Yummy Bun!
Toshi I.

Strangely, I didn't notice this place. Its a small cozy place. Stopped by for a quick lunch and ran into a few friends. The bun was great!

I ordered the Bahn Mi #1 and #3. The bread was stale and dry. The meat and was very minimal. For the price I would get a decent sandwich elsewhere. The pork did not taste like anything good and was rubbery.

Nice atmosphere. The soup was a bit salty. But over all it was good. I would definitely come back here to try different items from the menu. They provide fast friendly service.

If you're looking for high-quality meat in your bowl of pho, look no further! This place has the best meat for pho that I've found. We've been eating here since last year, and we've never been disappointed. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the quantity of noodles or vermicelli is generous for the price! I can't speak for the other dishes, as I always stick to their pho.

This spot is like casual casual. It's a sit down, order ur food, and dip kind of restaurant. For one, it's small inside. Second there isn't any music playing so ur kinda just there taking in white noise and think to ur self. U can pay upfront or one of the workers will go to u. So this place isn't ideal if ur looking for something romantic or "fine dining" or fancy kind of vibe. Nothing wrong that. It's like a cute shop or a picnic which I love. Ur just there chilling and eating ur food. The workers are nice and super attentive too. U can tell they mean well and want to make every customer happy which is so heartwarming for me. These dudes are working hard and just trying to earn a living which I respect. Food here tastes good and if u like Pho, u shouldn't be disappointed

Shrimp Spring Rolls GI CUNN TM

I haven't been here for over 4 years so decided to do take out since they have a very small dining area and it's 6 of us. I ordered the Pho brisket and ribeye, pork and egg roll vermicelli, and shrimp spring rolls. Everything was good just not how I remembered it. Maybe it was an off day? Might give them another try?

Rare steak pho... So delicious.

Unfortunately, it seems like they may have changed ownership or management and the dine-in experience is not quite the same. I came in about 7:30 on a Friday. Their website and Yelp page says they're open until 11PM on Friday, but this is not the case. The waitress rushed me to order and pay immediately at the counter. After I sat down, she was turning people away or making them order to go. They should definitely update their posted hours. The food came out extremely fast and was good, but the noodle portion seemed much smaller than it used to be and the rare steak seemed different. The table next to me commented on this as well. They thought maybe it was brisket instead of rare steak but neither of us wanted to say anything as we felt pretty rushed to finish up before 8 as the waitress kept saying they close at 8. Also, I noticed the windows/glass doors were very dirty and smudged, a small detail, but it just seemed like the attention to detail wasn't there like it used to be. Maybe this experience was a fluke? This has always been my favorite Pho spot in the area, so I'll give it another try.

My husband and I are new to town. After an exhausting day unpacking and cleaning we did not feel like dining in. We drove around trying to find something to eat and take away.We came upon this spot tucked inside a strip mall. Menu has just the right amount of choices though I would have liked some spare ribs! We ordered combination pho and combination banh mi and combination fried rice- all deliciously prepared. My husband enjoyed the fresh flavors and I devoured my sandwich. Tomas, the manager was very kind and helpful taking our order. We checked in for the free caramel flan but they were sold out! Will be back to try some other dishes soon.

11. Pho Ribeye
Ross W.

Ribeye pho was really good but the inside is really small and a little hot so we sat at the one table outside right next to the parking lot where there's a decent amount of parking. The food came out pretty quickly and the service was good. The spicy sauce made it pretty hot which I liked!

Menu

This is our second visit to PhoPCH. Have to admit, their pho tai was disappointing this time around. The volume was what other places would consider small and their steak was not very good. The beef was precooked and was very tough and thick with lots of fat on it. Usually it's thinly sliced and raw for the broth to cook it. Also they only had three slices of beef. For $14.75 it wasn't worth it. Their service is still good with him always greeting you and asking if there's anything else you'd need. Be aware that the restaurant is very small with limited seats. Not sure if I'd go back again next time. Plenty of pho places to try with better meat.

How is the pho broth?

The pho broth is the best in town. They make it fresh daily and is slow cooked for long hours to offer all the health benefits. Honestly the best authentic Vietnamese bone broth full of flavor.

Do they use MSG?

YES

I got the nikutama which is one of their best sellers which comes with beef and a soft boiled egg. I loved the taste of the beef and the broth was really delicious. Noodles were cooked to my liking. I wanted to love the tempura bar but I wasn't a fan of my tempura being cold. I prefer it being hot and fresh and since it was just sitting there it got cold after a while. I will definitely be back to have more udon. But maybe skip the tempura bar unless they have an option in which I can order it fresh. Restaurant was spacious and clean. Bathrooms were clean as well.

I appreciate how they have the condiments bar on the side with the ginger/sauces along with the water and take out containers/bags. Also, plenty of parking outside. Our usual not-so-usual go-to for Chinese in the South Bay had been Seashore at Calle Mayor and PCH but I remembered the food being somewhat bland on the last visit several months back. We have also enjoyed Lunasia (for Dim Sum) and Ruiji farther east on PCH but it has been a long time (at least for Ruiji) and the reviews and pictures for Lotus looked really good. I also liked the All-Day Happy Hour! $3 house wines, beer and hot sake as well as the complimentary (and delicious) garlic noodles with $50 purchase ($11.95 value). We ordered the Crispy Crabmeat Cream Cheese Wontons ($10), Spicy Orange Crispy Chicken ($21.95), Kung Pao Chicken ($21.95), Sweet and Sour Pork ($20.95), Beef with Broccoli ($20.95), Mongolian Beef ($21.95) and Crispy Honey Shrimp ($25.95). Yeah, the prices, I know, but again the All-Day Happy Hour and the free noods! The food was a hit...everything was great, fresh ingredients, packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken wasn't spicy so don't worry if that's not your jam...the Mongolian Beef was probably my favorite and the crispy honey shrimp was lightly fried "to perfection". I hate that phrase but it is appropriate here, truly. Service was excellent. The food came out very quickly and our server was fantastic. It was my 87 year old Mom's birthday and they brought out a cheesecake and candle for her too. We did have tons of left-overs so it will go a longer way which helps with the cost. HIGHLY RECOMMEND; they've definitely earned the top Chinese spot for me.

In short, I upped my rating and we'll be back in less than 2 years.

Everything from the flavor to the experience just feels a step above. The (always-vegan) broth is rich and well-balanced, and you can really tell the focus is on quality. One thing I really appreciate is how accommodating they are with customizations. I usually ask for my ramen without nori (seaweed) and skip the egg, and they get it right every time. It might seem like a small detail, but it makes a huge difference not having to send anything back. The atmosphere is also a big plus. It's cozy and inviting, perfect for sitting down and enjoying a warm bowl of ramen. The first time we went it was pretty busy, but it still felt comfortable. The second time, we went earlier in the day and it was quieter, which made the experience even better. At this point, anytime I'm craving ramen, this is where we go. Consistently delicious, customizable, and a great overall vibe; definitely our go-to ramen spot now.
