    Pick-Quick Drive in

Fresh Veggies & Classic Drive-In Vibes! Pick-Quick is a reliable spot for a quick takeout meal. While the beef patty itself isn't anything out of the ordinary, I was genuinely surprised by the freshness of the lettuce, sliced tomato and onion. They are incredibly crisp and pair perfectly with the meat, making for a very satisfying Deluxe Burger--especially for under $5! The fries aren't necessarily the "super crispy" type; instead, they are skin-on and served fresh and hot out of the fryer. They have a great natural potato taste, and dipping them in the house sauce (which you have to order separately) is a must! The milkshakes are also wonderfully thick and rich. A solid 4-star experience for the price and freshness.

Bro I cant tell you again... this is the best burger in Seattle. everyday, every year - the sun always be shining on this spot in Sodo. Take a mental health day and go to Costco and then stop by and get Seattles best burger (grass fed). They have a walk up window and a drive thru ( no bathroom so plan accordingly). The best local ice cream and shake add-ins. Lets GOOO ! Ive been seeing the same employees for years so I hope they are taking good care of them. the service is great and efficient- I cant imagine how many burgers are pumped thru this drive thru.

This place reminds me of in and out with dick's(seattle burger shop) swag. Not because they taste the same, but its just the feeling my eyes and taste buds have. My partner got similar vibes. Fun fact, ive Been coming to this place ever since I was old enough to drive. Maybe 20 years now, unless im mistaken. Maybe once a year. Its not the best food in the world, but its good and different enough that I eventually start to crave it. Probably because they dont put soggy mayo sauce based lettuce on every burger by default. I enjoyed how fresh everything looks and tastes. Many small burger shops can be overly soggy and greasy, but luckily thats not the case at this quick burger joint. They dont have an interior dining space, only outdoor picknick seating so be ready for that. I believe it used to be drive through only, but they eventually converted it to walk up orders only. Might be why the name is pickquick lol. Luckily the old drive thru is used as a covering when you order and wait seeing how it rains so much in washington. Ps, everything looks small when they start cooking so dont let your eyes trick you into ordering extra food. Ylih yea, and They also make a decent milk shake. Strawberry pineapple for the win.

A decent burger joint couldn't complain and couldn't brag it's a decent burger if you happen to be in the area walk up and drive through only fries were good they use real potatoes staff was super nice traded my shake when I didn't like the flavor and there's a parking lot for easy parking and eating

Came here as i was told it is a good inn n out substitute as someone who always misses La Inn n Out. For those of you who are expecting to dine in - heads up - this is a drive through only burger spot in Sodo. It has a very classic and retro vibe and there is space to eat outside at the parking lot ( no seats) There was about 5-6 car line when we got in the line ( Sunday night) and waited maybe 5-10 mins. Ordered delux cheeseburger with triple patties, grilled onions , pickles and pick quick sauce. My inn n out reflexes also made me say "chopped chilli" expecting chopped pickled chilli pepper , however instead ended up getting a red sauce with ground meat ( chilli topping) - that was my bad. Overall solid burger, patties are thin - very similar to inn n outs. Buns were toasted. Maybe a little bit on the pricier side as I ended up paying 19$ for just 2 cheeseburgers (a double patty and triple patty)

You either do Pick-Quick or you don't. I do. I like the old style flat burgers, and yes, they are thin, so I like to stack a second or a third patty for a double or a triple. The shakes and soft serve are a definite yes. I am some-timey about the fries because of personal preference. I like a crispier fry or a crinkle cut, but they are still good. This is a drive thru place, and there is parking if you want to pull over and eat it there. I love the vintage look of their neon signs, and after all, it is a vintage kind of place in business for over 65 years. I get very friendly service at the window. My only struggle is I always call it Quick Pick instead of Pick Quick.

