Very nice people. It is a small mom n' pop restaurant. When you walk in, you sit at any available table. Nothing fancy about this place, the decorations are sparse, the food is very simple but delicious. I sat in any table I desired and the lady came and brought us menus and water cups to start it off. I ordered the chicken pho soup omg it was good. Bad customer service, very, very slow. Call in orders are rarely ready to be pick up at the estimated time they project even after I give them extra minutes. Awful customer service from the direct owner herself. After placing two orders of spring rolls, I asked for extra hot sauce, and the owner wants to go into details with me about how costly it is to make their hot sauce, the ingredients and labor involved. On how her restaurant offers three various of hot sauce. On how she would have to charge me for the extra hot sauce.The very small containers for hot sauce are equivalent to a tablespoon, of course I would need extra hot sauce. Why display various of hot sauce to select from if your only allowed to a very small portion. I told her thanks but no thanks and I am taking my business elsewhere. Me and my boyfriend have gone to plenty of "Pho Spots" and this one is hands down the best we've ever had. The rare steak pho and seafood fried rice w/ basil is to die for! The food is great, but the customer service is what keeps us coming back again and again. We're there at least once a week if not more. Pho Express is highly recommended! I have lived in Corona for 3 years. Me and my husband came here to eat 3 years ago and we fell in love with the food. Over the past year (with the new ownership) this restaurant has gone down hill. The pho broth has very little flavor. If you want any flavor you have to do it yourself with the seasoning. My husband usually gets the shaking beef dish which is supposed to be fillet. Now they use some nasty dried out pale beef that "does not look like beef". Whenever we have dined in we have to ask for drinks. They never ask us if we want a drink. And if you need a refill you have to ask. We came into the restaurant to dine in several weeks ago. There were probably 6 tables that were full. Me and my three friends were sitting at the table for 15 minutes and they never came up to us to even ask if we wanted water. We ended up leaving because we were so upset. The last few times I have gone into the restaurant I noticed a funky smell....kind of similar to a run down bathroom. And, if you look in the back, where they cook, the conditions look horrible. I will not be going back to this place.....and I would caution anyone else. read more

Had the Pho Special with added vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bok choy). Good amount of meats with tasty broth. Just a tad too much salt for my taste, but still very good. Recently went back to this place. It was a HUGE disappointment. Poor customer service. Order was wrong. Broth was watered down. All the stuff I used to like was no longer there. I visited Pho Xpress back in November for the first time, and though I had never even tried any sort of Vietnamese food before, this was a pleasant new experience though. I went with a group of friends who go every Friday, and I shared the Seafood Pho with two others. It was HUGE! I am usually not a big fan of scallops, but this place I actually loved how it tasted. Since then, I have returned many times, and each time Is better and better. The owner is an amazing woman who greets me every time and always remembers a returning face. The place is very well decorated and very clean. It has a number of different areas to sit, high stools, booths, regular height tables. Even the bathroom is nice, and clean; this is always a huge plus in my book. I have yet to have a problem here besides not once have I been able to finish my entire bowl of pho. The service, in my opinion, is great. They just recently hired a new waitress who is both beautiful and personable. I recommend this as a magnificent place for date night, business lunches/dinners, first dates, or any occasion really. I know it has been opened since August and the customer service, the owner, and overall welcoming vibe is what I love in any place I go to eat at. The food is overall delicious! Where else can you get a hot bowl of Pho from a home-made recipe that tastes this fantastic! I've been to other Pho restaurants in the area, and I can't compare pho xpress to anyone else. This is one of me and my kids favorite places to eat in Corona. Great alternative to fast food for busy weeknights. We usually call ahead and order for pick up so the food is ready by the time we get there (usually only takes 10-15 minutes). Our favorites are chicken pho, the pork sandwich & Thai tea with boba. It's a great value for us because me & my two small kids can share an X-large pho, one sandwich & a large tea. The ambiance is not stellar when eating in the restaurant & service has varied (but never bad), however overall it's great food, a good value, I love that we can call ahead for pick up, & my kids love it, so that's worth 5 stars for me. read more

