I came here on a Sunday Afternoon with three other people. Wait time wasn't long, maybe 10 minutes at most. The place is small that they jam all the table close together. Literally jame the table side by side. It was so busy, that the workers are so disorganized. There was no system as to who was in charge to what table. No one came by to take our order, so we waited for another 5 mintues until we had to flag someone down. The guy that took our order was awful. He got our order wrong even after we repeatly said it back to him. So, we told him what we wanted, repeated it to him before he submitted it to the cook, and still manage to get it wrong. We all order pho combination- tasted bland like there's no seasoning (a lot of people on yelp, said its the best pho they had, apparently they need to venture out further, because this clearly isn't the best pho), ice coffee and water which we didn't get until we were finish with the pho, we waited forever just for water, and lastly, we got our egg roll in a to go box which we never ask for. To add on, my boyfriend son order Thai ice tea. He said its awful one of the worst thai ice tea he had. He's 10 and pretty much consume anything sweet. So, service is awful, food is not great, seating is very closed together, and parking lot is small. I do no recommend this PHO TASTY TO ANYONE. ITS NOT PHO TASTY AT ALL. read more

DONT COME HERE I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The first time I went they messed up my order. They told me if I come in another day they'll gladly make it again for me. I come in today and they mess up my order AGAIN. I tell them the mistake they made and I can tell they got annoyed. They even got mad at us because my child took some chopsticks that had been laying out FOR CUSTOMERS. They said if we wanted chopsticks we needed to ask. What was the my point of leaving them out? Came here with the wife and little one. Had the well done brisket pho and it was delicious. Also had the pork spring rolls and that was pretty good as well. What surprised me about this place is the great and friendly customer service where you probably won't find in many other Vietnamese restaurants (possibly stereotyping but hey, it's true!). mmmmmm..... I was driving by this place, saw the parking lot was crowded and there was a group waiting outside and decided to stop by and try it out!!! It probably took 5 minutes or so for me to get a place in the lot (but I was about to park either on the street and walk back or at the ranch market on the north side of this spot). It was another 10 minutes before we got a table. We ordered two bowls of the Tofu and Broccoli Pho, 1 bowl of the 4 Meats Pho, and 1 appetizer of Vegetarian Rolls (with tofu). Final price with tax and tip ended up being about $30. The soup was GOOD and the service was decent. We were sat promptly, and they were quick about getting me a high chair and bringing a small bowl (with unbreakable silverware!) for my little one. There is a kids' menu here (look on the last page on the bottom right side) and stuff is easy to share and easy to parcel out for the littles (if you choose to not go the kids menu route). All that being said - if you are here, there is an assumption that you KNOW what pho is and how you are supposed to eat it (if you don't know before you get here, you better ask someone who DOES know because the people here will not help you unless maybe you specifically ask them)... Personally, I know - but if the two people I came here with would have come without me, they would have been lost and would not have had the full pho experience and that would have been a sad thing. Also - this place is busy and the table turnover is fast! This is not the spot where you are going to have a long leisurely lunch and then sit over dessert for another hour talking. By far my favorite pho place. I've eaten plenty of pho (probably once a week) and this place always delivers the best pho. It's savory and not fatty and they give you A LOT of meat so well worth the price. Also on the topic of price this place is way more affordable than other pho places. Very friendly to the baby and us. The outside was heated so it was nice aswell and it was open on christmas. Nice food aswell. The beef fried rice had a lot of beef and the pho was really good my baby brother liked it alot. For good Pho outside of Little Saigon, this is it. I'm very picky when it comes to Pho, but this is good stuff! The prices are good. About the same price of what you can get in Little Saigon. The service is good. Much friendlier than that of hardcore Pho places. And you get your food FAST. Typical of Vietnamese restaurants, but very important in my book. The wife spotted this place while out running some errands, and we decided to try it on a Sunday evening. The have a large parking lot that was fairly full when we showed up. It was obvious why when we got inside the restaurant. We got the last table available, people that arrived after us had to wait to be seated. When we got our food we could see why this place was so popular. We both ordered the charbroiled chicken Pho. The chicken is grilled on skewer and brought on a separate plate. We both cut up the chicken and toss it in with the Pho. While this was not the best Pho I've ever had, it was close. The service was super quick. Seeing as how this place is only a 5 minute drive from our house I expect that we will be frequenting this place. A By the way they have 4 or 5 tables that are outside on a covered patio. This place is alright, with all the reviews I was expecting the best Pho I've ever had, it was good but definitely not the best. Maybe you always need to go to Westminster to get the best Pho. We also ordered spring rolls and was immediately turned off when they served it with straight hoisin (horrible straight) instead of peanut sauce. We actually ordered the pork spring rolls too before tasting the hoisin, first time EVER we didn't finish, it just needs the peanut sauce. Overall we most likely will not be back. Yum always happy with the pho here! It can get pretty crowded in the evenings. But we came later and had no problem getting a seat in their patio area. They have a tarp down, so it keeps it pretty warm, even in the winter. Their portions are generous and the pho broth is delicious! Sooo flavorful! My mom really has ruined pho for me--She's somehow perfected her concoction and it feels simply wrong to eat restaurant pho. That being said, it's freezing and my mom's in Vietnam for 2 months and I'm having wild cravings. And to be honest, when it's cold--i'm pretty lazy and I'm simply not too keen on leaving my warm apartment. But my boyfriend makes puppy eyes and we venture out to Pho Tasty. It's close and it's open rather late. With great hesitation, I order the pho tai with tendon. And I was pleasantly surprised--it was quite good. The rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth and remained quite tender. The tendon was also done really well--still chewy and not at all gooey. The best part? They don't skimp on the tendon--I hate it when you order tendon and only get one small piece the size of my thumb. When I'm in the mood for Pho, I usually go for a tendon and beef combo of some kind. Here it is the #7, Rare Steak & Tendon. The tendon was cut up into huge squares, and the steak didn't disappoint. I always load up on the add ins - Sriracha, Hoisin, Chili sauce, jalapeno, sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, and lime. The more the merrier. Their egg rolls are pretty good, and you can order them "plain" meaning no extra noodles or lettuce. Those extra accoutrements usually just end up being garnish, so I was happy to skip em and not waste food. I like extras in my pho, but not my egg rolls. I was sad to see no Banh Mi on the menu, but you can get those anywhere nowadays. Service is quick, friendly, and just funny enough to crack a smile. Parking is tight, and the hours aren't terribly late. But if you can make it in before 9, it's a great place for a bowl of soup. read more

