The food was good but not good enough to excuse the poor service. There are plenty of other great Mexican food choices in the city of Boston, I wouldn't go out of your way to try Pink Taco. And I hate to say that because I absolutely loved the Pink Taco in Washington DC. I sat at the bar with my boyfriend hoping for quicker service, but somehow still got forgotten about. We waited about 10 minutes for my margarita and a refill on water. The classic margarita was not tasty or refreshing at all. We also waited a while for chips and salsa, which was devoured in a few minutes. Make sure to ask for extra salsa because the cups are tiny. The restaurant didn't appear to be busy, but giving them the benefit of doubt maybe they were short staffed? After waiting and waiting we finally got our food, the chicken fajitas looked amazing but I had to wait a few minutes because the tortillas weren't brought out with the fajitas. I was super impressed by the seasoning of the chicken, it was so good and I think it will make for some great leftovers tomorrow. I'm glad we tried the Boston Pink Taco, but we probably won't be back due to the inattentive wait staff.

Had a great meal at pink taco! The staff was super friendly! Our server was Freddy and he was great, very personable and got us everything we needed! This restaurant is so fun and has some great decor that is super insta-worthy! From neon signs to murals, and everything link this spot is so much fun!! The food and drinks are also incredible! For cocktails we got a strawberry marg, sinful sangria, Cadillac, frozen mango com chile, passionista, and something pink drinks that all had beautiful presentation and tasted great!!! For apps we tried the nachos, birria quesadilla, Taquitos and queso fundido that were all delish but the birria quesadilla was prob my fav! For mains we got the steak fajitas, carne asada tacos, fried lobster tacos and carne asada enchiladas. And of course we couldn't skip dessert so we tried the tres leches churro ice cream sandwich, the chocolate cake and the fried ice cream! The chocolate cake was a bit dry but the fried ice cream was wrapped in fruity pebbles and was SO good

(Visited, 2/28/25) I visited Pink Taco (my second time here) with a group of friends to take advantage of Restaurant Week. The restaurant wasn't as packed as we expected, so we could actually hear each other talk -- a nice surprise. We all ordered from the special menu. I started with the taquitos, which were delicious and perfectly crunchy. The meat was seasoned really well. For my entrée, I got the enchiladas, which came with rice and refried beans. Everything was super tasty. I'm someone who loves to smother my food in sour cream, and I definitely did! Since dessert was included -- and I knew exactly what I wanted -- I made sure to save room by not finishing my whole entrée. The dessert did not disappoint. If you love Fruity Pebbles or fruity flavors in general, this one's for you. The mix of the pebbles with the cinnamon on the bottom is the perfect combo. It's a must-try! One thing I loved: they serve Coca Cola in glass bottles. It reminds me of home, and honestly, Coke tastes so much better from glass than plastic or a can. Our server was friendly and attentive for the most part, though I did have to remind her twice about a couple of things I asked for. Side note: I'm not sure if it was because of the occasion, but they had a security guard at the entrance checking IDs. He was on the phone when I walked up, so it took him a minute to acknowledge me -- not a huge deal, but worth mentioning.

I was visiting in Boston for a fantastic event at the Cambridge innovation center and decided to stop for a drink and an appetizer before I headed to the airport. My friend and I pulled up and sat outside, and we were served by a really eclectic but wonderful waitress who made sure I had one of the best margaritas I've had in a while. We didn't have enough time to dig into the food, but I definitely recommend this location for people watching and.good service.

Chicken Quesadilla it comes with Guacamole, Salsa , and Sour Cream .

After attending a fun event at Pink Taco, I decided to visit on my own! When I arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty and quiet, but I rather have that than having to wait and dealing with the noisiness. Inside, it's spacious with the tables spread out. The indoor lighting is darker, which is nice and easy on the eyes. Since I love food coloring, I ordered everything pink: the original pink tacos and the pink pancakes. -- Both were delicious! But they're quite expensive... $19 for three small tacos and $15 for small pancakes. For the experience, it's worth trying Pink Taco once, just to say that you have eaten pink food. Otherwise, I'd only consider coming back for happy hour, where they offer a pink taco for just $4.