I tried ordering my fried rice and was told i couldnt get that cause everything was "put away already". I use to come here all the time. I just had dinner and I really loved this restaurant.The food is excellant and the portions are large. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. I've been to this place before and it was alright. This last time I went the broth tasted kind of greasy and then when I asked for vegetable egg rolls they brought me egg rolls with meat and when I asked them to take them back the rude male waiter informed me I would still be charged because I took a bite out of it. I explained I don't eat meat but in a very rude manner he said you still took and bite and so I had to pay for the egg rolls. My friend ordered a small bowl of pho and when we were paying the rude waiter said he had to charge him $10 dollars even though his bill $6.30. It's a minimum charge of $10 dollars to put on your card. This was ridiculous. I will NEVER Come here again. Not good pho on top of horrible service. Omg! I really want to love this place. But my goodness! I went in after the lunch rush. There were three tables already finished. The owner, a Vietnamese lady with short hair really needs to work on her customer service skills. I can't believe she owns a resturant with her terrible skills. It took her abt 10 mins. to get me and my husband menus. After that she forgot abt us. She was to busy talking to a lady sitting at a table, she also Kelly going back and fourth from the kitchen, to do what I don't know. A small family came in after abt 15 mins. of us just sitting there. She takes there order after abt 5 mins. Of us being there. We were giving her the benefit of the doubt. But after she came out after putting in there order, she still didn't come to out table. We got up and left after abt 30 mins. Of being there. What a no no! When Im craving for the best of the best vietnamese food I'm thinking grandmas kitchen! Originally, I lived in OC so I never wanted to eat vietnamese food out because they were all the same just different restaurant. If it wasn't made my grandma it was rated average by me so I guess you can say I'm picky. After moving to corona honestly I took all the vietnamese restaurants for granted because now when I want vietnamese I have to go on a mission to find one that's decent and after over a year of yelping and hitting up all the vietnamese joints near me I finally gave pho xpress a try and thank goodness I found it because it sure did hit the spot! I had a regular size bowl of the pho ga. While my bf at the vermicelli grilled pork and egg rolls. I have to give it to them for giving me the best quantity and quality Ive ever eaten at viet joint. Usually places are a hit and miss with how much they put of everything or what the quality of the day was. Pho xpress still isn't grandmas homemade cooking but it's nice to know I can come back to excellent service and good food! I will be back! read more

We are new to the area and this has become our favorite place to eat out. Our family has visited over a dozen Pho restaurants throughout Orange and Riverside Counties and and this is by far our favorite. Their soup is the absolute best. Their sandwiches and fried rice are amazing. We've had their boba drinks, milk coffee, spring rolls, crepe...so many menu items and everything has been delicious. This is one of the most consistently good restaurants I've ever been too, and we're always happy. Our kids, ages 4, 5, and 6, power through their pho like nobody's business. Yeah, sometimes the service is a bit slow, but that is not at all uncommon with small family run businesses. They work their butts off here. Some places are slow because the staff is lounging around. That's not the case here. They work hard to offer you great food. The people there are friendly, the place is always clean, and the food is incredible. :) read more

Went in today for the first time. It wasn't the 35-45 minute wait for a bowl of soup that bothered me, It was the fact that the owner or front lady person allowed non employees aka regular customers to serve themselves behind the counter and in the kitchen. These customers were also serving other customers. When confronted about it being a potential sanitation and liability issue the owner just laughed and said she didn't know non employees weren't allowed to walk through her kitchen and serve themselves. She said they weren't prepping the food. But is it okay to touch the serving plates, bowls, utensils, and refill orders, not wash your hands, and wear flip flops. Oh wait your not a regular employee so I guess its okay. The owner said they were being helpful because she was busy. I don't understand how you can have a restaurant business license and know nothing about regulations, or even common sense. read more
