Loved the chicken salad sandwich on croissant. It was made a little different (with chives) and it was so good. The chips were also not normal lays chips. Holy moly. First of all, I love places like this, where you can tell love is poured into every dish! Second, our server, Katlyn, was a sweetheart so that makes the experience even better! So, we had brunch, I had a croissant with homemade chicken salad and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. We shared a cinnamon roll and OMG YUM. Everything was so perfect. I cannot update you on the pie yet, as we ordered it to go and cannot fathom eating one more bite at this point, however, considering the little notebook on the table had a comment about how the owner started out selling her pies in a local gas station and now moved on to this restaurant, I'm certain the pies will be phenomenal as well. This place is absolutely tits. I cannot believe I haven't eaten at this place in so many years. We had lunch today and it was amazing. We also tried the buttermilk coconut pie with ice cream and it was so fucking delicious that I'll absolutely have to try it again before I try a different pie. I got a look at the breakfast and brunch menus and I cannot wait to go back. As a matter a fact I might just clear out any plans I have for tomorrow morning to go have a pie waffle with some eggs. Sorry, I just cannot do more than 3 stars for this place because it is just that...OK. Not bad, but not overly special either. The chocolate pecan and blumleberry pies were tasty and the potato soup and pulled pork sandwich alright, but we'll not be going out of our way to get to this place. Good if you're already in the area. My other criticism would be that the place was kept way too cold and the wait staff, while very nice, was also very slow considering how not busy they were while we were there. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The inside is a little small, but I love the way it's decorated & they also have a cute patio/outdoor area you can sit at if you wanted to eat outside. If you like pie, then Pie in The Sky, Co will be heaven. My four kids and I went on pi-day, (3.14.15) and had a slice each. The bumbleberry is outstanding and the peach is unbelievable. In the past we have had the cake balls (who knew that cake had balls?) and they are Delish. The service is top notch, and the decor is quite nice (see the photos!) Love this place. This is a high production bakery that also serves a nice sit-down breakfast and lunch. At roughly 8:30 on a Friday, there were only two other tables. Service was friendly and actually fast. Other reviewers have criticized the service, but my experience was great, maybe because it was a weekday breakfast. I had the veggie omelette with a side of bacon and potatoes. All was perfect. The bacon was crispy-chewy, and the potatoes browned nicely with the right level of salt and pepper. The veggie omelette had squashes and onions and was tender and tasty. Next time I'll for a little cheese on it, I think. They have free samples at the counter. I tried a piece of the tipsy chocolate chip cookie bar. Delicious, with soft, velvety texture, and a subtle kick that makes it tipsy. The breakfast and the free sample was so good, I picked up a pie and casserole to take home for dinner tonight. As for the pastries, they have full-sized pies, smaller ones, and single-serving. My mother, daughter and I came in to this restaurant for the first time. They greeted us when we walked in. We found our seat and sat down. The waitress came and got our drink order and we sat there for a while like 10 to 12 mins. We noticed that 2 customers that had come in after us were already gotten their order taken. And we still haven't gotten our drinks. I dont know but I felt just a little but discriminated against we were the only Mexican American people in the restaurant.  Refills just didnt happen unless we asked. The cutest little spot to eat! I stopped here one day to pick up a pie for my client, and realized they have so much more to offer than just pie! I grabbed a chocolate cake pop, a sweet tea, and a plate of the biscuits and gravy - and it was ALL amazing! I told my husband about this place and decided to try it one Saturday night. We decided to try Pie in the Sky for breakfast this Sunday morning. I'm sorry to say it was very disappointing! I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with extra cheese. When it arrived barely warm there was No cheese at all! Waitress took it back and melted some on the top! Potatoes were cold. My friend had the same cold experience with her feta cheese omelette and potatoes! We told the waitress our food was cold and she said well it just came off the grill! Maybe the grill wasn't turned on yet? I will say the hot chocolate was very good!
