I'd give them five-stars if someone knew the guest Wi-Fi password! 4.5-stars is fair for now based on one visit four-days after opening and trying two items. Finally a reasonably priced seafood place. I didn't realize they had opened but since I needed stuff at Trader Joe's I figured why not? Food: How can I pass trying clam chowder? Easy answer, I can't unless it's that bloody travesty style called 'Manhattan'! Only 16oz will do for the trial run. Delivered to the table first I enjoyed the creamy textures and homemade characteristics. My only complaint is that the ingredients are finely diced, not coarsely cubed or chopped. Still, it gets a passing grade and hearty recommendation. Next up were the Smoked Fish Tacos. Eating with my eyes they were HUGE in reality. I'm going to be full later for dinner.... Taste: the hickory smoke lends a nice tinge to the merging delicate balance of flavors. The fish itself is moist and full flavoured, the roasted tomato cream sauce wasn't dominate but it complimented the tangerine-jalapeno salsa, shredded cabbage and scallions. No hot sauce for me, it would be superfluous! Next time I'll try grilled fish, perhaps the yellowtail or salmon washed down with a handcrafted lemonade? First time here! It's fantastic didn't know how much we would love it. Lots of space inside to sit also a out side patio. About a Dz items to choose from plus specials. My wife had the snapper and I had the sea bass. Sodas were also a little different than the basic brands. Large portions and they are served with a side of your choice. read more

For longest time I've been looking for a place to get a Lobster Roll without having to drive a drive to Orange County or Los Angeles. So when Pier 76 opened I was super enthusiastic to have a quick serve restaurant that serves lobster rolls. Pier 76 is what you would expect from a modern sea food place, cool hip decor a variety of sea food dishes. As far as my review of the lobster roll is such. Their version of the lobster roll is a little bit different it includes beacon and chipotle mayo. I ordered the Lobster Roll, but was very disappointed. You get a huge roll which is hard and dry . Lobster was dry needed some drawn butter to make it moist. I will never order that again. I was in town with my dog, there is pet friendly patio seating here. They had a dog bowl for his water available as well. Upon arrival all patio seats were taken. The server was kind enough the move the furniture around in order to accommodate us right away! The food selection is very nice for such a casual location. The pricing was great for the quality! My favorite was the butter sauce with the muscles. I didn't care for ordering at the counter first. But no big deal. read more

This is my second time at this restaurant and I am so glad this place is thriving. The location close to the movie theater makes it a no-brainer for traffic but that guarantees nothing in the way of quality unless it is at the forefront of your business model. Pier 76 oozes quality and focus. This is going to remain a favorite of mine. I am stuck on the Smoked Fish Tacos which is a mix of 3 fish and not battered. Two tacos are more than enough. Add to that the drink that is included if you get the $6.99 special. They have a draft soda machine (no-name) soda which is a refreshing change for me. I don't drink soda all the time but my husband should own stock in Diet Coke. He was fine with the choice he had to accompany his linch. Before I forget... the service is quick and I love it. Let me just start by saying every time I have been there the food was good. Went yesterday around 2:30 they were semi busy, after ordering went to get drinks there was no ice. I wanted iced tea and the tea was empty. So I told one of the workers. We sit down at the table to wait for our food and the ice and tea to be refilled. As I am sitting there I notice the tin basket with all the condiments in it and how filthy dirty it was. The malt vinegar did not have a cap and the bottle was filthy dirty! As were all the condiments inside the basket. The salt shaker had a tiny bit of salt stuck to the bottom. Gross! So I leave my table to check for some clean condiments and some salt sadly all the bottles at the counter were also dirty. As well as every single bottle and basket inside the restaurant on the tables! Gross! At this point I don't even want to eat my food because of all the germs and shit left on the condiment. Well guess who forgot to change the clock off day light savings time. So I was 1.5 hours too early for my movie. Thus bring me here for my late lunch. I wasn't super hungry so they let me order off the kids menu. Three choices, fish and chips, salmon, or grilled cheese. Comes with 1 side and a drink off the fountain bar. I choose the salmon. Palm sized thin filet grilled. Not bad for eating healthy. But I reversed that with some really good sweet potato fries and basil mint lemonade. Service was good. There's something about their poke bowl that i love so much! i dont actually eat here cuz i always order to go, and i love their lobster roll but i wanted to try something new so i got their poke bowl. as soon as i started eating, i been gobbling up like i havent eaten forever, it was that good! i've never felt like that to other poke shops, but i'm not sure what fish it was, i think it could be the white cod, but anyway, i actually live 17 miles, so i dont always go here, i really envy the people who live near here, but if i was in the area, i could probably stay and dine-in and try more dishes. as for the service, it was quick, i ordered in 1 min. and my order came in less than 10 min. so i'll come back for another review.... read more

Very clean storefront and quick service. The food however, wasn't as great :-( we ordered a sea bass with grilled zucchini and sweet potato fries & mussels over fries. The mussels tasted like they were definitely frozen from a grocery stores and then reheated. The sauce was good but having everything over a bed of fries made it ridiculously soggy. The sea bass was also kind of bland. I was hoping it would be more grilled/crispy, but only the sides of the fish were. Grilled zucchini was average, and the best part of that meal was definitely the sweet potato fries. Honestly the fries were super crispy and delicious and I wish I could say the same about the rest of the meal. I also didn't like that it didn't come with any sauces or lemon. That definitely would have helped to improve the flavor. Overall, it was a decent meal but I don't think I'll come back. read more

