Karla is sweet but the other techs I've had are rude. Horrible customer service overall and way over priced for the quality of work. They'll tell you one thing then charge a ton more when you're done. If you are even 2 minutes late they guilt trip you and call you out in front of everyone. My feet are never smooth after pedicures so it's a waste of money. The rockstar colors are pretty but way too expensive just for glitter they mix up. Honestly you're better off going to a place that will charge a reasonable amount and treat you with respect. Don't waste your money or time going here. Oh and one more thing they will wax your entire eyebrow so don't get that done there! read more

Update: my gel mani didn't event last 10 days before the polish started to peel. I have consistently gotten 3 weeks out of gel manis at my regular place. Insanity is repeating the same action and expecting a different result. I knew when I came here today that I was going to leave unhappy, yet here I am. I didn't have time to go to my normal place today, and I won't be making this mistake again. I had a powder dip manicure and wanted to get gel. I should have known to just cut my losses and go when the technician tried to file them down with the drimmel type tool instead of soaking. I insisted she soak them and she started pouting like a toddler and stomping around. In the manicure process she ended up ripping one of my nail tips and had to patch it (just picked a big glob of acrylic out from under my nail), but a second one she couldn't patch, so that nail is just shorter than the others. She was really rough and it was obvious she was annoyed throughout that I had her soak my nails. She also hovered around the counter when I checked out, to see if I left a tip. Awkward! read more

This review is solely due to Kate. Cuz she doesn't give me a half ass nail job in a hurry and was picky about her work for all the right reason. Are they pricey? A bit more than most salons but you really get what you pay for. Came tovisit family during Spring Break and badly needed a mani-pedi for me and the teenage daughter. They sold me on the deluxe pedi. I thought "hell, I'm on vacation, let's do it!".OMG best decision the nail technician talked me into. The scrub, the wrap, the massage all heavenly!!! Their color includes the normal stuff, gel and HALO which was the best thing for my teenage daughter. This place will guarantee their work for up to a week...Which is unheard of in this industry. My nail technician took her time and didn't pry into my business with her small talk. If I can pick this shop and bring every aspect of it to San Francisco with me, I totally would. read more

The young lady was very friendly and knew how to hold a conversation she had very good customer service. The chairs were also pretty comfortable . The Bad: This place is a bit pricey , for instance I got a regular pedicure with gel polish (45) . I asked for white nails with diamond top coat which is usally a thick gel . Instead I received a "rockstar" which is just plain old glitter. I was charged 10$ extra for just glitter. My toes are also crooked but I'll fix that at home . Overall I paid 65$ including tip . Went here for a girls pedicure day. Worst pedicure I have ever had. Me and my sister got the deluxe pedicure my sister was seat before me and my nail tech finished my pedi way before my sister was done. The nail tech was rough the whole time. She filled the tub with hot water that burned. Then when it came to the sugar scrub she only rubbed it on the tops of my feet repeatedly so hard that it felt like she had scrubbed 10 layers of skin off. Then when it came to the massage she only massaged the tops of my feet and never the bottom. A few time that I had glanced up she was falling asleep during the massage. When I got the hot towel treatment the other nail tech told her the towels were too hot but she still proceeded to put the towel on. Over all the lady was a bad tech. Amanda was the nail tech my sister got and she did an amazing job. She took her time with every thing she did. My sister would definitely recommend Amanda. read more

I'm sad to say I had to stop coming here. I love Ben and his amazing sense of humor but I couldn't keep paying for gel polish that chipped 3 days after having it put on. They do have a vast array of colors but watch how they add polish thinner to the gel colors. It compromises the integrity of the polish. Was around the area a few weekends ago, and came here because my friend wanted a mani pedi. I was a little hesitant but I went anyways. Ended up just doing a pedi in the foot spa. Not sure why this place has some unpleasant reviews, but this was one of the best experiences I've had in a nail salon. Maybe it was a bad technician or something, but I would suggest going back to let them rectify their mistake. The guy that worked on me, I think his name was jimmy, did a fantastic job, cutting no corners. He took his time and chatted with me even though it was super busy inside. I would definitely suggest requesting for him. Interior decor is awesome and matches their name perfectly. They have a bunch of stations and massage chairs so space is not an issue. It's super cozy and clean inside. Oh I also saw some other girl get an ice cream pedicure for her birthday, made me want to do it as well! Lastly they have quite a few promotions and raffles/giveaways of some sort when I went so give this place a try! I didn't win anything though, sadly. The technician was so rough with the callus remover I thought for sure my feet were going to start bleeding and my right heel is actually a little swollen in one area. When she put the sugar scrub on she rubbed so hard on my legs that she left small little scrapes all of over them so when she put the mud lotion stuff on my legs actually burned a little due to the scrapes. She never did anything with my toe cuticles at all and she never massaged my legs or feet at all. My nail tech said her name was "B" and she did a terrific job at making my nails beautiful! I tend to be picky being a casino dealer I need my hands to look good and B nailed it! The shop I went to previously charged over 40 bucks for the same service and pink nails was under that. BONUS! I will definitely be going back! And to comment on the chemical smell as earlier noted in another review, I didn't have that experience, in fact each station had a light station with a built in fan and powder/fume vacuum! They take really good care of me every time! I first came to get a mani pedi with Vivian and she was so awesome I decided to come back! This time I just did a mani with Ryan. I told him I had a black and white party to go to this week and he was able to help me decided on a design. Love their customer service- they make sure you understand the prices and what you're getting. It can get a little pricey but it's totally worth it! Came here at the recommendation of my cousin. I was able to call after work and get a last minute appointment. I chose to have the deluxe pedicure, which was pretty awesome, my only complaint on that though is the got towels they put on your feet are extremely hot at first, I almost had to kick them off. Burn baby burn! My nails. Oh my nails. The first time I've gone somewhere and they've done EXACTLY what I've asked, I had a pic of what I wanted and they were able to mimic it spot on. I couldn't be happier with how my nails turned out. And seeing how I was the last person in there before they closed I didn't feel like they were rushing me or irritated with me. Good customer service from all employees I encountered. I have to take away one star though because I feel they extremely expensive. Today though we were told that Autumn was sick(it happens but I'd like a heads up so we have an option to reschedule). They didn't call because they make it a policy not to do so and also don't allow their techs to have our numbers because we are considered clients of the salon not our preferred technician. He also was very careful and thorough, didn't rush any of the steps in either the mani or pedi. He made my birthday nail appt completely perfect! Came in for a quick polish change (as I have 3 other times) and I left feeling completely disgusted and fingers bleeding. As a walk-in, the young Hispanic lady assigned me to an older Asian woman (can't remember her name) she didn't seem right from the beginning of the encounter, she continuously went to the back and returned with nothing in hand. She couldn't keep her focus, cut me within 2 minutes and it never ended. I'm not sure if she was high on drugs or was truly tired but she kept closing her eyes and breathing deeply. I wish I was being dramatic. I'm having a hard time even writing this, I'm mad at myself for even paying. I just needed to get out. I'm not saying you need to avoid this place 100% because ive encountered great employees but the owners and management really need to monitor their staff better.
