I live around this area and it's great to have this restaurant close by. The food is always great and very fresh. It's not fast food so be prepared to wait a little but when you get it you will appreciate it. My only complaint is the load music at times. When I see the DJ's are playing I just avoid it. Piggy's is one of my favorite go-to places for brunch & dinner. The outdoor patio is super spacious and comfortable for brunch. The inside seating atmosphere is dark and intimate for late night dining. For brunch: egg frittata (sub egg whites, all the way). For dinner: grilled chicken sandwich. The food here is always impeccable and consistent. The cocktails here are very unique. Some herbs (like the mint for the mojito) is from the back garden. How cool!? I am working my way around the drink menu. Favorite so far: Bloody Mary. The service is consistent as well, quick, and kind. The prices are also reasonable here. Piggy's is definitely in my top five of cute, favorite restaurants in the loop. read more

The valet people are completely unprofessional..... using the side streets to park there cars where people can in the neighborhood or other business patrons use to park... then wanna charge you for it... we will see if the manager or owner have a talk with there valet service and get this fixed... read more

Overall this place was really solid! I've never been before and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of outdoor dining space. I went on a Tuesday and they also had a solid happy hour. I got my burger with fries for $10 and a cider for $4 I believe. They also had many appetizers and other beers/ciders at a discount too! We sampled the brussel sprouts and they were pretty solid! The burger I got was extremely big, which made it a good value for the price we paid! The only negative part of my experience was that I was told multiple times by the waitress/bartender that the burger came plain and dry as all condiments were set aside for people to put in as they please, which is perfect for me as I did not want condiments. However, when the burger came out it had ketchup all over the top and bottom of the bun, which was disappointing. Overall the burger was still decent but wish it had come without condiments! Went with a party for late brunch. Due to Covid-19 menu was small. Great music, patio outside seat had nice appearance but was too hot to eat outside. So we ate indoors near bar area. Not a long wait for a popular spot. Most of us had the chicken n waffles plate. My first time for chicken n waffles plate. Was looking for whole fried chicken wings instead, but wings were smaller fried. Seems wings didn't have much season on them, but rest of the plate was great. Drinks were pricey, and also weak. After switching the mimosa for the blossom, I thought these drinks had too much flavor over alchohol or just watered down. Parking was the headache. Outside either on the street near apartments and homes which was limited, or 4 available parking for restaurant, very difficult location on a busy weekend. read more

We came here for Sunday brunch. We arrived at 10:50-11 and had no problem ordering, but wait 30 minutes and the wait to order is out the door! The outdoor patio had nice shade, tvs, and fans. There was a DJ starting around noon. The best meal was the bagel & lox. The runners bowl was good, but not filling for $14, wished it had more broccoli instead of kale. They were out of the frozen sangria that was on the board, but the Bloody Mary was great! Once the dj started it was harder to have conversation, so if you come with older members of your family you should go early! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Took an overnight trip to Houston to break the monotony of not seeing actual humans in the world since working remotely for 3 months. *shakes fists at COVID-19* Local friends suggested this location and we were happy to meet them after the 2 hour drive from Austin. Parking was easy to find and the tables are distanced with signs on tables of which patio seats are open. A DJ was outside spinning tunes at a rate that wasn't terribly loud-- in fact, we sat next to him and was mostly able to hear each other without screaming at the top of our lungs. Boyfriend and I didn't eat food so I cannot comment on that and servers were only running plates, so I can't comment on that either. However, all orders are being taken by the masked hostess at the front. It wasn't possible to distance very well when waiting in line, but they did have sanitizer at the bar. The frozen drink special was a mimosa, which was tasty and had way more alcohol than most frozen drinks dispensed from machines. I had 3. And I smiled all afternoon. read more

Service was awful - it wasn't even that crowded with the exception of one big party... from what I observed we weren't the only ones with horrible service. My girlfriends and I decided to check out the place during the evening & we went to get the Ribeye Steak special, it was delicious. Because of the attractive pictures and menu items, I had great expectations for this restaurant. Regrettably, the photos and presentation of the plating are all a ruse. I took my mother here for a Mother's Day brunch and it was all a first time for my family. My brother and I both had the chicken and waffles, while my younger sister ordered the chicken sandwich and my mother ordered the Benedict. Our entire meal was flavorless. The chicken was tasteless, as if it had been fried without any seasoning. My little sister's chicken sandwich with sweet potato had no flavor, and my mother's Benedict had no salad dressing and the eggs were overcooked. 2.5 hours to serve an average burger. Please fire your kitchen staff. We were told they were "slammed" on a Wednesday night. There were 5 empty tables. How it takes 2.5 hours is beyond me. Atmosphere was nice. I can see they put a lot of time and effort into it. If you have any respect for you time in life, don't waste it here. Brunch food/service was a major disappointment; even when the restaurant was extremely slow. Food was massively meh, and service was completely non-existent. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was the most basic-tasting chicken sandwich I've ever had (even with a list of tasty ingredients like bacon, jalapeno ranch, etc). Waiter was oddly MIA nearly the entire meal - 2/3 of the tables were empty, so it wasn't busy at all. We all ordered drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and not once were we asked if we wanted a refill. We all ended up finishing our waters, and never had those refilled as well. Honestly, a bit bizarre. After giving up on potentially getting drink/water refills, we just decided to get the check. We asked for the check, he said "yeah", and walked off immediately. We never said we wanted split tabs, but he assumed as much, and left before we could get a word in. Took over 20 minutes to get them back, and every single tab was wrong. Rather than send them back to wait another 20 minutes for the correct tabs, we just Venmo'd each other to make the corrections, and paid. I also ordered a side order (biscuit) with my meal, and it never came. I wanted to ask our waiter to bring it out, but he literally never came by once between our food getting served (by different wait-staff than our waiter) and when we had to hunt him down to ask for the check. Note: waiter added auto-gratuity of 20% to our table of only 6. Not sure if that's their policy (and I'd have still tipped 20%, having worked in food service for years), but it felt odd for a party of that size, especially considering how lacking the service actually was. Parking is difficult to find, but they offer valet for $7. Valet staff was very friendly. The two stars in this review are for the patio and accompanying DJ. The DJ had some fire Donna Summer mixes playing, and the patio has a real chill vibe. If that DJ can get a raise, consider this a vote 'for'. read more
