I'm very pleased to know that they have a vegetarian pho option here! From what I remember, the regular pho was just okay. Their vegetarian pho is pretty good. They give you an ample amount of veggies and noodles too. Yummy!! I wasn't expecting it to be great, but it did exceed my standard. I was treated here for lunch from my nice Vietnamese co-worker after surviving the first week at the new job. I was wondering why we left work for a late lunch and when we got there, the answer was quite obvious. Long line outside door. Approx. 15 ppl in front of us. The line outside the door pretty much summed it up. I've never eaten at any Pho Restaurants except for the ones closer to home in Mountain View (that goes to show that I need to venture out a little more). My friend said that they're really fast and surprisingly it was. Only waited less than 10 min. just long enough to shoot the breeze and BS a little. Now for the food. I ordered the BBQ Pork with Grilled shrimp (dry rice noodles). Man, all I can say is that I've never seen such large pieces of BBQ Pork inside my bowl in my whole life. I love a good Pho in a cold winterish weather. Unfortunately, I do not consider this a good Pho. Though since it is hot (warm) and with some added hot sauce, the taste (if any) comes out ok. The small pho was plenty. The rice plate is $8.50. Both the pho and rice plate were good but did not stand out in terms of taste. I had to add Sriracha to the pho to give it some kick. Otherwise, the broth seemed a bit bland. The ingredients were fresh. The restaurant is clean and located in a strip mall. The service was good and the food came out quickly. This is a great pho restaurant! It's not fancy, but they're fast and tasty. Their broth is delicious and hits the spot. My girlfriend was sick last week and I would pick her up containers of broth after work. I love the egg rolls and spring rolls that you can get as sides. The peanut sauce they give you with your spring rolls has little crushed peanut bits on top, which is a nice touch. They also offer a variety of smoothies, including avocado smoothies, which I'm particularly fond of. Can't really ask for much more from a pho spot! :) read more

This is a great pho place. However, this is based on the seafood pho which I get once or twice a week. The prices here are a bit higher than normal (9.50 for a small, 10.50 for a large). The best part about the seafood pho here is they use real crab. You heard me, real crab. It's just a claw but the fact that they use real crab is awesome. They also have pretty fresh seafood as far as I can tell. The squid is soft and chewy not rubbery. The shrimp is also cooked well. I think the only difference between a large and a small is the extra noodles though so for those of you who want extra seafood be prepared for that. The place could be a bit cleaner. The small dishes to put the sauce in aren't always super clean but the utensils they give are usually clean and in a bag they hand you when you order. read more

This was my first experience with Pho Viet, I went during my lunch so I was pressed for time. I ordered my food to go, the service was very quick I think it only took like 5 minutes. The inside was very very crowded it was like they stacked the tables on top of each other there was nowhere for me to wait for my order so I had to stand outside and the outside wasn't much better. The tables are surrounding the entry way so you kind of have to go around people to get in, so I was waiting in a spot on the side completely away from the entrance and it looked like I was trying to join someone's table or just watching them eat, it was super awkward. The food was nothing special I ordered a number 63 Bun Cha Gio (Crispy Vietnamese Egg Rolls w/ Rice Vermicelli). The taste was very basic and nothing about it made think I want to go back again. My order was very simple no special preparation at all and if your simple food doesn't amaze me then I don't know. I think I'll give them one more chance because I don't have a lot of interesting lunch choices around my job. Hopefully, I will love the next thing I order and I can give a better review. I got the BBQ chicken & rice, The chicken had enough taste without adding anything to it. The rice portion was generous. This is the ugly sister original version of Pho Viet. After trying the newer and cleaner Pho Viet on 1st street by 101 I thought I'd see what their other store up the road was like. I'm sorry to say that everything is worse at this location. I had to hunt down staff, the interior is too dark to adequately see what you're eating. As for the Pho I ordered the same thing, but it wasn't as good as the other store (less aromatic broth, fresh basil was too dry). The pouch contained a soup spoon, a napkin and a pair of green chopsticks (very clean). They serve you a glass of water for free but no hot tea for free like some other Phó place. The soup is perfect- not salty and not fatty. The meat is just right- not chewy or tough. Bean sprouts,lime, mint leaves and jalapeños is served free with an order of soup. This is a consistently decent pho shop that we go to often as it is close to the office. If you go for lunch during the weekday, know that parking is a nightmare and there is probably going to be a short wait for a table if it is peak time. I have tried the pho a few different ways, seafood soup, rolls, pork chops, and everything is pretty good. Nothing fancy or wow, just consistent ok.
