Spring rolls got the nice crunch in the middle. Pho was good. I got the special pho with the rib. Service was pretty fast. It's newer inside

ordered #11 and #13 with spring rolls.

The service here was so quick, and the gentlemen who took our order took it super fast but brought everything back accurately. The restaurant was pretty quiet but perfect for just eating and enjoying your company. They offer the thin noodles or fresh noodles, but do not offer the egg noodles. I ordered #13 with the fresh noodles, it was good!! 8/10 in my opinion. My boyfriend order a #11, and we shared spring rolls as an appetizer. Would definitely recommend this place for quick dinning that's still able to satisfy someone's pho craving!

Service was good, both staff were very nice. Clean and spacious. A little pricey, but I think a lot of places around here are pricey nowadays.

The special rice plate with grilled chicken it's very good I'd order it again

This place is delicious I love their pho especially the one with the large bone- clean broth tons of onions I'm here for it. I also think their broth is less salt forward and more actual bone broth

This place is modern and spacious. There's a decent amount of parking in the plaza. There's a variety of different rice and noodle dishes. The portion sizes here are pretty good as well. The service is pretty good and the staff was friendly. Their combo pho was enjoyable and tasty. The broth was rich and flavorful. They serve the thick and thin noodles here. I like the amount of onions they put in the soup. They also have their own special chili sauce.

I'm sort of on an escapade to try different Pho places every week. This place has been here for a while so I decided why not go? I ordered a number 10 Pho and enjoyed the dish with delight. The flavor is about as good as anywhere else, you can consider it a fair purchase. Personally I find Pho Thin has the largest bowl sizes even without picking species sizes. Besides the usual, it's a regular restaurant with enough room to move around.

This place has the stamp of approval from me and my Vietnamese dad. Their pho is so good. There are not too many northern style pho places so it's nice to have this as an option. The northern style has a lot of green onions which I love. The one I got also cooks the meat with garlic which gives it a nice taste. The worker's are very sweet and are helpful when you have questions. I would definitely give this place a try if you've never had northern style pho before.

I took my north Vietnamese momma here and she said it is definitely not northern style since the broth was too sweet. Cua rang be (northern style square eggrolls) - this took forever to come out, and then it was an oily mess on the outside and frozen on the inside. We had to send it back. I don't think their oil was hot enough. Their special stir fry beef pho - the meat was in hard clumps, and not seasoned. Difficult to chew through. My mom ended up leaving all the meat since she couldn't chew through it. Gau bo vien- gau (fatty brisket) super hard to chew through. Bo vien was average. The fresh noodles were amazing, as well as the house made hot sauce. Also the little man who was our server was really sweet.

Neighborhood spot that has Viet clients which is a good sign. Large spacious interior with booths. I have been here few times and I usually order the seared flank steak Pho with bits of garlic in there too... luv that they use plenty of scallions, quality is good and you get a side of sliced white onions with your pho, drizzle some hot sauce on there and take some with each spoonful... Next level flavors! Service is quick as usual in Pho spots, decor is a bit more ritzy with lighting accents. It's not the east side level but good enough for Milpitians...

Brisket and steak pho with fresh noodles and extra bowl to share. Chili paste (not sauce) and onions came free!

The restaurant itself is modern and air-conditioned! Not a huge crowd here because it's tucked away in a hidden plaza, but if anyone frequents the new Pinoy BBQ, I highly suggest checking this pho joint out. Hot sauce and hoisin are in cute porcelain jars. Not sure why that matters but I feel like it takes effort to maintain cleanliness, plus the aesthetic is A+. Aaaaand in fact the hot sauce is ground chili paste, not sriracha. Appreciated! We shared the brisket and steak pho with fresh, wide noodles. The broth was perfectly seasoned, brisket was tender, and since I asked for the steak on the side, so it was done -- with beautiful presentation in mind. Onions were in a sweet vinaigrette (not just vinegar) which is something other restaurants charge extra for. WIN! Insofar as service, I appreciate having ordered just the run-of-the-mill, cheapest pho option and not feeling judged for asked for a small, empty bowl for teh sharingz of teh foodz. Melikes.

Soup is great and service was fast (came at 2 pm on a Friday so plenty of seating). Solid bowl of pho, definitely would come again to try their broken rice (the rice plates other people got looked really good). Edit; also ordered a Thai tea and it got to me in five seconds

I have never been to Vietnam, but I tend to lean towards pho bac (Northern-style pho) whenever applicable. I like Dac Phuc, Pho Ha Noi, and Pho Co. When my family makes pho, it's always Northern -style. I cannot get my broth to taste like that. Something I continuously work on. Anyway. I don't get to be by myself much. When I do, I like to eat out by myself. I also like trying new restaurants so this past Saturday after dropping Gavin off to hangout w/ my cousin for a bit, I decided to try this place. This restaurant is took over Com Tam Thien Huong. It is across the street from Fosters Freeze. Clean restaurant. Staff ready to seat you and assist w/ your order. Service was incredibly fast. I didn't get to savior any silence during my time there. I ordered the #1: stir-fried sauté steak soup and an order of their dau chao quay (Chinese savory donut twists). The broth was clean, clear, light aromatics. I can taste the ginger. The sauté steak was tender. The dau chao quay was cripsy, light, and a touch of chewiness. I enjoyed their house made hot sauce. My broth is usually red but since I have never had this, I went mild to save my stomach. It wasn't spicy to me though but that is because I scooped a kid's portion of it into my broth. The pickled onions balanced all of the flavors together wonderfully. I will be back!

