Saw this as I was searching for something new to try with my husband for lunch.. the restaurant is small and a bit bare but is welcoming. Service was quick and friendly. My husband and I tried the chicken pho, the shrimp rolls and I had a green Thai tea The shrimp roll is delicious! Hard to mess that up really. The chicken pho was ok.. it was on the bland side but ok. The green Thai tea was delicious! I rarely see any place serve Thai green tea so when it's on the menu it's a must for me to order lol Over all the food was good .. I will be back to try the beef pho one of these days

We stopped in this week and finally tried this restaurant. Super clean, friendly staff and very personable owner. We were completely blown away. My mom is in chemo and needed clean, tasty broth and she was not disappointed. Every dish was so good. 5* I didn't get any pictures because I bought the food for my mom and dad. The one thing I did eat was the Bahn mi, and I loved it too. The pickled veg was a lil sweet and went well with the jalapeno and pork. We'll be back!

3.5 stars, rounding up to 4 since they're new. I saw this place on Yelp when I first opened the app. I was looking for dinner and this place got good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I was excited for the green Thai tea, which was the only thing that didn't disappoint. Wish it came out before my food though. Pho was very small. Their large felt like a small at other places. It was expensive for the size. $15 for a small and $18 for a large. Both my partner and I felt that it was oily and lacked flavor. Meat was also lacking. I got 6 slices of rare steak in my small. Luckily, I'm not big of meat so I didn't mind. But, it felt like a poor value to us. Spring rolls came out last. They were a bit hard for me to chew, particularly towards the end. They were looser than i like, making them a bit messier. I didn't care for the peanut sauce.. too watery and lacking dimension imo. I really liked that they had bbq pork as an option though, unlike the typical pink-colored grilled pork. I had pickled veggies added, so it was like a vermicelli bowl in a roll. I think maybe having a fish sauce-type sauce (like the orange sauce from Quan Nem Ninh Hoa) would be a nice option. Decent, but a bit disappointing. I didnt even know this little shopping strip was back here lol. Small-ish parking lot, but didn't have a problem getting a space right out front. It's next to a liquor store, so the parking lot can seem a bit sketch at times. But I never felt unsafe. Service was good. Friendly and checked in a couple times. Food/drinks came a bit out of order, but wait wasn't too long. I wanted to love this place.. unfortunately, I don't.. yet. I would like to come back in the future and give them another. So, I really hope they're able to survive and improve/expand their options.

This is a new Vietnamese restaurant that's small, quaint, and tucked into a quieter strip mall--easy to miss, but worth stopping by. I ordered the rare beef pho and the flavor was ok. Pricing is about average for pho. I ordered a small, which came with around five pieces of beef--definitely my mistake. I was still a bit hungry afterward and would go large next time. The small IMO is too small. Service was quick and very friendly, which always makes a difference, especially for a new place. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, with a simple, cozy feel. Overall, a nice addition to the neighborhood. I'd come back and try more items on the menu. Hope they thrive, there are a few Vietnamese restaurants with a 1 mile radius and 1 of the neighboring Vietnamese restaurant was a Michelin Mentione 2025.

Amazing service. Best Pho in town hands down. Must see. Must try. Place does not look like much from outside but inside the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, vibing and exceptionally clean.

Delicious Rare Pho with Shrimp Egg rolls fried to perfection!!!!

I ordered the Rare Pho with Shrimp Egg rolls which were fried to perfection!!!! I was greeted immediately. I was provided water with my menu (which I very much appreciate). Not many places do that anymore. The food came out piping hot. The server was attentive by refilling my water. The owner introduced himself and thanked me personally for coming in On occasion I work off of Armstrong. When I do, I will definitely come back with company.

    #1 combo

Great service and even better food. You can taste everything that the broth offers, comfort, cleanliness, richness, etc. staff is super caring, will check up on you, cater you extra goodies like orange slices! (Haven't seen that one before). Overall 10/10 with the small family restaurant

    Abundant additions!