I am honestly really disappointed in this place because I really like the scenery, vibes, and food. Yet, the service was slow and unprofessional. My friends and I arrived for a late dinner, the restaurant was not packed and was quite empty. The server was efficient at getting our orders in. After that, the server barely checked on us (once every 30 mins or so) and no where to be seen. We did not get our food after 45 mins. When we tried to call the other servers for an update and the check, we got unwanted glares. The food was amazing! The nachos were one of the best nachos I had in Boston! The burrito and enchiladas were phenomenal. Something Pink drink was very diluted in juice and I could barely taste the alcohol which I am not a fan of. Unfortunately, the food took too long to arrive and the service was bad that I lost my appetite once the food arrived. Pink Taco has great potential. They need to work on their service and efficiency. Hopefully they can improve throughout the next few months.

Nut allergy friendly: Everything we ordered was fine. Order - to - Appetizers: 15 Minutes Order - to - Entrees: 40 Minutes We walked in on a Monday night with a group of about 12 after having a reservation messed up somewhere else. Thankfully, Pink Taco had the space by putting some tables together. There are a variety of seating options here, from circle tables to bar seating to normal larger tables. The food was overall okay. Overpriced if anything. The appetizers were adequately sharable and if I came back I'd just get some nachos to share. $20-$30+ (with tax and tip) for three tacos is absurd, and they are not that filling. My margarita pitcher was around $60 after tax and tip and served about nine small drinks - I'm still not sure if it was more efficient, with the amount of ice they gave. Service was not great either. I had to go up to the bar for water refills and to get cups for people when they combined tables and forgot to set one of them. We got chip refills once for the entire table of 12. Overall, wouldn't come back but it is a decent option for larger groups.

Restaurant is super cute, spacious, loved the decor. I ordered the pink drink and it was quite tasty, I'd recommend. The food... not so much. I ordered the carne asada tacos and it was terrible.. the tortilla was dry and stale. The meat was overcooked, bland and dry. I was very disappointed in the quality. When it came out, it was just room temperature. Given the quality, they were probably just sitting out on the counter. Our server was lovely and quite attentive.

The Thursday/Sunday Tale: A Two-Part Review of Pink Taco My recent experiences at Pink Taco were so dramatically different, it felt like I was visiting two completely separate restaurants. Let me break it down. Thursday Night: 5/5 Stars This was the experience that made me want to come back. The service was on point, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. We had a great time and left feeling completely satisfied. It was a flawless evening from start to finish. Sunday, August 10th: 1/5 Stars Then came Sunday. To call this an utter disaster would be an understatement. When we arrived, the place was slow, but we still waited for about five minutes with no one even acknowledging our presence. I ended up grabbing menus and seating us myself. Another 15 minutes went by after we ordered, and we still had no drinks. Our waitress, who seemed completely out of it, finally came over 30 minutes into our "service" to inform us that the pineapples were bad. She brought me a glass of something I didn't order and a margarita flight that was missing the alcohol. Shortly after, she dropped the wrong food at our table and, in a spectacular display of incompetence, knocked over the entire flight of drinks. In the midst of this chaos, a different table I had personally seated to help out the staff was also completely ignored. They got chips and salsa but no water and no order taken, and eventually, they just got up and left. The food, when it finally arrived, was a huge disappointment. The pork was drier than the Sahara, and the churros were stale and overly crunchy. To add insult to injury, our waitress started clearing away items we were still eating because they had arrived so late. Just as we were about to give up entirely, Zoe, who I was told wasn't even on the main team anymore, stepped up and completely took over. She was an absolute lifesaver. She took control, fixed our order, and salvaged the rest of our night with her professionalism and genuine care. She is the only reason this review isn't a zero-star rating. The difference between my Thursday and Sunday visits was shocking. It's clear that the quality of your experience here is entirely dependent on who is working. The service we received on Sunday was unacceptable, and without Zoe's intervention, it would have been a complete waste of time and money. Pink Taco needs to get its Sunday staff sorted out to ensure a consistent dining experience for everyone.

The restaurant is so cute inside and has great decor but the food could be better. I got the birria tacos and was disappointed. They lacked a lot of flavor and just overall were not worth $20. I've had better birria in the Boston area for cheaper. The servers were super accommodating for our party of seven. Some of our items were forgotten but it happens. I don't think I'll come again.

