Many times servers go unnoticed because the waiter/waitress usually takes your orders and tips but I really do hope they share the tips there because Mia was simply running the whole restaurant with the upmost efficiency and hospitality I've probably ever seen. There's nothing more you can ask for when you have someone like her on the crew. Don't take employees like that for granted because they will excel in any work that's thrown their way. I was very pleasantly surprised by the lovely brunch put on by Pinstripes. We were craving an old fashioned, pre-COVID type brunch and Pinstripes did not disappoint. There were plenty of food selections to satisfy everyone's appetite; tables were replenished before selections ran out; food was good quality and the servers were attentive but did not rush you through your meal. We went early (10:30am) and the lines at the various tables and stations were minimal. However, by the time we left at about noon the lines were getting quite long and crowded, so I would definitely recommend getting there early especially if you have children or seniors in your party. Overall I would recommend the Sunday brunch at Pinstripes and I would return. A little pricey but worth it every so often. read more

My friends son got married on Saturday this Memorial Day weekend 2018. The reception was at Pinstripes in Oakbrook which is great place to have an event. They had a buffet and and open bar. We were in the second floor banquet room. They had a number of tables with different food offerings placed in different locations around the room. At the entry in there was a small table with lox, shrimp, bagels, croissants, fruit salad, yogurt cubes w/fruit & granola and a plate w/tomatoes, onion & cucumbers for bagel & lox sandwiches. In one corner they had a waffle station in the other corner there was an omelet station. They also had a hunk of roast beast to satiate your carnivorous cravings. In between they had a table w/breakfast foods like bacon (yum my fav), sausage, scrambled eggs w/spinach, chicken fingers (for da kiddies). On the opposite wall they had 2 different salad, 3 or 4 flat bread pizza offerings & chicken w/shrooms, pasta w/meatballs a/red sauce and macaroni noodles, spiral pasta w/white sthuff on it, grilled yellow & green zucchini w/tomatoes. There was also another dessert table. They also had an open bar. I was a good boy no fatty foods (not eating the bacon killed me) or pastas. I also stayed away from the dessert table. . I focused on the lox (which I love), shrimp, granola fruit yogurt and salad. This proved to be plenty of food. I also had 3 Long Island Ice Teas and was feelin pretty good. My sista from Long Island went with me since my wife had to work. It was a very enjoyable time with some very good friends, good food and da Long Island Iced Teas. A group of friends and I came for a Dolly Parton themed event. We were in the patio which was absolutely fantastic. Awesome ambiance and we could hear each other speak. We do this every year with a different theme. Our server Val has a lot of patience to put up with us. This review is for Sunday Brunch only: The layout is terrible! Buffet is on other side of bldg from seating area. You have to walk through mobs of people waiting in line while you have your plate of food in hand. Dont expect it to be warm by the time you sit down. Is that intentional so guests cut down on trips to the buffet? The buffet is adequate. Omelet station is good but they need more than 2 people-a long line. Their peel and eat shrimp were good but the tongs to pick them up with didnt work well. Was that intentional so you dont take too many shrimp? Had to wait for plates. Prime Rib station was empty of meat. Had to wait 10 min for them to bring more out. Nothing easy about this place! Dessert bar was great. Loved the chocolate fondue. (Picture was taken before I even noticed the mold on the food) This was my first time at this restaurant, and I will never be coming back. To start off, when my brother and I got our burgers, we noticed mold on the buns. Our waiter, who was the only good part of our experience, immediately apologized and took our food back. He then said the manager, Dan, would be over right away and they would remake our food. The manager we could see walking back and forth in the room, completely ignoring our table. He was not very busy and we were dumbfounded as to why he did not come to our table. 15 minutes later a different manager came from the kitchen with our food, who was only just told about the situation and she didn't seem to know what was going on. After she had left we asked our waiter why the manager on the floor had not come by, and he said he must have been busy. This was obviously not the case, and we saw our waiter talking to the manager on the floor again, and he finally came over. He gave a lousy apology and lied about not knowing about the situation. They did comp our food, but the whole situation was not handled correctly at all. To add on to that, we were all served cold fries with our food. At a pricey restaurant like Pinstripes, you would expect great quality. You just wonder what other old food they were serving to other customers from their kitchen, or what other people were served moldy buns earlier in the day that didn't notice the mold. The place is upscale and a lot of fun. If you've never played bocce, Pinstripes is the place to go. Unfortunately, I was there with a companion and requested split checks. The server brought us two checks, we both signed, but then later on I see the charge on my card for both! I'm still not sure what happened, but I asked my companion if they had charged her card and she said no, so it all went to my card. I tried to resolve this with the manager but they never call back and when I went in, the one shift manager couldn't resolve this either. All in all, it's a good place, but make sure you take pictures of what you sign because if they screw it up they won't even attempt to fix it. read more

