Nice and simple. A couple of different ways to get your burger (regular vs deluxe and a couple of add-on options), same with hot dogs, and regular or chili fries. I got a deluxe double cheese with some fries. It was good. Not great, but about as solid a fast food burger as you'll get. They could season the patties, but otherwise good. Amazing hidden gem, I'm mad it took so long for me to find this place! Personally, I like it better than Dicks, that includes the fries, which are very similar but Dicks are always way too oily. The burgers are delicious, fresh, made to order, and come with the softest buns! Everything I've tried here is great, including the shakes, AND they have soft serve chocolate ice cream!! It's so hard to find soft serve, let alone chocolate in Seattle! They stay consistently busy, which is a good thing, but also means you'll wait around 10min for your order. People who complain about waiting a few minutes, would you rather have fresh made to order or something similar to fast food? What if Dick's Drive-in was slow, snooty, disappointing and overpriced? Boom: Pick-Quick. With the multitude of deadly unhealthy fast food options in the neighborhood, why the heck would you choose this one? They are slow as molasses, have the customer service skills of dyspeptic goats, and the food, if and when you get it, is tepid and served in grease-sodden paper bags with no napkins. I have a cat with better business acumen than the dolts running this pathetic excuse for a hamburger stand, and he falls off of everything he tries to jump on, is outsmarted by houseplants and apparently believes my wife's shoes are a legitimate romantic interest. Everything you want them to be, they are not. You want fast? Nope. Friendly? Ha! Good value? C'mon. All the game they have is embodied in the empty promise that the tepid greasy goop you are desperately trying to eat as it slides around like some kind of wet lizard between the disintegrating buns is in fact grass fed and organic. You know what? Give me GMO factory farmed mystery meat at proper temperature that doesn't try to squirt out of the bun like a live fish every time I take a bite, at a reasonable price within a time frame that keeps me from having to call my boss because I can't purchase and eat said burger in the allotted one hour time frame at lunch. I ordered here through Uber Eats and I was super impressed with the freshness and temperature. The cheese is melted and the bun is toasted. This place is my #1 fav burger joint in Washington! I am a Cali native and a huge fan of in-n-out and I must say they almost taste exactly the same!! I also like the chili here that you can add to burger fries or a hotdog. The French fries were good, I like them cooked normal. The prices here are also extremely affordable for any type of their burgers. Under 5 bucks for a double burger is a great deal. Found this place through Siri and Yelp when waiting at an Urgent Care clinic on 1st St. what a great surprise. Best french fries I've had in a while and the serving size is huge. I was in SoDo after a Costco run when hunger hit. Realising my drive through options were fairly dire since I don't do the usual fast food choices, my eye spied Pick-Quick. I pulled over and since there was no one in line, took my time reading their menu. I figured I could just leave if nothing jumped out at me. After a minute, the speaker box asked me to order when ready. The foodstuffs on their menu were fairly simple: burgers, hot dogs, and fries. I went with a burger and fries. I pulled up, paid for my food, and then waited on it to be cooked. While I waited, I penned this review. According to their menu board, all their burgers are made with fresh, natural, Painted Hills grass-fed beef patties. Select a single (1/8 pound) or a double (1/4 pound) to start. Choose the original with ketchup, mustard, and pickle, or the deluxe with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and Pick-Quick sauce. Both the original or the deluxe can be made as cheeseburgers with your choice of Kraft American cheese slices or Tillamook cheddar. If you don't want a burger, they have all beef kosher hot dogs in the same weights as the burgers: 1/8 or 1/4 pound. The original dog has mustard only and the deluxe comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and Pick-Quick sauce. There are extras like bacon, chili, chips, and extra patties available too. Fries are hand-cut, sold plain or with chili, cheese, and onion. No onion rings though. I'm a sucker for homemade onion rings! Anyway, the usual line of Coke products are offered. I didn't wait long before my food appeared at the window. The woman working the drive through and the cook who handed me my bag were both very friendly. I am unsure but from my vantage point, there didn't appear to be anywhere to sit outside or inside. I ate in my car before continuing on with the day's errands. My food was fresh and exactly as promised. I think I'd return if I were in the mood for a freshly made burger (or dog). The two star rating I gave Pick-Quick is primarily aimed at the poor customer service experience. First off, The name Pick-Quick implies service is quick....but not really. If you order via the drive thru, avoid if their are more than two cars in line otherwise you'll be waiting for your order for 20 minutes or more. A couple of times when avoiding the drive thru, the workers inside don't even look up to greet customers. You're basically ignored. We ordered their chill fries with cheese & onions, Deluxe cheeseburger and Original 1/8 hotdog. I like my fries oily and soft, which these were. They taste like Dick's fries. As for the burger, it wasn't all that great. I found the bun too soft and the patty a bit bland. Meal was not bad at all. It was fairly cheap and filling. Tip: There isn't any outside/indoor seating and parking is limited since the lot is reserved for customers of other businesses or paid only. I stumbled across this burger place on Instagram with reviews comparing it to In N Out, so decided I must give it a chance. I ordered the deluxe cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. Although the burger was different from the In n out reviews I heard, I still really enjoyed the burger and loved the touch of raw onion in it. Will definitely be going back. I was a bit disappointed by the chili fries though. Don't think I'll be ordering them again. How in the world can I have moved here 11 years ago from California and not have known this place exists. I'm not sure I could tell the difference in a blind taste test between their burgers and In-n-Out. They are closer match then CaliBurger and CaliBurger prides itself on being a knock off. Half the price of Cali Burger, too.
