YUM! I love pies and this place has more than enough to choose from. I was tempted to try the "tv pie" comes with one savory and one sweet that cook together! Ultimately went with midnight strawberry

Great pie place!! So many great flavors and varieties. Always so fresh and yummy. Wish the staff was a little friendlier and acted like they cared that you are a paying customer!!! And wish they could figure out how to slice their pieces better. They are always cracked and you definitely miss some of the crust and tops. And they are just too delicious to want to miss any bite!!

This was such a cute pie shop with friendly employees! The pies here are high quality and they have a giant selection! Fruits, creams, chocolate they have something for everyone's taste. The crust is perfect and they all had plenty of filling with fresh fruit. I think my favorite was the peach and strawberry rhubarb. I'll be back for another pie run in the future!

I have been going to the Mesa location since I was a teenager (I know the owner!) and I was stoked to hear they opened up a Scottsdale location. This is the cutest little pie shop and the pink and black theme is adorable!! You'll always be meet with a friendly and respectful staff and yummy pies! My favorite and recommendation is the lemon blueberry sour cream pie! It is insanely good if you're into cheesecakes or creampies!!

This is an update to my last review about Piefection. It's great little bakery in north Scottsdale. They make excellent pies that are just amazing. Only downside is these pies are a little pricey. Overall I love this place its great bakery with a wide selection of sweet and savory pies on the menu. The chocolate silk pie and banana cream pie are my favorites. Worth every penny and a must try if are in the area.

We got the orange pie and it was awesome! It was almost like a key lime. I do wish that there was a bit more orange flavor; but all in all, was delish! Be sure to get here early, they sell out quickly!

I got the peach cobbler cupcake, which was almost $7, and for that price I was definitely expecting more. The texture was honestly so strange. The outside was dry and crumbly, while the inside had this really dense, gummy/doughy texture. Somehow it was dry and doughy at the same time. There were actual pieces of peach in it, but I could barely taste any peach flavor. Overall, it just didn't have much flavor at all. I'm not sure if it was specifically the flavor I chose or if it's because I'm not really used to vegan baked goods. I can definitely appreciate that they offer options for people who are vegan, have allergies, or have certain dietary restrictions and still want to satisfy their sweet tooth. But for me personally, the taste and quality just didn't justify paying almost $7 for one cupcake. The customer service didn't really help the experience either. Since it was my first time, I asked the girl at the front what their best sellers were and what she recommended. I was genuinely trying to make conversation and get some guidance on what I should try, but she wasn't very helpful or engaging. It honestly felt like I was talking to a wall. Overall, it's a cute spot and I appreciate what they offer for people with dietary restrictions, but between the price, texture, lack of flavor, and customer service, it just wasn't for me.

I was proactive and made reservations from their website. It was same day so we got in for 1:30 PM which was great when you want a lazy morning. Upon arriving, the location is in a shopping plaza but nothing else appears to be open or even in business. There's plenty of free parking in the lot but we took a ride share. There's nearby retailers like Costco but in this complex it looked dead except for Sugar Jam. When you enter, people were waiting to be seated and you can hear the music from outside! This is a lively, DJ friendly atmosphere with lots of activity happening from the bar to the dining room. The hostess checked us in, we walked around and took pictures, admired all the beautiful people dining and it's an open kitchen where you see the orders coming up. Mom and I were seated maybe 10 minutes after our reservation time. We were greeted by Vante - such a nice young man who was patient and helped us decide on what to order. We settled on the margarita flight, the watermelon hibiscus whisky smash, wings & waffles and the French toast and chicken. I also got blessed with a shout out from the DJ and a free shot for my birthday! The food came out quickly (however not together), was plated nicely and the flavors were present. The brown sugar butter and warm syrup on my French toast was a hit. The only complaint I'd note is the heat inside the establishment. I left my fan and desperately needed it. They did eventually bring out some industrial fans to cool the dining area off. The a/c needs to crank harder with all the bodies plus open kitchen. Otherwise, a great spot to eat, sing along, vibe a little and enjoy great breakfast food.

It is important to know that making a reservation requires a $20 deposit for a 90 minute seating. Upon my arrival, the hostess informed that I would be seated closer to or a little after my reservation time. I am new to the desert heat, and the restaurant's AC unit wasn't working properly which made the environment a little uncomfortable. There were fans strategically placed throughout the dining space. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time and offered a free round of drinks. There restaurant was out of some food options. The menu is extensive and does have a few vegan options which is appreciated. Our waitress was super friendly, and the DJ's playlist was on point - the restaurant's noise volume is loud. But the food is decent; I enjoyed my sweet potato hash and French toast, and the cinnamon butter and grits were a 10/10. I would recommend the restaurant and visit again, if I ever find myself in PHX.

I can't speak on the customer service as we never left our table and our waited just walked over and got what we needed. We were pretty stuffed from our massive meal, but we decided on sharing a cup of gelato just to satisfy our sweet tooth. I peeked inside as our table was right at a little walkway from the restaurant to the bakery. Gelato is just one of many things they serve here. They also have all your typical Italian desserts. Cakes like tiramisu, pastries like Italian flag cookies, cookies like Italian wedding cookies, cannolis of different varieties, and of course gelato. What was suggested to us if we wanted gelato was the hazelnut flavor. I was expecting a little cup for the 6 of us just to get a taste, but what he brought over was a massive serving. I don't know how many scoops it was or even how much we even paid, but we all got plenty with some even left behind. Now this gelato was life changing. Probably the best I've had in the states. I know it's gotta be way better in Italy, but I'll take what I can when I can. Think of a Ferrero Rocher but in gelato form. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a little crunch with bits of chocolate and hazelnuts. My sweet tooth was extremely satisfied after having dessert here. The shell had that perfect crisp snap, while the filling was silky, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. It was everything I had been dreaming about and then some. Walking into The Sicilian Baker always feels like stepping into a little slice of Italy. Between the gorgeous display of desserts and the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries, it's nearly impossible to leave with just one treat (don't say I didn't warn you! ).