I'd like to give 0 stars but the program won't let me. Myself and my family were extremely disappointed with the bowling experience. The lanes and the approach are "short" . (These are not standard bowling lanes). The electronic score keeping is nice but no employee helped us set this up. We had to figure it out on our own. The employees there were basically useless. We even asked them several times to please change the tv channel (a minor league ballgame was playing). They were unable to do this. They were however able to give themselves a 20% tip on top of the bowling ! (Not joking. A 20% tip is added to the BOWLING automatically without authorization or consent of the patrons !) We paid $360 for 6 people to bowl for 2 hours. Ridiculous ! We asked the manager to call us back. We left messages for Nick. We never received a call back. Oh do I love bunch!! Pinstripes bunch was awesome! The food was bountiful and service was met. For about $25 dollar before tax per person you can choose and eat to your hearts content. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time to be seated right away. They offer toast station for bagels, muffins, bread of course with jams and butter spreads. Also hot stations having pastas, pizzas, cold stations salads, olives, fresh fruit, puddings, lox, live stations such build your own omelettes with lots of toppings to choose from and crepe/pancakes made to order. As always, we had a great experience at pinstripes. We went for the weekend, brunch, and although the restaurant was extremely busy and noisy, we had exceptional service by our server, Christian. The food items were fresh and delicious; omelette was wonderful, and dessert station was outstanding. Omg this place was so fun! I came on a first date and it was fantastic for that and in general. The bar area was great, attentive servers. We ordered the crab cakes and they were great with chunks of avocado for us basic gals. My date reserved a bocce ball lane for us prior and it was so fun. I'd highly recommend reserving a bowling or bocce ball lane in advance as it looked packed. We also had a server taking care of us while we played if we wanted more drinks or food. Kinda disappointed I know that this is supposed to be a bowling alley but the atmosphere just did not do it for me

If I had the option to give no stars I would! From the beginning of our experience, before our server introduced himself, he mentioned if this was all one bill because "he was very busy". Really set a tone for our first interaction. Besides, low table maintenance, long wait for table check up, to empty water glasses for more than 20 minutes we decided to help the team out by cleaning or own table and stacking our plates. After ordering our entrees, my guest and I were told that we were no longer able to order drinks, without an " official last call". I asked for a manager not once but twice but a manager never reached our table until I had to asked a third time, finally Pete came to our table. I appreciate the last round on the house that Pete offered, but we sat waiting for our entrees way past 8. I've never dined at an establishment where we cannot order cocktails before receiving our entrees. I had 15 guest and three of them left just because of the terrible experience. Beyond embarrassed, and disappointed with what I presented to my family for my birthday dinner. I guarantee I will never come back, I will make sure to discourage anyone from dining, and avoid such disappointing service. If I had an option I would definitely not want an automatic gratuity, not only do I feel robbed, but once the restaurant was empty we still weren't able to get water to the table, until I physically had to get up and approach an employee; which he responded by slamming a bottle of water on the table. Feeling personally attacked for my communication to the manager, I feel like the staff were very disrespectful after that incident. My daughter's wedding reception over Memorial Day weekend. The event was delayed and rescheduled 3 times due to Covid. We were skeptical since we dealt with 4 different representatives along the journey. They delivered! The venue is perfect for large family events. Those that enjoyed music and dancing stayed in the main room. The outdoor area with fire pit facilitated conversation. The bocce kept the kids occupied. The bowling during cocktail hour was a great hit. The staff joined in the celebration and were also very efficient. The food was good- tough to serve great for 150 people. Overall a great event! Last time we came was on Thanksgiving! The did not have the all you can eat buffet... Just a "normal menu". The place was relatively empty. The food was very good... Some dishes better than others. My mom did not care for the lasagna... Too saucy. The chicken masala was just "ok". My dad had the ribs... Very good. The burgers were a hit. Salmon was tasty as well. Went to a New Years Eve event for kids, it was totally unorganized! This was a pre registration event. They had enough seating for about 1/3 of the people there, the ran out of party favors. They advertised face painter ter and balloon artist. There were about 200 hundred kids and they only had 1 face painter, 1 balloon artist of which were only there for 1 hour, so maybe 20 kids got to receive one or they other. There were so many kids disappointed! Then they did have a balloon drop, but even that didn't come down right after the count down. I children's meal was included in the price of your ticket, however even with a requested reservation, it was not honored. Every was just told to go wiat in line to get into the restaurant. There were a minimum of 50 people ahead of us in line. My granddaughter said nana can we please go eat somewhere else I am hungry. So of course we had to go somewhere else to eat! So in summary, I drove 30 miles each way,paid for gas, tolls and had to purchase lunch elsewhere all for a delayed balloon drop! This was my first time at here, I made dining reservations for my sons 12th birthday. We chose patio seating which is semi enclosed and nice during sunny mild temperature days. Only down side was there was a million ants crawling in the table and my son does not like bugs so he couldn't focus on food because he was looking for ants. The food was pretty decent and fair portion sizes. I tried the spicy jambalaya, my daughter had the bolgnese, my son had the half rack ribs and my husband the ribeye steak. I was at Pinstripes today for their Mothers Day Brunch. What a delightful experience! The variety of food, the way it was cooked, and the quality were perfect. They had an omelette station, waffles to order and so much more. It wasn't the type of buffet that was ridiculously large. It was perfect for families with children. Pizza for breakfast? Absolutely spot on for kids! Our waiter Caleb was attentive to our needs and pleasant. In addition there were two people making balloon animals and face/arm painting for the kids. This is not my first time to Pinstripes, it is a gorgeous 2 level entertainment center in the Oakbrook Mall area. However, I recently became aware of their curbside discount so we have been ordering everyday now and wow, I didn't realize the variety of delicious options they have! Loving the ribs, the Prine Rib sandwich, the Pesto bread, and the Jambalaya! I am also thoroughly enjoying the discount that allows me to try almost EVERYTHING on their menu so when things return to normal, I can continue to patronize them regularly! Me and my family went here this past Thursday(may 10th) to enjoy my brother's birthday. We were the first ones in the door when they opened and we were treated with the most disgusted attitude by the front lady who was nothing but unpleasant our whole time. She was beyond rude and condescending to my family. From rolling her eyes at us to basically calling us liars when we asked why our bowling lanes were constantly freezing.