Stopped by on a whim after doing some shopping in the plaza. I'm glad we did because we were so satisfied and surprised with our food. My husband got a plate with mahi mahi, I got the gumbo and my son got the lobster roll. Everything tasted good. The gumbo had a kick and I loved it. The lobster roll had a lot of meat and Luckily it did since it was $24! My husband thought the mahi mahi was flavoured so good and it just melted in his mouth. The staff are nice but my experience wasn't that great. They served me food with a long hair right on top of my food after waiting about 20 minutes for it. They took the food back, then another lady comes by after 5 minutes asking if I want it remade, or a refund. I was hungry so I opted to have them remake it. I was recommended this place by my friend who had a fish craving. I am a huge fan of fish, whether it be raw or cooked. So I was excited when she whisked me to this little eatery within Riverside Plaza. I was unsure of what to order because I love fish so much, but I was on a budget, so I decided to buy four shrimp tacos. I got giddy because they also sold beer (Mexican beer, my favorite combo with fish) on the side, but I opted out as I am trying to diet. The total came out to a smidgen under $12. My friend order a salmon plate with zucchini and brown rice, which was a couple bucks more. We waited about 10 minutes before our food was served to our table. I could not believe my eyes, the tacos looked ravishing in their garnish of cabbage and chipotle sauce. Though I wish there was a little more onions or kick to them, I could not complain, they were delicious. As I type this review, I get sensory flashbacks to their delicious taste. As for my friend, her salmon plate looked like a work of art; a large salmon steak a top zucchini and fresh brown rice. I stole a taste and was whisked to heaven. For the price that we paid, the quality was excellent. I cannot rave enough about this place, especially for the short time I have spent here in between work and class. This place is good! We ordered the clam chowder, lobster roll, and the brussels sprouts & broccoli plate. The lobster roll was very good and the brussels sprouts were a very nice addition to dinner. Clam chowder was basic clam chowder but it was good! The only reason for 4 stars is because the worker taking our order was pretty rude. She was on the phone with another customer and just gave us the "one sec" finger with an attitude haha. But it wasn't too big of a deal. Will probably come back and hopefully meet a more friendly worker next time :) read more

Love this place ! Went for the first time a couple days ago after eyeing this place for months! The staff from the beginning were very friendly and helpful.They made suggestions on what I should try and even considered my dietary preferences. Once I was seated,my order of chowder came out shortly after along with my kale salad. The clam chowder was very hearty with an adequate amount of clams and nice consistency. Loved the freshness and did not need to add any salt for flavor. The kale salad came tossed in dressing which I'm usually particular about but it was actually a perfect amount. The blend of veggies and dressing was perfect but I saved a little to eat with my grilled salmon! I ordered the grilled salmon "pier style" which means you can choose 2 sides with your fish. I chose the broccoli slaw and grilled zucchini. The quantity and quality of the food was definitely worth the price . Throughout my visit the staff was very attentive making sure I was satisfied with my meal and offered condiments for my meal. Overall GREAT experience..I will be back! read more

The lobster roll here is delicious. Add fries and a drink for an extra $3 (just adding fries is also $3, which I think is stupid). Food doesn't come out super fast here, but it does come out fresh and hot. If you do get a drink, be sure to try the lemonade! Not sure if the pandemic is really affecting the quality of this restaurant but I've had some really bad service in the past year, but I had to place a review today since the smoked fish tacos which are my favorite from them and I was actually recommending it to my companion today after walking at Mt Rubidoux was really bad. The fish may have been from the old stock because it is not good and inedible. The clam chowder that we got had a rancid taste and sour so its probably already spoiled. Man I'm so disappointed because I've been going here for years, and even though I don't work close to the area I still try to go back whenever I can. The only reason I'm not putting a 1 star is because I really used to love going here for lunch and I hope the quality goes back. I was just happened to be in the area and feeling hungry last Saturday. I loved Fish and Chips + Fish Tacos. So I gave this place a try. Amazingly the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The portions were good. I ordered the Beer Battered Fish and Chips, 2 Crispy Fish Tacos and a Blackened Salmon Taco and Grilled Wild Sea-bass with Kale Salad and grilled zucchini Everything was very tasty. The fish tacos were fresh and the battered fish were fresh inside and crunchy outside. Let alone the fries were unresisted. Yum , making me hungry now and want to visit again somthis weekend. One of my top finds so far this year. Located in a great area with plenty for everyone to do, Pier 76 Fish Grill is a great seafood spot. The selection is simple but delicious. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The servings were more than filling and the drink selection is plentiful with choices from soda to beer on draught. I ordered the new smoked fish burrito with black beans rice and a creamy cilantro sauce. The meal was cooked fresh and quickly. I almost couldn't finish my meal. There were some chips fresh made included and they have a house hot sauce that great if you enjoy spicy. The tacos we're stuffed to the edge of the tortilla. The chicken was delicious and paired well with a custom blend of toppings including a sweet spicy salsa and fresh lightly coleslaw. The price is more than fair and the service was excellent. Can I just say this is probably my new favorite place for fish? I've had this location bookmarked on yelp for such a long time, but haven't gone until today. I ordered the fish and chips. Let me tell you now, I'm super picky about fish and chips. Its one of my favorite foods but it has to be made a certain way. This place definitely exceeded my expectations in this case. Staff seemed super worn out, but for the most part they're very helpful. They often walked around to see if anyone needed anything and cleaned the tables fairly often. The place was very comfortable and this is one of the places that have like craft soda (which I love by the way). Overall I would love to come again, despite it being a little out of my way. Nice BIG thick pieces of cod in a deliciously crunchy batter. Served with malt vinegar, tangy tarter sauce, and a juicy lemon. The fries were well seasoned (not too salty or too bland) and the whole thing was just a delight. The only bummer had nothing at all to do with Pier 76: because of where I live I got stuck in traffic and my fries died by the time I got back home. AND YET I STILL ATE THEM ALL.
