The programs at Lifestyle Medicine have transformed my life. I've spent the majority of my life severely overweight, and though I managed to lose a good portion of it by the time I hit my early 30's, I still wasn't moving my body enough. As a result, I had a lot of general soreness and a limited range of motion in my knees, shoulders, and lower back, which led me to seek help with one of Lifestyle Medicine's physical therapists (PT), Morgan, at their Renton location in May of 2023. Morgan was amazing from day one. She is a skilled and knowledgeable care provider that makes a genuine effort to listen to her patients and their needs. She helped me build confidence in my abilities, motivated me, and inspired me to keep moving forward. After a few months, as I started to improve, I integrated into their Bridge program, which added support from an exercise specialist (ES) on top of my PT appointments. As the name would suggest, this program was the bridge that allowed me to graduate out of PT while still having regular support with exercise, as well as an accountability partner. It meant that when I didn't need PT anymore, I didn't stop making progress - I still had the support I needed. I met with an ES twice a week who took me through a variety of workouts, helping me build strength and showing me how to add exercise into my week in a way that worked for me. After Bridge, In December of 2023, I moved into their Lifestyle 365 program. Admittedly, I was most nervous about this transition. In this program, you're still meeting with an ES, but now they're building workouts for you to do on your own time. I was nervous about, what felt like, losing my accountability partner - about whether I'd still keep showing up if I knew there wasn't someone there waiting for me to arrive. In the end, what it's actually done is give me a lot more flexibility, while still having a support system to lean on when I need it. This process, moving between each program based on where I was at in my journey, has taught me how to love moving my body for the first time in my 35 years of life. I no longer drag my feet or have to spend time convincing myself to go to the gym - it's a part of my routine that I've learned to enjoy. Overall, there are a lot of things that set this place apart; it is not your typical gym experience. Anyone who has lived their life in a bigger body knows the hesitations that can come with going to the gym or doing any sort of physical activity in a public space; the fear of judgement, the cruelty people can carelessly dole out, and the shame of feeling like you don't belong. And although I was sitting with all those fears, I've never had those experiences at Lifestyle Medicine. Each person you encounter is not just someone who is passionate about health and fitness - they're specialized healthcare professionals who truly want to help you find the right solution for your specific health needs. They listen, they care, and they're excellent at what they do. I'll also note that one of my biggest hesitations about working with an ES in these programs was that the majority of the current care providers in this role are young, active, and male - a demographic that does not always inspire comfort for younger women in bigger bodies seeking support in the fitness realm. And though I work with Graham out of their Maple Valley clinic, I've had an opportunity to meet each of the specialists at their three locations and they're all genuinely wonderful people that help you find the things that work for you, encourage you along the way, and make you part of a community that inspires hope. I'm genuinely not sure I'll ever stop being grateful for how Morgan, Graham, and the Lifestyle 365 program have changed my life. It's been over 8 months of consistency and I've never felt better, more capable, or more excited about the future of my health and well-being. This review concerns only the lack of access. Although this is a physical therapy practice, the entrance door is not ADA compliant. Accessibility is quite difficult for anyone using a walker or wheelchair. This seems like it should be illegal. read more

This office wants your Social Security Number so it can better track you down if you don't pay your bill. The absolute worst patient experience Ive ever had or even heard of! I've used this place before for my son and was not at all impressed by the lack of knowledge and ability to make any progress. He literally did the same thing every time for months, didnt change up a thing even without progress. Due to a new injury I received, I figured I'd try again for location sake. Big mistake. The front desk and therapy team lack the courtesy and compassion required for a medical clinic so badly that this place should reconsider their marketing. After the experience with rude front office staff and wildly incompassionate therapy team, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend ANY OTHER Physical Therapist. Maple Valley has choices and This should be your last resort!!! read more

This review is based on one thing, and one thing only. The lady in the front named Heather. Terribly rude, unknowledgeable and just plain bad customer service. I was told that they may have compression socks. As my husband suffers from kidney disease and he has used these socks before for his leg swelling, but we were looking for some sort of nicer ones. ie fancier dress compression socks under his suits. So I stopped by here. Heather at the front greeted me with a frown and a "may I help you". I asked if they have compression socks. She laughed, yes laughed, and said she has never heard of those. Yes...never heard of those...and she's works at a physical therapy office. I then said, oh really? I was told you may carry them. She then said "I wouldn't know, as I have no idea what those are". All with a rude know it all smirk on her face. I then explained to Heather what compression socks were. She just shook her head and said "no". I asks if someone else could possibly help me, and she said "no one is a available". I asked what her name was and left. I will never go here again, and I will tell others to never spend their money or time here as well. If a company cannot even hire a basic nice customer relations employee in the front desk, who is even somewhat knowledgable, then how can I trust that they would hire a knowledgable physical therapist or anyone else who would know their job requirements? Pinnacle Maple Valley is the best. I have needed PT on and off for 25 years, and the care excellent. The people there are caring, considerate and know what they are doing. Matt Weston, who manages the place, is the absolute best physical therapist, and the physical therapist he employees are top notch. I enjoy the exercise facility and the program because of its structure, and because the trainers oversee your workout. read more

