Had grandkids and wanted something fast and what they all like. We found a parking place and a nice large booth inside. Everyone was nice and friendly and the place was clean. Prices very reasonable including drinks. I got a taste of Melvin Heyz Mexican Lager, very good so I got a nice large glass. Kids had water and Diet Coke. The youngest ordered a cheese pizza. The rest of us (4) got a large Zoe's Pepperoni and Margherita. Not much left which is a good sign. They also had a full bar.

The ambiance and the staff were warm and great. This eatery is expensive The pizza was delicious and the assorted pizza prices start from $13 to $20. There are also shareable appetizers likechicken wings, soups, and sweet potatoes. There are assorted vegetable, pizza, and salad dishes. There is a full bar of assorted alcohol drinks starting from $9.50 and u. They have assorted vegan cheeses, vegan ranch dressing, and a Vegan Margherita pizza made of vegan parmesan and mozzarella cheeses options for lactose intolerant persons. The sangria tasted well and was not strong. My friend tasted a sample of the Huckleberry frozen margarita which was very strong. My friends said that their salad with dairy ranch tasted good. I heard it was homemade. The seperate men and women's bathrooms were modern looking and clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The eatery is located in a strip mall with other restaurants and a few walking paces to the Cinemark Orange movie theater. I saw that the servers carried handful of orders for the crispy roasted brussel sprouts which seems like a popular ordered item in the restaurant.

Parking will be crazy before an event so plan accordingly! It was fairly easy to park and empty on Sunday night my last visit. Their happy hour is every day from 2:30-5:30 & such a good deal! $10 select salads, pizzas, pastas & wings. Beers were $6. My toddler loves the bolognese (over the Mac - I was surprised). The Honey Bear pizza is the parents' favorite and the ginger wings were delicious. We'll probably skip the Mac next time (ours was bland) and try something else. If you have an Amex Plat card, this is a great place to use your quarterly $100 Resy credit! The interior is large and clean and customer service has always been great - I don't mind paying the extra "fee;" you can always request for them to take it off. Also, they have an outdoor dining area that is pup-friendly so we love bringing our dog when the weather is warmer. Note: they'll ask if you want marinara, ranch, etc. for dipping - just know there's a charge for it.

This place was good! When you walk in, you order at the counter, and there are plenty of tables available. The staff keeps the dining area clean, and the tables are wiped down quickly. The food came out fast, starting with the Caesar salad. Just a heads up, it has a very strong anchovy flavor that felt a bit overpowering. The cheesy knots were amazing. They were warm, soft, and paired perfectly with the marinara sauce. My favorite item was definitely the Honey Bear pizza. The combination of sausage, spicy chili, and honey was delicious, and the thin crust had great flavor and texture. I would honestly come back just for that pizza. The only downside was the drinks. Unless you are getting a beer, I would not recommend them because the specialty drinks had a very lime heavy flavor. Overall, this is a solid spot, especially for that Honey Bear pizza.

This is my second time at this location. Pitfire Pizza has a unique selection of pies that you won't find anywhere else! The first time I sat in the restaurant and enjoyed the ambience. The staff working that night were very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I believe Ms. Breaux helped at the register with wonderful recommendations that night. The chef that creates the masterpieces came out from the kitchen to describe in more detail about the pizzas. I really appreciate their great Customer Service. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The seating areas are large. Perfect for a big groups of people to enjoy their pizza pies together.

The Pizza was lite and flavorful. They do have a happy hour. Lunch specials The service was short handed. Had to track someone down every time I had a question or needed something.

Stopped by for the first time after the movies tonight and it did not disappoint! We walked in, sat at the bar and ordered right away. The place was huge and clean and not very crowded for a Thursday night. Service was great from the start, we were greeted and given menus and drinks as we waited. They have the good crushed ice here too!! We didn't see the 3% happy and healthy surcharge until after my husband had paid but honestly I think more companies should do this to provide a livable wage for their staff. The people complaining about it can go spend their money elsewhere if it bothers them so much, this place has such good vibes inside that I'm sure they don't want you here complaining either. Alright now the food: We ordered the little gem Caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious! I love the way it was layered so that every bite had flavor and no leaf was dry. I do wish it had actual oiled anchovies on it though. That would have been killer if it did. Chicken meatballs - they were very tasty but do add a little bit of red pepper flakes! It gave them a wow factor! Epic bbq pizza- they added fresh red onion and cilantro on top and let me just say it was so fragrant!! The moment it hit your tongue it had an epic feel for sure! The food came out so fast, granted it wasn't busy when we came but I would definitely come back to try the rest of their menu! The pizza was so damn good!

