I'm going to be brief with this. Yesterday was our first time there and the pies are delicious. My favorite was the Spicy Italian - perfect balance of ingredients, seasoning, and cooking time. I like the crispy texture of oven-fired, thin-crust pizzas. The primary reason for my writing is to give a shout out to Erica. Long story short: The place got slammed, orders got totally mixed up, servers didn't know who got what, and others who came in after us were served before our food made an appearance. We were patient initially, but then the frustration and bewilderment took center stage. My wife addressed matters with Erica 2-3 times and eventually our food arrived. When the hubbub died down, Erica came to our table and graciously apologized while explaining what happened (an unfortunate series of events). She took ownership of the situation, did not excuse or rationalize it, and personally made matters right with us. Kudos to her and her leadership, not to mention great customer service skills! Worst service and rude staff. We came at 9pm after a long and were told we could not eat in the lobby, even though they close at 9:30. They told us they couldn't put our pizza on tray because it would use up too many dishes at closing. Kelly was incredibly rude to us. Every single table in the lobby was so dirty that it was disgusting. We have had several horrible experiences here and this was the last straw. Everyone!!! Don't WASTE your money here. The subway/chipotle assembly line, get your food quick equivalent for pizza. I love that this place has gluten free options. You start at one end and completely customize your pizza from crust, sauce, cheese, meats and veggies. My favorite part is it's the same price for as many toppings as you like. The ingredients look fresh and the turn around time to get your pizza is usually less than 8 minutes. The quality is good for the price you pay. The interior is nice and clean. We were mistreated by employee named Charlotte. We are old customers of pieology. Employees despite offering to pay double for whichever item in question behaved very rude and insulting. Everything online says they close at 10pm.. but they start locking the door at 7pm for some reason and let people in only after they knock. Terrible customer service.. all the employees joke and cuss with each other and pay zero attention to customer while ordering. We've been to this location many times, but tonight was the best experience! Emerald was absolutely wonderful. I asked for gluten free crust, and she asked if it was for an allergy or preference. I said allergy and she changed gloves, washed her hands, and had the oven cleaned. Emerald is the gem of customer service (see what I did there) In addition the two other girls were pleasant when making my pizza and cashing me out. Our pizza looked great and tasted amazing! I found this restaurant 2 years ago while looking for good gluten free and dairy free pizza and instantly fell in love! I never realized I never gave this place a review after coming here for years. It's my go-to place for having pizza. Why try and get a pizza that will satisfy everyone when you can get pizza customize for you? Their pizzas are always hot off the fire and delicious. There is a lot of topping available to choose from and they have different types of crust to choose from. I like to make my garlicky and spicy and I have many choices to make that happen. If you are scared about the coronavirus you can order online. The process is simple. Just make sure to come early so you can get your pizza hot off the fire. I'm giving one star because my entire experience was pretty bad. I wish I could say different. I ordered my Margherita pizza online tonight at approximately 6:50pm. The online service said it would be ready at 7:07. I got there late because I don't like to eat my pizza sizzling hot. I walked in at 7:15 and noticed 3 people already waiting for online orders. When I got to the counter and asked the girl who was building pizza boxes under the online check in sign if my order was ready and gave her my name. She turned around and yelled to a girl who was putting pizza in boxes. She told her my name and the girl said it wasn't ready. Then the girl putting pizza in boxes came up with the two she had just boxed and said pIzza for the "K" name!! I looked at the box and it said Krishnan. Utterly shocked....I've never seen an employee be so disrespectful to a customer!! I was floored. She didn't even try to pronounce it..... the girl at the counter building boxes asked another guy against the wall what his name was and then double checked with the girl putting pizza in boxes and she said his pizza still wasn't ready. I then turn and another employee who came from the restaurant floor after taking some pizzas out through all the kaos stopped and asked me and the other guy who is waiting, what out names were for our online orders..... Which obviously shows there is absolutely no organization at this restaurant. Then all of a sudden the girl that had been stuffing pizza in boxes asked me what my name was and when I told her, she says with an excited voice "oh my gosh, your pizza has been ready!". Then looks at the girl who was building boxes and asks why she didn't tell her my name....at this point I'm wondering if the employees are drunk or just completely incapable of their jobs. Then she pulls my pizza down from a pizza bag on a top shelf....she then does the exact same thing with the guy that was there before I even got to the location. I open my box and I see 4 chunks of meat on my pizza.... I ordered a margherita pizza...so there shouldn't be any meat at all. To top it off with a cherry....the girl who obviously put my pizza in the box comes back by and whispers to me that she forgot to put my basil crisp finish that I had ordered on my pizza...then walks away like it was no big deal and doesn't even offer to put some on it. The girl who had been building boxes asked if she could remake my pizza....I said no because at this point I just wanted to leave. I've never wanted to leave a place so fast. Most jacked up experience I've ever had trying to order a pizza.....with all due respect the owner should be ashamed. Great location (corner) easy to get to, great decor, bright and spacious with lots of windows. Enough staff to get the long lines moving and keep the waiting to a minimum. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Upbeat music is great and so is the outside area if you want to enjoy the evening breeze or the sun during the day.Did I mention that the pizza only takes five minutes to bake. Highly recommend it. Terrible customer service. I got an email for a birthday reward. It was a BOGO deal so I decided to go there for dinner tonight. Well they sure don't make it easy to redeem. It can't be used straight from the email. You have to go to the app and then sign in. I was unable to sign in because I forgot my login and when I clicked forgot login, the system never sent the email it was supposed to send with reset instructions. Then on their end the system was unable to find me through my name, phone number, or email address. I attempted to create a new account but then the app said their was a system error. I asked the manager on duty if she could still honor it and she said she had to ask her manager. She got the manager on the line and said there was nothing they could do. After I insisted they said the only thing they could do was half off but not honor the entire birthday reward. If they could do half then they surely could do the whole thing. Supposedly she had told me it wasn't possible due to her inability to discount it in the system so I feel completely lied to. The customer service was terrible. It was not a good experience at all. It was not a smart business move on their part. They wasted food and made a customer unhappy. All over an email that they sent to me in which they should have honored. read more