When you walk into a fitness facility like this it is truly inspiring. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I've now used the physical therapy, massage and even taken a fitness class. I'm happy with services on this location, equipment and facility are great!; PT Maricela is helping me to feel better from an injury since first visit, she is always attentive to hear feedbacks and excellent in what she does, every visit worth like diamond.. PTA staffs are very helpful as well, for sure they want you to feel comfortable during treatment. I am not giving 5 stars for ONE reason: Lights are the worse part of my experience! I need to cover my eyes especially when I am receiving treatment on the common area -at least one time of my 2 times per week- lights are directly to your face-eyes, strong-bright enough for me to end with headache! I left this placed relaxed from my neck/shoulder but feeling really cranky after been exposed to those lights for 20-30 minutes! When I am lucky to receive treatment in private room immediately I ask to turn lights off a soon is possible... Has been difficult to match my schedule with their availability therefore no complain I am thinking being busy is a good thing for business...I recommend to bring your agenda on your first appointment to schedule at least 3 or 4 weeks ahead ... Last comment...I have preference for one front desk girl to schedule appointments...no a formal complaint, only be sure to ask questions to your PT and know what you will ask front desk girl to do (book more PT appointments, app for massage, etc.) Overall great place for me to feel better! read more

It's been sometime since my original review, but I think an update is warranted. I've been dealing with some issues over the last year and needed to, in essence, re-start my fitness routine from ground zero to make it work for me. I've been working with Exercise Specialist, Jordan, for a while now. He is thorough, alert to what's going on with me, carefully observes form and impact, and makes adjustment to routines that are specifically designed for me. I am making progress and feeling better with each workout. Jordan conveys interest in and caring for clients in everything he does. Awesome! read more

The best PT office I've ever been to. It's a pleasant atmosphere, caring and friendly staff and excellent PT. I'm currently being seen there with great improvement. My husband had been going to a competitor for 5 months after rotator cuff surgery. He was in constant pain and poor range of motion. I convinced him to try Pinnacle. Immediately he was impressed with the friendly staff and after 4 treatments (2 weeks) his pain has greatly diminished and his range of motion had improved. He wishes he would have gone to Pinnacle months ago and he would be much further in his recovery. read more

My experience at Pinnacle Medical Wellness in Maple Valley was nothing short of FANTASTIC. Our orthopedic specialist referred me to Pinnacle for physical therapy following the removal of my cast for a broken lower leg and ankle. From the initial consult with Staci Lyons, PT to my final visit, I spent almost 5 months interacting with the entire Pinnacle Team and I could not have received a higher level of coordinated care. Staci was in lockstep with the specialists (Valley Orthopedics - now Proliance Surgeons) the entire way and built a plan specifically designed for my full rehabilitation and a return to the high level of activity I was accustomed to prior to the accident. Staci and her entire group of Physical Therapists, Assistants and Exercise Specialists truly cared about me as a person and my progress during rehabilitation as well as making me feel confident as I pushed to rebuild balance and strength. I never once questioned the rehab plan or the direction I was being provided on how to effectively get my leg and overall fitness back into shape. Each of the staff members I engaged with multiple times each week were professional, caring and made my recovery fun. The entire team, from reception to treatment, at Pinnacle was approachable and took the time to make sure that my experience each visit was FIRST CLASS. It was a long road to recovery due to the nature of the injury, but I made it back to 100% solely because of the fine professionals at Pinnacle. I am impressed with my PT Matt, and his asst. PT , Ken. They clearly know their profession. Not only are they well educated but have a professionalism that I expect from a service in the healthcare field. Its apparent that they enjoy finding relief for their patients. I am over the moon about the level of caring and concern, attentiveness and attitude of these two gentleman! They are both sage and methodical. There are no airs about them, great bedside manner. Both clearly articulate everything in the pt sessions and have a great positive attitude, never over the top, just normal! The reason for 4 stars, not 5 is that there was a glitch in scheduling with the receptionist. Will give them a pass on this. YAY for Pinnacle! read more
