bit more love. They were tasteless and bland. The sweet sauce thhadcame with the sizling plate was not enough. The pho had its moments, too. Unfortunately, the chicken pho had hard, overcooked chicken (hopefully just a one-off!) and broth that needed a boost (fish sauce to the rescue!). The shrimp pho got a tad broccoli-happy, and the large pho portions could've used more noodles. I adore the modern vibe and spotless cleanliness, though! Service was great too! read more

The broth here was really nice; ordered the Chicken Pho with Broccoli and Carrot. The broccoli and carrot also was also not too overcooked. They chicken was tender as well. The service was friendly and responsive. When I asked for an extra plate of vegetables, they happily complied and brought it steamed just like I asked. The decor is really neat with funny pictures and popular characters like Labubu and the seven dwarves. This place is fresh and fun. Will definitely return. read more

There's a lot of interesting decor at pho now. Service is quick and they have a robot to deliver drinks. What was interesting was they had a wok seared filet mignon. I was in the mood for pho so I got that and the broth was good and generous. Although I ordered a large, I felt like the amount of noodles and beef were on the smaller side. Nice, spacious spot to get our pho fix that's close to our house. Food was delicious. Pho Ga broth was flavorful without being overpowering. The fresh spring rolls were fresh with a yummy peanut sauce. The shrimp garlic noodles were good too although I expected a little more noodles for the price. Fast service! We walked in during dinner and were seated right away. The place was clean and had a fresh, new vibe. We ordered the egg rolls, and they were absolutely adorable! These mini rolls were piping hot and crispy, with a chewy, bubbly rice paper exterior that reminded me more of imperial rolls than traditional wonton-wrapped egg rolls. They came with plenty of fresh greens and a side of fish sauce. The pricing was very reasonable, making this my new go-to spot for egg rolls! The Pho Dac Biet was good as well. They really piled on the green onions, and the broth was light yet packed with flavor. The fresh noodles had a lovely chewy texture. I am always down to try new pho places. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and the staff is nice. We tried their wok-seared filet mignon. The broth was flavorful and light, not salty, which I loved. I would probably come get it again. We also tried their vermicelli, B1. The shrimp was pretty good, and the pork was tasty, but they don't put a lot of pork compared to other pho restaurants I've been to. The egg roll was okay... I'm not sure why, but it tasted stale. I love how they served their fish sauce with chili, though! I would come back here for sure. It is also next to Tastea :) and Aquis! read more

FLAVOR (3/5): I've had this place twice and both times I feel like it's lacking a bit of a punch! Growing up eating Vietnamese food all the time this spot doesn't hit the spot as much as other SJ restaurants. I'm not sure if it's the soup, or fish sauce or the meat I can't quite put my tongue on it. INSTAGRAM WORTHY (3/5): The food is presented nicely and the restaurant is very spacious inside! But nothing out of the ordinary. SERVICE (4/5): I think it's my first time having people check on us at a Vietnamese restaurant which was appreciated! Pay at the front. TAKEAWAYS: A tad bit more expensive than your other spots in SJ but a convenient location for anyone near Communications Hills! read more

Food: The pho was fantastic - I had the filet mignon and tendon, and the broth was rich, savory, and full of depth. Every spice had great balance and prominence, with that deep bone broth flavor that feels like literal soup for the soul. They were generous with the basil, sprouts, and lime - none of that stingy garnish nonsense. I went with the regular size (not the large), and it hit just right: not too small, not a food coma. Just perfect. To me, that's generous. Service: Our server was incredibly kind and patient. My mom, who's elderly and likes to ask many questions before ordering, was met with grace and genuine attentiveness. He didn't rush or get impatient - just smiled and rolled with it like a pro. That means a lot to me. Bonus points: I ordered an iced milk coffee, and it was delivered by a little robot waiter. Yes indeed, a robot. Delightfully unexpected and very fun. Ambience: The vibe is clean and modern, with a playful twist. There's a charming collection of Disney knick-knacks at the counter that keeps the vibe light. It's little touches like that (and the robot!) that give the place its own personality. I gave a 5 out of 5 for overall experience being as good as you can get read more

The whole dine-in experience felt very uncomfortable, especially since we were still actively eating.