Found this spot on Yelp. Glad I did. Got a honey bear pizza. It's excellent. Quality taste and ingredients. Pizza is a bit spicy. I like it. The crust is really good too. Paid $21 all in for a lunch special. Pizza, soup, and drink. Well worth it. Really neat atmosphere and ambiance. Great decor and music. Service is really good too. I will definitely be coming back here.

Delicious pizza place! We grabbed a menu, sat down, & when we were ready to order we went up to the counter. I love their pizza, it's not oily at all and it has a thin crust. Their pizzas are also so big, once slice could've easily been two. We got a side of ranch and hot honey too & the honey was a game changer! It was the perfect sweetness to our savory pizza. If you're looking for the perfect weekday lunch win, the $19 Honey Bear pizza combo at Pitfire is tough to beat. The pizza itself is unreal -- sweet, salty, a little spicy, and insanely flavorful. The crust has that perfect crisp-chewy combo without getting soggy, and the drizzle of hot honey takes every bite to another level. The side salad was way better than your typical "lunch special" afterthought -- super fresh, bright, and well-dressed instead of drenched. And the soda + cookie add-on was clutch. Having a drink and a warm cookie at the end made the whole thing feel like a complete meal instead of just grabbing a slice and calling it a day. Overall, great value, super high quality, and honestly one of my favorite quick lunch moves lately. Highly recommend trying the Honey Bear if you haven't already!

I decided to come here for a late dinner after hearing reviews from friends about their pasta. Im a huge lover of spaggetti and will never turn down a good pasta when I hear about it. I ordered the bolognese pasta with chesse knotts and man o man did it not dissapoint This was some of the best spaggetti ive had in a very long time, the sauce was perfect racio of sace to meat, it has some a home taste that i woulda made it and myself at home. The chesse knotts were crispy yet soft Im not too sure if they use the pizza dough for the knotts but man did i love the dough. Being a pastry chef and having first hand knowledge on dough I love when I find a place out hat has a fantastic dough. this place is great for large groups the open end booth tables can fit huge numbers. the staff was great and super helpful. im Definitely coming back but next time we trying some pizza

We LOVE Pitfire Pizza!!! My husband and I love coming here after watching a movie at the theater nearby, so it was a no-brainer for us to have a little pre-wedding celebration there with our families. I inquired on their website, and Justin got back to me within a few days to answer all my questions and give me options for the party we wanted to throw. The party was amazing! We had about 25 people, and the outdoor patio space was perfect for everyone to sit, mingle, and play games. As far as service, they went above and beyond!!!! Not only was Justin so helpful in all of our phone calls, but he was helpful during our party. He and Brianna were so friendly and attentive! When I asked Brianna if she could take a photo of our large group, she agreed with no hesitation. We really appreciated them taking care of us and going the extra mile. And Juan killed it with the food! Mine and my husband's favorite pizzas are the Honey Bear and Sausage Party, so we were excited that our families loved them too, as well as the wings, salads, and the mushroom pizza. The food all came out very quickly as well. We definitely recommend this place for a date night, a get-together with friends, or a large party. Ordered take-out from this location on 5/30, as the restaurant was not fully open to the public. Service was fine, however, we were quite disappointed with part of our order. We order the Honey Bear pizza and the Cesar salad. My husband and I were on our way to Disneyland so we decide to eat in the car. First off, the salad is not served in a way that is easy to eat on the go. The Romaine is not chopped, but instead left as whole leaves. In addition, a good portion of our lettuce was already browning. I snapped a photo of some of it. Pizza was decent, but unsure if/when we will be back. I expected a lot more in terms of quality coming from a newly opened establishment. read more

Sometimes I make a stop here after watching a movie at Cinemark. I always get the field mushroom pizza and it's always pretty good. Surprised it's not busy at this location considering the quality of the food is great. The outside patio area is neat too. read more

Decided to try this spot on a whim. Wasn't expecting much from this place due to us being the only customers at the That first bite into honey bear pizza was amazing and it only kept getting better and better, until I found myself at the last slice. "Should I eat it or save the 1 slice for later?" But I knew i wouldn't be nearly enough to satisfy a mans craving for pizza. So I accepted looking like a bloated puffin for the rest of the day. I was driving by and wanted to go somewhere for a drink and ended up here at Pirfire. I wasn't gonna have food but the manager Thalena convinced me and i ended up getting a pepperoni pizza and HOLY SH*T it was amazing! It looked amazing and tasted even better, but not just that, the service and attention that Thalena provided was above and beyond! I will definitely be bringing my family here soon! Live by the circle and all the pizza there is awful. Wanted to door dash something and ran across this place and so glad we did. The pizza is really good. Surprised it's a chain. We got the honey bear. It's spicy but good. We also got cheese pizza for kids that they enjoyed. The wings, Mac n cheese and kale salad were also very good. We will def be going back! read more

