I had heard a lot of raves about Pinkbox and couldn't wait to try them. When I was done with my appointment, I looked up Pinkbox on Waze and made my way down. Got right to this location in less than 10 minutes drive. It was probably around 1pm on a Friday afternoon. Very helpful, friendly staff. This spot is open 24 hours so it seems like fresh donuts keep rolling out. Lots of interesting choices. Can be a bit overwhelming. These donuts were so good, fresh, and just knocked me out! Chose this place to get a dozen donuts as a thank-you present. Stopped by around 10AM today and when I walked in, I was immediately greeted. There was only a father and son duo ahead of me, but were taking a while as the son had to be prompted by the dad for his next donut choice (they were getting a dozen and the kid was deciding on #7). Well, the line started growing as 3 more people walked in. One worker was helping the duo, one was bringing stuff out from the back, and one was organizing/stocking the drink case near the cash register. Thankfully, the manager (I think) made eye contact with the girl working on the drink case and motioned that she should help customers. She quickly went behind the counter and helped me. She was polite and efficient. Got a dozen of the "classics" - they throw in one extra. The total came to a whopping $14! That's a steal! I was expecting to pay at least $20 but not complaining! I didn't eat any of the donuts so can't say anything about that, but based on the response from the recipient, I will definitely go back and try some when I need a donut fix (and don't we all, at some point, whether you're a fan of donuts or not?). On the south side of Lake Mead, just east of Buffalo. I think parking can be an issue, depending on when you go, as it's in a plaza with several other popular places - this one is across the street from Slater's 50/50. read more

They all are SO good. (Making a choice of one or two is always hard, I go in saying I'm buying 2 and come out with 6 or a dozen because they are all so good!) Some of them are on the way sweeter side, if you get a specialty donut you may want to grab some milk to go with it. They do sell out of certain flavors fast so to have all the choices I recommend getting there early. They are open 24 hours. Pinkbox Doughnuts is a pretty popular spot for their adorable cute decorated doughnuts. We got to try this on our trip to Las Vegas and we shared a dozen with about 20 different people. Overall we still couldn't finish it just because it was quite sweet and the filling to make the characters were filled with cream. I would say the designs were really cute and for photos yeah this place does a pretty good job. But as for eating it, this wasn't my favorite type of doughnut. Kids and maybe adults that have a sweet tooth craving would probably love and enjoy this spot! Worth a shot I would say. read more

Pinkbox Doughnuts Once I found the Instagram page for Pinkbox, I knew we were going to end up here. I know what you might say. Doughnuts are everywhere and they all look or taste the same. This couldn't be farther from the truth. We ended up getting a box of 6, so 3 for me and 3 for my wife. Choosing 3 doughnuts for me was difficult since everything looked so good. I eventually went with: Maple Bacon Doughcro, Java Mama, and Sup Shorty. Even though I am an avid lover of bacon my favorite of the three was the Java Mama. It's hard to put into words how amazing that coffee infused cream was. The Sup Shorty didn't have the amount of strawberries as the one pictured. Regardless of that fact, the Sup Shorty had a great combination of flavors. Finally, the Maple Bacon Doughcro's layers were awesome, very flaky, and chock full of one of the best foods that was ever created, BACON! My wife went with: Jack Lemon, Maple Bacon Doughcro, and Goin' Bananas. She loved all 3 of her choices and can't wait to get them again. read more
