I have loved pie tap for years, we frequently visited when this location opened. Service has declined..a month or so ago I placed an order for pickup on my lunch break. I was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. This worked out since I was shopping in the area. I arrived at the time given and my order was still not ready. It was no problem at first so I sat at the bar and waited. The kitchen seemed very frazzled and I asked about my order after about 20 additional minutes of waiting. They ensured that it was being worked on. I ended up waiting an entire HOUR. for a to go order. The only reason I stayed was because I was hopeful and promised that it would be out soon, repeatedly. I'm sure the order was forgotten and things happen, I just wish they had handled it better. I asked to speak to the manager once my order was completed. It was comped but it seemed as if they did not really care about the odd wait time or service provided. This is the second time something similar has happened. Great prices for food! Service is quick and nice! They really take care of you. When I went, the server recommended the charcuterie board which was A++ and then we got the pizza with mushrooms and prosciutto. All good! Crust was great! We also got the caesar salad which was fresh! I def recommend for a date night or just a night out with friends. read more

This is a very cool restaurant and food is pretty good too very nice vibe there. I will add they hound you to use sanitizer when you come in or sit at your table I find that very off putting to be honest. It just makes you feel awkward. I'm all for cleanliness but is that necessary? read more

Got the rolls- they were great- sourdough was unexpected but nice. The whipped spread to go on them was great too. The blackberry smash was flavorful and the happy hour prices made it half off. Newer place, maybe they are still working out the kinks but not impressed. Lollipop wings came out 15 minutes before the pizza- I told her this was my entree so I waited until everyone got theirs and then very cold- and they dropped one of our friends pizza on the floor. No real apology- no make up drink or anything- just another 15 minutes. Then they dropped a glass right behind us so glass was on the floor in addition to pizza sauce they never cleaned up. Once again no apologies or anything. No manager came by and waitress just seemed like this happens a lot? The food was good. I got the gnocchi and it was delish, and my hubby got the prosciutto pizza also good! 3 stars because the hostess forgot us. She checked us in, said we'd get a text so we waited at the bar. After a while we went back to the front because it was taking long. I saw her see us and immediately panic and check her device, clearly recognizing us, but then proceeding to ask if we had been helped yet as if we just gotten there or something lol. Mistakes happen I guess, but I would have preferred transparency instead of what seemed like pretending lol-but then in a last minute rush to seat us they literally sat us at the kitchen lmfao. We watched a cook pull out her phone a lot w her gloves still on while she was prepping the pizza dough. I know this happens a lot in the restaurant industry but seeing it gave me the ick. Our server was nice but the experience over all sucked. Will update if second chance is given and is a better experience but looking at other reviews, service is a common issue. read more

Went to Pizza Tap last night for the first time. We were greeted and immediately seated by a sweet hostess. Our server came to grab our drink order quickly. We had lollipop wings and salad and a couple pizzas which was a ton of food for four people but we still managed to demolish it :) everything was fresh and delicious. My husband and I tried to go here for dinner one night. We were seated and then never welcomed or waited on. We set a timer on our phone on how long we would wait, and after at least 10-15 minutes we walked out. Maybe we will try again one day, and hopefully it will be better service. read more

Met friends at the PTPW on Magnolia for Brunch, for an 11:15 reservation. We were excited to try the this new place. While I will tell you the food was good the service was a disaster. We ordered cinnamon rolls as a starter, then a couple brunch pizzas, breakfast sandwich and blueberry pancake. One pizza and breakfast sandwich arrived cold, while the other items didn't arrive until we pointed out we had not received everything. At that point the waitress, Victoria, checked on it and told us that the remaining dishes were in the oven. The pancake arrived (missing the condiments) then later the final pizza (which had been cooked with a paper wrapper in it). We watched those who had been seated after us eat and leave, before we got all of our food. When closing out, we asked to speak with the manger- which she was very apologetic and asked what she could do. Thinking that she would have comp'ed the food we got the bill and nothing had been taken care of. We asked Victoria to check with the manager, which we were advised that she would only comp the pancake, pizza and a side of bacon. At this point, it was 1:15 and we were ready to go. This was a bad day for PTPW several employees had not shown up for their shift, the kitchen was a disaster. At this point, there were too many mistakes, and there are many excellent places to eat in this city, most likely will not return. Sorry but we cannot recommend PTPW. read more

I love Pie Tap but we had the worst experience tonight. Everyone had their food delivered except the people that ordered salads. The food was brought out in stages so we thought nothing of it. 15 minutes later we hunt someone down till let them know we are still waiting on food. Our waitress never came back to check on us. They finally send a manager over, still no waitress, we let them know what food we are waiting on. They say they will get it out asap. Another 15 minutes goes by and we found someone and asked them to remove the items because we just want to go home at this point. The manager comes over with our altered check. Not a single apology or offer to comp anything. Only let us know they removed the items we never got. read more
