My absolute favorite, though, is the penne vodka slice. It's incredible! No one makes pizza quite like this place. The flavors, the quality, and the overall taste are unmatched. It's one of those places you genuinely miss when you move away, and I definitely miss having it nearby. Whenever I ordered delivery, my food arrived quickly and consistently fresh. Pizza was good. Better than most. A bit overpriced for what it is, and the people at the counter could use a little more pleasantry. They're not the most welcoming. I don't care what anybody says this is by far the best pizza shop in Harlem. The food is always fresh and the price is reasonable. You get two slices of pizza plus a drink of your choice for $14. It's a small pizza shop but I hope they get a lot of traction and busy summer Coming up because they deserve it now the restaurant on the other hand is questionable but we're talking about the pizza shop right next-door. It's small but they're quick and the food is fresh. I usually just stop by and get two slices. My only thing I would say is eat it while it's HOT and eat it fresh while it's hot because I do not know what that pizza is like when you have to wait until you get home to eat it and how it heats up I am also never ordered it for delivery because if I could, I would but again I wouldn't chance it. I've ordered from Pizza By Lucille's a couple of times via Ubereats. The first time I ordered from there, I got a personal margherita pie and a grandma pie. Both were good, but definitely did not blow me away. I didn't even think it was worth it to leave a review after that experience. Today, I ordered their MVP (marinara, vodka, pesto) pie and holy moly was it great! I'm kicking myself for not ordering more. It was crunchy, saucy, and had a nice layer of mozz. I gave their margherita pie another spin today and I think it tasted even more mediocre next to the MVP. I've also tried their garlic knots twice and they are potent! Feels like a clove of garlic hits you in the face after each bite. You can definitely tell there's no artificial stuff in there. Looking forward to my next MVP pie! read more

This place isn't what it used to be, but what is nowadays?! I ordered a grandma along with the bbq wings. For starters, the wings were drenched in sauce. You can tell whoever was in charged of preparing the order didn't take the time to properly mix the sauce; instead they just added it on top of the wings. As for the pizza: way too much sauce, the dough is much thicker, and overall, it just didn't hit. Very disappointmenting but I started noticing the difference about 2 years ago. The pizza is actually really good. Definitely tastey fresh and has flavor I would give them 5 stars easy. However I ordered a pie to go half cheese half roni and Italian sausage and to me the sausage needed to be better cooked and smaller pieces. The pepperoni was great and there was a lot of it too. The second big pit may have been my fault but it was soggy when I got home. The cheese had slid all the way off which was probably my fault but the pie it's self needs to be cooked longer. I like a stiff pie what can I say ;-). I really love this place. We've gotten delivery a number of times and tasted half the menu. This pizza is fantastic. They're not the prettiest, but they're so delicious. The regular round pies have a great slightly spicy sauce that makes me extremely happy, and the crust is very tasty. The grandma pizza isn't too thick and always has a good crunch on the crust. We've also enjoyed the mozzarella sticks, lasagna, baked ziti, chicken wings, chicken parm, and tiramisu. I like their food so much, I have to actually limit myself to one order a week. I'm updating my review because when my first experience with Pizza by Lucilles did NOT go well, the manager reached out and offered to make it right. This shows me that they care about their business and strive to provide great customer service. So, onto the food... My biggest gripe from my 1st pizza was the price in relation to the quality. I got a Grandma's Pie w/ Roni and it wasn't great (sparse toppings, undercooked dough). It wasn't the worst but it also wasn't worth the $30 I paid for it. My 2nd pie was a totally different story, bountiful toppings and cooked through with no issues--Definitely worth 3 more stars. And again, the service was wonderful. New favorite local pizzeria. Ordered an 18" pie with sausage and broccoli rabe which was cooked to perfection. Even after delivery, the pie remained hot and crust was crunchy. Not many places offer broccoli rabe so an extra star for that. 1 pie + tax and fees added to $30 which is usually steep for us but quality was well worth it! Can't wait to order again.