Food also took another 15+ minutes. It wasn't particularly busy but there were only 2 waiters. Also, they do not clean up the tables around you. The most impressive aspect of dining here is the freshness of the produce. A lot of their main entrees are paired with a platter of herbs and lettuce which always taste insanely fresh, as well as a plate of pickled carrots and radish, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. Using the provided rice paper to make your perfect rice rolls with your choice of protein is not only really amusing, but seriously so delicious because you get to make the rice rolls exactly how you like it! My favorite appetizers include the Banh Xeo and the Cha Gio (they have 2 variants and they're both great)! As for entrees, I almost always order from their Banh Hoi options. Banh Hoi is a sheet formed from layered rice noodles and it's always the perfect compliment to their various meat options when placed inside the rice rolls. If you ever come with a big group of friends and family, order a catfish! It comes with the same previously mentioned herbs and vegetables and having a group of friends digging into a whole roasted catfish is such a life altering experience. The catfish varies in market price based on the weight of the fish, and depending on how big your group is, you might just be able to finish the whole thing! The kitchen cooks it to such a delectable tender doneness and they top it with fresh garnishes and fried onions, giving it a delicious aroma. If you're ever in the Milpitas area, I recommend you check out Anh Hong Saigon! The front of house employees are super efficient and the food always comes out so fast and so consistent.

Yes, it's definitely worth going to if you've never had Vietnamese beef 7 ways or baked catfish…read more There's not many of these types of restaurants around. General for celebratory reasons and it originated from the south as well. You can find many other Vietnamese cuisine out there, but unless you have a bigger Vietnamese population, this is a much more rare find. So when our friend from NY was visiting for Fanime, we had to get this. Though, I will say this to start with, nothing can ever beat my dear Thien An Bo 7 Mon from SoCal. I'm biased and I'm not afraid to say it, but I know that NorCal is lacking in many ways and with that in mind, it makes sense that the prices are higher (rent and costs of operation are much higher in NorCal, I'm sure) and the other differences as well. Regardless, the service was attentive and welcoming and they even chased my bf outside to his car when he foolishly left his card in the restaurant. There is a policy that the 7 course beef is 1 order per person and minimum 2 orders. I have not seen that in SoCal and they let us grossly share 1 order between 3 people, but things might have changed. With that in mind, 2 orders split between 3 people was more than enough. For drinks, my boyfriend got some local brewed IPA and when I sent my dad the picture (he's a Viet refugee), he immediately got triggered by the year that was on the can before I explained to him the origins that were on the label. I got a soda chanh muoi (salted lemon sparkling water and you pour the sparkling soda water from a cold can yourself into the mix in a glass). Refreshing and a sharp salty sour bite in between courses. The 7 course beef came as it would any other restaurant that does it: 1) Goi Bo (House Special Beef Salad) 2) Bo Nhung Dam (Beef in Wine Vinegar Fondue) -Not sure why it's translated this way but it's raw beef slices that have been seasoned in vinegar with some onions on top and you cook it in a hot pot broth. 3) Bo Cha Dum (Steamed Beef Patty) 4) Bo Cuon No Chai (Grilled Beef Sausages) 5) Bo Cuon La Lot (Beef wrapped in Lot leaf) -Easily the favorite of the table. You can never go wrong with leaf wrapped meats as you can see that it is a worldwide dish and phenomenon regardless of the protein and the vegetation used. -Savory and a bit smoky with a kick from the leaves. Good stuff. 6) Bo Nuong Xa (Beef roll with onion and lemon grass) 7) Chao Bo (Beef porridge) - the version I had in SoCal had cute beef alphabet and star pasta soup and I'm not the biggest fan of porridge so this was just okay to me. All the beef was seasoned well and moist, not too dry or tough. Definitely more than enough to share especially with the generous amount of rice paper and veggies to roll in. Again, just my qualm because I'll always compare every Viet 7 beef course with my OG in SoCal, but they had a vertical rice paper water rolling dish that made it easier to wet the rice paper without it getting soggy and without the water getting gross or the bowl taking up too much space. We additionally got vermicelli noodles to stuff our rolls too, which would have been nice to add a little bit of carbs into our meal, but if you're more into protein and veggies, this was good. Overall not bad and a must to try at least once.

Service couple be a little more attentive, but we were low-maintenance. It took awhile for us to get our water filled and to-go boxes, but we were not in a hurry. I would love to try more of the menu next time.

I ordered the sticky rice shaken beef to-go, and while the portion looks pretty generous in the…read morepictures, I was a little surprised by how small it actually was in person. The beef was flavorful and well-seasoned, but it wasn't as tender as other shaken beef dishes I've had. The texture was more on the chewy/crunchy side, and there also weren't a ton of pieces of meat. For around $20, I felt like it was a bit on the pricier side for the portion. That being said, the flavor was really good! I also appreciated that they included a little pâté on the side, and the sauce that came with the dish was delicious. I just wish there were a little more meat and that it was more tender. Overall, a tasty dish, but I'm not sure the portion quite matched the price.

Food is great. I especially like the beef stew and I keep coming back for it. Unfortunately,…read moreeverytime we eat here, it seems the old man has something against us. Came in around midnight after the Usher concert. When we walked in the place was full so we were told to wait. Then while waiting a bunch of other groups started coming in. When the lady owner told us to go to table 20 the old man stopped and us and scolded us stating this table was supposed to be for another group that was there first. We told him the lady told us to go there. He then went all the way to the front to confirm in which the lady told him exactly what we told him. All the other groups behind us were then sat but the old man literally took everyone else's order but our table. The lady owner signaled to him multiple times to take our but he never did. So she ended up taking our order. By the time our table got our food some of those other parties have already finished their meal. They then served everyone at my table except me. They then served me the wrong order and I told them I ordered beef stew. When the stew finally came the rest of my table was already done eating. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, given the past experience with the old man, this was the tipping point.
