Chipati + banana peppers
Jon S.

The best Oreo milkshake I have had to date. I'll update this post if I come across another place that does it better... but we seriously take the drive just for the Oreo Shake. I can't explain it... it just has "it". Stumbled upon this place back in college... and I still take the ride down memory lane... through campus... just to grab a chipati and shake. We are talking decades now. Wow do I feel old. Chipati is a salad in a pita pocket. With its own style dressing... amazed that no other restaurants around metro Detroit serve a similar style menu item. Even if there weee more in the area... Would not deter me from returning to pizza bobs. Located at state and packard... Limited parking in the area. Beware- they moved to the corner spot. Because they are that good. Where the burger joint used to be located. Ironically cannot recall if the pizza is good... I think the last za I ordered was back in 2008 when they had a buy one get one special. Once you go Chipati you don't go back!!

Great place to eat! I stopped in today for lunch and had such a wonderful time chatting it up with the two staffers. Got a chipati and milkshake and it was perfect. Must come back next time I'm in the area. I do feel bad for the workers. They were wearing masks the entire time, even around their ovens. It's gotta be torture for them!!! Gave a good tip, they totally earned it!

I love the chapatis here!! They are one of my favorite things. Also so fresh and warm when I pick them up. I usually call ahead and the service is quick and so so kind. The inside is nice too and a great location.

Calzones and Milkshake

Had delicious calzones and shakes including seasonal peach. Staff is super friendly and the food was fantastic.

I heard great things about this restaurant from some friends. I went in for dessert and got an Oreo milk shake, and it was fantastic. Nice staff, and a great environment. Also, overall one of the best milkshakes I've had in a while. I highly recommend!

One for effort and two for being edible.. Avoid the pizza unless you have never had pizza before as this will set the new bar for terrible. The calzones are decent and not a bad option if you end up stuck here with friends. Also no restrooms.

Chipati time.

What can I say, I lived on chipatis with whole wheat pita and chicken throughout college, and it has become a tradition whenever I am back on campus. Great for dine-in, delivery, or pick-up. If you've never had a chipati, do yourself a favor and head in!

Best chipati in Ann Arbor!

Been wanting to come here for the last 5 years! I had high expectations for the chipati and milkshake, and definitely was not disappointed. Got the chipati and although salad is one of my least favorite things, that magical sauce they use makes you love salad and bread!! The milkshake was the creamiest thing I've had in a while: a vanilla caramel hot fudge deliciousness.

It was nice to see that it wasn't something they microwaved, they prepped the egg to order. I came in ordered right away and had to wait about ten minutes while there was still a small line waiting for their order. If I had to come back, I recommend putting an app or online order and giving yourself at least 15 minutes for pick up. This place was moderately busy and had to wait quite a bit. The layout is a bit awkward they only have window seating which is another reason I would just pick up your order and go, not a lot of room to eat inside. Also as soon as you walk in you hit the pick up window and have to make your way through a bunch of people before getting to the ordering line. Being from NY, I had to try their Reuben called a Rick's Reuben on a Black Russian bagel which is like a rye pumpernickel bagel. The bagel was solid the sandwich is just ok for 13-14 dollars only put in one slice of corn beef, the maize n blue deli across the street offers better sandwiches at a better value. I would come back for their bagel and cream cheeses, but avoid ordering in house and pass on their deli sandwiches

Their happy hour is a bit vague and the pricing is oddly secretive. Despite them having online ordering they don't have a drink menu online and the happy hour is advertised (as of May 2024) as "up to 50% off drinks). My vodka soda during happy hour was about $5 which was fine (even though it was small, made with well, and served in a plastic cup) but it does seem concerning that the full price for said drink could be closer to $10. A bit egregious considering many places in the area have happy hours with real, good cocktails for the same price. The real draw of the happy hour menu imo is the list of $5 apps. I got two sliders with fries and they were good and the portion size was great for the price. While I was there, I saw a bartender making two drinks. He knocked one over and about half spilled out and he topped it up with ice and mixer. I'd be pretty pissed if that were my drink, ngl. For the vibe and the cheap eats I'm being a bit generous with 3 stars, otherwise it would be a 2. Overall much better places to drink in AA.