The pizza, service & ambiance was 10/10! My sister and I stopped by last night & got the Margarita Pizza, garlic knots & chicken meatballs and omg everything was SO SO GOOD! They have this spicy chili oil that was the perfect amount of spice & flavor. Highly highly recommend! read more

We always go to the other location. Came here twice and I think they still maybe need some time to get things perfected. Ordered takeout twice. First time was a bit burnt but I chalked it up to new restaurant and training. Ordered takeout again today and unfortunately it was so burnt I could not eat it. It was just too bitter even after trying to scrape. Luckily they're good enough for me to give takeout one more shot. After that I'll probably be only dining in. Two stars (for now) because two burnt pizzas in a row. It's a bummer that I spent almost 20 and couldn't eat my food read more

Just FYI - this pizza place adds a 3% surge charge to your bill. The charge is optional but you won't be informed up front therefore you can easily miss this extra charge. I don't support these surge charges. Employees need to ask employers for good pay and benefits. read more

This pizza hit the spot. My husband and I both love that smokey, fire cooked crust...and this place does it well! I was craving the classic margherita pizza and, wow...delicious. It was cooked perfectly with the slightly burnt crust. My husband is a sucker for BBQ chicken pizza and he said it was SO good! He never eats the crust of pizza...and he did this time! Ordered the chopped salad and it was good--would have loved more peppers and olives. Service was great...very attentive. Order at the counter, pick up a number...seat yourselves. Utensils, plates, parm, red pepper, sauces found at multiple stations. Drink station with a variety of soda, lemonades, and self serve water. They also have a ton of beers on tap. We came around 4pm so it wasn't so busy...but it is a large space that can accommodate large parties. Will definite come back! read more

I've been to the Costa Mesa location and loved it! Came here and something tasted different! Luckily Daphne at the register was extremely sweet and gave thee most amazing customer service! I came across this restaurant by going to an event at the Honda Center. Just the name of the restaurant caught my attention. Next time we were in the area we had to stop here to try it out! I really like this place the food was great! The service was great too. I like how we could just sit anywhere and we just order food at the bar. Food amazing the pizza is out of this world. The menu is perfect. In every way. Welcome to Orange so glad to have you. You will not be disappointing. The audience is nice of course you order before you sit down which is nice. Drinks are on point they have fire pits. I placed an online pick up order and the wait time said an hour. I went to go pick up my food at specified pick up time. it didn't seem to busy so I was wondering why the wait time was an hour. my food was warm and my kids pizzas were hard. it felt like my food was sitting their for some time. If the food is going to be ready earlier their should be some type of notification. I felt conned into picking up my order at the specified pick up time. Not cool read more

I can here after Disneyland with my daughter because my husband told me there was a new Pitfire Pizza opening in Orange. He has been to the Pasadena one many times because he works close to there. The servers, host, and bartenders are very friendly and nice. They all seem happy to be at work. They are helpful and knowledgeable about the menu so you can ask them anything. We got the sausage party pizza, kale salad, bolognese, and everybody wants some cocktail. The Bolognese came out first and it was delicious. The noodles were al dente and my 4 year old loved it. It was not drenched in sauce and they use a spinach noodle. Then the kale salad came out. It was good for a kale salad. The kale was cut into small pieces and the sauce was a little sour so it helped to get rid of the grass taste of kale. The pizza was a little slower to come out, but it was nice and hot. I love thin pizzas. It was so melty and meaty. The crust was delicious too! It had a nice crunch to it. The everybody wants some cocktail was delicious too. It's definitely a little strong, but well worth the price. The restaurant is open and lively. The price is not bad for what you get. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place if you need a chill place to hang out with your friends or a large group. read more

