It used to be double this size :(
    Julianna S.

I used to LOVE this place. Don't get me wrong, I still do, BUT what the heck happened to their portion sizes?! Their small size salad shrank to be even smaller and their desert...?! It's upsetting to me upset how their slices of cake have been cut in half. Did I really just get charged $7.25 for a sliver of cake?! This is ridiculous!!! That's a lot of money for three bites of cake. I had to take a tape measure to it for entertainment purposes.

Meat Lovers Pizza Pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, ham, Italian sausage, American bacon.

General: My friend and I were looking for gluten free dinner options that were open a bit later in the Glendale area when I stumbled upon this pizza place on yelp. My friend was a bit hesitant to try it since a lot of reviews were older and there was no menu, but we decided to give it a chance. Good thing we did! Menu is available online and that's where we ordered as well. Super easy process. We decided on the Large 16" 8 Slices meat lovers pizza with gluten free crust (ancient grains). The large meat lovers pizza was $31.52 but with the gluten free crust added an additional $6. It was $37.52 NOT including tax. Total came out to be $41.46 including tax. Food: The meat lovers pizza was absolutely delicious. Meat Lovers Pizza included pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, ham, Italian sausage, and American bacon. am not gluten free and I was a bit apprehensive since sometimes the gf version of stuff isn't good but I was pleasantly surprised. My friend also really enjoyed it. Service: service was great. Online ordering was easy and convenient. It emails you when you first order and then sends another email that they're working on your pizza and the approximate time it'll be ready. We went to go pick it up and the gentleman asked for our name and grabbed it for us. He also gave us a small paper bag with paper plates, utensils, and napkins. Ambiance: ambiance is a chill pizza place. It's not very big and there's a couple booths. Good place for small fmilies or friends or casual date nights, but not for super large parties. Parking was easy but we went at about 9 PM and according to their hours they close at 9:30 PM. They did have designated pizza boy spots in the lot tho! Overall, my friend and I enjoyed this spot and would definitely come again for some gluten free pizza! My friend was also appreciative with all the gluten free options and I did notice on the pizza box it was stamped all over.

Good pizza with lots of options for dietary restrictions. We stopped here for a super quick bite and had a good experience. Excellent Service.

    Calzone to-go box
    Justin G.

Oh my! An absolute gluten-free paradise. I cannot believe I barely discovered this place yesterday. The GF calzone is the fluffiest (!!!) dough ever. My wife couldn't tell the difference from regular dough (she's the regular one; I'm the defective one, haha). The GF garlic knots are also so incredibly fluffy! Be warned: the garlic on these suckers is very authentic and not to be reckoned with. It's delicious but it will put some chest on your hair The marinara is very flavorful! Ingredients were all very high quality! We were promptly attended to by several of the staff/owners. They were very kind and attentive. Restrooms were well cared for and clean. They really seem to take seriously their gluten-free offerings and handling. It's part of their business model, not just a one-off gimmick to seem trendy. This is going on my gluten-free restaurant list that I will regularly patronize. Can't wait to try the other gluten-free apps and desserts and 8 (!!!) different GF pizza crusts. Thank you, Pizza Boy(s). Please don't ever go out of business.

    Amazing Garlic cheese bread
    Lucy T.

This is the best gf cheese bread I have had! The bread was fluffy, crunchy on the outside and most in the middle! The cheese and garlic on top had the most perfect consistency and flavor! The chocolate cake is flourless which is perfect! It's rich and has the taste of perfect dark chocolate! The service was great! I asked about gf items and he told me his list! The ambiance is cute and quiet! I recommend you try this place!

    gluten free garlic knots!
    Rei R.

I'm pretty sure Pizza Boy's gluten free garlic knots changed the trajectory of my life. I don't think I've ever been able to have a garlic knot prior to today? I'm a lifelong celiac, and this is the closest thing to the real deal. We got pizzas too and they offered what felt like unlimited choices. So many crust options, so many different pizza varieties. All perfectly fluffy with a slight crunch. My partner who isn't gluten free and is a cook was also so impressed with the quality of gluten free pizza here. This is Celiac Heaven!

Hi are you open I'm calling no one is answering? I've waited since 9 since your opening 9:30am no one is answering its 9:43?

    orders are online only!

Do you use a separate oven for gluten-free pizza?