The lotus root slices were cut fairly thick, so after cooking, it was still undercooked and crunchy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the cleanliness concerns, the order mix-up, and the food quality. There are plenty of ingredient options, but I don't see myself returning.

The restaurant itself is pretty small so the waiters do try to rush you along in order to turn over the tables, but they also worked very hard to make sure your meal was satisfying. They also packed away the left overs in a heat sealed container so it wouldn't spill in the car and keeps for a while in your fridge. Overall a very pleasant experience if you come early enough and don't have to wait in line.

The AYCE runs for 90 minutes and is $24.99 during lunch and $30.95 during dinner time. They also charge for leftover food which is $6 per lb. We ended up doing the normal one pot hot pot for each person. I always get my usual lamb hot pot which already comes with vermicelli noodles and choose rice as my free side dish. There are various levels of spiciness and I chose extra spicy which is a level down from there flaming spicy from what I can recall. Honestly it was not spicy enough but I did not want to get the spiciest level in fear that it would be too oily. Perhaps I will try that the next time to see if it is. They have a bar further in the back of the restaurant where you can get creat your sauce and get some garnishes for your hot pot. I also noticed they have some other sides like noodles and such next to it. It seems if you are not participating in AYCE you can still get sauces and garnishes but I am not sure about the other sides. The interior has changed from the last time I came here and it looks nice! Service was standard and everyone was nice. It does feel more chaotic now that they have AYCE but that is understandable.

I recently visited Pho Now, and it was fantastic! The food came out incredibly fast, and everything was fresh and delicious. The Chicken Noodle Soup was honestly some of the best pho I've ever had, and I highly recommend trying it. I've also had the House Special, which was just as flavorful and satisfying. I ordered a large bowl, and it was more than enough to share with my girlfriend. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. I stopped by for a late lunch and it definitely hit the spot! I ordered the C9, a sizzling plate with grilled beef, shrimp, egg, and spring rolls. It was delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful, and the spring roll sauce was a delightful complement. The wait was minimal, and my meal came out hot and fresh. The service was attentive, kind, and welcoming- it wasn't busy when I visited. The restaurant features ample seating with modern decor and large screens. We got three dishes on a Thursday afternoon so the service was very quick. - Pho: fragrant broth, tender beef, and bouncy noodles. Feels like an 8.5/10. - Bun Thit Nuong: Absolutely sensational as each protein paired well with all of the other ingredients. Their rotating weekly deal brought this down to $15, which is worth it, but probably not at the normal price of $19.99. 8.5/10. - Garlic noodles: Nothing of note here. Would not purchase at $19.99. 6/10. Overall, this place was okay and I'm hopeful that they'll tighten up their recipes. read more

The spring rolls here are super good--fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The dipping sauce makes them even better. The pho is also really tasty with a rich broth, soft noodles, and fresh toppings. It's warm and comforting. The service is great too. The workers are friendly, fast, and always check to make sure everything is okay. They make you feel welcome and taken care of. We've been to Pho Now several times and it's become one of those easy family spots we all agree on. The pho is flavorful, clean, and comforting without being too heavy. Portions are good and service has always been friendly and fast. Most importantly, my daughter likes it too, which honestly says a lot for a pho place. It's hard to find somewhere that works for both adults and kids, but this spot does. My husband likes it, I like it, and we keep coming back. Definitely a solid neighborhood pho spot for a casual family meal. read more

I recently checked out this amazing restaurant thanks to a Yelp event, and I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was super cozy, and the food looked and tasted incredible. We tried the chicken noodle soup and spring rolls (the non-fried ones), and let me tell you, the peanut sauce was to die for! We couldn't get enough of it. They normally close on Wednesday. But today I was feeling eating a hot warm bowl of pho so I decided to look around on yelp and to my surprise they were open. I called to confirm and indeed they were open. I came and they were welcoming and I asked why they want to open on Wednesday. They say it's because they want to serve their community and to customers that want to come on Wednesdays as well. I recommend coming to this restaurant. Food was 10/10, service 10/10, and the atmosphere 10/10 as well! read more
