What can I get you today?" And proceeds to make my sandwich with speed and a super helpful, friendly manner. He ends our transaction with, "Anything else I can get you? Thanks for coming here. Have a great day!" Scenario 2: Pita Pit. I am greeted by an employee who is busy and avoids all eye contact as he mumbles something like "be right with you." I stand, patiently waiting for a moment or two. When he is ready, he walks up to the counter and says, "What are you having?" with a scowl. I start to give my order and he squints at me and says with an even bigger scowl, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU." And the rest of the "customer service" didn't go much differently. Long story short, if my husband wasn't starving at work I would have gone elsewhere but anyway, someone might recommend he train with the guy at the mall, he could learn a thing or two. read more

Employees were nice & the 1 person cooking & making pitas etc was working hard & as quick as he could, but management should be more aware of the situation & your order volume. Only one person was making the orders & 1 employee was taking orders, making drinks & helping infrequently with sandwich/pita orders. It took over 45 minutes to get our order. Management should have an awareness of normal volume & have more people working with peak time & weekends. read more

It's a good spot to people watch from a window seat, as it's on the busy corner of Aspen & San Francisco. What you get here is a pita bread sandwich- made to order- with fresh meats that they put on the grill, veggies, and sauces. I had a chicken breast pita ($5.50), and topped mine with spinach, romaine, tomatoes, onions, feta, and tzatziki sauce. It was very fresh and delicious! My son had a philly cheesesteak pita, which he also greatly enjoyed. It's not going to set you back much more to eat here than a place like subway. Pretty sad, we ordered a hummus, with 2 gyro sandwiches, two chips and two waters. It came to a little over $45. It took over an hour then when it was finallydelivered there were no chips and only one water. The sandwiches were ice cold and pretty nasty. Update: Within a few hours the Owner responded apologizing for the missing items and offering to comp the whole thing. It appears the grub hub driver took nearly an hour to make the ten minute drive so not within their control. I appreciate his reaching out and offering to comp the meal. I was with my friend at a Beer Festival in Flagstaff. We were searching around for something good to eat to sober up. We ran into Pita Pit and we got our satisfaction. I wasn't too hammered, but I remember the succulent juice from the meat with very fresh veggies and zesty greek dressing. I like the place so much, I will definitely stop by again when I go to Flagstaff. I had to write a review about this place because when we arrived here around 10:30pm-ish the store was empty and very quiet. We made it in just before they closed but as soon as we walked in we were greeted by very polite and friendly faces! I was surprised at how professional everyone was, especially at such a late hour on the weekend. The guys took our orders and explained patiently whatever questions I had for them. Before we knew it our orders were ready and we took them to eat in the car. After we opened them up and took our first bites, we were floored by how tasty it was. Honestly, we had little expectations for this place but we loved our pitas! Thanks to the young guys working here who showed some impressive work ethic and pita-making skills. First came here with friends visiting from Las Vegas and they liked it so much that they did a search to see if there were any locations back in Vegas. Unfortunately there were not, but when we talk about them visiting again, they always add, "And we can go to Pita Pit when we visit next!" Pita Pit is like Subways but with a much yummier flavor. They add more gourmet ingredients to their sandwich filling (like feta cheese and romaine lettuce) which is nice from a health point of view, but also makes the taste soooo much better than Subways. Price is good, too. And they really pack the pitas full to the brim. One sandwich is two meals for me (if I can resist eating the whole thing when I dig into the first one). Seriously, this is one of the best tasting sandwiches I have had. Service is fast. They're open pretty late (good for when you've been at the bars). Friendly staff. Since that first time with my Vegas friends, I have become a regular to Pita Pit, and often stop in if I have had a late night studying at school. read more

really unfortunate that i have to write this review, as i've been going here since i was young and had no problems, but it's been a while and tonight sucked! went in over an hour before close, all the chairs are put up which wasn't a big deal as we weren't planning on staying to eat but it was definitely early for that. after we order the girl working (didn't catch a name, she had blue and black hair though) looks to her friend who is just hanging out as a customer, rolls her eyes and says "jesus christ! i put the chairs up for a reason" in a very exasperated tone and then looks at us. she takes forever making 2 pitas, and is rude handing them off. and finally, once we got home to eat them we find that they're extremely lacking in the meat department and the bacon is undercooked to the point of being mushy and chewy and gross. maybe just a bad night on her part i hope, because if this is the new norm then i don't wanna go back :( read more

But, it's open late, it's one of the only places that's open after 10pm in Flagstaff, has one of the best locations and at that time of night, you can't go wrong. Went to see the band Open Spaces at The Green Room on Friday night and was starving when I left. Thank goodness Pita Pitt was open late. Really late for Arizona, 3:00 am I think. Let's face it, not a lot of choices late at night in towns in Northern Arizona. I had the chicken kebab pita with hummus. Yum! It was very good, reasonable, and, heck, there! I'll definitely give it another go. The setup is the Mediterranean equivalent of Chipotle in that you select your meat and there are a variety of fixings from bell pepper, lettuce, peppers, hummus, etc to add to the pita. read more