Went to Pitfire today for lunch and was I impressed! Very friendly and knowledgeable service, excellent food and drinks - we got the the Frose and "made it pop"-(added a champ split into the beverage for $5 more - well worth it.) The food was excellent - we got the Sausage party pizza and the chicken pesto pizza which were both very good. And for a side we got the Brussels sprouts - amazing! Don't forget to have cookie with ice cream for dessert! Cool environment- order at the counter, sit down and they run the food out to you- and maintain the table throughout out service! I was recently back visiting California from my residence in New York, and Pitfire was a great pizza spot to satisfy my craving. Mikaela, the bartender, had a friendly and fun energy that made the experience that much better. She recommended the meatballs which were delicious, and made us some delicious cocktails to go with our food (my husband's favorite was the Staycation!) Would definitely recommend. read more

Borderline 3 stars but I'm just really disappointed. This was our go to on our way home from Disney, this was our 3rd visit in less than 2 months. The first two times everything was amazing, I believe because the owner or a higher up was there, he even came to our table and made sure everything was great. Last night we went again and service was just not it. Our appetizer of cheese bites was a set of 3 and it was decent, it was ok, but what we come for which is the pepperoni pizza was disappointing. I don't mind paying $20 for a pizza but when 1/3 of it is crust and has little to no sauce and the toppings are sad it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Spent $40 on one pizza, 3 little cheese bites and one fountain drink and one side of ranch that they forgot to bring and just wasn't happy. Probably won't be back but maybe will give it another shot. read more

I typically drive all the way to Costa Mesa for my pizza , I have Sidecar Doughnuts and salt and straw ice cream right by me but it's a bit of a drive . They recently opened up a Pitfire location in Orange, which is 7 minutes away from my house. Yesterday was my first time going with all my family and I was blown away. The service was fast pace, Food came out fast. And it tasted so delicious. The waiter kept checking back on us making sure that we were good. They sat us down immediately. Overall service and food was 10/10. I will be coming back ! read more

This is an interesting concept. You walk in, order at the bay and then find a seat. They bring your food out when it's ready. There are stations throughout the restaurant with utensils, plates, etc. There's plenty of room to sit and tvs around to watch the games. I had a pizza and salad. The sauce is mild and very much tomatoes without a whole lotta spice. The cheese is moderate and nothing special. The crust is different, not very crunchy but softer and slightly chewy. It's a decent tasting pizza. The salad was tasty with kind of an Italian blend dressing. It was a decent meal, worthy of 4 stars. Not for those that want a spicy overly flavorful meal. Went before concert. What a mistake. Understaffed and mediocre. Extremely slow to get food. No ice in soda machine. Dirty tables and never even got everything we ordered. The one server we saw was super sweet and I felt bad for her as the problems weren't her fault. Will not be back. read more

Well me and friends ordered from there not even 30 mins ago. Our wings were freezing cold. We didn't receive utensils,ranch Parmesan or anything else we asked for. It was happy hour and we were charged full price... the employee or apparently manager Kiki came out dirty as hell. Food and stuff all over him he was giving someone else the wrong pizza and laughed about it while being rude to my friend who came in the grab the food. Told her she needed to wait outside and called security on her for calling him out for being a jerk. Kiki needs to be fired. He thinks his little fast food job is allowed to give him a power trip. Also, if your SERVSAFE CERTIFIED you know the regulations on how your apron and clothes should be kept while your working and he was DISGUSTING. Shocking Racial Discrimination - Purposely Ignored and Not Served. If I could give zero, I definitely would. My wife and I came here after a Ducks game, hoping to try a new pizza place and end our night on a positive note. Unfortunately, what we experienced was one of the most blatant and disrespectful acts of discrimination I have ever encountered. From the moment we walked in, the staff at the register ignored us. They were serving other customers getting drinks, so they were open. We waited patiently in line, and when it was our turn, the two staff members made a conscious decision to look past us, avoid eye contact, and never acknowledge we were there. They did not say a single word to us--no "hello," no "I'll be right with you," nothing. The restaurant was not busy; there were maybe 20 people already eating. Their excuse, when my wife finally confronted them, was that they were "busy." This is a pathetic excuse. It does not take two people to make drinks, and it costs nothing to be polite and ask a customer to wait. The most disturbing part, and the reason for this review, is the clear pattern we observed. The staff effectively communicated with and served every single customer in front of and around us. We were the only people of color in the restaurant at the time, and we were the only ones who were completely ignored and refused service. This was not poor customer service; this was racism. It was a deliberate act of discrimination. We are professionals--I am a nurse and my wife is an administrator--and we were treated as if we were invisible and unwelcome. No one, regardless of their job or appearance, should ever be subjected to this disgusting behavior. We took our business elsewhere, and I urge you to do the same. Do not give your money to a business that allows its staff to racially profile and refuse service to customers based on the color of their skin.