Delicious burger!!! Location is a bit far but worth the drive. Would come again and reorder the cheeseburger and fries.

driving down 4th ave s i was hit by an urge for a milkshake and while there's very little besides shakes and fries on the menu for vegetarians, this hit the spot in terms of flavor options and relative ease of procurement on a sunny monday afternoon. i opted for a 16oz mocha (extra charge flavor option) milkshake and that's what i got. good flavor and consistency. so much so that by the time i got off the west seattle bridge at the delridge exit that milkshake was HISTORY: i'd sucked it all down!

This review is solely based on their milkshakes. THESE ARE SOME GOOD MILKSHAKES. I couldn't decide on a flavor so I got banana and chocolate malt. Both were thick and creamy. The perfect consistency! Banana is made with actually bananas and has chunks....CHUNKS. The chocolate malt has a strong malt flavor and I like it. Solid milkshakes. Gettemmmm

One of my favorite Burger spots. Made fresh to order and the fries are amazing. Will need to try their milkshakes next time.

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

It's not my favorite Hawaiian by any stretch, but it definitely does the job for visitors to the food hall. Since the seating can be a little limited at lunch time, the first challenge is just simply finding a spot to sit. Avoiding the peak lunch hour is recommended, but this probably be better if traveling in a group. When in doubt, take it to-go. Teriyaki chicken ($14) is one of their most popular dishes and an obvious nod to Seattle's thriving scene. Their katsu loco moco ($16) is hearty with the gravy, but sometimes a bit too heavy with the green onions. Personally, I'm a fan of the kalua pork ($13.50) and the spam and eggs ($11.50), but the garlic shrimp ($18) was a bit lackluster. They also serve burgers, which are actually a bit underrated. Their double cheeseburger ($11) features nice size patties with a goop of American cheese. The musubi is nearly $4 each, but are also mini-bricks of spam and rice. Lastly, it doesn't take much to realize the prices might feel a bit high here. They're even higher on the website, which i would recommend using for most folks, but recently I noticed various selections are listed for hundreds of dollars each. Unless this is a catering order, it's just another example of another oversight. ____________ (#1) Uwajimaya is dope: https://www.yelp.com/biz/uwajimaya-seattle

Perhaps the Lao Burger served there wasn't as juicy and succulent, with perfectly crisp smashed patties as I recalled? Or perhaps Taurus Ox just serves a completely inferior version. I revisited for a Friday late dinner to reach the bottom of things. This was at around 8PM and the place was surprisingly busy, with a fully running kitchen and almost all seats taken. It's a pretty small restaurant to begin with, but since the food comes fast, people don't typically stay too long. By the time our food arrived, a table had cleared up for us. Lao Burger ($18) - This Lao Burger is just as good as my first visit. Absolutely perfectly fried smash patties, completely with lacy, crispy edges that provide texture and an intense caramelized meaty flavor. I've already described the burger in detail in my previous review - what I can say on this visit is that the burger is basically identical, indicating that Ox Burger is consistent with cook and construction. The burger as a whole has the perfect moisture level with plenty of unique funky, umami-full flavors that make each bite a delight. As with my previous review, two things come to mind that detract just a tiny bit from my full enjoyment. Firstly, the burger as a whole is a bit salty for my tastes, necessitating several trips to refill my cup of water Secondly, the piece of sliced pork belly included is kind of vestigial. It seems to be only there to add additional salt, because neither the flavor nor texture are very apparent while eating. (5/5) Deluxe ($15) - This burger is somehow way messier than the Lao to eat. Upon lifting it up, a mess of watery mustard/mayo mix drips onto the plate. I think it might be from the extra moisture in the tomatoes and lettuce. And yet, somehow the bun isn't soggy at all. This burger is otherwise excellent, combing the same picture perfect smash patties as in the Lao, with the classic fixings - American cheese, bacon, pickles, and plenty of veggie mix. (5/5) I'm glad I gave the Lao Burger another chance. It's now one of my favorite burgers in the city. I'll definitely be coming back to Ox Burger for more. The progenitor, Taurus Ox, remains on my not recommended list though! Bathrooms - Single unisex room.