If you're looking for tacos in Seaport, go to Bartaco instead. Before I get into the mess (because it was a mess), I want to give a shoutout to the service and our server who really tried to make sure we still had a good experience regardless of everything. Waited 15 mins before getting brought to a dirty table (?) even though there were more open tables. Stood there confused for a few minutes until someone came to wipe the table and seat us without menu's. After asking for menu's we put in drink orders that took 15 mins to come. Then participated in Taco Tuesday. Took about 25 mins to get 5 cold tacos that was super dry. I can't recommend the Carnitas, Pink, and Al Pastor tacos because they just weren't good. Basically finished the meal feeling super bummed out about everything. It's also extremely loud so good luck hearing... anyone. read more

Enjoyed their guacamole tremendously along with their chips and would go back again to have them. They were some of the best that I have had in a while. They were ready quickly, too. Their vegetarian tacos were ok but too expensive for the size and overall flavor. I found the shells too oily. Their tortilla soup was good but on the thick side. I would equate it more to a stew and to be enjoyed when it is cold out. It took a while for the entrees to be served over lunch so ensure you have time. read more

To start with the ambiance is very welcoming for all ages, the service is awesome even thought I came at day time. The bartender offered me menus, chips & salsa with water super efficiently and fast, Very attentive and caring. We were expecting a Mexican or American Taco experience and we got a Sloth one. Everything was very slow, it seemed like forever for anything. We expected American because Pink Taco is a synonym for Vagina but the restaurant was covered in Dia De Los Muertos drawings which we pretty cool. The Margaritas were amazing and the Cadillac was strong!! The strawberry was frozen and came in a pineapple like you were in Key West or a tropical island. They couldn't get our food order right. They lobster dishes smelled fishy and tasted good. My wife loved her taco bowl but the Baja taco, lobster taco and quesadilla was basic. The guacamole said it had jalapeños but wasn't spicy and basic AF. Nothing really stood out but the drinks but they took forever to come out on a slow Sunday evening. read more

My friends and I were looking for an upscale dinner experience. After a rough start, Pink Taco turned the dining experience around thanks to it's unique menu and stimulating atmosphere. The initial seating we a hassle. The hostess told me 20 minutes. After 20 elapsed she brushed me off with "15 more". We go seated in a poor location between the restroom and kitchen door. No way -- I moved my party down to a table closer to the wall of Tequila (pretty cool). The frozen margarita and quesadilla appetizer turned things around instantly. Our server was attentive, kind, and personable. The Pink taco entree was a bit spicy and average overall -- I don't recommend the pickled onions (ask for light onions). The unique shell and fresh avocado were dish's redeeming qualities. Ultimately the atmosphere, decor, and buzz of the patrons made it a fun dining experience rather than a tasty one. The music was a bit too loud, but it fit for a Saturday evening. I'd certainly go back with a group of friends, but get a seat near the bar or in the very back, and ditch the pickled onions. read more

Came here today (7/29) for lunch when we down in the area looking around. I saw the reviews were hit or miss for this place, but we decided to give it a go since we were all hungry and needed to cool off since it was pretty hot out. Wasn't very busy when we showed up which was nice and got seated right away. Pretty cool layout and decor inside. Our son was fascinated with the wall of tequila bottles back by the bathrooms! Our waiter was Zane and he was fantastic. Made sure we had everything we needed! The wife and I ordered the barria tacos and the kiddo had the carne asada tacos. Decent sized tacos though the barria tacos weren't what we were used to having but they were good nonetheless! The kiddo had no complaints about his! Would definitely check it out again when we come back! read more

I came back ! This time it was for my moms 50th birthday, let me tell ya, she absolutely LOVED IT !!!! Our waitress was super friendly and made sure my mum got her birthday dessert which was by far the best fried ice cream we've had. Drinks , appetizers and entrees were nothing but delicious. I was in Seaport for an event on a Sunday night and we had a group of 8. We tried Bartaco first but they had a 45 min wait. When we got to Pink Taco, they carded us at the door. We got a few drinks and chips with guacamole for the table. Everything was served fairly quickly and the ambiance/setup was great for a group. They had a happy hour menu for food items - the pink tacos and beef tacos were pretty good for the price. I would come back to try the Taco Tuesday specials. read more

