Amazing food and hot coffee! Attentive service. Space is cramped, so you're on top of your neighbor, but the food comes out quick and it's really not a big deal. Had the Pinky's breakfast sandwich - it's probably enough for 2 people, but I persevered and ate it all! Great small breakfast/brunch restaurant on the main strip in Condado. The service was fantastic and their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. The menu has tons of breakfast sandwich/platter options and lunch options as well as a few different coffee variations including expresso and cafe con leche. It's not the largest restaurant so there can be a wait but it's well worth it! Fortunately, we came around lunch time so we were able to snag a table for two as others were leaving. I also wish there were sides available available like French fries or home fries. The sandwich size is large enough but I was prepared to order with my eyes! Within walking distance from most hotels on the strip and the beach. If recommend to anyone in the area looking for a delicious, affordable option to start the day that won't weigh you down. read more

If you find yourself in SJ PR, maybe having been bounced off a cruise ship at 7:30 AM, as we were, find your way here. It's a tiny spot, but it packs a massive punch. First and foremost, from where I sit, the scenery is exceptional. I am not speaking of skyscraper scenery or city scenery. I am talking about the crew. The coffee in SJ PR is not my style, so I avoided ordering any drinks. But, for those willing to try it, they have a good selection of coffee drinks. Read pretty good reviews about this place so we wanted to try for a quick bite. Upon arrival, there was a party that was waiting before us. Once they got seated, we also got seated. The person who was managing that pretty much took their orders also but not ours. Another person came and was seated by the same guy and he also took his order. Both parties food came out and yet we're still waiting to order. 10-15 mins went by I made eye contact with him so we can place our order. He gave me the wait finger so I'm like ok. Waited another 5-10 mins and a waitress came. Not him, a waitress. That was pretty annoying. The waitress was super nice and apologetic for the wait. This place was throwing me off from the start because of him. Food - We Encountered another incident here. When the waitress took our order, we tried the pinky's special and a cubano sandwich. We also ordered an ice coffee and ice water. The waitress said the tap water here was having "problems". She offered us bottled water instead with a cup of ice. Assuming because it their fault the water is having "problems" the water would be free. We ended up getting charged $2 each for two small bottle waters. Ridiculous. Both sandwiches were good. I recommend getting the pinky's special. Their pesto sauce is pretty good. Overall, a horrible experience. Two stars because the food was decent. read more

I was looking for a unique place for breakfast. Pinky's was highly recommended. The place is very small and accommodate just a handful of people. I opted for a TAKE OUT option. I was firmly reminded that I am not allowed to dine-in with a take out order. I ordered the Mallorca sandwich, Puerto rican breakfast sandwich and the French Toast. All three orders came with grilled ham. The Puerto Rican sandwich was with an egg, the Mallorca was with cheese. The French toasts were thick (3 pieces) and were good. With all three serve with grill ham as the focus of each dish, they all tasted the same. I'll try different option if given a chance. I give them props for their quick service. read more

Holy FRICK this place was incredible. It's super small and the vibe isn't anything to write home about so I would recommend ordering takeout if you're staying in the area. Large menu - pretty much what you'd expect from a breakfast place, a lot of egg dishes etc. Prices are extremely low for the portion size. I had the breakfast sandwich ($8) with ham, turkey, cheese, and garlic mayo. Super simple sandwich but easily the best breakfast sandwich I've had in recent history. The sauces they served it with were to die for and I found myself soaking them up with spare pieces of bread. I'm not a big "sweets in the morning" person but someone near me ordered the pancakes and they looked incredible. They also have a lot of specials that aren't listed on the menu. If I had one 'complaint' it's that I wish the sandwich had come with maybe breakfast potatoes or a side of fruit or something just to round it out a bit - would have happily paid a few dollars extra for it. So glad to know that this place still exists. When I lived OceanPark back in 2003, there was one right in my neighborhood. I frequently went on Sundays & met the owner. Pinky's was good. I believe it was be a small chain as there were a couple we saw around San Juan. They small shops, but seem to be very popular both locations we saw had lines out the door on Saturday and Sunday. We luckily didn't have to wait too long to get a table. But if you're larger than a group of four you might have a tough time getting seated. Overall, good food and great smoothies! I ordered a mango smoothie with juice and it was so good, they serve it to you right in a blender and you can refill your cup as you like. I had to have a Cafe con Leche as I'd just arrived in PR and I needed a taste of home. Very good - better than what you may find at other nearby restaurants, to be honest. Friendly staff hustling to clear tables, etc. I noticed with my order of pancake, eggs, and bacon that the eggs were really nothing special. And I prefer my bacon with a bit more crisp to it. The server greeted us when we walked up and we were instructed to please use the hand sanitizer before sitting, it's a quaint small dining area with some seating inside and outside. There is a diverse menu with oodles of choices, they got breakfast plates, wraps, coffees, health drinks and of course sandwiches! We ordered the famous Pinky's breakfast sandwich with medium eggs, cheddar cheese and ham packed into a Puerto Rican baguette. The waitress offered us three types of condiments to go with it which were a hot sauce, papaya sauce and my favorite a balsamic sauce. We drowned our sandwiches with some Cafe con leches which is pretty much Puerto Rican iced coffee with a nice morning kick.
