My wife and I visited this establishment this last February when making a visit from Austin, TX to see if we could relocate for my job. From the siting of Shiner Bock beer to the "hi how are you" graffiti art on the wall (is there a tie to Austin here?!). We ordered a pizza, my wife got a glass of wine and I got a beer. Found a table in the corner and browsed to see people and kids enjoying themselves and thinking....this seems like a place we could live. Pizza was good and we felt like the service was adequate. Our server came over and told us he hadn't paid enough attention to us and the next round was on the house (is my boss paying these people off so that I will move here?!). Thank you! This was the turning point in our trip and now we live in Los Angeles. It was moments like this that made us feel we could leave our comfortable nest in Texas and venture to California. After another online order with the same outcome I was able to speak with the manager and had a wonderful conversation about the online system. Her recommendation was to make the order over the phone for the most accurate timing. During this crazy time, I feel it is important to support our favorite local spots and I appreciate the honesty and helpfulness received from the staff and management as they navigate this new 'normal'. You walk in and order at the counter and then find a seat where they will bring your food to you. Individual pizzas that are pretty big and will leave you feeling full if you are able to finish the whole thing. Pizzas start at about $11. You can order a from the menu or create your own pizz - or you can order a pizza from the menu and add on items. I ordered the Burrata for $12.50 (Burrata, Tomato, Caramelized Onion, Arugula, Hazelnuts, Pesto) and added prosciutto for another $2. The pizzas have a pretty thin crust and are pretty tasty. They also have a good selection of beers. They also offer seasonal pizzas. There are pastas, salads and sandwiches as well. Kids menu available as well. Homemade chocolate chip cookies for $3 are AMAZING. Huge and soft and full of chocolate chips. Get a few to go because you'll be craving them later. Service here was amazing. This place has TERRIBLE service in the sense of slow pace to order, disgusting attitude from the servers to the managers! They all seem so unhappy to be working here. My order was to go and when it was ready to go it was thrown on the table by the server and she turned around without asking if I needed anything. I said excuse me can I have a bag? She answered by first rolling her eyes and staying they don't give bags to go, when I saw they did. I then asked for pepper and cheese and she rolled her eyes AGAIN and said "you can grab them yourself!" This is my first time dining here and enjoyed the Margarita Pizza. It's not the best pizza that I've had in the South Bay, but it was good. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick.