Our party of 6 came in on a Saturday night an hour prior to closing and they were welcoming and seated us immediately. We ordered a few signature cocktails, one of which was supposed to come in a pineapple but they had run out by the end of the night. The drinks were flavorful and sweet but still could taste the tequila/mezqual. Food wise we only got the chips and guac, I wish they gave us more chips but there were no refills. Overall, a good quick experience as we were looking for open spots and City Table had locked there doors next door an hour and a half before closing and wouldn't let anyone else even though the place was packed. read more

This was a nice taco place. The atmosphere was really chill and laid back with good music playing. Our server was really good and friendly. The food did not taste good the flavor wasn't their not sure if it was the day I went, but we spent a lot of money for the food to be tasteless. White washed taco spot, Drinks are okay if you like heavily saturated juice. Service was good, all of our food came out cold and there was no one in the restaurant. read more

On my lunch break, I stopped by here with some of my colleagues and we had a wonderful meal! Our server was very attentive and on point. We started out with drinks and I loved the frozen margarita. The guacamole and queso dip with chorizo were great starters. I had the fried lobster tacos and they were so amazing! It was generously filled with fried lobster which was so delicious, and topped with avocado which added a nice texture. The entire meal was finished within minutes! read more

This place had average ratings so was skeptical to go but we had very few options, so we went here anyway. Nachos- nachos were quite loaded, lots of cheese, jalapeños ! Except for some chips were kinda burnt. I also expected a bit more guacamole in it. But overall, they were good. 4/5 for nachos. Street corn- I personally love sweet corn, so we ordered one for the table. They were as expected, with a little hint of red chilly powder and fair amount of cheese! Really liked this appetizer! 4.5/5 for the street corn Chile poppers- good, but bland apart from the Chile in it. The dip was good though. 3/5 for the poppers. Taco bowl- the bowl we ordered was the asada, but we made it vegetarian, so it was beans. Not happy with this dish, because it didn't really have any flavors, quite bland and basic in taste. Sweet potato tacos - these were also average, again, not very flavorful. read more

The food here was super yummy and so were the drinks!! The atmosphere was great for a girl's night out, and you can definitely eat here with large groups which is hard to come by in Boston! The vibes were great but where we were sitting the music was definitely too loud to have a conversation at our table. Also, if you order your drink in the pineapple, beware it might leak!! My friend's frozen strawberry marg leaked all over the table, but our server was great with helping clean it up and replacing the drink for free :) Besides that it was an amazing experience and I'll definitely be back!! read more

I saw this place and tik tok and was influenced. Oops. I like to take into consideration the vibe, quality of food and drink for dollar, and service. Our server was very polite but wasn't sure what the HH menu was. On the HH menu provided, the QR code didn't work and the only things listed were chips & salsa, guac, queso, and mini nachos. I ordered the pollo fajitas and was pleasantly surprised with the food after reading some reviews of the food. Everyone at my table of 5 was really happy with their entree order. However, we also ordered a margarita pitcher and it was a little thin to split between the 5 of us. Once we received our check, it turns out there were HH tacos! One of the members of my table ordered the Pink Tacos (which she raved about) but they rang up as a HH priced item at $8. I'm so glad this place is able to operate during Covid times. The tables were spaced out and the workers were wearing masks. They have outdoor and indoor seating. On a Friday afternoon, the place was not too busy. The food was so flavorful and filling. The street corn was the best part. I'm not sure how the spicy margarita was but my friends and I found the other drinks to contain way too much syrup. Unfortunately we were unable to finish the drinks. Sadly don't see myself returning to Pink Taco. The staff was friendly, however did get our order incorrect. Our first round of drinks was off the cocktail menu and they were WAY too sugary. Next round we tried off menu skinny margaritas with Casa Migos and these unfortunately just tasted like a glass of lime juice. The food was sadly also only mediocre at best. I will give them two stars for a nice trendy ambiance but this place could definitely use some improvements! read more

This is a great place to go for the aesthetic. I took my friends here on a girls night and they loved it. My friend I split the nachos and the carne asada empanadas and they were very good. I enjoyed the mango margarita and they also had a good spicy margarita as well. The food is a little over priced but being in the seaport it's what you expect. read more

