Pretty good food. First time to a pita pit and the staff was pretty friendly. We checked in and got two free cookies, not too bad!

I worked at a pita pit for two years, and let me tell you, i know how to make good pitas, however this pita pit does not. I just ordered for delivery, and everything about my order was wrong. I asked for vegetables grilled, didnt happen, I asked for provolone cheese, got feta instead, I asked for sauce on the side, got no sauce at all. I know how online orders are processed and seen through, however the workers at this Pita Pit have no clue what they are doing. Next time, check the order details before you send it out. read more

I enjoy coming here with the fiance when we're in the mood for meat and vegetables (all under $7). The staff is always friendly and helpful, plus the location is decently clean and never too packed. We usually get the philly steak pitas and they've always been very tasty. I'm never usually too picky at places like these (you get what you pay for), but the taste, value, and quick service always have us coming back. The black bean pita was delicious, especially since I have been dying to have a vegetarian meal but my partner is a die-hard meat-at-every-meal kind of guy. Food was ready very quickly, tasted fresh, and overall it was a no-fuss deal. When you've spent a long night at the Lowell Observatory and need a quick bite - this place is fabulous! My husband got the steak fajitas and I got the Philly cheese steak - they were both OUTSTANDING! and quick and freshly made and just what we needed! Pita pit is like a Subway on taste steroids. Coming from Phoenix to Flag for a little by and partying, we found Pita Pit to be an excellent quick meal in a pinch. I love the subway style set up! They are also open late so when u have the late night munchies it provides a healthier option. The falafel is delicious and the veggies are super fresh. If you don't like Greek style they also offer the regular deli meats like ham and turkey. read more

Fresh ingredients, you pick your fillers, selection good but not great, but when all put together... it was very tasty! Ends up to be about an 8 inch tube of deliciousness. Friendly & helpful staff. Our Pita Pit in Las Vegas, NV went out of business so we were overjoyed to have lunch at this location. I had the falafel pita and my husband had the gyro. We ordered regular meals as combos and really enjoyed them. We received two free cookies by checking in on the yelp app. $24 was a little expensive but we're on vacay I must add that the Coca Cola Zero had the right amount of seltzer and syrup. So many food establishments can't get it right but this one did. The counter help was very nice. read more

First time here and this place is SOO good! Had a buffalo chicken pita and it's been one of the greatest things that's gone in my belly. A worthwhile stop for a quick lunch because there's not much else like it in downtown Flag. There are plenty of fillings to choose from, including falafel, Philly steak, vegetarian and chicken caesar. It's a Subway-like assembly line, where the workers will stuff a huge pita with your filling of choice plus various toppings and sauces. read more

Delivery? HAH! Let me recall the excuses I've been told for no delivery in the last 4 weeks .. "It's graduation weekend we don't deliver past 10p" .. (Hours listed open until 3am) "Our delivery driver called in sick" .. (Closes at 3am) .."Sure we'll be there in 40 min" (never showed and charged my card) "we're so backed up on deliveries we cannot take anymore tonight" (it's 10p) .. (Again closes at 3am) ..Food is good when they actually commit to their job but otherwise yea.. Don't count on them! Such a bummer! read more

The staff was always friendly and patient with me when I, and most other late night folks, show up here drunk. That's all the good I can come up with for establishment. I stopped going here 2 years ago after eating the worst falafel pita that has ever been created. To quote my own Yelp tip "What an unadulterated waste of money. I will never go back here. I just paid $7 for a crap salad wrapped in a cold, stale pita that this place passes off as the worlds most pathetic falafel. Save your money. This is low rent food for the stoned and drunk, and even they will be disappointed." I have never eaten here in the daytime or when I was sober, but I can't imagine it gets better if either of those factors is satisfied. After leaving the local bars, I admit I've made poor food decisions. I've been seduced by the lights and the vague smells of edible food coming from this place. Once inside this place, it's like Subway's ethnic, cheap cousin, with the similar low quality meats, raw toppings, and chemical sauces. The pita bread is a disgrace to carbohydrates. It isn't warmed or steamed to give it the chewiness that a pita demands. It's more like snapping into a dry slim jim, or breaking off a piece of cool taffy. They are always generous with the gobs of lettuce, pungent raw onion, and overpowering green bell pepper, but stingy with the meat and cheese. If you want lunch or a quick dinner in downtown Flagstaff, please go to one of the many other viable restaurants in the downtown area that are open for business. If it's late, try Primo's, Greek Islands, the food truck in the alley near pita pit, or the hot dog stand if it's summer. read more

Great spot right across from the Monte Vista Hotel. Fresh ingredients, you can choose all the stuff you want to pack into a pita. I had a 14 hour drive from Denver, CO on a band tour, and this placed revived my highway eroded ass all the way. Not expensive, hip food and staff. Rock music and SKA was playing when I was there. Occupying the bar stools arranged for maximum people watching, you can gaze through the unobstructed large windows facing the foot traffic of downtown Flagstaff, AZ, I enjoyed the food as well as my time here, (I like to take some time to just observe.) read more

After 20+ Captain and Cokes and 7 Vodka-Red Bulls and a great show at the Orpheum, I ended up here. I got the Philly Cheese pita. Pretty damn good for the price. Next time I won't go so heavy on the Chipotle sauce though as it did NOT mix well with the booze. A little limited on the seating, it is a cool spot to grab a bite with a friend. I feel everything with lettuce gets stuffed with too much lettuce. I ordered a BLT for delivery and it seemed quite soggy. I also wish they used whole leaf lettuce instead of shredded. I have no problems when I order on site, but I don't recommend delivery. Open late, I have no other option but to eat here as it has somewhat reasonable prices. Grinodilla's in the alley is THE best place in Flagstaff (also only open late) but it is pricey probably due to taxes (thanks, Obama). read more

But the past few times the manager has been rather rude & doesn't seem like she cares to be positive at all or help her employees, even when the full location was packed she took our order and then immediately went to the back. When I worked downtown I would get Pita Pit for lunch almost every day. Also, it is a great fix for the late night munchies! Great spot for a quick lunch. The pita's are big and soft ... wish we could get these at home! We had the black bean pita and it was very good. The restaurant is clean and the staff is always friendly! You can pick your own fixings and they're always fresh. This place has been a go-to spot since I came back to Flagstaff! The food is great, the hours are really convenient (especially after a night of drinking), they make the food in front of you and have it done in no time, and it is quality food. The only setback is that when I tried calling to place a deliver at the beginning of the week, no one picked up. I called about three times and didn't get a hold of anyone and even after I went in the next day in person to confirm if they deliver, they said yes.