Always good service, and always good food. It never disappoints. I love that the soup isn't too fatty, and still has some flavor to it... I've been coming here with friends/family for more than 10 years and the workers have never changed! (although I think the owner changed since it used to be called Superbowl) I love that on days I come in super hungover, they know to bring me water extremely quick and take my order so I can be cured by the magic of Pho. I usually go with Pho with rare steak, brisket, and tripe or some variation of those 3. The soup is delicious and they give you hearty portions of meat. Outside of Little Saigon, I think Pho Tasty serves the best pho. At $5 for a regular bowl and $5.75 for a large bowl, you can't really beat the value. I'm always left in a predictament when i go to Pho joints, should i get the pho, bun or rice dish? I look around and always see people scarfing down pho so i opt for the same. I know if order the bun or pork i wish I had ordered the pho and vice versa. Thats why I try to persuade my DC (dining companion) to order the opposite. #7 Super Pho Tai -- good. Noodles were softer than what I am normally use to. Still chewy - just a different kind of chew. Flavorful broth. A bit oily. Charbroiled Chicken over Butter Rice -- delicious! Love that the rice is slightly flavored rather than just plain white rice. Combined with their sauce, I thought this dish was particularly savory and good. The charbroiled chicken was tender and not dry. Very flavorful dish, especially with the sauce they provide. This place is really good! So are the prices, definitely affordable and worth your buck. One time I went the soup was a little bland though, but every other visit was fine. The Thai tea is really good too, just maybe a little small since it was in a really small sundae looking glass. The wait can get up to 30 minutes for dinner but it's not that bad, just takes patience. The parking can get a little annoying though since it is clustered (private lot), but if you wait for a customer who's done just follow them. They give you plenty of lime though and good portions with flavorful broth! I always recommend coming here for good pho (better than places in Westminister)! read more

Came here on a Wednesday night and it was crowded; it was about a 20 minute wait for two people. Waiters are very hands off and don't coddle you, which is to be expected from an asian restaurant. Tasted extra delicious today bc it was rainy! This place can definitely get busy, especially for lunch. Prepare ahead of time; the parking lot is pretty small! We came a little before lunchtime, which was perfect and got a seat immediately. We ordered two No. 6 regulars bc it had the most toppings (steak, brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, & meatballs). The hot pho came out super quick! The broth was also not super salty (MSG-heavy). And, the regular was a great portion. There are other pho joints that give very little for the smaller bowl-- not the case here. I was full and happy when I left. Also, the service was pretty good. They refilled my water and did not push me to leave (i.e. hand me the bill super early into the meal). The prices were also very reasonable. My dad suggested this phò place and it seemed like it had pretty decent reviews so be headed overt there instead of sitting in LA traffic. We got there and it was semi-full with a few four tops eating. We got seated immediately and we already knew what we were going to order. We got 2 dác bièt which is the combo pho with all of the meat. The food came out 1-2 minutes after we ordered it which is pretty fast for a phò places. The broth was nice and rich but wasn't that thick or fatty which some pho places have. The noodles were cooked right and all the ingredients worked together. I've been coming to this Pho place for about 8 years now, before Yelp was even invented. And this was probably a time that Pho wasn't as popular as now. Even though they have remodeled the place and maybe changed a couple of the waiters/waitresses, they still manage to make their Pho as amazing as before, have super fast service, and have a very clean restaurant. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try the EGG ROLLS. They are the best I've ever had, and I've had Vietnamese egg rolls at several restaurants. * 3.5 Stars * ORDERED: 1.) Pho with Rare Steak and Tendon (3 Stars) I got my soup as usual without the cilantro. I usually taste the broth before I start adding different condiments and veggies, and I found the broth just ok. I'm a big fan of tendon, and I always look forward to a fall-off-the-bone texture of the tendon. But almost all of the tendon pieces in my Pho were tough and inedible. It was all undercooked and I didn't enjoy my Pho that much. 2.) Fried Eggrolls (5 Stars) The eggroll was delicious! As always, I enjoy a nice crunchy eggroll wrapped in lettuce and dipped in sweet and savory nuoc mam :) 3.) Avocado Shake (5 Stars) My brother actually ordered this but I had a few sips and it was very delicious! 4.) Durian Shake (4 Stars) My mom ordered this and said it had a weak taste of durian and she prefers a very strong flavor. She didn't like it and handed it to me. I, on the other hand, hate the durian smell and the strong flavor but this shake was tolerable and tasted a little bit like mango shake. To me, this drink was good because the strong pungent durian flavor was toned down. But for those who love real durian shakes, this isn't what you want to get. SERVICE: (3 Stars) This place gets very crowded! I came here for lunch and we only waited for about 10 minutes or less so it wasn't as bad.