I had heard so many good things about this restaurant so I was surprised when I encountered subpar food and service for a premium price. I ordered the pink taco off the happy hour special thinking that the taco named after the place must be good. However, I found myself with a mouthful of picked onions and unseasoned chicken. I could not taste any of the other ingredients. The service was disappointing. I had to get up to find my server after looking around and trying to flag other servers down without success. I do have to say that my drink was spectacular! I ordered the mango margarita that had a spicy chili salt on the brim of the glass. And some of my girlfriends ordered the strawberry margarita that comes inside a pineapple. That drink is very picturesque. Might return for drinks and drinks only! read more

Tried Pink Taco for the first night of my trip to Boston and honestly was underwhelmed with the overall experience. First the highlights: the ambiance was nice; the decor was cute and fun. It is very much a good spot for Instagramable photos. The complimentary chips and salsa were also delicious, warm salty chips and tasty salsa. We also ordered the street corn as an appetizer and the flavor there was delicious. If we just got chips and street corn I would give this place a 3/5. Now the not so great. We ordered the spicy margarita and the OG pink margarita and they both honestly just fell flat. I think they could have been better if we ordered top shelf liquor but you would hope for 18 dollar margaritas the tequila in them would be drinkable. Our server was nice about it though and took them back and removed them from our bill. However once we sent those back she wanted to stay away from our table and didn't come back to check how our food was. The carne asada tacos were lacking flavor and dry. The green salsa on them was their saving grace but would not order them again. We also got the cauliflower tacos which was an adventurous choice on our part and unfortunately a bad move. The cauliflower in the tacos tasted soggy and the only flavor from them was the tomato and onion salsa on top. It just had no flavor and was pretty inedible. I ordered the Sweet Potato Tacos and I appreciated that they came with a side of rice and beans as well! *It is important to note that you should ask to substitute the pinto beans with black beans if you do not eat meat, because their pinto beans are cooked with pork fat. I would love if this was stated on the menu but luckily one of the waitresses let me know. If you're looking to grab drinks( good margaritas!) and apps with friends, it will due just fine. It's a Fun and lively atmosphere. However, if you're looking for an authentic Mexican cuisine/ taco experience.... Don't waste your time. The food here is not well executed and the Barbacoa was inedible. It was so dry, that It felt like I was biting down on pieces of plastic.(if you're looking for tender and juicy beef... this ain't the place) The pork and fish tacos weren't all that much better, but, at least, reasonably edible. The atmosphere was nice. It was pretty good weather for sitting outside. (The inside looked nice as well. Definitely some wonderful art.) Mask was required for inside seating and hand sanitizer was offered at the entrance.No wait to be seated. We were seated quickly outside as we chose when asked at arrival. A server greeted us quickly offering water and making sure we knew the menu was digital. My friend and I were impressed by the QRC code. (Although I wonder if we didn't have smartphones to use would they have offered a paper version? I did see one at the entrance.) We got time to look thru the PDF menus that popped up and ordered drinks with an appetizer to share. We chose the infamous frozen margarita they serve in a pineapple ($15) and upon our servers recommendation the Nachos (Carnitas). The guys bringing the food out were not sure what table they were bringing food too. We were approached with food that was ours and our appetizer was almost given to someone else but it was worked out. They should def put numbers on the tables or develop some kind of system that combats that minor issue. It helped that some staff had one masks while some had them down (understandable) and others I saw none. Anyways the nachos had the works (see pic) and was delicious! However downside is mountain of nachos with a puddle of queso which was yummy, but they could have poured some on the side for dipping. Also the amount of meat on top needed to be more but overall it was good enough that I'd order again. The drink was yummy however i couldn't taste any alcohol which I usually like but I didn't taste a hint. It was like I was drinking a tasty strawberry slush which in my opinion isn't worth $15 even in a pineapple. Might I add I didn't get the inside of my pineapple to which I later saw another patron had on the side of her same pineapple drink. There's more to the drink but I'll get into that later. Food came out and again the guy was looking around confused until I spotted the plates and confirmed it was for our table. I thought he would take the appetizer and previous plates (like the do at other restaurants) but the guy didn't. The tables are a cute little square for 2 which as you can imagine it was hard trying to it all BUT I made it work. Friend comes back from restroom and notices how full the table is and makes the comment! (she used to be a waitress so I felt validated in my thoughts lol they could had of least asked) Food looked delicious!!! It was hard choosing but from what I had saw of the pics online I was excited. I did feel like things were slightly overpriced but hey we were in the seaport area. I opted for the Baja tacos with fried fish (Maui Maui? Idk if I spelled that right) which is 3 tacos with all the fixings (see pic) and pinto beans and Mexican rice? On the side (see pic). My friend got the chicken quesadilla (see pic). My friends quesadilla looked cheesy and perfectly toasted. She said it was good! I attempted to pick up my first taco which was hard because of all the fixings piled underneath. I removed some and then I was able to bite into it. It was good, but I've had better. I decided after eating my app and trying the taco I was going to finish my drink and maybe give that fried ice cream a try. I didn't even bother touching my rice and beans. I would have preferred yucca fries (but they don't have it on their menu) or maybe I'll ask to sub for a street corn next time (those are like $7-$8 tho). I finished my drink in disappointment to see the pineapple stopped short. It wasnt spiraled out as close to the bottom as I thought. If you look at the pic you can see they leave the stem in the middle to which I later cut out to eat the bottom of my pineapple. This is where I noticed the other patron with her slices next to her drink. Again our table was approached with a drink that we didn't order but we politely turned him away. We chatted some more amongst ourselves and with some patrons next to us. I wasn't surprised when they said they didn't enjoy their drinks they ordered earlier and they had gotten an pitcher to share but still felt it was watered down. They ended up with coróna beers which they said at least gave them a buzz! They also agreed the food was good but a little overpriced. Our waiter who was around some of the time was a doll. We made jokes as we requested our bill. I like that they were able to split the bill between me and my friends card. (Some places don't) My friend and I agreed if we visit again we'll share the nachos again but maybe we'll try those mimosas we were eyeing. I know I will definitely order that fried ice cream and let you guys know if it's beating Penang's in Chinatown. Not great but not bad Pink Taco! read more