The pho was BOSS! I got a #7 rare beef, my husband got the #1 combo- the broth was full of flavor, piping hot and aromatic, the beef was perfect and the accoutrements really let us customize to our tastes. Chili sauce, hoisin, sriracha, fish sauce and pickled jalapeño in addition to the classic sprouts/basil/fresh jalapeño/citrus plate. Everything was so fresh! Hot tea and shrimp fresh rolls with peanut sauce rounded everything out. I see now that they just opened and we went at lunchtime. Fong (sp?) was super friendly, checked on us appropriately and food was served promptly (you could easily eat here on your lunch hour). The cute woven baskets on the walls and woven lampshades give a laid back feeling, as pho vibes should be. The booth was comfy and my husband and I were able to sit next to each other which is always nice, the whole place is pretty intimate in a good way. Was a little chilly inside at first, but just bring a sweater to wear until you get your hot soup and add copious amounts of chili oil, you'll be warm in no time. You're gonna want to eat here.

    #3 PHO

New Spot alert! Super cute and clean Pho restaurant.. they are super friendly and welcoming. I ordered #3 small Pho and it was delicious and the serving size was more than enough for me. The meat was fresh and tender and the broth was just so savory and delicious. I really have to say this was one of the best Pho's I ever had. Please give them a shot.. you will not me disappointed!! Pair it with a rich, flavorful bowl of Mi Quang, and you're in food heaven. Try their bun cha ca, vermicelli noodles w fish cake super light and excellent broth! I also like their banh xeo here, very crispy and the right amount of veggies. PRO-TIP YOU NEED TO TRY: Don't sleep on their appetizer menu! Stop by TK Noodles down the street first, grab some chicharrones to-go, and sprinkle them right on top of the Banh Beo here. Total game changer! Try something else besides pho, I love pho but Vietnamese cuisine has many distinct soup dishes when you factor in regional variations, unique broths, and different noodle types. If you look past phở, Vietnamese soups generally fall into a few massive, distinct categories based on how the broth is built and what kind of noodle is used.

The dipping sauce lacked flavor and the color was a bit off-putting. For ~$4 a roll, I was hoping for more. Banh Hoi Chao Tom: There was a crispy exterior to my chao tom, but it definitely looked way different than I know chao tom to be. I'm used to the sugarcane inside the patty to infuse it with the sweetness and aroma, but here my sugarcane sticks were kinda just laying there on my plate (lol). There also isn't much shrimp in the mixture so the chao tom truly lacked excitement. There was no complexity of flavor.. just crispy-ness which carried the dish. Overall, 4/10.

We felt transported back to Vietnam when we sipped the sugarcane and calamansi juice. If they have it (listed seasonal on the menu), try it! The broken rice plates also remind me of the places my mom took me to in Westminster and Garden Grove growing up. The accompaniments(hanh mo), whole Thai chilies, and chicken broth are signs of the authenticity. Meats are marinated and grilled nicely too. Everything is so so good. Support this place and family. We ordered the combo pho, and the broth was surprisingly bland & lacking the depth and richness you'd expect. The meat was tough, there was barely any tripe, and no tendon at all, which was disappointing for a "combo." I also requested less noodles, but that adjustment was mistakenly given to my husband's bowl instead. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the overall experience. That said, the menu offers a wide variety of broken rice dishes, so it seems like that might be more of their specialty. If I were to return, I'd probably try one of those instead of the pho.

We mixed our fish sauce with the chili sauce and this was so good. I wish it came with a little bit more veggies as I like to lettuce wrap my cha gio. Banh Cuon combo plate was also very good but the banh cuon was absolutely the best part - next time I would just order a plate of only the rice rolls! Banh Xeo took a bit longer to come out but it was very large and seemed like a popular menu item as we saw other tables order this. Inside has spacious table seating, some with booth and good lighting inside. There was ballad vietnamese music video playing. The restaurant was not busy and there were elderly men at the tables playing cards and some at another table they were chatting & drinking. Im not sure if they hold karaoke or have live bands but there is a stage with music instruments and a projector with installed party lights. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away. It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water.
