Driving through and needing a warm up. Pricier for standard pho. Counter service, not much interaction. Stir Fry was presented disheveled and skillet was filled with water. They could have taken one second to drain maybe? The seating area looked a bit newer but piles of supplies and garbage around in corners took away any positive view.

If you're an Uber eats or DoorDash driver - HAVE SOME RESPECT. It's so rude to the staff and guests in the restaurant to storm in and slam on the bell on the front counter just to shove your phone in their faces demanding a to-go order. Absolutely rude and unprofessional. Flavorful food and the restaurant is decorated nicely, it's also very clean and the food service was quick! I love a good pho on a cold day and theirs was great. I usually get the combo with all meats but there's sometimes too much tripe in it, so from now on I only order the meatballs and flank beef. The fried rice is also amazing, not excessively oily, no massive shrimps that need the shell and head removed, and everything was a perfect texture. Their calamari is also very uniquely breaded and tastes great, almost like an onion ring that's calamari with spicy mayo. Will be back :)

C24 ($19.95). Expensive but more importantly, everything was hard, dry, burnt, bad.

Very disappointing. First off, we used to come here for Vietnamese food very often before covid. It's our go-to place if we craved for Vietnamese food. Environment: still the same as before. I haven't been in a few years but the set up is the same. Lots of booths and tables for you to sit. Staff: they were okay, they got nicer and thanked us as we realized the price of the food was different on the menu than on the computer/device. They quickly changed the prices of them all and was grateful that we told them. Food [take out]: 1. B18: Vermicelli Combination bowl ($14.95). It had many things, marinated grilled pork, tiger shrimp skewer and crispy egg roll. The eggrolls, I had no idea what was inside it. It tasted weird and not fresh, like they fried it again because it's been there for days. The meat inside was very dark, I really wondered if my stomach would be able to handle the unknown stuff. The shrimp was not fresh, slightly mushy. The pork was the most okay part, not too hard. However, this was sad compared to other vermicelli bowls I've had before. 2. C24: Combination rice plate ($19.95) --menu said $17.95. It had grilled pork chop, dried pork skin, egg casserole, fried egg, and a piece of Vietnamese egg meatloaf. They were sadly all bad and very disappointed. Everything felt old or fried again. Everything was hard and burnt. The pork was so hard, when I was cutting it, I shook the whole table. The shrimp were not fresh, it had a slightly mushy feeling. The egg casserole was hard and too dense. The fried egg had left over oil flavor/taste, pork skin was so dry (I wonder if it was left out for a few days), egg casserole was so hard. It poked my mouth and even drenching it in the sauce, it was still very very hard to eat. Nothing was good. This was also not a cheap dish either! Sigh...maybe manager or things changed over these few years. I was very sad to see this happen.

I just started working at HMC and so glad I found this restaurant! Very dangerous for them to be so close haha the fresh rolls are huge, very fresh and crunchy. Good peanut sauce. The beef salad A8 is so flavorful! This will be my go to place when I'm working. Customer service was top notch, too!

First time visiting this restaurant. The place is clean, and the service is friendly. I ordered the pho with mixed beef. The broth was just okay, but I look forward to trying more dishes next time.

We were in the area and the reviews for this place looked good, so we thought we'll give it a try. The area is very run down so I didn't know what to expect. But the place definitely looks cleaner and better than you expect walking in. All downhill from there though. Service was very erratic. We had to keep asking for plates and flatware etc. The food tasted average, at best. The server kept telling us that they're having a bad day, which was kind of weird in itself. Maybe we really did catch them on a hard day but I doubt we'll be going again to test that out. And did I mention, the bathroom was very dirty too.

Server was nice and helped us choose our order but felt kinda rushed to order, but it makes sense because they were an hour away from closing. The food was okay, wish I tried the pho, will return to do that or to try the ban mi vietnamese sandwich!

Great place to visit on a cold fall day! Especially if you're looking for good & fast service! There are so many option! The vegetarian egg rolls were a perfect appetizer, a lot of flavor for a vegetarian egg roll if you know what I mean The Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) was delicious! It came with shredded chicken, quite a big bowl! I wasn't able to finish the whole thing. We also tried the tofu pad Thai and THAT was delicious!!!!! Definitely a must try! We will definitely be back to try more of the dishes!

Have been coming here for many years and was really disappointed today Ordered the green curry and fresh spring rolls The green curry didn't seem to have a drop of curry, but plenty of green food coloring It was lime green and just not good Spring rolls were absolutely flavorless, but after re reading the menu they don't put any basil in them so okay But parts of the lettuce were black and slimy

Over the years, I've brought friends and family here, talking it up enough that they're willing to make the journey with me. I always recommend the tofu vermicelli bowl. The fact that my tofu-skeptical father sang its praises after I made him try it is a testament to its flavor. I still think of it as the gold standard of tofu. I was recently in the area for the first time in 5 or 6 years and decided to go back to Vivi's with my mom. It was the first thing that popped into both of our minds-a real jinks moment. I was nervous that it wouldn't live up to our memory. Vivi's had moved around the corner from their old location-a cute, cozy little cafe-but their new restaurant is more spacious, hopefully to accommodate the flocks of diners that their food merits. I got the tofu vermicelli, which was exactly as I remembered, equally flavorful and generous in portion size for $15. My mom got the papaya salad for $5.50. I previously thought I didn't like papaya-I was mistaken. It was a unique and refreshing dish that I would 100% go back for. Vivi's food tastes fresh and nourishing and at the same time satisfying and rich. We were short on time and were prepared to have to take it to go, but our food was out in 10 minutes. I don't usually write reviews, but after so many great experiences over the years it felt long overdue. A small business that has maintained their quality at reasonable prices over the years deserves to be recognized with a recommendation. Give Vivi's a try!

Bonus points for being in walking distance of Next Level Pinball Museum. Meal came out quick with warning its very spicy (It wasn't that spicy but it had a decent kick compared to the usual dish I've had in the Portland Area!) Staff are friendly, soup was genuinely one of the best I've had in years, the Limade was also a killer and I recommend getting it to pair along with. All-in-all, was a fantastic place to contribute to my late birthday outing.

Should have known, walking in here at 1pm, we were the only patrons. That's okay, maybe it's after the holidays and people are at home saving money. A couple of things I want to point out: 1) An employee sneezed and didn't change her gloves and continued working by handling cups. I had to ask another employee to tell her to change them out, but she was very hesitant to do so. 2) Another employee coughed over the condiments bottles (hoisin) and didn't cover her mouth. 3) The pho soup was so oily! By the time I was done with my meal, it felt like my mouth was rinsed in oil, and there was nothing I could do to get rid of it. The upside: 1) Cute place, well decorated 2) Pho soup tasted authentic and it was hot & steamy when it came out. (Small portions.) Pho #1 is $17.00 for one choice of meat. I will not be back. Parking lot is shared among other businesses, so there are plenty of spots to park.