In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. This place was rocking! It was our first time here due to our Uber driver suggesting it when we were scheduled to be dropped off across the street! So shout out to our Uber driver for the awesome recommendation! Walking in here I was a little skeptical due to the fact that there was not many guests, but the hostess greeted us with warm smiles right away and sat us down! Our server Lesley was RIGHT ON, she wasted no time in bringing us water and introducing us to the guacamole and chips (which by the way were a hit, although I suggest a little more lime) we was also a little skeptical about the pink tacos due to we felt as though they were going to be a pink colored taco. Our server Lesley assures is that they were not actually pink but deemed it's name for the world famous pickled pink onions (they were RESPECTABLE and spicy will be coming back and adding these onions as a topper for ALL meals) although I feel as though the chicken can use some seasoning/flavor but all in all we ENJOYED our first experience here! Our server knew what she was doing not to mention her continuos nice smile! She knew how to guide our lunch desires. Keep up the awesome staff! Went in tonight and as soon as I walked in, the hosts at the front were so rude. They said I needed a reservation in order to be seated. Number 1.... I called yesterday and I was told I didn't need one. Then the guy host told me he can sit me all the way in the back. Mind you there was open tables in the middle of the restaurant open. I also requested Carlos as a server because I had him on Saturday and was told he was working tonight. The other host told me that they can't do that. I'm sorry, but if a guest requests a server, I as a guest should come first. The lack of experience for your hosts you guys have is ridiculous. As soon as they told me they could sit me in the back and someone else will take it who was in urgent of tables... I immediately walked out of the restaurant. If that was the case, I would have not came at all. I had a party of 15 people who were just about to walk in. I will take my business else where. My wife doesn't really talk about her personal life to anyone unless she knows them well well and it was almost like our server was our close friend. i love her personality, her energy, her vibe. She is what made Pinktaco great. I was testing her on drinks and food off the menu and she knew it super well since we aren't from Boston. When Pink Taco opened in the Seaport the most common refrain was, 'another Mexican restaurant?!?' But Pink Taco is not just another Mexican restaurant - it truly separates itself from the rest and is an excellent addition to the neighborhood. The staff is amazing - everyone is super friendly, attentive and eager to help. High marks to Malia, Mikayla & Cassandra (and too many more to name) behind the bar. Definitely try a Something Pink or a Cadillac. Both are outstanding. I also was pleasantly surprised with the Mezcal Mule, since Moscow Mule's are my usual go-to drink. For food, the Street Corn is an absolute must. The Big Barbacoa Burrito is an out-and-out monster! It's enormous and delicious. You also can't go wrong with the signature Pink taco, especially if you like your tacos to have a kick. This place is a great afterwork hangout spot. I am not really the type of person to write reviews but I had gone in a few days ago with a few of my friends and my son and the service from a server there was super ridiculous. I believe her name was sandy. She was ringing in drinks wrong multiple times, she was super jittery and just seemed like she was in a hurry. And on top of that she didn't check any of our ID's! for all i know she could've served my 19 year old son. I know its still in the process since it just opened so we went back today with my husband and our 2 year old daughter. Michael and Carolyn were super helpful. The experience was a lot better. He was always checking up on us, had great recommendations. Actually asked me how my drink and bell tacos were and not just "is everything okay". Kurn was a manager that stopped by and asked if the food was great, of course everything is great!!! will be back because of him and our server. the 5 star rating is for our server and Kurn who made our day. Went out for a birthday dinner! We were taken to a table between the kitchen and bathroom. Obviously had to ask for another table away from that traffic. (many tables available) Politely we were told we could move down a table and sat by the beautiful tequila wall! Food was not good. Bland and tasteless. I was excited mainly for the drinks- however they were almost impossible to drink. SO VERY SOUR. After the flight I opted for a drink, I didn't think could be as bad- A Chelada. Chilled glass. salt rim. lime juice, cold beer. BUT it was like drinking sea water. the "lime juice" was a sour mix it was so salty and disappointing. Didn't dare order something else :) Service... Could have been so much better. It was a waiting game, they automatically added the 20% gratuity. We have no problem leaving a great tip for great service. I came to Pink Taco last night and I had an absolute blast! I noticed a couple of reviews from last night about the wait (for a table or food) but nobody mentioned that it was also insanely busy!! Boston was lucky to have a 75 degree day in the middle of winter so us Bostonians all decided to come out of our caves and flock to the seaport! While my group waited for our table we went to the packed bar. We had no issues getting our margaritas right away from the sweet bartender. We had an awesome large booth for our table when it was ready. Our server was funny and kind and truly cared about our experience. Our food came out hot and was tasty! Yes our food took a little longer than usual, but again the place was jammed. I have worked in that industry in the past and I know a little patience goes a long way. Stopped in yesterday with a group of people and as soon as we walked in, the people at the front stand were extremely rude. First things first, hire some new hosts. The second thing is, I get to my table and our server, I don't even know her name. All I know is she has bright red hair looked like she was on something. The smell was just awful. She slammed our drinks onto the table once we received them. Basically she just looked like she didn't want to be there. Slamming trays, just not it. I've worked in the restaurant industry before and this is not it. If you don't like where you're working... find somewhere else. I can not even believe this place was recommended to me. There were no managers to even speak to because an attitude was given to me. Half of your employees simply look like they don't want to be there. Went on opening day (one hour after it opened) and service took forever. Asked for tacos, which as it is in the name you'd expect them to be prepared to serve them at lunch. We were informed that they had somehow already run out of flour tortillas. Got our tacos and they were just ok, would recommend bartaco instead. Went back for drinks a few days later and after three attempts to serve us our margaritas (first time wrong one, second time was not as specified in the menu to which they respond "oh, you wanted it that way?") they were still not that good. Also ordered chips and guac and were served chips and salsa. When we requested guac as we had ordered we were brought a tiny side of guac, not the actual bowl of guac. Overall terrible service and I don't see how this place will stay in business with bartaco right nearby. read more

