I came here right before starting a road trip, and it was the just the nutritious, yummy meal I needed before I ventured into the countryside. I was debating between a 4 or 5, and ultimately I decided 5 because the food was great. However, the service could have been better. When I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, it was mostly empty and I wasn't greeted/acknowledged for a few minutes. I was a bit confused how seating worked/if the place was even serving food until the woman running the front finished her conversation with someone else (unclear if they were a customer since they weren't eating anything) a few minutes after I arrived. When I had the waitress/manager's attention, she was great but it was hard getting her attention, and I would have to repeat certain requests. More customers arrived after us so it was understandable, but it would have been nice to have been directed on what to do when the restaurant was empty on arrival. As for the ambiance, it was nothing fancy but the tables were clean and it was not too cramped. Overall I would recommend this place for pho! The food on the menu looked so good! I had to try it! I ordered a lot today as I just didn't know what I really wanted. I got the bun bo hue, clay pot pork, chicken lemon grass, and egg noodle stir fry. For appetizer I got the nem nuong. Everything was OK. I was disappointed in my pork bc it was spoiled. It tasted like old meat. The egg noodles in my dish was so soft and overcooked. This is one of my favorite dishes for asian cuisine but this place made me say "NO". The savior of the day, the chicken lemon grass. The chicken lemongrass was one of the best I ever had. It was so flavorful. Good oily consistency and just fused with goodness! My husband enjoyed his bun bo hue but for me I needed more flavors. One thing about this place is that the banh mi was excellent and decently priced. I got a thit nguoi and it was delicious at 6$. Too bad 4 hours later it tasted spoiled. I would come again to try other things and maybe give it a second chance. read more

Service was just ok, owner/ server didn't look like she was too interested in talking about any specials/dishes for the night. We must have interrupted her dinner break cuz she was eating when we arrived. She just asked if we were local and that was it. Sister got the $28 short rib pho & I got the combo pho. The broth was lightly flavored & I needed to add fish sauce, the broth didn't come out piping hot either. Some of my meat and tendon were still cold & not heated through. Fried calamari tasted delicious but it wasn't cooked to crisp & became soggy when it hit our table. Steamed shrimp and pork dumpling was just ok. read more

One of those Mom and Pop places for pho in Vegas! It's a bit difficult to get to this place due to the tight parking but it's worth visiting if you can find spots!! Upon walking in, we initially thought that they didn't do dining due to the empty seating and lack of workers at the front. After walking around and checking the grocery area, a man asked us if we wanted to order. We were seated and then given cold water. They had unusually tall glasses of water. We then ordered two bowls of Rare Steak and Beef Ball pho which came within a few minutes. Pho Review: The veggie topping was fresh and had very few wilted mung beans/basil leaves. This is something to look for when eating pho. We also noticed that they added black pepper to the pho. The soup itself was fragrant and hearty, it was well made with a perfect balance spice and bone broth. Beef balls are my favorite type of meat with pho. Although the taste is always immaculate, they were sadly very chewy and had hard cartilage pieces in the meatballs-- not just in my bowl but in my bf's bowl as well. Taking off a star for that reason. :( My boyfriend also ordered a banh mi, to which he said he enjoyed. The bread was crunchy and he liked the meat. Pho Thanh is a hidden gem in the heart of Chinatown, located on Spring Mt and Decatur. They serve authentic and delicious pho at a very affordable price, which is a rarity in today's market of overly inflated everything. We always go for their lesser-known buy-one-get-one pho deal, and pair it with a side of shrimp spring rolls for a satisfying and reasonably priced dinner. Their pho is packed with ingredients (I love the tender tendons) and the broth is just comforting especially now that Las Vegas is starting to get cooler. The restaurant ambience is very casual and homey and the sole lady taking orders is quite nice and friendly, adding to the overall relaxing dining experience. This place is definitely one of our favorite pho spots in town and we hope they stick around for a long time! read more

One of my go to pho places! It is a long drive away from my area for pho but it's worth it. I usually order noodles with rare beef & brisket with a side of spring rolls. The last time I was here, my friend and I tried a few other plates and I'm not sure if I liked the texture too much. It was a little bland Although the service can be a little slow depending on the day, I'm very patient when it comes to pho! Came here from a you tuber that said food was good. This place is half restaurant, and part of it has few Vietnamese groceries for sale. I ordered #26 Pho Tai Nam Gan, (noodles, rare beef, flank,and tendon), the server said they were out of tendon so said it was ok just give me the soup. Order #3 Nem Cuon, (pork patty roll), #8 Banh Khot, (Vietnamese mini pancakes fried / shrimp. The soup had little flavor and the cooked beef was so chewable it was inedible, the pork patty roll with a peanut dipping sauce was the only item that past grade, #8 Banh Khot (Vietnamese mini pancakes / shrimp fried), this dish the pancakes were under cooked and very oily. We told and show server the meat was inedible and the pancakes was greasy and under cooked. When to pay they show no concern what we showed that was inedible. read more

This place is open 7 days a week and closes at 2am daily. That's the real draw of this place. Looking for some comfort food, our group venture out to this establishment on a late Friday night. Our team orders a variety of food to try. They have a very wide menu, offering some interesting vegan stuff. Compared to other late night pho places in the vegas valley, i would say the prices are fair. Some things we ordered were pho dishes, bun rieu, banh khot, banh mi, and banh cuon. The pho broth was pretty clean tasting to us (not oily), the bun rieu was decent, the banh mi was ok, and banh khot was nice and crispy. Can't really mess up on banh cuon to be honest. Service was friendly and quick, not sure because of the hour but felt like the cook and owner came out to help our large party. Even though the place is some what crammed, it honestly feels like home. It feels like your OG viet restaurant/aunties house. They even have the big calculator to tally up your total at the register. To me, it felt like the old school restaurants I used to go to with my family. If you are looking for some late night comfort food and don't want to pay kim long prices, then I recommend this place. The owner got defensive in the portion they gave in the togo order and make you sound like you are trying to get additional portions for free. After eating here 3x last week you would figure they would treat you decently. Grilled beef also taste Inconsistent from previous order. Beware of take out portions.
