I hadn't flown into PIT for about a year(ish) so I had no clue a Pinkberry had opened up. Even though they have one in my city, it made me feel like Pittsburgh got a little cooler by this, literally and figuratively. But okay. The real tea is, like the other reviews, all about the service. I get to the counter. My girl is just standing there. Eventually she comes over and says, "flavors are in the middle". Well hello to you too... i pick the original tart and she goes, "you know that isn't ice cream." I wanted to say, "No sh*t, Sherlock.", but I didn't. If she was that concerned, maybe offer me a sample? But alas that didn't happen either. I got my yogurt and asked how many items. She said four or five. Ok, well, which is- 4 or 5?!?? I ordered five because well you said I could. And then i paid for my $7 and some change Pinkberry. It didn't taste fresh- the berries to the chocolate put on my yogurt. Probably the most disappointing Pinkberry experience overall that I've ever had. Hopefully it will get better there or they'll be closing up shop sometime soon. read more

This is the second time I've come here and the staff is nowhere to be seen. There's no bell to ring for service either. Last time I waited two minutes before a disinterested person came out and made my order. This time I waited five min. (half asleep so I zoned out, helping with my patience). Once I saw someone in the back through the window but they never looked out and they quickly disappeared. Whoever manages this locay needs to find better staff. I can't believe they're profitable like this. --- Wandered around and came back. Finally caught the person's attention since they had moved close to the window. When they came out, they were friendly and polite, unlike other reviewers' experience. But still making ppl in an airport (i.e., possibly in a big hurry) wait is no way to run an overpriced smoothie business. read more

Right next to Chick Fil A, always good to find a Pinkberry at the airport for dessert or snack. Service can be slow, but this common to airport locations. Sometimes you need to wait around for the person in the back to come out. Chocolate hazelnut flavor is pretty good, also vanilla bean not bad. read more

I usually go here to get a yogurt smoothie as it's the only place in the airport or around pittsburgh since we don't have any Jamba Juices. Flying back to PIT I figured I'd grab a smoothie on the way out. Well I left with no smoothie as I stood there, alone, for nearly 4 minutes without once being helped, whereas the chic fil a line next door was roughly 10 people deep. Even worse a woman employee walks into the back of Pinkberry and proceeds to not acknowledge me. Service is everything and this visit was disappointing. Unlike others on here, I didn't have a bad customer service experience, service was only slow. Ended up getting the pomegranate which was really good. Everything tasted fresh and on point. Would recommend it , it looks like customer service depends on who is currently working but maybe the managers will see this and correct this problem. read more

This is easily the highest quality food you can get at the Pittsburgh airport. I had the hazelnut-chocolate frozen yogurt and it was super creamy, dense, delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised. You can tell they keep the space very clean and polished, and the service was competent. Too bad the selection is limited to basically just fro-yo and smoothies, though next time I think I'll have to give said smoothies a try! read more

This is the best froyo! So glad it's at the airport. They let you sample some flavors and have smoothies too! It's a little pricey but really worth it. My favorite is the original or pomegranate with mochi. (It's more "tart" frozen yogurt than tangy.) read more

Arriving at the airport with over an hour to kill, too late in the day for coffee, too early for dinner... Frozen yogurt was a logical conclusion especially with the weather recently getting warmer. I haven't been to a Pinkberry in the longest time, but am once again a fan. It seems like they've made some changes to their options - wheras before they would charge you for each topping, now it is "whatever fits comfortably in the cup." You can also mix flavors now. I was with my parents, so we each got a medium with 2 flavors, allowing us to sample each others'. Original, grapefruit, and pear were all refreshing...as was mango, although the consistency was not like froyo and more like sorbet. And chocolate hazelnut was good and made me feel like I was eating the healthy version since it wasn't straight up ice cream. The biggest gripe I used to have with Pinkberry is that they swirled around the yogurt and the middle of the cup was empty - so it would look very full but the center would be air. Pleased to say this is no longer the case. We had a little bit of difficulty finding this within the airport because Chick-Fil-A's renovation wall smothered it, but rest assured, it is there! read more

first time customer and man was i impressed! the young man at the counter was super helpful and very patient. i split a medium sized cup of hazelnut chocolate frozen yogurt with my wife and let her pick the 4 toppings that were included. she went with cookie dough, cookies & cream, caramelized pecans, and mini peanut butter cups. so good! thank you airport staff! we will be back! read more

The Pinkberry at the Pitt airport was one of the rudest experiences i've ever had! Ruined my flight. Attendant in the back for 10 minutes, finally came out to the front and acted like he was doing us customers a favor by doing his job. Gave me the frozen yogurt without any of the toppings until i asked him twice. Extremely rude and apathetic attitude throughout. The store sells good yogurt but is ruined by such employees. The yogurt is fine but I don't know about the service. I never had Pinkberry before so I asked the attendance about how many toppings I'm allowed to choose, she says five in a terrible manner. However when I look at the reviews it says unlimited toppings. That's funny. The mongo is as hard as rock. read more

I came here because I had a really strong frozen treat craving and this was the only option I could see. Out of the (only) 6 flavors offered, they were out of 1, and 3 others were either not functioning/machine being cleaned. So only 2 flavors were available. I tried the chocolate hazelnut flavor, which wasn't even properly frozen but rather half melted, and got a few toppings. Spent about $7 for the small size.... and it was definitely not worth it. The frozen yogurt was great. The service was sloppy. She let me taste some of the flavors to pick one out. As I was tasting, she emptied the trash bin where the sample containers were to be tossed. It looked like she let it be messy for hours before that. I asked about what a topping was made of, and she was not sure, but she could tell me it was gluten free. As other reviewers have said, the staff lingers in the back, and at times, one has to wait for minutes before they come out to serve you. Not a good option if you are in a hurry. read more

I love Pinkberry and used to come here often. Everyone used to be so friendly. However, as of 7/30/16, the atmosphere has completely changed. When I approached the counter, the two girls at the front register did not wait on me. They sat at the register and one looked at me 4 times and the other looked at me then was like "oh." At this point, I walked away, but not before notice that 2 of the flavors were completely empty. I wasn't too keen on the idea of buying frozen yogurt from two employees not wearing their hats anyways. I was shocked to have been treated like that at a place where ALL the employees used to be so friendly. I will never go back here. I used to come here every Friday as my work required me to travel. After a promotion, I haven't been here often. I can see the dramatic switch in the dynamic of employees at this location. I remember two girls in particular that were very sweet and loved to wait on me. I can't remember names, but one had pink hair and the other a dark brown. They seemed like they loved their jobs and would stop at nothing to ensure my satisfaction. The way that I was treated on this day was nothing in comparison. I felt ostracized for waiting a dish of my favorite treat. They need to hire employees much like the two girls I mentioned above. I think that would increase revenue dramatically now.