I finally made it to Pink Taco after seeing so many posts about it on my instagram. I expected it to be more like the New York one (since that's where I live,) but wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The music was freaking amazing! And our server Fatimma was great! They had so many great drinks, I didn't know which to choose lol, but she was so amazing she helped recommend some of the best drinks! Even the manager, Pamela, came to our table and brought us chips and salsa (MY FAVORITE!) She made sure we were enjoying our time there and our drinks. Went for a Sunday afternoon for drinks on the patio & then for dinner during the week. The vibes are always outstanding: music, service, and atmosphere is incredible. The new manager is outstanding and went out of his way to make sure everyone was having an awesome time. I will say one small misstep that's easy to correct is the food is customizable (pick your protein, pick red or green salsa) for several of the entrees. I would maybe say the combo of sauces and proteins doesn't always mesh the best, but the food is never bad, just not GREAT when that happens. So maybe if the servers knew what to recommend in terms of what proteins went best with what sauces when ordering it would take it from an 8 to a 10. Update! from 1 star to a 5 star review. Went in yesterday for lunch and it was extremely packed in the whole entire restaurant with only two servers!!! I was impressed on the fact these girls were able to take on the whole entire restaurant and still be able to provide great service and go above and beyond for us. Mind you it was just the two of them. I really do want to give a shoutout to I believe their names were Brandi and Sienna. After my first horrible experience, going back yesterday made me want to come back more. I told the servers what had happen the first time i came and they told me and my friends they are going to make our experience 10x better and take care of us. I'm happy they did. Unfortunately, a failure ON FOOD. Yes staff is great & friendly (props to the recruiter) but food is NO BUENO! We purposely ordered different dishes to share and the best one was 2 stars. 1.) Skip on the cheese and chorizo appetizer unless they change the chorizo brand in the near future. 2.) The Ape tacos were bad and had no authentic Mexican notes. Maybe an ancho note or even chipotle at least would have helped. I would credit the chip because it was the best part however it was a GARNISH. 3.) Carnitas = dull no flavor or marinade...slather it with green salsa. 4.) Pastor was the best over all. Could use more of the marinade or sauce. 5.) Beans and rice are the typical bad fillers. Wish they were better. As for drinks they are good... as any bar should have. read more