I've been to this location a couple times. The first time I went was way better than my most recent visit. The service was poor; the "kids" that run the shop weren't super friendly or helpful with answering questions about the menu. The girl who was putting my pizza together was very skimpy with the toppings. The size of the pizza was very small compared to my first visit; it was about the size of my hand (not exaggerating). And when I went back to ask why it was so small, one employee responded that it depends on how the dough is pressed in the machine. My reason for two stars is that the food is pretty good but until they have better service then save your money and go else where. read more

If I can give this place a 0 star I definitely would. I came in today and told the girl helping me (the girl I am talking about has blue hair. Didn't catch her name) that I had 7 pizza's to order and I had typed it out in case it would be easier for her and her response was "you have 7 pizzas and as she said that she rolled her eyes". Then as she was helping me she had a nasty attitude. I then asked for 3 drinks which I needed a coke and 2 diet cokes and they were out of diet drinks and when I asked they said they were out, they didn't even offer to refund me. They were also out of Alfredo sauce. I spent over 100 dollars and this is the awful service I got. I don't know what happened to the old management but this new crew working there is seriously the worst. Then on top of that I requested marinara sauce on the side and they forgot to give it to me so I had to go back in and get it. Overall the staff sucks and this place is going to go down the drain. First time here and NOT disappointed!! Eating out Vegan is always hit and miss. Pieology is a hit. The pizza artist who helped us was VERY knowledgeable about their vegan options. They had 2 (!!!!) vegan meat options! They also had multiple sauce options! Options! It was nice to have a choice of different vegan foods to choose from. The gluten free crust is their only vegan crust, but it's very good. They also have Dayia cheese!! We'll definitely hit up Pieology again. The workers at this location were friendly, respectful of our preferences, and pleasant to interact with!! Very happy with our first visit at the Iron Point Pieology!!! read more

Was not sure what to expect, but soon discovered that you just pick all your ingredients, including the crust and cheeses. The variety of toppings is great, and the price seems reasonable. You are not charged by the number of toppings, except for some specialty items. The pizza is delivered in no time to your table, hot and crispy. The servers were very friendly and attentive. It is the Chipotle's of pizza and perfect for accommodating all flavors and types of pizza e.g. cauliflower crust with regular sauce, two types of cheese and three veggies with bucket pepperoni. I see from prior reviews, they were lucky to have fast, friendly service. We were not so lucky. We approached the counter with no line. The gal filling the veggie containers did not glance at us once. We stood there. Spoke out loud to each other about which pizza we wanted. No glance from her. She, instead, looked over her shoulder to the (soon-to-be-obvious new guy) who was preparing pizza dough and told him to "help these customers". Still no look from her. The new guy did the best he could, but he kept having to glance at the menu board to make our Smokin Buffalo Chicken. Unfortunately, he made a hybrid between that and the Fire Grill BBQ. The other gal who brought it out (uncut at first) at least did notice, and offered to remake it, but we declined. It likely would not have made much difference as it tasted about as good as a frozen one you'd make at home. I can see the benefit, I guess, of someone coming with your kids and piling on as much mess as you can on a pie for $9; but there are better pizza choices. P.S. The salad was good, but the balsamic vinegarette dressing, I think was straight vinegar - no oil. read more

So thankful for the crew at Pieology in Folsom! Right away they asked if my ordering a cauliflower crust was preference or an allergy. Awesome! It's from an allergy! No other Pieology has ever asked me that. They took precautions like changing their gloves and sweeping a space in the oven for my pie! THANK YOU! You get it! I get so sick from exposure to gluten it's crazy. Not only were they careful, they were super friendly and so polite!