I have celiac and I'm really sensitive. This place knows what they're doing with gf. I've only had the gf flour crust, none of the alternatives.

What vegan cheese do they use?

Hi are you guys open now? No one has been answering the phones?

    Yes open!!

What are the ingredients in the cauliflower crust?

I just spoke with the manager today and he said flax and water (like a flax egg) plus cauliflower. The flax will make it crispy. I know it seems hard to imagine there are only 3 ingredients. It’s soooo good!

In the meantime we decided to take a look what there was around to go eat in the meantime. What caught our attention when looking online was the Bugolgi Pizza. We decided to head out there and try it out. We arrived and the shop was very clean. We were greeted with smiles on their faces. Once we sat we looked over the menu and decided what we were going to order. We ordered a Bugolgi Pizza and Korean Style Fried Chicken. ( We ate it before we thought about taking a picture lol.) The food was delicious, very good and presentable. The Bugolgi pizza toppings were the Bugolgi Beef, onions and green bell peppers. Absolutely like no other. There's no other place that we know of that has Bugolgi on pizza. The order of the Korean Style Fried Chicken (we got plain because of our daughter) . Our basket had some potato wedges, some deep fried dumplings, and the chicken. We also got some I believe radish side, ketchup and ranch. Everything in that basket stars! It was so good. We all enjoyed our meal. To top everything off. My fiancé and I were so amazed at their customer service. They pay attention to their clients, they want you to be satisfied. I played their claw machine and they hinted the best way to win a prize on it. They saw we needed an extra plate and they brought it out without asking. My fiancé was the one who was able to win a prize from the claw machine. Shortly after when, one of the employees ( I'm not sure if owner) blew up a little heart balloon and attracted it to the plushie for our daughter. After paying we headed out to the door and he went out of his way to say goodbye to us with a smile on his face as we left. We definitely will be back. Thank you Hello Pizza

We walk in and are greeted by the friendliest man, who immediately acknowledged our baby boy and got him smiling. The restaurant atmosphere is small-town vibes in the best way. It was decorated for Christmas and our son had a blast running around playing (the owners got a kick out of him, which makes this place beyond family friendly!)! We ordered potato pizza, the house pizza, a side of sweet and spicy wings, and the sweet potato cheesy bread sticks. All I can say is, we were blown away. The combination of flavors on the potato pizza is seriously incredible - that is officially my favorite pizza of all time. The flavor profiles are so unique... it's like the last truly creative pizza in LA. Our boy loved the potato pizza and cheesy bread, which made our night easier. The WINGS!!! I was pleasantly surprised that they were actually pretty spicy - great flavor and they were crispy. Everything I want in a sweet and spicy wing. If we could rate Hello Pizza higher we would. Bonus: one of the owners took down a Sonic the Hedgehog mascot head and let our boy play with it while we waited. Seriously, this is the vibe we want in a small, hometown pizza joint,

It was my first time back since the event. Got here about 30 minutes before closing time. There was only one other customer at the time. Free parking behind the restaurant. Comfortable inside space with interior seating plus exterior patio seating at the front and side. Restrooms are available. Only one gentleman staff was working. He said he was the manager on duty. Thanks Eddie for your service and help. During my order, I found out that their pizzas have a base cost which was about $19+. Depending on what flavors you want, they will charge $6.00 for each flavor you build your own. I wanted half Hawaiian and half Vegetarian. Custom Medium would have cost me $31+ rather than $23+ for Medium Hawaiian Style only. I ended up with the latter and also got a regular Vodka Sauce Pasta. Total bill came to $38 including tax + tip. I enjoyed the pizza very much. Crust was thin. Sauce was tasty. Plenty of ingredients on pizza. Square cuts versus slice cuts. As for the Vodka Sauce Pasta, it didn't taste the same as before. This time it tasted bland as if it had plain marinara sauce only. Slightly disppointed about that, hence, 4 stars! I don't know when I'll be back to La Canada Flintridge as I'm usually not in the area frequently. When I do visit again, I'll have to try their other pizza flavors and pasta plus chicken wings. I didn't check the price but I'm wishing it still had the price tag from 1975 on it. Made me think of the Werewolf of London drinking a Pina Colada and his hair was perfect. The sandwiches look pretty good, I'll have to try one another time. Overall the veggie pizza was pretty good, but a bit heavy on the veggies.
