First time here. I pass it up everyday on my way home, but due to the fact that most pho places around here have disappointed me I pass it up without a thought. It was raining today & I had a craving & tried this place out and to my (very pleasant) surprise it was soooo good! Customer service was attentive & friendly. The pho was delicious! (Not to mention, a regular size bowl is only 6.99). The broth has an amazing flavor I really couldn't get enough of. Very delicious. The restroom could use a little more attention. I used to love coming here, but one day I came and there was a roach crawling on the counter. When I told the cashier he responded by saying "oh sorry we just sprayed for insects." I tend to stop for vietnamese food in really random places because I drive a lot for work and nothing hits the spot like vermicelli. So last night I was driving Uber and stopped for my typical late meal before continuing an even later night. Stopped in here on a whim but it was exceedingly worth it. I started with grilled pork spring rolls. Perfectly seasoned, piping hot meat with crisp edges, fresh moist veggies and the best part; warm peanut sauce with sizeable peanut pieces on top for the perfect texture all put together. I add two drops of chili paste to the peanut sauce for a little warmer taste. I had the grilled pork vermicelli dish(shocker) and was again greeted with perfect meat, lush vegetables and hot noodles. Service was kind and quick, water glass was the perfect size and got refilled very promptly. There were a good number of people alsp enjoying so I'm not surpirsed this place was as good as it was. Where I should start... me and my husband went here on Wednesday night. My husband ordered avocado smoothie and had no flavor I mean no flavor of avocado. If you don't have any avocado, just let us know and we will get something else instead. Then the pho, the flavor is average but the portion is not worth the money. My husband ordered a large size pho and got 7 pieces of meat for $10. Next time we rather to drive farther to Pho Ben on HW6 instead. I ordered the rice plate and the rice is cold. It's convenient because it's pretty fast and just like any other Vietnamese restaurant, prices are good but I was just not for me. Peanut sauce seemed fresh (it was still pretty hot) but it just tasted like a thick paste with not a lot of peanut flavor. The grilled beef sandwich didn't seem grilled, it was more like sautéed because the juice made the bread real soggy. The chicken pho soup was very good but get the small because the regular can feed 2. The spring rolls were made to be cold which I have never had before, I am used to the spring rolls to be fried. My nephew had beef fried rice which was great and would definitely order again. read more

Came here for lunch with a coworker today and I am disappointed to say that I was not impressed. The waiters/hosts were very friendly and eager to sit us down. However, once we sat down and ordered (quite quickly), it took forever for the food to come out. We ordered simple pho and it took almost 20 minutes for them to come out. I've been to plenty of pho restaurants to know that it does not take that long for pho. The broth is pre-prepared and all they do is add the noodles. Which takes me to the next topic. The broth was okay, but the noodles were too firm. It barely softened in the hot broth. All I can say is that the pho was prepared poorly and took too long to come out. This was my second time and I am sad to say that it was worse than the first time. read more

Bad service! Will not spend even 1 penny there. Went there with coworkers for lunch. Bad service, half hour wait, we got the waiter to get our order and water. After 1 hour wait, turned out the order wasn't even placed. So, we said, forget it. I asked to speak to the owner or manager and no one replied. I was so angry, went to the kitchen area and ask who is the owner or manager? I said I have a concern and need to talk to the manager. And one lady responded that she is he manager and that she is busy at this time. WTF!!! I scream out to her about my whole experience and she doesn't even come over or look at me as I speak. Yup, until now, even my coworker will pay for my lunch or pay me $100, I will not go to this place! Better drive about 1 mile and you can eat pho at other places with cheaper price, better service and better management. This place is negative star in my book! read more

These people are lucky I had to post a star to even write this. They have the WORST customer service of any restaurant I've been too. Not only did they make my food wrong and I had a picture of the last time they made it but they had the worst attitude called the "mom" from the back she had and attitude and they all began speaking their language and being very rude. Thought this would be a good place to try. The dumplings was good and pho was decent. But they didn't take down my whole order and left me waiting for my food. When she came she didn't even know that the rest of my order was not on the table. On top of that they rush to make my eggrolls and they came out raw. Good pho, central location. Hot pho (both chicken and beef) the two times I came here on cold, winter days. Knocking down a star because they forced customers to pay cash on my second visit due to a technical glitch with their credit card payment systems. In this day and age, backup lines are always available over cell tower. And also with Square! Although the large bowl is huge, they have roughly the same volume of noodles/meat as the regular size bowt - the big difference being the added broth. From now on, I'm going with a regular size bowl. read more

Really good pho and pork spring rolls I've come here multiple times and every time it's consistently good, especially for that area. (Gessner and Westheimer; there's no other Vietnamese place in that immediate vicinity) I recently moved to the Galleria from Chinatown and every Vietnamese place I've been to near me has either been way over priced, skimped on broth, or have a super fishy taste (these are all real accounts of the 3 places I've checked out). The spring rolls were really good and the dish wasn't bad however I think the fish sauce needed more seasoning or flavor and the chicken was in huge chunks as opposed to the typical slivers you'd usually get... New to Houston so I was in search of a good Pho restaurant. I will never know how the Pho tastes because they were out at 1PM on Monday. I decided to give them a try anyway . I ordered a vermicelli dish. I wanted it with lemon beef but.....they were out. At this point I should have left. The customer next to me angrily stormed out because they were out of Pho and another guy's order was wrong. I yet again changed my order and got the vermicelli bowl with shrimp and pork, I also ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. My vermicelli bowl had 2 shrimp and a meager helping of pork. My spring rolls came out after I was completely done my main dish. The service seemed disorganized and I clearly saw the waiters, who were delivering food eating behind the counter. I discovered this place a few months ago. I work in the area and have tried many Pho places here. This is by far one of the better ones. It is clean, great service, and most importantly the food is delicious. The meats are always cooked well. I have not tried any of their drinks yet, so I don't have anything to say about that. I gave this a great review last time. I don't know if it got sold or new manager, but I give a zero if I could. They raised prices and lowered quality. The cook has forgotten how to cook Vietnamese food or is new here. We used to go twice a week, I doubt I will ever go again. My friend just brought me a large Pho. Not sure if this is bath water with 20 cents worth of noodles. It certainly is not worth 9 dollars they charged me. To the new manager/owner: Dude or Duddette there is a special place in my basement of my mind for ruining one of my regulars. I eat out almost all my meals. Quality Vietnamese food with extremely friendly service! Husband and wife team that's killing it.

I always order to go, never had the chance to actually sit down and eat in, but every time I receive my order its fresh and ready to be picked up. Employees are friendly and courteous, Combo pho is awesome and bhan mi's are good too. My go to place for pick up order pho. They serve all their pho in convenient plastic bowls so there's no need to dirty an extra dish when you get home. Parking sucks during peak lunch hour so getting there at 1pm is your best bet. read more