Went in tonight, it was extremely packed but me and my girls went out and we had Sienna as a server. Hands down, the best experience and service i've ever had in Boston. Me and my girls were literally having a conversation about how crazy, chaotic it was and how it was beyond super busy and our waitress was still always on top of us and constantly asking us if we wanted more drinks or anything else. You will never receive that at any other restaurants in the boston area. I will definitely be back because of her. She had great recommendations. The fact that it was such a hectic place and she had so many tables on her end, but still managed to constantly check up on us. I wouldn't say service, i would say she showed what hospitality really is. She's a real one!!! read more

Big group of me and my colleagues went in today and the kitchen did have some mess ups, definitely wasn't our servers fault. Sienna was an amazing server, very attentive. Even though the kitchen messed up on our end, she apologized on her end and had spoke to a manager about doing something for us. We are not from here, were in from a work conference and she started a great convo with us telling us all about Boston. She had so many tables that she kept up with us. Very hard worker, worked in a restaurant before so I would know. Saw that she was also bussing other servers tables quickly. Love the teamwork at pink taco and the food. Cadillac marg on point guys. Keep it up. Will be back in the summer. Hopefully sienna will still be there as our server. read more

enchiladas and tacos were delicious, the drinks were more amazing! Just moved to boston for work and stopped in earlier today for lunch with my family and my server had recommended the pink margarita and cadillac. I have never met someone who was super attentive to us and sold us on the food and drinks. she knew what she was talking about and was not just winging it. no, she knew the foods very well and the drinks. all the liquor that was in it and major ingredients in the foods due to our allergies. she's super adorable can't get over her. i'm definitely going to become a regular. Any of y'all head to pink taco, ask for sienna. though the food was ok, her service was on point. where do you find that now and days? read more

Nothing warms you up in 30 degree weather like margaritas and Mexican food! I loved my experience here despite what I read about their negative reviews. My girls and I came here for lunch and were in love with the atmosphere. We wanted to try out everything but sadly it was only 3 of us! Our server, Brandy (think that's her name haha) was absolutely amazing and also kept it real from beginning to end! She helped guide us through the menu and went over what was most popular from food to drinks. Since we've never been here before we took her advice and went with their signature margaritas which were the Cadillac and Something Pink (BOTH ARE DELICIOUS BTW). I will definitely come back for more! read more
